소스코드의 보안성 메트릭 설계에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Design of Security Metrics for Source Code)

  • 소스코드의 정적분석 기술은 소스코드 자체에 내재된 취약성을 찾는데 활용되는 중요한 기술로 인식되고 있다. 본 논문은 정보시스템의 소스코드 보안성 수준을 평가하는 방법으로 정적분석 결과인 소스코드의 취약성 정보와 프로그램이 처리하는 정보의 중요도를 활용하는 평가 메트릭의 설계 및 활용을 소개한다. 소스코드 보안성 메트릭은 소스코드의 취약점 수준을 개발 과정에서 미리 파악할 수 있도록 도움을 준다는 측면에서 평가자와 개발자 모두가 활용할 수 있다. 특히 평가자는 보안 메트릭을 통해 소스코드의 성격과 요구되는 정보의 보안수준에 따라 소스코드의 보안 수준을 점검하며, 코드 검수에 활용할 수 있다.

  • Eddy current is usually generated in material with high conductivity by time-varying source such as AC current and also is induced in the moving source with relative velocity. The contactless magnetic brakes make use of the braking force from the eddy current generated by moving source and currently used for the secondary brakes of heavy trucks, buses and rail vehicles. This study aims to design the magnetization pattern of a permanent magnet type eddy current brake system to maximize the braking force. The analysis of the brake system is based on the two-dimensional finite element analysis. We use the sequential linear programming as the optimizer and the adjoint variable method for the sensitivity analysis.

Scientific and Engineering Applications of Full-field Swept-source Optical Coherence Tomography

  • We report the development of full-field swept-source optical coherence tomography (SS-OCT) in the wavelength range of 815-870 nm using a unique combination of super-luminescent diode (SLD) as broad-band light source and acousto-optic tunable filter (AOTF) as a frequency-scanning device. Some new applications of full-field SS-OCT in forensic sciences and engineering materials have been demonstrated. Results of simultaneous topography and tomography of latent fingerprints, silicon microelectronic circuits and composite materials are presented. The main advantages of the present system are completely non-mechanical scanning, wide-field, compact and low-cost.

Framing Trend and Style Information in Magazine

  • This study applies framing theory to the presentation of trend or styling information in fashion journalism. A qualitative content analysis was conducted with three lifestyle magazines. The findings include attribute, attitude, and source-based frames. The attribute-based frame was used to increase the versatility and feasibility of design by emphasizing particular attributes of clothes. To increase versatility, an item could be presented either as a basic or trendy design. To increase feasibility, fashion information could be customized by price points (i.e., affordable frame) or body type (i.e., flattering frame). The attitude-based frame includes prescriptive and rule-breaking frames. The source-based frame offers a source of trend or styling information. Expert, celebrity, and consumer frame emerged under the source-based frame. Findings reveal how fashion and style information is defined and crafted.

  • In this paper a 2.4GHz CMOS colpitts type microwave oscillator was designed and fabricated using H-spice and Cadence Spetre. There are 140MHz difference between the oscillation frequency and the resonance frequency of a tank circuit of the designed oscillator. The difference is seemed to be due to the parasitic component of the transistor. The inductors used in this design are the spiral inductors proposed in other papers. Cascode current source was used as a bias circuit of a oscillator and the output transistor of the current source is used as the oscillation transistor. A common drain buffer amplifier was used at the output of the oscillator. The measured oscillation frequency and output power of the oscillator are 2.173GHz and -5.53dBm.

  • A design method of a current source using 12-pulse phase-controlled rectifier (PCR) is presented. The critical inductance of the 12-pulse PCR is derived and it is shown that the critical inductance can be reduced using a current source. The control circuit of the 12-pulse PCR with an inner fast dynamic loop is proposed to give the frequency synchronism and to reduce the subharmonics due to the unbalance of the transformer of the power line. This circuit is analyzed and its dynamic loop is optimized. The optimal constant PIMF (proportional, integral and measurable variable feedback, and feedforware) controller is also designed using the time-weighted quadratic performance index. It is shown via experimental results that the proposed design method gives high dynamic and static performance of the current source using the 12-pulse PCR.

  • The automatic load transfer switch (ALTS) typically automatically transfers electrical loads from a normal electrical power source to an emergency electrical power source upon reduction or loss of normal power source voltage. It can also automatically re-transfer the load to the normal power source when the normal voltage has been restored within acceptable limits. The transfer operation of ALTS is accomplished by a spring-driven linkage mechanism. In this paper we build a dynamic model of driving mechanism for ALTS using ADAMS and checked the characteristics of the transfer operation. Finally we performed a detailed design of the driving mechanism through results of analysis and confirmed it to satisfy design requirements.

  • 본 연구에서는 기존의 SCFL(Source Coupled FET Logic)회로보다 고속 저전력 특성을 지닌 회로를 설계하였다. 설계된 SCFL을 이용하여 4:1 병렬 A/D 컨버터를 구성, 시뮬레이션 한 결과 비교기(Comparator 혹은 양자화기)는 66MHz 입력신호와 2GHz 샘플링 주파수에서 Integral Nonlinearity는 $\pm$28mV로 한계치 $\pm$68mV 보다 훨씬 작으며, ADC 설계시 150여개의 소자를 줄여 전력소비 0.43mW를 실현케 하였다.

Diffractive Optical Element for Noise-reduced Beam Shaping of Multi-array Point Light Source

  • An arrayed diffractive optical element design for the beam-shaping of a multi-array light source is proposed. This is an essential device for recent optical security and face recognition applications. In practice, we devise a DC noise reduction technique featuring high fabrication error tolerance regarding the multi-array light source diffractive optical elements, as a necessary part of the proposed design method. The spherical diverging illumination leads to DC-conjugate noise spreading. The main idea is tested experimentally, and the multi-array light source diffraction pattern is investigated numerically.

  • Induction heating can convert electrical energy to thermal energy with high conversion efficiency and quick heating. Currently, a current source rectifier/inverter-fed parallel resonant circuit is widely used as an induction heating power supply for forging applications. However, the conventional induction heating power supplies composed of phase-controlled rectifier and SCR inverter have low efficiency and low power factor at input side, and require additional starting circuitry. So this paper proposes new induction heating power supply topologies for forging applications which have high power factor, high efficiency, and large output power. It also suggests detailed design guideline.
