톰 브라운의 컬렉션에 나타난 패러디 (Parody Expressed in Thom Browne's Collection)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the concept and characteristics of parody, and consider how parody was reflected in Thom Browne's collection centering on the expressive method. Thus, this study will attempt to shed new light on the creative possibility and artistic value of parody in men's fashion design. The methods are as follows. The ideas, characteristics and expressive methods that represent parody was considered by referencing various related books, papers, art critiques, etc. Based on this theoretical study, a case of Thom Browne's collection (Thom Browne menswear: 2004 S/S-2012 F/W) was observed to find types of parody, attributes and significance. Photo material was collected through websites such as www.thombrowne.com, www.style.com, etc. The type and characteristics of parody expressed in Thom Browne's collection was considered in the following aspects: imitative parody, critical parody and pastiche parody. Through such consideration, it was possible to realize the fashion designs that adapt Thom Browne's parody are very deliberate and calculative. The designs convey exaggeration, destruction of form, emphasis on discontinuity, transition into attraction, aesthetics of unfamiliarity, characteristic aspects of irrationality and contradiction. Through the study, it was possible to see Thom Browne's collection with parody adaptation shaping new creativity and broadening formative aspects in fashion design.

자연사박물관의 체험형 전시에 대한 관람객의 행태특성 (Visitor's Behavioral Characteristics for the Experiential Exhibition)

  • The purpose of this research is to improve exhibition effectiveness by implementing hands-on exhibition technique that best provides adults with cultural resting place and children with outdoor education which simply supports school curriculum. By completing this research, the museum of natural history will become defined innovative as a place that enables people actively develop creativity For this sake, some of domestic natural science museums were selected as the samples in this study, such as Seodaemun of Natural History, Incheon Standing Science Pavilion and Daejeon National Science Museum, Which all produce experience-based exhibition in relatively brisk manner. First of all, this study attempted to identify the traffic line and behavioral characteristics of spectators who used experience-oriented exhibition through follow-up and observational study Then it divided samples into adults and children group to compare and analyze the ratio of using exhibitions, the ratio of spectators and the sojourn time according to the type of experience-oriented exhibitions. In addition, this study attempted to collect available data about spectators who were in conversation with one another on the other hand, it also attempted to determine any effects on using experience-based exhibition by performing a questionnaire survey, so that it might set up an index for behavioral characteristics the spectators who visit such exhibition.

애니메이션의 하위 텍스트로서의 음향의 연상 작용과 역할에 관한 연구 (A Study on Rolls for the Association of Sound as Subtext for Animation)

  • 애니메이션은 시각적 요소(visual element)와 청각적 요소(audio element)로 구성된다. 청각적 요소인 음향(sound)에는 대사(dialogue)와 음향효과(sound effects)와 음악이 있다. 애니메이션에서 청각적 요소는 시각적 요소의 부가적인 위치를 점한다고 하나 결코 그 역할과 의미는 적지 않다. 본 연구는 애니메이션의 이론적 기틀을 마련하여 단순히 오락물로써만이 아니라 예술작품으로써 애니메이션을 영상 미학적으로 승화시킬 수 있을 것이다. 음향은 애니메이션의 하위텍스트로서의 연상 작용을 위해 사용될 수 있다. 연기의 부속물로서, 라이트모티브(leitmotif)를 위해, 반어적 표현을 위하여, 성격화를 위해, 지역과 민족의 표현을 위하여 그리고 시간의 변화를 위해 음향이 연상 작용을 한다. 따라서 이러한 내용들을 애니메이션인 드림웍스사의 슈렉(Shrek)과 디즈니사의 몬스터 주식회사(Monsters Inc.)를 통해 비교 분석하여 실제 애니메이션의 제작시에 음향을 적절히 사용할 수 있도록 한다 또한 음향의 연상의 활용방안을 찾아보고, 이를 통해 영상 표현의 방법을 다양화하여 미학의 질적 수준을 향상시키는 이론적인 바탕이 되도록 한다.

  • It wouldn't be exaggerating to say that we're living in a "Brand age" these days. Brand is easily spotted anywhere around our surroundings, influencing us in a material and a moral way. BI(Brand Identity) which brings increase on sales by constructing and improving the brand image, are infect visually compressed Identity designs that will give the interior space that have applied it, superiority in building a unified image. Then, graphic plays an important role in expressing Identity designs visually. These days, interior space graphic is an emotional field that can materialize images, which became an important expressing medium that offers various images and creativity and show interior space's brand identity. In this manner, space graphic that applies identity designs, clearly states brand's intentions on space communication and users by designing company images or brand's emotional factors visually and dimensionally. Also, it escapes plane level, and gives space, dimensional and kinetic elements, which can give differentiation with other brand's space. These kinds of flexibility let space graphic be used efficiently in extending space identity.

  • The expansion of open education and the 7th revision of educational curriculum have brought big changes in the school facilities. In response to the integrated curriculum for the first and second grades of elementary school, various plans, such as open classroom, expanded classroom size, and the installation of multi-purpose space, have been attempted. However, such plans have appeared in the form of an open classroom--a uniform spatial composition. As a result, a plan for unit learning space to support the educational curriculum and activities for low grade levels is still insufficient. In the case of advanced countries, a lot of studies on space are being actively conducted to develop the creativity of children and to facilitate free-style learning, and such space is actually applied to a real educational environment. Therefore, this study will analyze the spatial composition of unit learning space for low grade level elementary schools in Korea. From the cases of advanced countries, a more concrete proposal will be suggested to diversify unit learning space for low grade levels.

  • 웹의 교육적 활용은 학생의 흥미 유발 및 자발적 참여와 아울러 시공간의 제약을 넘어 최신의 정보를 얻을 수 있다는 장점으로 최근 교육 기관으로부터 많은 관심을 끌고 있다. 웹의 자료를 검색하여 원하는 정보를 찾아 교육에 활용하기 위한 연구가 다방변에서 진행되고 있다. 웹 자료의 단순한 활용에서 한 차원 높여 보다 조직적이고 통합적인 웹 기반 프로젝트에 대해 소개한다. 웹 기반 프로젝트의 특징은 프로젝트의 주제에 대한 폭 넓은 경험, 통합 교과교육, 창의성 개발, 협동심 배양, 세계화 교육 등을 꼽을 수 있다. 본 논문은 웹을 기반으로하는 프로젝트의 운영에 대한 개념을 설명하고 그 특성을 살려 어떠한 분야에 활용 할 것인지 논의하고 웹 프로젝트 설계의 기본 구조를 제안한다.

쌍봉사 대웅전의 조영에 관한 고찰 - 탑신부(塔身部)의 구조와 의장을 중심으로 - (A Study Building of Ssang-Bong Sa the Main Temple - Focused on Structure and Design of Pagoda Body -)

  • In Korea, only a few wooden pagodas are extant because some wooden pagodas were lost due to artificial environment like war. Fortunately, only Eight Depictions Hall(Palsangjeon) in Beobjusa temple and main hall of Ssang-Bong Sa the main temple are extant. Though main hall of Ssang-Bong Sa the main temple shows old style in construction and outstanding creativity, survey and investigation for the hall have been poor. Accordingly, this study investigated pillar part, bracket structure part, and roof part composing pagoda body section which actively reflects structure and design skill compared to floor or upper part. And for better understanding, in the part that is similar to pagoda body section of main hall or needs examples, wooden pagoda in China or Japan was referred. Through this investigation, it was known that unique skill applied to main hall of Ssang-Bong Sa the main temple is based on plane in one room ${\times}$ one room - Ssang-Bong Sa the main temple has common form of wooden pagoda in appearance.

현대 디지털 패션쇼에 나타난 하이브리드 디지털 문화적 특성 (Cultural Features in Modern Digital Fashion Shows Focusing on Hybrid Digital Culture)

  • Purpose of this study is to analyze the meaning of the hybrid digital culture and to find out the features of digital fashion shows appearing in the period of the hybrid digital culture as there have been almost no studies on the hybrid cultural values in the fashion shows and on the diachronic socio-cultural viewpoint of fashion show. The characteristics of hybrid digital culture were identified through the analysis of cases, and they were organized into three for this study; 'non-economic creativity', 'interactive communication' and 'transcendence'. Based on these characteristics, the features of hybrid digital cultures in the modern digital fashion shows were classified into the digitalization of presentation form and the acceptance by audience of digitalization using case studies. The features of digital fashion shows which appear through the presentation form in the digital fashion shows are as follows; 'Expansion of presentation media of runway' and 'Destruction of component factors of runway'. The features of digital fashion show in the perspective of audience's acceptance of digitalization are as follows; 'Audience's field experience through the live video', 'Participation by audience in interactive manner' and, 'Immersion in the virtual reality by the audiences'.

TV 사극 변천에 따른 드라마 의상의 변화와 가치분석 -MBC 사극을 중심으로- (The Changes of Drama Costume and an Analysis of Costume's Value in the Changes of TV Historical Dramas -Focusing on MBC Historical Dramas-)

  • This study examines how the development and value of dresses shown in MBC historical dramas have changed with the overall change of the dramas. As for the research method, the second data analysis was done with literature study which was supplemented with interviews with the wardrobe team of MBC production design center. Historical dramas produced by MBC have gone through the developmental period, legitimate historical drama-oriented period, stagnant period, and historical dramas-modernized period. The value of costume in each period is as follows: Costume in the developmental period is considered only as part of drama setting. During legitimate historical drama-oriented period, it carries value as educational data and historical replica produced by historical research. Production design including costume obtains its own value in the stagnant period although the production of historical dramas decreases dramatically. And lastly, in the historical dramas-modernized period, costume starts to have commercial value as cultural contents. Historical drama costume may contain important value in terms of education and history, even though there has been controversy on TV historical dramas' role: they should focus on reproducing historical facts or they should support writers' creativity.

코워킹 공간구성과 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Composition and Characteristic of Coworking Space)

  • Coworking space is the ideal concept of small companies, freelancers, startups, and entrepreneurs operating out of a shared office space while working independently of one another. The coworkers share the core values of coworking: collaboration, openness, accessibility, sustainability, and community. Little academic research has been completed on the composition of coworking spaces and the businesses that use them. The purpose of this study is to examine the organization and characteristic of coworking space based on domestic and international cases for providing basic data on the coworking space plan. This study examined existing academic literature, media, online sources to assess the environmental background of worldwide coworking space, the current status, conceptualization, and membership plan that can be appled coworking spaces. The case study for coworking space is limited to the space where there is web site that is showed floor plan. Coworking spaces are designed to be environmentally friendly, offering common area with many facilities to encouraging community and collaboration. For creating ideal coworking space, the concept of coworking space must be recognized as a community space for interaction and creativity between people and space. Based on the result of this study, the appropriate zoning, circulation and specific floor plan of coworking space is needed for the next research.
