The landscape disign of Gamcheon wholesale fish Market was designed around a turnkey base to promote the economy of Busan Metropolitan City, to establish a fishery marketing center and to modernize existing facilities. The objectives of the project were to promote the mood of an old market, while preserving its functions and efficiency as a market, to design outdoor spaces with natural resources and amenities in balance, and to create attractive tourist spots in connection with the wide area development plan. The project was oriented, fast, to enhance the functions of the market. For this purpose, a multi-dimensional space layout was designed in consideration of functions as a wholesale market. The safety of pedestrians was secured by separating lathes for vehicles and for pedestrians. Tree planting with various functions such as sheltering, wind breaking and guiding was planned. Secondly, nature-friendly and human-friendly landscaping design was attempted. For this, the beautiful natural resources of Amnam Park were utilized, and green spaces such as green bridges linking buildings in the wholesale market, and rooftop gardens were to be arranged. In addition, environment-friendly facilities such as roads paved with natural materials(i.e. gravel, shells) and program parking lots were to be planned. Thirdly, landscape design was considered to create attractive tourist spots. For example, a fish farm was created as a theme street for pedestrians and various water-friendly spaces such as pedestrian ramps, observatories and seaside streets were to be secured. The main contents are as follows. First, a green bridge to Ahnnam Park was introduced for a tour source and flower garden, an event plan and viewing deck open to the sea were planned on the bridge's axis. Secondly, for the effective land use plan concerning open space and convenience to visitors, a promenade was planned, which is connected with the theme plaza and small plazas by environmental sculptures in front of the market hall and at the gate. As well, an observatory and a roof garden help create three dimensional multi leveled space, with a good view of the natural landscape of the sea, sky and park Thirdly, landscape materials, such as trees and those for facilities, strengthened for protection against the seawind and salt damage were selected. The commercial market area was intended to be transformed a traditional functional area of efficiency and economy into an attractive marine leisure area where both tourists and neighbors can make use of it.

An 8$\times$8+20-bit MAC is designed with low power design methodologies at each of the system design levels. At algorithm level, a new method for multipl $y_tract operation is proposed, and it saves the transistor counts over conventional methods in hardware realization. A new Booth selector circuit using NMOS pass-transistor logic is also proposed at circuit level. It is superior to other circuits designed by CMOS in power-delay-product. And at architecture level, we adopted an ELM adder that is known to be the most efficient in power consumption, operating frequency, area and design regularity as the final adder. For registers, dynamic CMOS single-edge triggered flip-flops are used because they need less transistors per bit. To increase the operating frequency 2-stage pipeline architecture is adopted, and fast 4:2 compressors are applied in Wallace tree block. As a simulation result, the designed MAC in 0.6${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ 1-poly 3-metal CMOS process is operated at 200MHz, 3.3V and consumed 35㎽ of power in multiply operation, and operated at 100MHz consuming 29㎽ in MAC operations, respectively.ly.
Two experiments were carried out in order to investigate the influence of Ring-Back-Tone(RBT) music on the evaluation of the phone-call receiver's personality in dimensions of Openness, Extroversion, and Neuroticism. In a preliminary experiment, the subjects listened to 17 RBT music stimuli in random order and assessed the personality associated with liking for each music using the 12 personality traits(N=15). Among the 17 RBTs, three were selected to be used in main experiment and they were distinguished from each other in terms of the tree personality dimensions(p<0.001). In main Experiment, it was hypothesized that the evaluation of phone-call receivers' personalities would be influenced by the personality of RBT music. Therefore, in the main experiment, the subjects were divided into four groups and each listened to one of the three RBTs or to a plain ringing tone(control group) until the receiver(the experimenter) answered the call. After interviewing the receiver, subjects evaluated her personality using the 12 traits. The empirical results provide evidence that the RBT influences the judgment of phone-call receiver's personality in terms of the three personality dimensions(p<0.001), supporting the hypothesis. In addition, it is found that there is a positive correlation between the personalities of RBT music and the phone-call receivers' personalities elaborating the affirmative result for the hypothesis(r=0.753, openness, p<0.01, r=0.753, extroversion, p<0.01; r=0.265, neuroticism).
The operation system of a shipping company is still maintaining the mainframe based terminal access environment or the client/server based environment. Nowadays shipping companies that try to migrate it into a web-based environment are increasing. However, in the transition, if the design is processed by the old configuration and knowledge without considering the characteristics of the web-based environment and shipping business, various security vulnerabilities will be revealed at the actual system operation stage, and system maintenance costs to fix them will increase significantly. Therefore, in the transition to a web-based environment, a security design must be carried out from the design stage to ensure system safety and to reduce security-related maintenance costs in the future. This paper examines the characteristics of various threat modeling techniques, selects suitable modeling technique for the operation system of a shipping company, applies data flow diagram and STRIDE threat modeling technique to shipping business, derives possible security threats from each component of the data flow diagram in the attacker's point of view, validates the derived threats by mapping them with attack library items, represents the attack tree having various attack scenarios that attackers can attempt to achieve their final goals, organizes into the checklist that has security check items, associated threats and security requirements, and finally presents 23 security requirements that can respond to threats. Unlike the existing general security requirements, the security requirements presented in this paper reflect the characteristics of shipping business because they are derived by analyzing the actual business of a shipping company and applying threat modeling technique. Therefore, I think that the presented security requirements will be of great help in the security design of shipping companies that are trying to proceed with the transition to a web-based environment in the future.
This study aims to identify geographical variations and factors that affect smoking rates. The data are collected from the Community Health Survey conducted between 2009 and 2011 by Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and other government organizations. Correlation and multiple regression analysis were used to examine the factors influencing smoking rates. For the purpose of investigating regional variations, we employed a decision tree model. The study has found that the significant factors associated with geographical variations in the smoking rates were the rate of hazardous drinking, the completion rate of hypertension education, the experience rate of anti-smoking campaigns, stress awareness rate, hypertension prevalence, health insurance cost, diabetes prevalence, obesity rate, and strength training rate. Convergence-based analysis on geographical variations of the smoking rates is highly important when the regionally customized healthcare programs is implemented. In the future, it is necessary to develop effective program and customized approach for the regions of high smoking rates. Our study is expected to be used as meaningful data for the design of effective health care programs and assessments to lead effective non-smoking program.

In this paper, we propose a new architecture of multiplier-and-accumulator (MAC) for high speed multiplication and accumulation arithmetic. By combining multiplication with accumulation and devising a hybrid type of carry save adder (CSA), the performance was improved. Since the accumulator which has the largest delay in MAC was removed and its function was included into CSA, the overall performance becomes to be elevated. The proposed CSA tree uses 1's complement-based radix-2 modified booth algorithm (MBA) and has the modified array for the sign extension in order to increase the bit density of operands. The CSA propagates the carries by the least significant bits of the partial products and generates the least significant bits in advance for decreasing the number of the input bits of the final adder. Also, the proposed MAC accumulates the intermediate results in the type of sum and carry bits not the output of the final adder for improving the performance by optimizing the efficiency of pipeline scheme. The proposed architecture was synthesized with $250{\mu}m,\;180{\mu}m,\;130{\mu}m$ and 90nm standard CMOS library after designing it. We analyzed the results such as hardware resource, delay, and pipeline which are based on the theoretical and experimental estimation. We used Sakurai's alpha power low for the delay modeling. The proposed MAC has the superior properties to the standard design in many ways and its performance is twice as much than the previous research in the similar clock frequency.

This study was carried out to determine the effects of shading and leaf mold treatment on growth characteristics and photosynthesis responses of Peucedanum japonicum in forest farming. It is very valuable as a sort of health food, so that the demand for the vegetable has increased recently. The experiment can not only increase the yield but also contribute to the development of eco-friendly technology for high-quality P. japonicum. It was performed by shading treatments (full sunlight, 35%, 50% and 75% shading) and leaf mold treatments (control, pine tree and chestnut tree). Height, stem diameter, root collar diameter, number of stem and dry weight were the highest in chestnut-leaf mold under full sunlight. Leaf area, leaf length and leaf width were the highest in chestnut-leaf mold under 35% shading. Photosynthetic rate, conductance to $H_2O$, transpiration rate and water use efficiency were the highest in chestnut-leaf mold under full sunlight. Specially, photosynthetic rate was higher under chestnut-leaf mold in all shading treatment, and getting lower in the higher shading rate. As a result of surveying the whole experiment, it is concluded that P. japonicum grows nicely by maintaining 35% shading under chestnutleaf mold in forest farming. Thus, it is the most effective way to increase the yield for high-quality P. japonicum with eco-friendly technology.

The Sensor Networks have limitations in utilizing energies, developing energy-efficient routing protocol and secure routing protocol are important issues in Sensor Network. In the field of data management, Tributaries and Deltas(TD) which incorporates tree topology and multi-path topology effectively have been suggested to provide efficiency and robustness in data aggregation. And our research rendered hierarchical property to TD and proposed Clustering-based Tributaries-Deltas. Through this new structure, we integrated efficiency and robustness of TD structure and advantages of hierarchical Sensor Network. Clustering-based Tributaries-Deltas was proven to perform better than TD in two situations through our research. The first is when a Base Station (BS) notices received information as wrong and requests the network's sensing data retransmission and aggregation. And the second is when the BS is mobile agent with mobility. In addition, we proposed key establishment mechanism proper for the newly proposed structure which resulted in new Sensor Network structure with improved security and energy efficiency as well. We demonstrated that the new mechanism is more energy-efficient than previous one by analyzing consumed amount of energy, and realized the mechanism on TmoteSKY sensor board using TinyOS 2.0. Through this we proved that the new mechanism could be actually utilized in network design.

Digital Multimedia Broadcasting(DMB) is a reliable multi-service system for reception by mobile and portable receivers. DMB system allows interference-free reception under the conditions of multipath propagation and transmission errors using COFDM modulation scheme, simultaneously, needs powerful channel error's correction ability. Viterbi Decoder for DMB receiver uses punctured convolutional code and needs lots of computations for real-time operation. So, it is desired to design a high speed and low-power hardware scheme for Viterbi decoder. This paper proposes a combined add-compare-select(ACS) and path metric normalization(PMN) unit for computation power. The proposed PMN architecture reduces the problem of the critical path by applying fixed value for selection algorithm due to the comparison tree which has a weak point from structure with the high-speed operation. The proposed ACS uses the decomposition and the pre-computation technique for reducing the complicated degree of the adder, the comparator and multiplexer. According to a simulation result, reduction of area $3.78\%$, power consumption $12.22\%$, maximum gate delay $23.80\%$ occurred from punctured viterbi decoder for DMB system.

This paper categorized the functions of and investigated the characteristics of planting in Pyeonghwa Park near the Seoul World Cup Stadium as a preliminary study for improving tree planting in the park. The functions of planting were deduced based on related theoretical studies and an analysis of the intention of design and environmental factors. The characteristics of planting were analyzed after drawing the distribution and stratification of dominant planting species and setting samples by function. The functions of planting were classified into natural landscape planting, buffer planting, and shade planting. For dominant planting species, pine trees and elm-like trees have been widely observed while various species in addition to pine trees in natural landscape planting areas have been introduced in terms of the function of planting. These trees that were randomly planted before the park was developed have been obstacles in the formation of natural landscapes. For buffer planting and topographical correction, tall trees were planted. However, it seems that comprehensive complementary measures should be taken on the under-story planting.
