A study on Land Tenure Systems in Current China (현대(現代) 중국(中國)의 토지소유변화(土地所有變化)에 관한 연구(硏究))

  • In China, primary purpose of policy concerning land tenure system was to maintain social homogeneity among people and growth of productivity. Even before reformed by Deng Shao Ping's government, left wing who had placed more importance on the social unity. When they gained political power, pressing against market oriented agricultural policy for the collective farming system. However right wing prefered to adopt the productivity oriented policy, which might lead to individualized farming system at the cost of social unity. Since Chinese government following principles of social economy put more weight on social unities rather than productivity growth, farming system and rural community became developed into homogeneous structure across the nation before Deng Shao Ping's reform. Process for People's Commune, followed by first and then second level coperations starting from group farming so called Hozozo, was historical reflection of developing such land tenure system. However, even under People's Commune, farmers' efforts could be found to increase their own productivity along with emerged private farming, in which Posandoho with week private farming system was gradually developed into Pogandoho. As Deng's government encouraged farmers to increase productivity through the market oriented measure, there had been wide spread of Pogandoho among the farmers even before legal desolution of Peoples' Commune was realized.

  • Mobilization is defined as a use of national authority to effectively control, manage and utilize all personnel and material resources of a nation in a national emergency situation. Therefore, the complete posture of mobilization many deter war and secure victory as well as serve as a driving force for national economy during peacetime The future of military mobilization policies will need to be developed in relation to other government and administrative departments. Also mobilization of reserve forces can increase its swiftness and effectiveness by integrating the civilian, governmental and military departments. Additionally, the mobilization of military reserve forces policy after the unification in this Peninsula will need to be developed through active researches.

  • This paper presents KEPCO research project for developing wide area DAS by reengineering conventional DAS and its functional upgrade. Through the research project system design requirements were prepared based on the local operation status and oversea examples. Application softwares were also developed supporting integrated operation of several area. The system implementation was performed on Choongnam regional head office for pilot operation. The developed wide area DAS will be fully installed on 41 DCC nation wide and expected to contribute on innovation of our distribution network operation.

  • Since traffic engineering in 1950's, 'speed control technology' has experienced tremendous growth and developed constantly. However, speeding remains a major safety concern on many roadways. Many crashes is believed to be the result of driving too fast. Recently the speed reduction device, the speed monitoring display with ITS technologies have developed and introduced in many countries including our nation, Korea. Therefore This paper describes an evaluation of the use of a speed monitoring display, speed limit sign, and school zone sign. Two conditions were evaluated; without installation of Speed Monitoring Display, in Operation of Speed Monitoring Display.

  • Our country has both relics of long history and cultural inheritance as the resources of cultural sightseeing all over the country. Recently we found the lots of cultural assets in history by the survey of the sightseeing resources. Those are known to the people to give their values and semantics and the government makes on a lot of constant efforts. In this study, a system to investigate the path and to visit the location are developed by combining various gio-spatial data with the multimedia contents. This system provides people with guidance to and locating the cultural assets in the cyber space. The developed guide system is more convenient to provide people with the information and they are able to access the designated cultural assets of the nation easily. In addition, the contents are made by that people are able to use easily in the public area as well as on the internet.

  • Schmidt hammer test as an indirect method has so far been widely applied for determining the physical properties of intact rock, and many researchers have developed procedures for its use on rock cores, blocks and in field. Though many methods have developed upto date for indirect using, the almost were single blow which has many errors. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the established as for ASTM, ISRM, BSI, Poole & Farmer and Hucka method and to suggest a new optimum test method and statistical analysis on rocks. The finding has indicated that succeeding blow has served as an optimal to predict physical properties of rocks. To conduct the experiment, researchers have examined 150 rock blocks, which include igneous, metamorphic and sedimentary rocks in Korea nation wide.

  • The controller area network(CAN) was originally developed to support cheap and rather simple automative applications, However, because of the its performance and low cost, it is also being considered in automated manufacturing and process control environments to interconnect intelligent devices, such as modem sensors and actuators. This paper presents a new application technology of the developed CAN control modules for the automated doors in building automation system Key pad and RF methods are used to open and close the automated door by the slave CAN module with CAN Protocol. BAS application technology of CAN field bus modules is also presented firstly in our nation.

  • Since the global warming problem emerged in the international community, the problem has been sought to be not at the national but at the global level. As a result, the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change was agreed by international delegates in 1992, and the Kyoto Protocol which imposes industrialized nations to decrease their greenhouse gas emission was agreed by the international community in 1997. Kyoto protocol came into effect for reduction duty of greenhouse gas.(16-Feb-2005) High developed countries press environmental regulation. It will strengthen an environment regulation from advanced nation with this protocol. This study is intended to examine unfolding transition on negotiations of Conference of Parties(COP), the Kyoto Mechanism referred as a cost-effective tool to meet a targeted level of greenhouse gas decrease, and trends in responses of developed countries to the Kyoto Protocol, and finally suggests legal and politic counterplans responding to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (hereafter, UNFCCC).

A Study on the Characteristics of the Expressive Language of Contemporary Chinese Realistic Watercolour Painting

  • Watercolour painting was introduced to China over a hundred years ago, and in the last two decades, it has developed rapidly, presenting a situation of diversified development. While Western-style watercolour painting has been adopted by Chinese painters, they have also expanded on it with their own aesthetic awareness and cognitive styles. As a result, Chinese watercolour painting has developed a set of expressive techniques that highlight the cultural characteristics of the nation in terms of aesthetics, concepts and techniques, resulting in a painting style with a distinctive national personality at present. Although Chinese watercolour painting has taken on a variety of styles with the intervention of modern and contemporary art, realistic watercolour painting is still the mainstream. However, there are obvious differences between the "realism" of Chinese watercolour painting and the "realism" of Western watercolour painting in terms of expression. The most distinctive feature is the "imagery" language of expression, which is closely linked to the cultural heritage of Chinese tradition and is of great value for research. I interpret the aesthetics, composition, colour and brushwork of Chinese realistic watercolour painting from the perspective of traditional Chinese aesthetics in order to deepen the understanding of Chinese realistic watercolour painting and to provide a reference for the further development of the art of Chinese realistic watercolour painting.

  • As going through technical transition of signal control logic to mechanic, electric, electronic etc., railway signalling system utilizing computer control technology has recently been developed and used since railroad service had been firstly started in 1825 by beginning that horseman kept red color sign and notified something wrong existence and nonexistence of front route to train driver in the Britain. In this paper, the domestic technical change process of signalling technology to be a basic of train control technology is discussed and then reviewed about technical trend of advanced nation's development.
