  • By means of analyzing of monitoring technology and monitoring regulation based on maintenance monitoring system installed in subway tunnel section, it needs monitoring system, development of operating program, monitoring analyzing system and development of analysis method, establishment of maintenance monitoring standard specification, and performance of responsible monitoring supervision for applying to subway monitoring maintenance effectively in future. It requires specialized monitoring and legislation of monitoring subcontract, improvement of monitoring work contract method, establishment the standard payment of monitoring, and effective calibration and correction of monitoring system in the plan of improving monitoring regulation.

On-Site Cutting Performance Analysis of Conventional Pavement Cutter for Deriving Performance Standard Value (성능 기준값 도출을 위한 재래식 도로절단기의 현장 절단성능 분석)

  • Noise, dust, etc. caused by road pavement cutting work, which frequently occurs in new construction or reconstruction of buildings, construction of complexes, etc., are environmental hazards and cause civil complaints. Recently, an eco-friendly pavement cutter is being developed to make the work low in noise and dust, however, the on-site cutting performance of the equipment has not been quantified. In this study, in order to derive a standard value for comparing the cutting performance of the eco-friendly cutter under development, a conventional pavement cutter was applied to four residential sites in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do, and the cutting data was collected. As a result of analyzing the collected data, the conventional pavement cutter showed a cutting performance of 12.3 to 20.2 sec/m, and the average was 27.2 sec/m. In the future, additional cutting experiments with various mixing ratios, materials, and depths are planned to confirm the performance of conventional pavement cutter in more detail.

Rural Standard Services Condition in Rural Fishing Area and The Improvement of Checking Methods for Implementation performance (어촌지역의 농어촌서비스기준 실태와 이행실적 점검방식의 개선방안)

  • The purposes of this study were to identify the living environment in rural fishing area and to suggest checking methods for implementation performance. Rural service standard is the key factor of rural development in Korea. In 2012. The first Implementations of performance was announced. The results were presented to the unit by the City and the County. Because of Fishing villages exists as a unit by the haengjeongri. It is difficult to know the status of the fishing villages by the Rural service standard. In order to look for the actual conditions in rural fishing village it was investigated in the 100 Eochongye. The data used in the analysis is 577 questionnaires. Analysis showed that rural fishing areas were superior to general state of rural in the 8 items of rural service standard. Especially housing, transportation and health care sector in rural fishing area wes better than general state of rural. But Public safety and order is relatively poor. This is because Fishing village contains islands. Presenting to improve rural service standard based on the results of research. The items of rural service standard should be measured the actual residents' accessibility than opportunity of the public service, and after setting the rural service standard clearly related to the quality of life of residents in each sector. Accessibility aspects of the customer for the public services should be considered. Checking the performance for the unit by the City and the County should be replaced as a living zone in order to consider the facilities using nearby.

Strength Index in Seismic Performance Evaluation Method of Existing Reinforced Concrete Buildings (기존 철근콘크리트 건물 내진진단법의 강도지표)

  • In Korea, countermeasures against earthquake disasters such as the seismic performance evaluation and/or retrofit scheme of buildings have not been fully performed since Korea had not been experienced many destructive earthquakes in the past. However, due to more than four hundred earthquakes with slight/medium intensity occurred in the off-coastal and inland of Korea during the past 20 years, and due to the great earthquakes occurred recently in neighboring countries, such as the 1995 Hyogoken-Nambu Earthquake with more than 6,500 fatalities in Japan and the 1999 Ji-Ji Earthquake with more than 2,500 fatalities in Taiwan, the importance of the future earthquake preparedness measures in Korea is highly recognized. The main objective of this paper is to provide the basic data for development of a methodology for the future earthquake preparedness in Korea by investigating the concept and applicabilities of the Japanese Standard for Evaluation of Seismic Performance of Existing RC Buildings developed in Japan among the methodologies of all over the world. In this paper, a seismic performance evaluation method of the existing reinforced concrete buildings is proposed based on experimental data of columns and walls carried out in Korea by referring the Japanese Standard, especially focusing on the Strength Index(C) among the indices in the seismic capacity index(IS) equations. Also, the seismic capacities of two existing reinforced concrete buildings in Korea are evaluated based on the proposed methodology and the Japanese Standard, and the correlations between the seismic capacities by the proposed methodology and the Japanese Standard are discussed.

A Feasibility Study of Safety Cetification for Finished Product of Febricated Temporary (조립식 가설기자재의 완성품에 대한 안전인증 타당성 연구)

  • Recently, the using of prefabricated temporary equipments is increasing in the industrial field because it can reduce the installation and dismantling period. The various types of prefabricated temporary equipments are manufacturing with various materials in domestic and overseas countries. However, those equipments should win the safety certificate according to the "Governmental Notification about Safety Certification" which regulate the member-based safety certification. It tends to cause over performance of temporary equipments because it couldn't consider structural benefit of the prefabricated products. As the result of this study, it is concluded that the establishment of new safety certification standard for the prefabricated temporary equipments is resonable and the movable scaffold is appropriate for those prefabricated temporary equipment. The movable scaffolds are using as single structure and cannot be expands horizontally. Other types of temporary equipments are using as complex structure which can freely expand horizontally according to the main structure. From the results of the study, the standard of vertical compression performance of prefabricated movable scaffolds should be more than double the performance of single main frame. Other test items of safety certification standard should be fixed when the Notification is amended. The prefabricated temporary equipments which are adopted for the safety standard on assembled structure should be used, moved and kept in assembled state and not separated discretionally. The establishment of new standard for the assembled structure based on this study leads to the development of various types of temporary equipments using structural efficiency of prefabricated structure.

  • The need for zero-energy building is increasing as a means of actively responding to climate change. Since pipe insulation is a factor that minimizes heat loss of cooling and heating facilities, it is necessary to check pipe insulation standards and prepare improvement plans of preparation for certification of zero energy buildings. In this study, domestic pipe insulation standards were checked to prepare new insulation standards based on energy performance. Through the development of a pipe insulation calculation program, the heat loss according to the insulation thickness of the piping for mechanical facilities was compared and reviewed. As a result, applying the insulation thickness of the KCS standard for the same conditions increased the heat loss by an average of 10% compared to the ASHRAE standard. For this reason, it is necessary to revise the pipe insulation thickness standard in consideration of heat loss due to thermal conductivity and pipe insulation thickness. Using the program in this paper, it is possible to design pipe insulation based on energy performance and help to determine the standard for pipe insulation thickness.

  • Korean Standard Certificate , suitable for the korean industrial standards is one which was designed not only to spread and utilize the industrial standard established for the industrial standardization but to protect the consumer In this study, the practical effects of the Korean Standard Certificate will be examined in various fields, based on the small medium enterprises which achieved the K.S. Certificate In order to look into how the system has effects on the performance of the management in a company, the method of the actual approach will be used. In the end, the purpose of this study is to find the plan in which KS Certificate can be helpful to the development of the company.

A Study on the Treatment of Suitable Flame Retardant to the Fibers for Welding Blanket Development (용접 불티 차단막 개발을 위한 섬유류의 적정 방염처리 방안 연구)

  • This study presents a treatment of suitable flame retardant through evaluating fire performance after treating flame retardant of fibers for development of welding blanket. The experimental samples used were commercial fibers and we are treated fibers with the flame retardant liquid and the flame retardant paint. The fire performance of the sample was carried out according to the Korea and Japan Standard. As the results of the fire performance experiment, the treated fiber in samples had enough in the performance of flame and fire retardant and the grade of their was from grade A to grade C according to flame and fire retardant standard. The lower oxygen index indicated that all treated samples with the resist are satisfied with international standard. We con-sider that the welding blanket treated with grade A, B and C performance prevents fire spread regardless of the height of work stairs in the case of installation horizontally. Also, it is considered that the welding blanket treated with grade C performance prevents fire spread regardless of the height of work stairs in the case of installation vertically.

  • Recently, the government has actively promoted the introduction of BIM at the national level to improve the efficiency and productivity of the construction industry, and private interest in the application of BIM has also increased. However, despite the large amount of references and information, not much research has been done in quantitative ways to accurately measure the performance of BIM projects. The purpose of this study is to review performance measurement cases using ROI, investment effect analysis, and queue model analysis using domestic and overseas BIM guideline research and to present standard templates that can quantitatively measure BIM performance records according to domestic conditions based on this. Performance measurement trends and cases according to the application of BIM were analyzed, and nine quantification elements were derived from this, and based on this, a performance measurement data collection template at the BIM life cycle stage was prepared. Detailed items and contents were prepared for the nine quantification elements, and the final template consisted of a total of 43 questions, divided into the entire stage (15), the beginning (8), the middle (8), and the latter (12) areas. It is expected that by using the standard template of railway BIM performance records developed in this study, the BIM design stage will be diagnosed and the deficiencies will be supplemented, which will be the basic data for measuring actual quantitative performance in all life cycle performance of future BIM projects.

  • Tests and evaluations following the U.S. MIL-HDBK/STANDARD were successfully conducted to assure the performance of the air-to-surface guidance kit which was developed first in Korea. Various ground tests confirmed the operation capability and reliability of the guidance kit, and flight tests proved very good mid-range gliding performance and accuracy of the gliding bomb which was a general purpose bomb with the guidance kit.
