  • In the modern society based on information and communication, which is exposed to the risks of a lot of information security breaches, corporate information assets may be an economical scale in a country. Most of damages derived from corporate technological information leak often occur in small and medium corporations. Although many information security managers in corporations have focused on certification systems such as information security management system, small and medium corporations are poorly aware of the information security, and their environments surrounding it should be also improved. In addition, it is difficult to expect spontaneous participations in it, since the sustainable information security management systems are often not forced to be certified. Thus, the purpose of this study is to examine plans to improve small and medium corporations' technological protections by using some component of the information security management system. On the basis of this examination, it also attempts to discuss some methods for effective and efficient information security in the small and medium corporations' technological protections.

The Architectural Simulation for Kenjeongjun of Kyungbok Palace Using Computer Graphics (컴퓨터 그래픽을 이용한 경복궁 근정전 건축 시뮬레이션)

  • Recently, the concerning about cultural heritages has been increased. As a result, the protection, repairing and restoration of cultural assets have been actively in progress. The biggest project of cultural asset reconstructions is the restoration of Kyungbok Palace and it has been in proceed step by step since in 1989. The actual sizes of these traditional buildings have been measured and recorded for future maintenance. In this paper, the 3D computer graphic technique is used to help understanding the inner structures of the traditional buildings as well as their construction processes. In other word, the construction simulation of Keunjeongjun which is the center building of Kyungbok Palace have been produced using 3D computer graphic techniques. The purpose of this project is aiding people in understanding the process of traditional palace architecture in Korea.

  • Many people have used a internet at various purposes. Internet have been used the optimal space to share informations by information producer or consumer. But, recently, through the development of networks and devices, The Internet is expanding beyond PCs and mobile devices into enterprise assets such as field equipment, and consumer items such as cars and televisions. The Internet of Things will enable forms of collaboration and communication between people and things, and between things themselves, hitherto unknown and unimagined. This paper presents various meanings of IoT, and describe the electronic and car domain of internet of things.

  • The content industry is the core of the creative economy. The content industry is a fast-growing and high value-added industry, but becomes a high risk market on the other hand. Content related enterprises are difficult business environment. Thus, the accurate evaluation of content on its value is essential. But, it is hard to assess the value of content because of its intangible characteristics. This study is enabled improving the financing conditions of enterprises through the vitalization of value assessment for contents. Improve financial accessibility is required composition, means of access financial diversification, financial ecosystem to vitalization of value assessment for contents. In addition, the system should be established to support the economic activities of the creative content sector companies. The content industry should develop a new strategy for sustained growth. But, we believe that the accordance and cooperation from related parties, including contents producers, contents developers and governmental departments, are definitely required to boost the game contents industry. We hope that the more efficient methods are vitalizing the contents industry.

The lag analysis on the impact of patents on profitability of firms in software industry at segment level (특허가 기업의 수익성에 영향을 미치는 시차에 대한 미국 소프트웨어 세분시장 수준 분석)

  • There have been studies to evaluate valuation of firms by using patents in various ways. Also, the theory that value of patents helps enterprise's growth is valid in economics. However, when evaluating the value of the company, through the patent evaluation has not been used. Because of previous studies researched relation between patents and firms only at certain points. To solve this problem, this study intends to analyze lag between patent and profitability of the firms. In this study, we classified top 100 software firms in the United States through PBR, PER and value of intangible assets by using cluster analysis. And we applied Almon's distributed lag model to each cluster to find out lag between patent and profitability of the firms. As a result, in the cluster of more valuable companies, patents have an effect on profitability of the firms at regular lags. This study indicates that the patents are an important indicator to assess companies.

  • This paper Non-metric digital video camera against subject of study, stone cultural heritages such as stone pagodas(East & West three storied stone pagoda of dansoksa temple site), and easily acquire still-images which are for analyzing, from moving picture part. When we analyze a location of cultural assets using a Non-metric digital video camera, we could get a accuracy from 1.8mm to 8.3mm. Finally, it can be said that study also suggests the efficient measurement when planning to restore prototype of cultural heritages in the future and providing specific three-dimensional information on them.

AVOIDITALS: Enhanced Cyber-attack Taxonomy in Securing Information Technology Infrastructure

  • An operation of an organization is currently using a digital environment which opens to potential cyber-attacks. These phenomena become worst as the cyberattack landscape is changing rapidly. The impact of cyber-attacks varies depending on the scope of the organization and the value of assets that need to be protected. It is difficult to assess the damage to an organization from cyberattacks due to a lack of understanding of tools, metrics, and knowledge on the type of attacks and their impacts. Hence, this paper aims to identify domains and sub-domains of cyber-attack taxonomy to facilitate the understanding of cyber-attacks. Four phases are carried in this research: identify existing cyber-attack taxonomy, determine and classify domains and sub-domains of cyber-attack, and construct the enhanced cyber-attack taxonomy. The existing cyber-attack taxonomies are analyzed, domains and sub-domains are selected based on the focus and objectives of the research, and the proposed taxonomy named AVOIDITALS Cyber-attack Taxonomy is constructed. AVOIDITALS consists of 8 domains, 105 sub-domains, 142 sub-sub-domains, and 90 other sub-sub-domains that act as a guideline to assist administrators in determining cyber-attacks through cyber-attacks pattern identification that commonly occurred on digital infrastructure and provide the best prevention method to minimize impact. This research can be further developed in line with the emergence of new types and categories of current cyberattacks and the future.

An Empirical Study on the Effect of Cryptocurrency Personal Characteristics on Investment Intentions (암호화폐 개인 특성이 투자의도에 미치는 영향에 관한 실증적 연구)

  • Unlike other currencies, cryptocurrency is not a currency used for general transactions, but is currently applied to various investment assets and its scope is expanding. The purpose of this study is to the effect of personal characteristics on investment intention. As a theoretical background, it was verified by applying the Extended Technical Acceptance Model (ETAM). self-confidence propensity, bandwagon propensity, risk tolerance propensity, network externality, attitude, and Investment intention were composed of variables. The research method collected data from 871 people who had experience in cryptocurrency investment through a survey and analyzed it after excluding the data of 71 people who were judged to be inappropriate. The structural equation modeling method using AMOS was used. As a result of this paper, five hypotheses were accepted as statistically significant. This study concluded that self-confidence propensity, bandwagon propensity, risk tolerance propensity, network externality, and attitude had statistically significant effects on Investment intention. In this respect, this study will be able to provide useful information for cryptocurrency research.

A Study on the Influence of Negative Information on Co-Branding (부정적인 정보가 공동브랜딩에 미치는 영향)

  • This study analyzed the impact of negative information on co-branding, targeting co-branding consisting of a symbolic brand and a functional brand with similar brand assets. Through attribution theory, when consumers are exposed to negative information, they will infer the cause of the negative information. As a result, it was confirmed that when co-branding with a symmetrical symbolic brand and a functional brand, negative information has different effects on co-branding depending on the type. Negative information about the quality of co-branded products had a more negative impact on consumer attitudes than negative information about the iconic brand. It was confirmed that negative information about functional brands has a smaller impact than negative information about co-branding, but has a greater impact than negative information about symbolic brands. In addition, it was confirmed that negative information about the symbolic brand had a smaller negative impact on co-branding than negative information about the quality or functionality of the co-branded product.
