  • With the acceleration of information digitization caused by fast growth of Information Technology, the application of digital forensics has increased but it is underestimated because digital evidence is easy to forge. Especially, the evaluation of the reliability of digital forensics organization is judged only by judges domestically because there is no objective verification system or evaluation method of the capability of digital forensics organization. Therefore, the evaluation model and indices of the capability of digital forensics concentrated on the digital forensics organization, personnel, technology, facilities and the procedure in domestic justice system was presented in this research after reviewing the domestic and foreign evaluation method and the standard of the capability of digital forensics and information security. The standard for judicial evaluation of digital evidence and composition, management, evaluation of digital forensics organization would be presented based on this research.

Research design, data and methodology: This study is quantitative method involve 195 SMEs online business in Malaysia. The integrated framework highlights the conceptual insight in multidimensional technology context (i.e. relative advantage, compatibility, and complexity); organizational context (i.e. top management support, innovation capability, branding capability, market-sensing capability, and human and organization capability); and environmental context (i.e. government support and supplier pressure). Results: The findings revealed that complexity, branding capability, human and organization capability, government support, and supplier pressure have significant positive relationship with e-commerce advantage. Meanwhile, relative advantage, compatibility, innovation capability, and market-sensing capability have significant negative relationship with e-commerce advantage. However, top management support has found no significant relationship with e-commerce advantage. Conclusions: The extended theoretical framework dimension improves existing knowledge on e-commerce advantage as well as the prospect of SMEs digital channel.

  • The production management is one of the essential capabilities of the small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the information technology sector (IT). Therefore, this study empirically analyzed the effects of such important factors as external information network diversity and manufacturing capability on IT SMEs' production management capability. Based on the 310 data collected from Korean SMEs in the IT sector, the ordinary least squares regression results from this study by using the SPSS version 22 have empirically shown that IT SMEs' external information network diversity has a positive and significant effect on their production management capability and this effect is fully mediated by their manufacturing capability. These findings provide a meaningful implication that the positive impact of IT SMEs' external information network diversity is linked to their production management capability through their manufacturing capability.

  • IT SMEs' product planning, product design, and manufacturing capabilities are of importance to creating their sustainable competitive advantages in the context of digital convergence. However, there have been few empirical studies investigating the relationships among them, which has made this research attempt to model the relationships and empirically test them. Especially, this study divided IT SMEs' product design capability into the product exterior and interior design capabilities and focused on the mediating effects of the product exterior and interior design capabilities between the product planning and manufacturing capabilities. By analyzing the 310 samples of Korean IT SMEs with the ordinary least squares regression analysis, this study has empirically revealed that IT SMEs' product exterior and interior design capability jointly and fully mediate the positive relationship between their product planning and manufacturing capabilities.

  • The purpose of this paper is to investigate the factors affecting digital entrepreneurship and digital innovation and the moderating effect of technology absorptive capacity. To achieve the research purpose, the contributing factors are set as technical characteristic (digital technology capability), organizational characteristics (digital learning capability and financial readiness), and institutional pressures (coercive pressure, mimetic pressure, and normative pressure). The research model and hypothesis are established based on the theoretical background of digital entrepreneurship, digital innovation, institutional pressure, and technology absorptive capacity. The proposed model is analyzed by targeting 104 companies. Smart Partial Least Square (PLS) 4.0 is utilized for deriving the study results. The results of hypothesis testing are as follows: First, digital technology capability, digital learning capability, financial readiness, and institutional pressure have a positive influence on digital entrepreneurship. Second, digital entrepreneurship has a positive impact on digital innovation. Finally, technology absorptive capacity has a moderating effect in influencing digital entrepreneurship on digital innovation. The results of this study emphasize the need for digital entrepreneurship in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and digital transformation, and may provide strategic implications for companies that desire to achieve digital innovation through digital entrepreneurship.

Especially, the digital divide in student class makes a worry about education inequality as the education using ICT, e-learning, and u-learning are enlarged. So, the concern about the status of digital divide in school is increasing. In this study, we conducted a questionnaire survey of students and teachers in elementary and secondary schools located in Gyeongnam, and measured informatization level with the weighted average of three subindices : accessing index, capability index, and utilization index. According to the survey, the index on information processing capability showed the largest gap in both the student group and the teacher group. We also had the result of positive correlation between the capability index and the utilization index. These results show that the gap of information processing capability is an important factor for understanding the digital divide.
