This paper presents the design of reinforced concrete combined footings of trapezoidal form subjected to axial load and moments in two directions to each column using a new model to consider soil real pressure acting on the contact surface of the footing; such pressure is presented in terms of an axial load, moment around the axis "X" and moment around the axis "Y" to each column. The classical model considers an axial load and moment around the axis "X" (transverse axis) applied to each column, and when the moments in two directions are taken into account, the maximum pressure throughout the contact surface of the footing is considered the same. The main part of this research is that the proposed model considers soil real pressure and the classical model takes into account the maximum pressure, and also is considered uniform. We conclude that the proposed model is more suited to the real conditions and is more economical.

XML and CORBA have vast potential to improve software interoperability and to facilitate data exchange across applications and people from various disciplines and vendors. This Paper describes a framework for the integration and validity evaluation of injection mold design problems in a network-oriented design environment, based on In and CORBA. An overview of the framework is provided and an application to a design phase of injection mold is illustrated. The example illustrates how design validities are notified and design directions are provided to the designer during design process.

The problem should be approached in terms of recovering essential functions of technical high school and identification to supply stable and quality human resources in technical sector. An adequate space programming for technical high school is needed to educate effective skills and techniques. Considering the education directions of vocational high school, the article covers principals of technical school's construction plan and directions and, based on this, suggest the way of estimating the scale in construction plan of technical school. Through this research, systematic and reasonable space planning can be possible. The range of this research is based on development directions of society and education and an objective standard in a newly reformed the 7th Stage of Education. In addition, the research is limited to technical high school among kinds of vocational high school. The purpose is to redefine the role of technical school that face identification crisis currently, comparing to the past, and to suggest a more effective space planning. The research limits the space to classes for specialized subjects, a core space for education in technical school among diverse spaces.

A force/torque sensor using carbon fiber plate was designed and developed to make the sensor be able to measure a wide range of multi degree of force and torque. Using carbon fiber plate of 0.3 mm thickness, the sensor was designed and developed, which has a ${\mu}N$ level order of resolution and about 0.01 N ~ 390 N of wide measurement range. The elastic deformation part has a tripod plate structure and strain gauges are attached on the part to detect the force/torque. The coefficient of determination for the sensor is over 0.955 by the calibration experiment so that the linearity of the sensor is confirmed to be good. Also, experiments on applying 0.005 ~ 40 kg (0.05 ~ 390 N) to each axis were implemented and the sensor is proved to be safe under a high load. Finally, to verify the function calculating the direction of load vector, the directions of various load vectors which have the same magnitude but different directions and the directions of the calculated load vectors are compared and analyzed to accord well.
Several piping material test methods have been developed as a result of advances in elastic-plastic fracture mechanics. It's known that, crack propagation of the materials strongly governed by the $J_{Ic}$ value. But the value is still difficult to be obtained because of it's complicate and troble-some determination process. In this paper, to prove the validity of the developed test procedure a series of tests were peformed at various temperatures and for different material directions. directions.
School electricity facility is different to general electricity facility because use of immature students. But it was design, construct, manage of general electricity facility law realistically In this study, investigate the recent electrical accident data of school and the present status of electricity facility in Chonan. And grope for future directions of school electricity facility.

Purpose: It was investigated whether two different stabilization designs of toric contact lenses changed the rotational axis and degree of toric lenses according to body posture and gaze direction in the present study. Methods: Toric soft contact lenses with Lo-Torque$^{TM}$ design and ASD design (accelerated stabilized design) were fitted on 52 eyes aged in 20s-30s. Then, rotational degree was measured at the five gaze directions including front gaze and the lying position. Results: When gazing the front and vertical directions in the upright posture, lens was much rotated to nasal side for the Lo-Torque$^{TM}$ design and temporal side for the ASD design. When gazing horizontal direction, both design lenses were rotated against to the gaze direction. Rotation degree was the smallest at superior direction gaze and the largest at nasal gaze. In case of the rotation degree less than $5^{\circ}$, Lo-Torque$^{TM}$ design was more frequent when gazing front and vertical directions, and ASD design was more frequent when gazing horizontal direction. In addition, the lens with Lo-Torque$^{TM}$ design was lesser rotation degree than with ASD design immediately after lying. On the other hand, the lens with ASD design was lesser rotation degree than with Lo-Torque$^{TM}$ design 1 minute later after lying. Conclusions: This study confirmed that axis rotation of the lens induced by gaze direction and posture was different according to axis stabilization design during wearing toric soft contact lens.
For determination of the design wave, a method of estimating the design wind speed at sea from the wind records at the nearby weather stations on land is proposed. Along the West Coast, the design wind speed are shown to have two main directions; namely, N through W, and WSW through S. Through the analysis of weather maps, fetches for the main wind directions along the West Coast are determined. The wind speeds at sea are found to have 0.8~0.9 times the wind speed at the stations on land for U$\geq$20m/s. The West Coast may be divided into three regions for which fetches are determind uniquely. Design waves with return period of 100 years are determined by the revised S.M..B. method along the West Coast, and show the deep water significant wave heights of 4.4~8.3 meters with wave periods of 8.9~12.0 seconds.
Recently, with the market of smart phones slowing down, more attention is paid to wearable devices. It was suggested that 2013 was the "year of the smart watch", due to that the majority of major consumer electronics manufacturers were undertaking work on a smart watch device. However there are still many issues on the interaction and interface design of smart watches. This study reviewed related literatures and evaluated the interaction methods, interface and content design of current smart watches. Based on that, future research directions were proposed. The research results have significant meanings for the guidance of future directions of smart watch.
