A Study on Curriculum and Teaching method for the Dept. of Fashion Design in College (전문대학 패션디자인과의 교육과정 및 교수방법 개선방안에 관한 연구)

  • This study was conducted to provide the basic data for the fashion education of college. 529 students of fashion department of colleges in Taegu responded to this survey. The result could be summarized as follows: 1. The major fields were classified as clothing fabric-science clothing ornaments fabric processing design fashion marketing fashion information formative culture history and Internship in order. 2. Interviewees responded that the advanced education of major is necessary(94.5%) and not necessary(4.3%) 3. When it comes to getting a job in major-related area over half of them said 'yes'(57.0%) and 35.1% of them resoned 'No(35.1%) 4. as for the necessity of the liasion education with high school the affirmative answer (45.2%) was slightly superior to the opposite(43.7%) in number. 5, With regard to the problem of teaching method they pointed out that there is some tendency to imphasize going on syllabus itself rather than developing student's ability(39.7%) that assignments are too demanding(18.1%) and that the general training should focus on a practical help(17.2%)

A Research of Nozzle Spray System of Vertical Type Etcher (수직형 식각 장비의 노즐 분사 시스템에 대한 연구)

  • The recent PCB (Printed Circuit Board) wet etcher has been needed to process pattern within $20{\mu}m$ width on a $20{\mu}m$ thick board. A previous PCB etcher can be used with multiple points of roller rolls or slips off a board. Also, the damage of the board by contacting the roller increases the friction defects. A vertical type boards transporting process is developed to solve the problems of boards friction and sagging in a horizontal etcher. In this research, CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) method is used to design an improved spray nozzle including the critical part of etcher, and establish the design method. Meanwhile, major spray characteristics are expected in diverse nozzle types and variables. Lastly, diverse simulation results are adapted to design an improved nozzle and spray system.

A Learning Effect and Instructional Method Design based on various Instructional Method for Computer Basic Concepts in Elementary Schools (다양한 교수방법을 기반으로 한 초등 컴퓨터 기초 개념에 대한 교수방법 설계 및 학습 효과)

  • Presently, elementary school students take coercive action in case error or fault happens while they are using computers. These action are caused by lack of comprehension about basic computer concepts. In this paper, we propose an instructional method for basic computer concepts based on various instructional method. To estimate the effect of proposed method, a class over 16 phases is performed. We show that a effect of class and necessity of development of instructional learning method for basic computer concepts education in elementary schools on the basis of result that analyze reaction of students after class.

  • We need education program and contents that satisfy on-off line's education maximize an initiative spirit development in an absence of UI design for infants and elementary students. For the multiplicity of inflection of these initiative spirit development education program, we need development of contents and teaching materials(Cre-kids) that can educate both in on-line and in off-line. Cre-kids are divided of four areas that are increased fluency, flexibility, originality and delicacy. Four areas are ideas of language, visual, making and computer. Through each area, we can develop children's systematic modeling idea ability. And we divide of fluency, flexibility, originality and delicacy each four areas and evaluate each aspect and mark for index. That is CDQ(Creativity Design Quotient). Through the evaluation result, we will be able to study about a modeling initiative spirit index.

  • In this paper, we developed the cyber campus which is a internet based virtual education system. This system is designed by using the client/server architecture and server push mechanism. The basic design tool is mini SQL and PERL for design and implementation. Developed system is tested on the site of Honam university(cybercam.honam.ac.kr) and confirmed its performance. This tool will be very useful as a distance education method for every school and educational agency under the internet environment.

  • The real-time video education is used as an effective method of operating classes that replaces face-to-face education of instructors and learners in remote areas. However, the existing video call and video conferences system is mainly used, and this is effective in linguistic education because it focuses on lecture through video, but it is not utilized in other education. In this paper, we propose a design model of real-time video system that can improve the effectiveness of science curriculum and mathematics education by providing the functions that can be utilized during class by improving limitations of image - oriented image education.

  • With the active usage of digital media, the importance of and the interest in User Interface (UI)/User Experience (UX) have been increasing. This study proposes the development of design evaluation model to utilize the quality analysis model as a basis if there were to be a development of mobile education application. Main factors of the design evaluation model, which is based on User Value analysis, influence users' attitudes and intentions in continuing their uses of a mobile education application. The employment of the design evaluation factors onto the existing agile method's development stage, therefore, would provide an optimal UX environment for the application. This application not only will increase the satisfactions of consumers, but also will have positive impacts on their intentions in continuing their uses of a mobile education application.

  • This study is to design Flipped Learning classrooms of learner-centered education on the pre-service math teachers education. The study aims to explore the feasibility of teaching and learning method. To achieve the objectives of the study was to explore the teaching and learning model. Flipped learing classroom design includes a main step of a typical process of teaching system. And we designed the model based on the ADDIE Model. This model contains the design steps and the Flipped learning component of the teaching and learning design model. Designed classroom presented in three steps that are before classroom, during classroom and after classroom.

Effects of Discussion Centered AIDS Education on Knowledge, Prejudice, Social Interaction, and Intention for Prevention in College Students (토론식 AIDS 교육이 대학생의 AIDS 관련 지식, 편견, 사회적 상호작용 및 예방의도에 미치는 효과)

  • Purpose: The purposes of the study were to determine the effects of AIDS education which includes discussion on knowledge, prejudice, social interaction, and intention for AIDS prevention in college students. Method: A convenience sampling method was used to collect data, and 136 university students participated in the study. One group pretest-post test design was used and questionnaire for measuring knowledge about AIDS and attitude to AIDS were administered before and after 100 minutes of AIDS education, The education program consisted of a 50-minute lecture with video aids and 50 minutes of small group discussion. Means, SD, and paired t-test with the SPSS program were used to analyze the data. Results: There were significant increases in knowledge(p= .000) and social interaction(p= .002) after the education, but no significant changes in prejudice(p= .832) nor in intention for AIDS prevention(p= .074). Conclusion: AIDS education including discussion was found to be an effective method for improving knowledge and social interaction of college students. The results suggest that education which includes discussion sessions should be used with college students to improve social interaction with people who are HIV positive and enhance knowledge about AIDS.
