A Web Services Delivery System for Mobile Environment (모바일 환경을 위한 웹 서비스 전송 시스템)

  • Recently, as wireless communication are becoming more and more popular, Internet users is becoming increasingly demand HTTP-based web service in mobile computing environment. But, overall performance of web services may slow down, because mobile device are generally equipped with lower capability. Therefore, the most important factor to design wireless internet delivery system should be scalable to handle a large scale traffic due to rapidly growing users. But, in case of some preceding research, they not present a basic efficiency reform measure until currently. Therefore, In this paper, We propose a Web Service Delivery System for mobile environment that alleviates problems that occurred while executing web services in mobile environment and are helpful to overcome the above needs. The system composed of HTML/WML Converter, SOAP message processor. We compare the existing system with the proposed system.

  • Recently, the size of semiconductor industry market is constantly growing, due to the increase in diffusion of smart-phone, tablet PC and SSD(Solid State Drive). Also, it is expected that the demand for TLC NAND-type flash memory would gradually increase, with the recent release of TLC NAND-type flash memory in the SSD market. There have been a lot of studies on SLC NAND flash memory, but no research on TLC NAND flash memory has been conducted, yet. Also, a test of NAND-type flash memory is depending on a high-priced external equipment. Therefore, this study aims to suggest a structure for an autonomous test with no high-priced external test device by modifying the existing SLC NAND flash memory and MLC NAND flash memory test algorithms and patterns and applying them to TLC NAND flash memory.

  • As the Internet gets faster, the demand for high-speed routers that are capable of forwarding more than giga bits of data per second keeps increasing. In the previous research, Bitmap Trie algorithm was developed to rapidly execute LPM(longest prefix matching) process which is Well known as the Severe performance bottleneck. In this paper, we introduce a novel algorithm that drastically enhanced the performance of Bitmap. Trie algorithm by applying three techniques. First, a new table called the Count Table was devised. Owing to this table, we successfully eliminated shift operations that was the main cause of performance degradation in Bitmap Trie algorithm. Second, memory utilization was improved by removing redundant forwarding information from the Transfer Table. Lastly. the range of prefix lookup was diversified to optimize data accesses. On the other hand, the processing delays were classified into three categories according to their causes. They were, then, measured through the execution-driven simulation that provides the higher quality of the results than any other simulation techniques. We tried to assure the reliability of the experimental results by comparing with those that collected from the real system. Finally the Enhanced Bitmap Trie algorithm reduced 82% of time spent in previous algorithm.

  • For balanced development of the Sejong City, early settlement in transport infrastructure should precede the most. Of various means of transport, this study focus on BRT(Bus Rapid Transit) and the railway. Than the subway construction costs only a tenth. Equipped with a system of underground transport capacity to significantly increase the new concept of public transport in the BRT, utilizing the existing line railway to be constructed broad Chungcheong. The extension revolves 1 line of Daejeon subway to Jeongbuse kind government complex and the communication facilities is cooked for the rapid increase in the transportation demand according to the before central administration organization and Sejong city inflow of population.

A Study on Creating Barrier-Free Exhibition Appreciation Environment based on the Visually Impaired Person's Perspectives (시각장애인 당사자관점에 기초한 베리어프리 전시감상환경 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to explore the possibility of creating barrier-free exhibition-appreciation environment based on the visually impaired person's perspectives. Participants were selected by the purposeful sampling method. Researchers conducted a couple of in-depth interviews with four visually impaired persons. Yin's case study method was employed to analyze qualitative information. The analysis revealed nine sub-themes in two sections: three from 'accessibility within the exhibition room'; and six from 'demand for immersive exhibition environment.' Based on the results, following suggestions were presented: First, we need to provide quality information appropriate for artworks-appreciation; secondly, to ensure the visually impaired people to appreciate the culture and arts without any barrier, we need to extend certification of barrier-free living environment to exhibition-appreciation area. Finally, to facilitate these two tasks we need to encourage the convergence research among science and technology, humanities and society, and culture and arts.

  • Medical institutions face the challenge of securing competitiveness among medical institutions due to the rapid spread of ICT convergence, and managing data that is growing at an enormous rate due to the emergence of big data and the emergence of the Internet of Things. The big data paradigm of the medical community is not just about large data or tools and processes for processing and analyzing it, but also means a computerized shift in the way people live, think and study. As the medical data is recently released, the demand for the use of medical data is increasing. Therefore, the research on disease detection system based on public data using open source that can help rational and efficient decision making was conducted. As a result of the experiment, unlike a simple disease inquiry or a symptom inquiry about a single disease provided by a public institution, related diseases are searched by a symptom or a cause.

  • Recently, interest and demand for facial information processing technology that can provide non-face-to-face identity authentication and access management service using smart devices, which is an essential environmental improvement for multi-use facilities, is increasing as a way to prevent the spread of infectious diseases worldwide and to cope with social measures. This study defines a multi-use facility classification system and applied service field to establish a continuous access control system, and measures to improve the usability of the service platform considering scalability through a dual access control system and personal/measurement information type analysis, and accordingly We would like to propose a service roadmap. In addition, it aims to improve the physical access management system service platform, which is a multi-use facility application service that requires one-time and multiple-use authentication according to usage. It is expected that the methodology of this study can be applied as a service platform of a logical access control system type in the future.

  • The market size of wearable devices is growing rapidly every year, and manufacturers around the world are introducing products that utilize their unique characteristics to keep up with the demand. Among them, smart watches are wearable devices with a very high share in sales, and they provide a variety of services to users by using information collected in real-time. The quality of service depends on the accuracy of the data collected by the smart watch, but data measurement may not be possible depending on the situation. This paper introduces a method to restore data that a smart watch could not collect. It deals with the similarity calculation method of trajectory information measured over time for data restoration and introduces a procedure for restoring missing sections according to the similarity. To prove the performance of the proposed methodology, a comparative experiment with a machine learning algorithm was conducted. Finally, the expected effects of this study and future research directions are discussed.

However, traditional education systems face challenges in adapting to rapidly evolving technologies, with long learning durations and high costs. In response, microdegrees have emerged as a solution, offering focused, short-term learning in specific fields, thereby enhancing flexibility and accessibility in education. This study explores how microdegrees provide new opportunities within existing educational frameworks, examines their roles and impacts across various domains, and identifies key elements to consider when designing microdegree programs. Ultimately, microdegrees will play a crucial role in rapidly adapting to technological trends and cultivating the workforce needed for the future. This research aims to contribute to foundational studies on microdegrees, driving educational innovation and proposing a new educational paradigm.

  • IPTV(Internet Protocol Television)is the point in commercial and broadcast content from the numerous channels that are growing exponentially, Many people with mobile devices anywhere, anytime you want to use IPTV, demand will increase. Numerous channels for collecting information about EPG (Electronic Program Guide) service, IP (Internet Protoco) communications using a fast search of content for broadcast EPG is time to take advantage of the service. Using the current wired network, the Android-based IPTV services to take advantage of the EPG in the mobile environment to provide an environment being studied, and Country of the European digital broadcast standard DVB-MHP standard is followed by subsequent research and development of the EPG service is required. In this study, using the existing wired network, IPTV EPG service information of the channel in a mobile environment user-friendly as possible by providing channels for EPG service information to users quickly and easily search for content to provide an environment and Android-based mobile IPTV environment to take advantage of the EPG service channels of broadcast channels with in the EPG service for users to gather information retrieval system is proposed.
