지식, 태도에 따른 치과의료소비자의 임플란트 유지관리 실태 (The practices of dental implant maintenance care in dental service consumers according to their knowledge and attitude)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study is to understand the practices of the dental implant maintenance care according to knowledge and attitude toward dental implant in the dental service consumers. Methods: T-test, ANOVA, and cross tabulation were carried out to understand the knowledge and attitude toward the dental implant, the experiences of the treatments, and the practices of their maintenance care depending on the general characteristics and the oral-health education experience. The collected data were analyzed using by SPSS Windows Program 23.0. Results: The actual state of the implant maintenance care was revealed to be high in the use of oral care products with 83.9% and in the professional maintenance care with 86.0%. In terms of the implant-related experiences, the participation and the participation frequency in the professional maintenance care were resulted to be higher especially in those with more cases of surgical procedures and in those with more failure experiences. Examining the practices of management according to knowledge and attitude toward dental implant, the higher in knowledge and attitude led to the higher uses of oral care products. The periodically professional maintenance care was indicated to be received even if being taken high management cost. Conclusions: Effective education methods and programs are necessary to be developed and executed so that information and knowledge can lead the correct practices in the dental service consumers.

병원마케팅이 치과 의료기관 선택에 미치는 영향 : 의료소비자 만족도를 중심으로 (The influence of selecting dental hospital by hospital marketing : Focus on patient satisfaction)

  • This study is about the basis of satisfactions by patients : One is 'what factors of the marketing by dental medical service have an effect on consumers dental clinic' The other is 'what is the most important part when consumers choose the dental medical ser Seoul and Gyeonggi area unintentionally. Finally 446 people were analyzed. 6 general questions, 5 selective form questions when consumers choose the dental service, 11 satisfactions questions after treating and thought of reuse the dental service 6 (Likert scale) questions. Whether the choice of hospital dental marketing by dental analysis, both male and female hospital medical marketing and use of selected highly suggests that it does not respond. The resulting satisfaction analysis using the Hospital Dental Marketing consumer access to medical care, and then, a full explanation, comfort, quality and level, health care costs, treatment management, and symptom improvement were higher satisfaction with the item, select the dental healthcare after the analysis of the marketing of recycled doctors are otherwise subject the person selected from all entries equal to or higher than the average consumer satisfaction showed a higher medical doctor also higher reuse. Consequently, Through the use of marketing to choose the best dental healthcare need to providing quality care.

장애인 구강의료기관을 위한 서비스지침 개발 - 서비스디자인 기법을 활용하여 - (Developing Dental Service Guideline for Disabled Patients - Using Service Design Methods -)

  • This study developed key elements of dental service guidelines for the disabled patients. In order to provide consumer-oriented service guidelines for the dental patients with disability, service design method was applied. Using service design method guided by the double diamond design process, this study implemented consumer survey, observation, and contextual interviews for consumers' needs assessment. And customer journey map, mind maps, and blueprints were utilized to visualize consumer needs and guidelines for dental care services for the disabled. According to the study, disabled consumers have needs for expertise of the medical staff, dental care institutions specialized on the disabled, financial support, establishment of the facilities for the disabled, comfortable atmosphere in the institutions, and communication with medical staffs. Based on the needs of the disabled, 5 key elements of the dental care services were developed: convenience, expertise, empathy, financial support, and education and management. And service design guidelines were proposed to implement key elements of dental care services for the patients with disability. This study is significant in that it is the first attempt to apply the service design technique from the consumer perspectives in the field of dental care for the disabled. Furthermore the process of this study has become a reference that can be utilized and applied to other medical institution.

정보탐색이 치과의료기관 선택에 미치는 영향 (Impact of Information Search on the Choice of Dental Institution)

  • 본 연구는 치과 의료 소비자가 의료기관 선택을 위해 탐색하는 정보원의 중요 요인이 무엇이며, 인구사회학적 특성에 따른 정보탐색 행태를 파악하여 향후 치과의료기관에서 의료소비자의 선택에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 정보원을 개발하는 것을 주목적으로 실시하였다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 치과를 방문하기 전 정보습득은 습득한다가 37.2%, 습득하지 않는다가 62.8%로 조사되었다. 2. 정보습득경로로는 지인의 소개가 77.3%, 인터넷 정보 이용이 33.6%로 조사되었다. 3. 성별에 따라 사전정보 습득 여부(p=0.000), 사전정보가 치료에 미치는 영향(p=0.000)에 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 4. 연령에 따라서는 사전정보의 정확성에서 차이를 보였다.(p=0.010) 5. 최근 방문에서는 사전정보습득에 차이를 보였다(p=0.049). 6. 인터넷 정보 이용은 성별(p=0.048), 연령(p=0.000), 교육정도(p=0.004)에서 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 분석되었다.

치과내원환자의 치과만족도와 행동유형(DISC)에 관한 연구 (A study on dental patients' satisfaction at different type(DISC) of character)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study was to compare results of dental satisfaction at different type of character and provide basic materials for making the valuable strategies of dental service. Methods : Data was obtained from 256 patients using questionnaire from September 5 to October 13, 2007. Self-administered questionnaires was utilized to assess their types of personal psychological variable and find out its influential factors upon dental consumers and their intent of revisit. The data was analyzed with t-test, one-way ANOVA and logistic regression using the SPSS 14.0 Windows. Results : There is no meaningful difference in dental satisfaction as for character types and factors. Considering the difference of dental satisfaction according to general characteristics, there was a meaningful difference between groups of gender. Also interpersonal relationship as well as level of skill is significantly high in periodical dental visit. Conclusion : The results of this study indicated that environment and facility, cost is the most important influencing factor in determining whether or not the patient will visit a dental clinic repeatedly. In the future, more precise and in-depth questionnaires should be developed to analyze dental consumers.

칫솔질 교육 건강보험 급여화에 대한 치과위생사의 인식 (Dental hygienist's recognition of national health insurance coverage of toothbrushing instruction)

  • Objectives : This study aimed to seek the national health insurance coverage and the efficient direction of toothbrushing instruction and to contribute to establishing policy as auxiliary data, targeting 373 dental hygienists who are working in some areas of Jeonnam. Methods : A research method was questionnaire survey by individually self-administration method. Results : It was indicated to agree to the national health insurance coverage of toothbrushing instruction in the better understanding and cooperation level with toothbrushing instruction, in case of carrying out toothbrushing instruction, and in the higher age group. Conclusions : There will be a need of allowing the national health insurance coverage to be formed in the direction at which the dental service providers and the dental service consumers can be satisfied, by being performed a comprehensive and sufficient research for this.

치석제거 건강보험 급여화에 관한 일부 지역 치과의료소비자의 인식 및 태도 (Awareness and attitude toward health insurance coverage extension to scaling in dental service consumers)

  • Objectives: The purpose of the study is to investigate the awareness and attitude toward health insurance coverage extension to scaling in dental service consumers. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was completed by 349 adults in Jeonbuk from May 4 to 15, 2015. The questionnaire consisted of general characteristics of the subjects (7 items), Awareness of the dental health insurance system(8 items), Health insurance system coverage extension to scaling(8 items), Self-perception of oral health(7 items), Recognition toward yearly scaling benefit(10 items). Results: There were significant differences according to age in opinions on the appropriateness of the frequency of yearly scaling benefit, and the respondents who were in their 20s, who were unmarried and who brushed their teeth three times a day had significantly different opinions on the appropriateness of the fee of yearly scaling benefit. Their opinions on the expansion of scaling benefit was significantly affected by age. It implies that scaling should be added to the coverage list of the national health insurance in every age group since there is an increase in periodontal diseases with age. Concerning awareness of dental health insurance policy, the better-educated respondents took a better view of this system as they showed a more positive interest in its policies and shifts. Conclusions: It is desirable to provide more precise information as to eligible age, frequency and cost through public promotion of health coverage of scaling, and the effort to improve the health insurance coverage policy should be made in order to extend the scope of health coverage of scaling in the near future.

치과클리닉에 대한 의료 소비자의 브랜드 이미지가 충성도에 미치는 영향 - 수도권의 의료 소비자 중심으로 - (The Effects of Brand Image of Dental Clinics Perceived by Healthcare Service Users)

  • Purposes : The purpose of this study is to analyze empirically the consturct development of brand trust in dental clinic service and its influence on both satisfaction and brand loyalty of clinic users in Seoul area. Methodology : To test the hypotheses, the structured instrument was employed to question to patients and their guardians who had used dental clinics in the metropolitan area. 207 cases were analyzed with structural equation method through SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 22.0, and findings of the test as follows. Findings : Firstly, both functional and associative images had a positive impact on the brand trust. Especially we found the influence of functional images was greater than that of the brands' associative images. Secondly, the satisfaction of dental clinic users had greater positive influence on the clinics with greater trust. Thirdly, the higher the satisfaction of health service consumers, the more positive effect on brand loyalty. This relationship between the satisfaction of dental clinic users and brand loyalty match the findings of previous studies on relations of similar variables. Practical Implications : This study shows that with greater satisfaction, the referral rate and the revisit rate of users would increase. This implies that dental clinics need to take appropriate actions to build brand trust with advertising and/or PR strategies for a good brand image. It would be necessary to research further expected variables that influence users' brand loyalty in the service, such as the dentists' level of expertise, their relationship level with customers, the quality of dental services and et al..

치과 내원 환자들의 재이용 의사에 영향을 미치는 결정요인에 관한 융합 분석 (Convergence Analysis on The Determinants of Reuse Intention in Patients Visiting a Dentist)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 치과 내원 환자들의 인적서비스, 서비스 가치 정도를 알아보고 치과 재이용 의사에 영향을 미치는 결정요인을 파악하여 공급자와 소비자에게 질적 치과 의료서비스에 대한 정확한 요구도를 도출, 서로 간에 긍정적인 영향을 주고자 실시하였다. 대전 및 전북지역의 치과 의료기관에 내원한 성인을 대상으로 한 서술적 조사연구이며, 자료는 SPSSWIN 18.0을 이용하여 t-test와 one way ANOVA, Pearson correlation, Stepwise multiple regression을 이용하여 분석하였다. 인적서비스는 서비스 가치, 재이용 의사와 유의한 양의 상관관계를 나타냈고, 서비스 가치도 재이용 의사와 유의한 양의 상관관계를 나타냈다. 재이용 의사에 영향을 미치는 변수는 서비스 가치, 인적서비스, 치과 의료서비스에 대한 차별감으로 나타났다. 따라서 내원 환자에게 맞춤 치과 의료서비스를 제공하기 위한 최적화된 프로그램 개발이 필요하며, 꾸준한 방법 모색을 통한 실제 적용이 요구된다.

성인의 치과건강보험 인식과 영향 요인 연구 (Factors influencing awareness of dental health insurance among adults)

  • Objectives: This study aimed to identify methods that help medical consumers to be aware of relevant information regarding changes in dental health insurance policy. Methods: The following results were obtained from a survey regarding awareness and satisfaction with dental health insurance policy among the general public aged 20 years or older in Seoul, Gyeonggi Province, and other areas from August 1, 2017 to August 23, 2017. Results: The correlation between adults' awareness of and satisfaction with dental health insurance was 0.471, where satisfaction with dental health insurance was enhanced with increasing awareness of dental health insurance (p<0.001). Factors that significantly affected awareness of dental health insurance were marriage (married p<0.05), medical service (dental university hospital, p<0.01), and satisfaction with dental health insurance (p<0.001); these factors explained 29.2% of the variance. Factors that significantly affected satisfaction with dental health insurance were final education (high school graduation, p<0.05), medical service (dental hospital, p<0.05), and awareness of dental health insurance (p<0.001); these factors explained 27.8% of the variance. Conclusions: Importantly, awareness of the government's operation of dental health insurance and the benefits of such dental health insurance were low, suggesting that the government and national health insurance agency should improve the level of transparency in dental health insurance operations and continuously promote dental health insurance benefits to the public.
