공학자의 문제해결능력 향상을 위한 실험계획 및 분석을 적용한 교육과정의 설계 -기계공학계열의 학과를 중심으로- (A Design of Curriculum Considered Experimental Design & Analysis for Enhancing Engineer's Problem-Solving Ability)

  • 복합.융합화 능력을 겸비한 인재를 양성해야 하는 시대적 요구에 부응하여 공학자의 창의적 문제해결 능력 함양은 공학교육의 중요한 새로운 교육목표이다. 이 연구는 공학교육에 있어 실험계획 및 분석을 고려한 교육과정이 창의적 문제해결 능력을 뒷받침 할 수 있는 중요한 요소임을 지적하고 이것을 효과적으로 도입할 수 있는 교육과정의 설계에 그 목적을 두고 있다. 이를 위하여, 먼저 실험계획 및 분석의 교육주제에서 기대되는 학습 성과와 공학자의 기본적인 공학능력과의 연관성을 알아보았다. 그리고 전통적으로 산업에서 큰 비중을 차지하고 있는 기계공학계열학과의 현재 공학 교육과정에서 운영중인 실험계획 및 분석의 교육내용에 대한 현황을 조사하였고, 또한 해당 공학 전문가들의 주요 활동분야들 중의 하나인 연구논문의 작성에서 나타난 실험계획 및 분석에 관련된 지식의 활용 실태를 분석하였다. 마지막으로, 이러한 실증적 사례를 근거로 공학자의 기본 자질인 창의적 문제해결 능력 향상을 위한 하나의 수단으로서 효과적인 실험계획 및 분석의 교과를 도입한 공학교육 과정의 모듈을 개발하였다.

A Study on Analysis of Curriculum for Maker Education using 3D Printer at Elementary School Classroom

  • The advent of the 4th industrial revolution made the importance of software education to be emphasized, and thus, the Maker Education is attracting attention. This paper analyzes the curriculum to find contents suitable for Maker Education and proposes a workbook design using the results. The curriculum analysis data and workbook examples are expected to contribute to design elementary school curriculum for Maker Education using 3D printer. The workbook-based creative Making activities are, in addition, also expected to improve the computational thinking ability and to provide the insufficient instruction hours of SW education with an expandability.

사회적 지표에 나타난 학생의 모습이 국가 교육과정 설계에 주는 시사점: 보건교육 강화를 중심으로 (Study on the Students' Life Reflected in Social Indices and Its Implications for National Curriculum Design Focusing on School Health Education)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to provide implications for National Curriculum design for elementary and secondary school, by analyzing social indices of students' real life based on Oliva's three types of demand for education. Three types of demand are physical, social-psychological and educational demand. Methods: This study mainly analyzed recent research data and existing studies relevant to social indices to show students' real life. Results: Three types of social indices about educational demand showed that students have many difficulties in much learning time, lacking in sleeping time and physical activities, much stress and suicide attempt. It is supposed that learning and academic achievement is the main factor to make such kind of stress. Conclusion: Health & safety education, self-esteem inspiring education, reduction of learning burden, physical activities etc are needed to be more reflected in National Curriculum design in the future.

BIM도구를 이용한 건축설계 교육방법 연구 (The Study of Architectural Design Education method on BIM tools)

  • The purpose of this study is to propose an integrated curriculum for architectural studio in university to implement BIM process. There have been several BIM education methods occurred in school, but most of them are not successive courses but independent events. To integrate BIM into architectural curriculum successfully, it needs continuous and gradual approach. This study is proceeded by the research of precedent and analysis of key factors in foreign school program. Also fundamental objectives of the current domestic architectural curriculum are categorized to match the BIM process and functionality. As a result of this study, the new architectural design education process integrated with milestone of BIM tool is proposed.

플립러닝과 디자인씽킹을 적용한 건축공학종합설계 교육과정 개발 (Development of Capstone Design Curriculum in Architectural Engineering that Applies Flipped Learning and Design Thinking)

  • In the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, a new curriculum that breaks away from the existing education programs is needed to cultivate men of talent for this new industrial era. In this regard, this study aimed to develop innovative curriculums that can be applied to the capstone design of architectural engineering at universities in Korea. To this end, it analyzed the operational status of the capstone design curriculum of domestic universities that operate engineering certification education programs. In addition, it examined educational innovation cases of advanced universities at home and abroad, and analyzed other studies related to educational renovation. Based on the analysis results, it developed the capstone design curriculum of architectural engineering that can be applied to domestic universities. The curriculum was developed into two contents: operating method and syllabus. The method which has been commonly applied to domestic universities was adopted as the operating method. The syllabus was developed by applying flipped learning and design thinking theory, which has widely been dealt with in advanced universities and recent studies. In addition, the curriculum was developed in the form of a prototype to meet the conditions of each university for its efficient utilization.

공학교육인증평가가 교육과정에 미친 영향 연구 (A Study on the Effects of Accreditation on Curriculum in Engineering Education)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of accreditation on curriculum in Korean engineering education. To analyze the curriculum, bulletins of three colleges accredited programs and three colleges non-accredited programs from 2002 to 2010 were compared. The conclusions of this study are as follows. First, the accreditation for engineering education has a considerable influence on curriculum by strengthening the concentration areas, setting general education directions to fit engineering needs, and reinforcing major and MSC(math, science and computer) subjects. Secondly, the accreditation for engineering education causes significant changes in the educational objectives and contents. Lastly, it has an indirect influence on the curricula of non-accredited programs, such as increasing the number of MSC credits and accepting engineering design courses. Thus, the process of curriculum improvement is revealed in more global standardized engineering curricula.

  • The purpose of this study is to discuss the issues and problems of interior design education in Korea and to further present guidelines for curriculum development and research on interior design education in Korea for the 21st Century. Content analysis and scholastic inquiry from various sources were used to examine the issues concerning 1) professional identity, 2) curriculum structure, and 3) creative scholarship including interdisciplinary approach. Identification of these issues presented in this study will allow interior design educators to help prepare interior design students who are qualified to lead the profession in the future.

국내 실내건축 관련학과의 컴퓨터 교육현황에 관한 연구 - 4년제 대학교와 2년제 대학의 교과편성 비교를 중심으로 - (A Study on Present States of Computer Education in Interior Design Dept. - Focus on Comparison between Curriculum of University and that of Junior College -)

  • This study is aimed to analyze present states of computer education in interior design dept. and therefore to offer basic data in order to establish middle and long term plan on computer education. According to results of analysis, computer education course accounts for 10.1 percent in total curriculum. But this component ratio has great difference between university and jumopr college. Namely computer education course of college is much more weighter than that of university. It seems to be results from college's characteristic strategies. But this results to unsuitable curriculum allocation. To solve this problem, further examination of linking computer's course with drafting and drawing course should be required. And to heighten more effect of computer education, other circumstance as well as educational facility should be improved and common CAD laboratory should be produced.

Mathematics Curriculum Reform and Power: A Case Study

  • Mathematics curriculum reform is very important, and it can be understood well by power. This paper uses the extended Foucault's power theory as foundations to view mathematics curriculum reform. The research's case is China's ongoing mathematics curriculum reform. Through analyzing the power relationships in China's ongoing mathematics curriculum reform, the paper thinks that power's balance is very important in mathematics curriculum design, because it will affect the designed curriculum.

디자인 교과과정에서의 데이터 문해력 교육에 관한 연구 -디자인-데이터 융합 교과 개발 사례를 중심으로 (Data Literacy Education in Design Curriculum of Higher Education Focused on Development of Design-Data Convergence Curriculum)

  • 본 연구는 향후 디자이너의 업무 역량에 매우 중대한 역할을 하게 될 데이터 문해력 확보를 위하여 디자인 대학 교과과정에서의 데이터 문해력 관련 교육목표와 교과 구성, 교육 내용을 연구하였다. 연구의 방법은 먼저 비전공자를 위한 데이터 문해력 교육의 사례들과 디자인 실무 현장의 데이터 기술 활용 현황을 살펴보았고, 현장 직무 중심 디자인 역량에 대한 선행 연구와 디자인 프로세스 모델을 바탕으로 디자인 분야에서 요구되는 데이터 관련 전공 능력을 도출하였다. 그리고 NCS에 기반한 빅데이터 기획과 분석 분야의 교육 내용을 조사하여, 디자인 전공 능력에 필요한 데이터 기술 관련 교과 내용을 연계하여 디자이너를 위한 데이터 문해력 교육 모듈을 3단계의 디자인-데이터 융합 교과 모델로 구성하였다. 개발된 융합 교과 모델을 바탕으로 필요한 단위 교과목과 강의 계획, 과목 간 연계 구조를 개발하였으며, 초, 중급 수준의 디자인-데이터 융합 교과목을 운영한 사례 연구를 통하여 교육모델의 교육 내용과 교육 성과를 검증하였다. 그리고 교과 운영 사례 연구의 발견 점들을 바탕으로 디자이너를 위한 데이터 문해력 교육의 구체적 실천 방안을 제시하고, 사례 연구의 한계를 명시하였다.
