모바일 기기의 사용자 인터페이스 설계 도구로서 Trajectory Mapping 방법에 관한 연구 (A Study of Trajectory Mapping Method as a User Interface Design Tool for Mobile Devices)

  • In mobile device's user interface, menu organization is very important as well as menu structure because small display of mobile device. Menu items should be organized based on user knowledge structure to design user-centered interface. Traditionally, MDS (Multidimensional Scaling) have been most often used to expose users' perceived organization of menu items. But, information that MDS reveals is just relative spatial location of concepts and not relevant to concepts connection. Unlike MDS, Trajectory Mapping explicitly finds users' cognitive links between perceived concepts. This study proposes a Trajectory Mapping technique for eliciting knowledge structure, especially a set of cognitive pathways linking menu items, from end user. With twelve participants, MDS and Trajectory Mapping were conducted using cellular phone's menu items. And user knowledge structure was analyzed through Visual Concept Map that combination of results of MDS and Trajectory Mapping. After then, menu items were organized according to users' perceived organization. Empirical usability test was also conducted. The results of usability test showed that usability, in terms of task performance time, number of errors, and satisfaction, for newly organized interface was significantly improved compare to original interface. The methodology of this study is expected to be applicable to design a user-centered interface. In other words, Trajectory Mapping technique can be used as a design tool of user interface for imposing user knowledge structure on the interface.

수퍼요트의 공간배치와 실내공간구획에 관한 연구 (A Study on Space Arrangement and Interior Space Division of Superyachts)

  • Superyachts are passenger vessels whose hull exceeds 24m. They are a kind of luxurious leisure ships. Interior designers can contribute in the field of space design of superyachts. This study is intended to investigate the space elements and their organization of superyachts for putting the base of superyachts interior design. Especially it is focused on the interior space division by structural elements such as the watertight bulkheads and decks. In this study we analyze general arrangements, floor plans of decks, of 31 superyachts and extract space elements and their disposition in three dimension. On the basis of the space arrangement we classify the types of space organization of superyachts. And then we inquire the interior space division of superyachts, which is characterized by the structural elements of the ship. The watertight compartments made by the bulkheads and decks have a great effect on interior space design in super yachts. The results of this study are summed up as follows: At first, the small-size superyacht has 3 decks and the midium or large-size superyachts has 4decks. Secondly, depending on the number of decks the superyachts has several typical patterns of space organization. Thirdly, in general there are 5-6 watertight compartments on a deck depending on the superyachts scale. Finally, there are distinct separation between the passenger's movement and the crew's movement on the ship.

K공사의 IT 조직 재설계 사례 (K Public Corporation's IT Organization Redesign Case)

  • IT 조직은 비즈니스 및 기술의 변화에 대응하기 위해 끊임없이 변화를 요구받고 있으나, 이러한 변화 수용을 위한 IT 조직 재설계에 관한 현실적인 방법론이나 가이드라인은 부족한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 최근 IT 조직을 근본적으로 재설계한 K공사 사례를 중심으로 하여 IT 조직의 재설계 방법 및 절차에 대해 살펴보았다. 본 연구의 사례 대상기업인 K공사에서는 IT 조직 재설계를 위해 직무분석을 통한 IT 조직의 To-Be 모형을 설계하였으며, 이를 바탕으로 직무 재설계를 실시하여, K공사의 IT 조직 및 인원을 산정하였다. 1) 직무분석에서는 핵심업무를 도출하여 96개의 표준 업무(Task)를 도출하였고 2) To-Be 조직 설계를 통해 IT 지원팀, IT 개발팀, IT 운영팀 등 3개 팀과 부경 및 제주발매팀 등 지역 2개팀으로 구분하였다. 3) 직무 재설계를 통해 기존의 직무체계를 재구성하였으며, IT 조직 인원을 FTE를 활용하여 산정한 후 내부 검토를 걸쳐 최종적으로 확정하였다. 이를 통해 IT공사는 운영중심의 IT 업무를 축소하고 대신 IT 기획업무를 강화하였으며, 타사 대비 낮은 수준의 IT 관리 프로세스를 개선하였고, IT 아웃소싱 관리체계 향상과 함께 IT 사용자의 만족도를 개선시켰다. 본 연구는 IT 조직을 어떠한 방식과 과정을 통해 재설계해야하는지에 대해 고민하는 많은 기업들에게 현실적인 시사점을 줄 수 있을 것이다.

국내 건설환경 변화에 따른 수주조직구조 설계에 관한 연구 (A Study On the Design for Marketing Divisions of Construction Companies in relations to the Changes of Domestic Business Environment)

  • 최근 급속한 국내 건설환경의 변화속에서 기업은 구조개성을 포함한 다양한 변화를 추구하고 있으나, 이러한 노력이 경영 이익 증대까지 이어지지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 이러한 현상의 주요 원인 중 하나는 수주와 관련된 내 $\cdot$ 외부 환경변화를 기업의 경영전략과 조직구조에 반영하여 변화에 적응하고 더불어 수주성과를 극대화하기 위한 다양한 변화노력의 틀 속에서 진행되어야 함에도 불구하고 이와 같은 접근이 이루어지지 못하고 있기 때문이다. 특히 급변하는 환경에서 기업의 경영이익을 좌우하는 수주활동과 관련된 조직의 설계는 전반적 인 건설경기동향, 공공 및 민간의 발주 동향 등을 고려한 전략적이고 유연한 접근이 필요하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 수주환경 변화에 따른 수주조직을 전략적으로 설계할 수 있도록 환경변화와 경영성과측면의 관계를 규명하여 이를 대형건설업체의 사업유형 및 발주유형별 수주조직 설계에 반영할 수 있도록 모형과 절차를 제시하였다.

  • 최근 빠른 기술과 시장의 변화에 대응하여, 기업의 생존과 성장을 위한 동태적 역량의 하나로 기업의 양면성 조직 특성에 대한 중요성이 강조되고 있다. 빠른 환경변화에도 불구하고 지속적으로 높은 성과를 보이고 있는 기업은 신제품 기술개발역량 측면에서 기존 제품의 점진적 혁신을 통한 활용적 역량과 함께 새로운 시장 및 기술에 대한 탐험적 역량 둘 모두를 구축하고 균형을 갖는 양면성 조직의 특성을 갖는다. 본 연구는 기술혁신 중소기업이 양면성 조직을 구축 및 운영하는 이유와 방법, 기업의 생존과 성과에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 외부 환경변화에 따른 기업의 내부적 기술혁신전략과 기업성장단계가 양면성 조직 특성과 성과에 영향을 미친다. 양면성 조직 특성은 구조, 맥락, 리더십 관점으로 접근하였으며, 연구 분석을 위해 제품의 산업적 특성을 달리하는 3개 중소기업에 대해 다중사례분석을 수행하였다. 종단적 분석을 통해, 제품의 산업적 특성과 환경 변화에 대응하는 기업의 기술혁신전략 유형에 따라 양면성 조직의 구축 및 운영의 해법이 다르며, 구조, 맥락, 리더십 관점의 양면성 조직 특성이 상호 보완적으로 작용하였다. 또한, 양면성 조직 특성이 중소기업의 생존과 성과에 중요한 특성임을 확인하였다.

Organizational Effectiveness of Korean Information and Communication Industry Employees : Focus on Organization Culture, Job Satisfaction, Organizational Commitment and Turnover Intention

  • Purpose- The purpose of this study is to give implications on how to decrease employee turnover intention of Korean information and communication industry employees using organization culture, job satisfaction and organizational commitment. To do that this study analyzes relationships among variables and analyses mediating effect of job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Research design, data, and methodology- To analyze relationships among organization culture, job satisfaction, organizational commitment and turnover intention of employees, this study used the 7th KRIVET's HCCP employee data especially employees working in the information and communication industry who has more than university degree education. The analysis is conducted by using SPSS 21 and frequency analysis correlation analysis, regression analysis and mediating effect are analyzed by using MACRO PROCESS procedure for SPSS. Result- According to the empirical results, organization culture of innovation, relation and rational directed significantly affect both job satisfaction and organizational commitment. And job satisfaction and organizational commitment significantly affect each other. Turnover intention is significantly affected by job satisfaction, organizational commitment, innovation directed and hierarchy directed. However, the influence of innovation and hierarchy showed conflicting results. Conclusion- Based on this study result, implications to manage the turnover intention of Korean employees in the information and communication industry are discussed. Especially, the effect of organization culture, job satisfaction and organizational commitment is discussed. And the mediating role of job satisfaction and organizational commitment is also analyzed. Result implicates that cautious approach is needed in managing organization culture to employee attitude of job and organization is needed

전시디자인의 공간분화와 Remodeling 방법에 관한 연구 -박물관 환경디자인에 관한 기초적 연구(6)- (A Study on the Spatial differentiation and Remodeling Method of museum Exhibition Design - A basic Study on the Environmental Design of Museum(6)-)

  • The purpose of this study is to clarify the relationship between the exhibits layout and the spatial organization in exhibition spaces. As an analytical method, the space syntax theory devised by Bill Hillier(1984) was applied for analysing the potential differentiation of exhibition spaces and remodeling method in Seoul City Museum selected for case study. The results are as following. Especially from the convex analysis, axial analysis and exhibits(interpretation); 1) the closed spatial system(1F) has high visibility and high intelligibility in hall area but lacks route continuity, 2) the circulated spatial system(2F) has low global visibility but offers high intelligibility and connectivity due to its coercive circulation, 3) and the organization of exhibition design consists in differentiating space that reintegrates them into another spatial order. Therefore, there process are expected to provide a methodological framework for analysing and interpreting spatial organizations of design, leading to the clear explanation of remodeling.

  • The organizational theory and design in future encourages us to bring a fluid perspective to the problems and challenges face. Organizational structure, strategy, management style, teamwork, organizational change, and even products and services can be vitalized and re-formed through creative images that allow us to act in new ways. Leaders and educators sat all levels must gain comfort in dealing with the insights and implications of diverse perspectives. In a leadership paradigm in action, leaders and educators who have more flexibility and willingness to create a learning organization are successful in improving productivity and student empowerment. The key element to organizational structure and changes for interior design education becomes communications. Finally, we need to recognize that despite its roots in mechanistic thinking, organization is a creative process of imagination. We organize as we imagine, and it is always possible to imagine in new ways.

게슈탈트 이론에 의한 패션광고 효과에 관한 연구 (A Study on the effect of Fashion Ads based on the Theory of Gestalt Psychology)

  • Gestalt psychology is a theory of psychology to organize separate stimuli perceived by people's vision to incorporate them into significant types, and this also is applied in terms of the brand awareness of consumers. This study considered which influence the Gestalt psychology theories have upon the fashion consumers' information processing in fashion advertisement. The results are as follows. The principles of the totality and the perceptual organization in the Gestalt psychology are allowing fashion consumers to perceive information through advertisement and to be capable of understanding it a little more easily and clearly in the process. As for the principle of totality, an integrated Gestalt was formed by combining the stimulant elements of fashion ads and the brand schema of consumers. The principles of figure and background that were part of the perceptual organization theory enabled the consumers to pay attention to, choose and focus on some of the objects of perception in an easier and faster way. The principle of perceptual grouping was used to draw attention from the consumers by simplifying the objects of perception and then by combining them or making them look complete. Therefore the more advanced application of the principles and laws of Gestalt psychology is expected to make fashion consumers' way of looking at ads more well balanced and positive in a more efficient and convincing manner.
