  • Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) provides an interactive and personalized service for realizing integrated broadcasting and telecommunication services. Set-top box (SIB) connected to TV is an essential component required for IPTV and has a unique hardware identifier used in identification and authentication. It means that subscriber authentication based on box-level identification is inconsistent with IPTV's main intention of providing personalized services. The proposed solution is to provide an opportunity to use the flexible user-centric authentication mechanism through Java Card applets in IPTV application server and 3G networks. This paper suggests personalized services by moving the user's private data and authentication management beyond the STB to a truly personalized device, the ubiquitous mobile phone. In addition, this paper presents effectiveness and security analysis for verifying the proposal.

  • The information security industry is technology-intensive, high value-added industries. South Korea's response has excellent ICT skills and experience and skills in a variety of cyber attacks, has become a benchmark in the world. However, the small size of the domestic information security company, supporting infrastructure is lacking. Domestic information security industry is the primary condition to activate the export. For the export of high value-added enterprise information security products and services, it is necessary the establishment of the domestic IT information security infrastructure of the industrial promotion is based overseas. Come to analyze the domestic information security industry, capital of this small, market reclamation of overseas expansion, information, manpower shortage was a problem. This fact, combined losses caused by cost-free period AS. Therefore, the study on information security in the infrastructure industry overseas bases is necessary. How to select and analyze the causes of infrastructure in selected overseas offices. By utilizing the infrastructure of overseas bases, can raise the added value of the products and services of the Information Security company, we can enable the export of small and medium Information Security company from overseas offices.

  • According to IT development, smart home services is providing remote service, monitoring service and other various services through smart home devices based on network. But, smart home environment exists security threats such as data falsification, illegal authentication and invasion of privacy through a malicious device. Smart home is studying to prevent these security threats, but the studies of smart home environment security are still in early stage of development and the studies of group key management method is lacking in smart home. In this paper, we propose the group key management method for secure device in smart home.

  • Recently interest in Internet of Things(IoT) has attracted significant attention at national level. IoT can create new services as a technology to exchange data through connections among a huge number of objects around the user. Data communication between objects provides not only information collected in the surrounding environment but also various personalized information. IoT services which provide these various types of data are exposed to numerous security vulnerabilities. If data is maliciously collected and used by an attacker in an IoT environment that deals with various data, security threats are greater than those in existing network environments. Therefore, security of all data exchanged in the IoT environment is essential. However, lightweight terminal devices used in the IoT environment are not suitable for applying the existing encryption algorithm. In addition, IoT networks consisting of many sensors require group communication. Therefore, this paper proposes a secure multicast scheme using the proxy re-encryption method based on Vehicular ad-hoc networks(VANET) environment. The proposed method is suitable for a large-scale dynamic IoT network environment using unreliable servers.

  • Nowadays college students in South Korea experience much stress related to job search due to the continuing unemployment crisis. Particularly, students who hold a degree in Security Services suffer from such stress at a higher level compared to other students because of the specific qualifications sought by potential employers. Therefore, this study investigates the effect of the stress related to job search on career maturity among the students of Security Services. The authors surveyed 250 students of Security Services from 7 colleges in Gyeonggi, Jeolla, and Gyeongsang provinces. Before distributing the questionnaire, its validity and reliability were assessed through the consultations with experts in the related fields. The data collected was examined via various statistical methods, including factor, reliability, correlation, and regression analyses using SPSS 20.0. The results indicated that socio-demographic characteristics affected job search stress and career maturity. Additionally, it was found that the job search-related stress of the students influenced their career maturity. To illustrate, job search stress and career maturity were positively related. Based on the results of the analyses, the authors confirm that the students of Security Services are suffering from a high level of stress resulting from job search, which impacts their career selection. Finally, policy implications are discussed, including alleviating the stress by providing diversified career choices to the students.

  • The review of known decisions showed that currently there are no systems and technologies for supporting the decision about the possibility of concluding the civil law agreements for medical, therapeutic and dental services. The paper models the decision-making support process on the possibility of concluding the civil law agreements for medical, therapeutic and dental services, which is the theoretical basis for the development of rules, methods and system for supporting the decision about the possibility of concluding the civil law agreements for medical, therapeutic and dental services. The paper also developed the system for supporting the decision about the possibility of concluding the civil law agreements for medical, therapeutic and dental services, which automatically and free determines the possibility or impossibility of concluding the corresponding civil law agreement for the provision of a corresponding medical service. In the case of formation of a conclusion about the possibility of concluding the agreement, further conclusion and signing of the corresponding agreement takes place. In the case of forming a conclusion about the impossibility of concluding the agreement, a request is made for finalizing the relevant agreement for the provision of the relevant medical service, indicating the reasons for the impossibility of concluding the agreement - missing essential conditions in the agreement. After finalization, the agreement can be analyzed again by the developed system for supporting the decision.

  • Recently, mobile and smart devices are rapidly spreading. As a result, financial settlement services, which were formerly face-to-face and PC-based, have now been replaced by mobile environments. One of the business areas that utilize FinTech is focused on the easy payment services. The main purpose of this study is to analyze empirically the factors affecting the acceptance of the easy payment services. To achieve this purpose, we surveyed the individuals who have some understanding about the easy payment services. The collected 206 data were used for statistical analysis. The results of the hypotheses test using structural equation model are summarized as follows. First, performance expectancy, social influence, and security perceived by users of the easy payment services have positive influence on positive attitude, but effort expectancy does not. Second, facilitating conditions and positive attitude of easy payment services have positive effects on service adoption. Based on the results of the analysis, it provided meaningful implications for practitioners and researchers in related fields.
