  • Message replay, malicious Access Point (AP) associations and Denial of Service (DoS) attacks are the major threats in Wireless LANs. These threats are possible due to a lack of proper authentication and insecure message communications between wireless devices. Current wireless authentication & key exchange (AKE) schemes and security protocols (WEP, WPA and IEEE 802.11i) are not sufficient against these threats. This paper presents a novel Secure WLAN Authentication Scheme (SWAS). The scheme introduces the delegation concept of mobile authentication in WLANs, and provides mutual authentication to all parties (Wireless Station, Access Point and Authentication Server). The messages involved in the process serve both authentication and key refreshing purposes. The scheme enhances the security by protecting the messages through cryptographic techniques and reduces the DoS impact. The results showed that cryptographic techniques do not result in extra latencies in authentication. The scheme also reduces the communication cost and network overhead.

  • Social network services such as Facebook and Flickr is a very useful service that was the foundation of the Internet. If a state in which the Internet is connected, music, photos, and us to be able to share it freely post such as documents. However, even when the digital information posted in such social network services the user has died, and have been published, it is also used for people who do not intend the bad purposes some problems can occur. Facebook is trying to apply the findings Jed R. Brubaker of UC Irvine University in order to solve this problem. However, in Korea, such efforts, not much appears for now. Therefore, we proposed a method that can be managed by delegated Facebook, safely a Delegator digital information posted on social networking services such as Flickr. Our proposed system, as compared with Jed R. Brubaker and Jeong-Kyung Moon is executed previous studies, we studied a method proposed by the appropriate compensates points shortage is passed through the future research. And I consider to have been proposed a method to safely use posted digital assets in a social network service.

  • Centralized P2P system, Napster and Unstructured P2P system, Gnutella accomplish main current. Centralized system and unstructured system have a restriction in a scalability. To solve the this problem, structured system is appeared. CAN, Chord, Pastry and Tapestry are delegation of this system. Although structured system don't aware physical proximity of node because it uses Distribute Hash Table. In proposing system, a node can communicate with physical proximity of node using concept of LAN. Internet traffic is also decreased because communication in the Chord network divide in two(original network and sub network).

  • To integrate both the OSI network and the TCP/IP internet, the application gateway that have the powerful and flexible paradigms has been used, but due to the micro-managements of the gateway produce the high costs and the long delay of communication in the case of emergency. The mechanism that maps the access control policies between two domains using the different security policies is needed. These problems are caused by integrating both domains with the different standards. In this paper, the application gateway that delegating to an agent the powerful and flexible services of the CMIP as well as the management functions were proposed. A proposed algorithm that delegates he management script to an gateway safely by capitalizing on the Diffie-Hellman's distribution method, and presents the security mechanism mediating the security policies for guaranteeing the secure communication between two domains using the different security policies.

  • The purpose of this study is to present the specific ways of successful localization by analyzing the success and failures case for localization within the framework of the strategic models through a theoretical background and strategic models of localization. The strategic models of localization are divided by management aspects such as the localization of product and sourcing, the localization of human resources, the localization of marketing, the localization of R&D, harmony with a local community and delegation of authority between headquarters and local subsidiaries. The results, by comparing and analyzing the success and failures case for localization of individual companies operating in India, indicate that in terms of localization of product and sourcing, there are successful companies which procure a components locally and produce a suitable model which local consumers prefer and the failed companies which can not meet local consumers' needs. In case of localization of human resources, most companies recognize the importance of this portion and make use of superior human resource aggressively through a related education. In case of localization of marketing, It is found that the successful companies perform pre-market research & management and build a effective marketing skills & after service network and select local business partner which has a technical skills and carry out a business activities, customer support, complaint handling with their own organization. In terms of localization of R&D, the successful major companies establish and operate R&D center to promote a suitable model for local customers. In part of harmony with a local community, it shows that companies which made a successful localization understand the cultural environment and contribute to the community through CSR. In aspect of delegation of authority between headquarters and local subsidiaries, it is found that most of Korean companies are very weak for this part. there is a tendency to be determined by the head office rather than local subsidiaries. Implication of this thesis is that Korean enterprises in India should carry forward localization of products and components, foster of local human resource who recognize management and system of company and take part in voluntary market strategy decision, wholly owned subsidiary, establishment and operation of R & D center, understanding of local culture and system, corporate social responsibility, autonomy in management.

  • Coastal cities suffer a great deal of storm and wind damage. The storm and wind characteristics vary between cities. Therefore, a storm and wind damage management system suited for specific characteristics is required for each coastal city. In this study, we analyze the current situation and establish the problem of storm and wind damage management system in regards to urban management, coastal management and disaster management. We also review the storm and wind damage management system for the USA and Japan. We consequently propose a plan to improve the storm and wind damage management system. As a result of the study, in terms of city management, we recommend the compulsory identification of disaster prevention districts, implementation of the integrated coastal city management plan, designation of natural disaster risk mitigation area as disaster prevention district, the division of disaster prevention district into wind damage prevention district, storm damage prevention district, erosion damage prevention district, the building of restrictions at the disaster prevention district by ordinance, etc. In regards to coastal management, we suggest the delegation of authority to delegate coastal erosion management area to the local government, the subdivision of coastal erosion management area into erosion serious area, erosion progress area, erosion concern area, the building restrictions at coastal erosion management area by ordinance, development of erosion prediction chart, etc. In relation to disaster management, we recommend the integration of "countermeasures against natural disasters act" and "disasters and safety management basic act", the local government-led disaster prevention system, the local disaster management network, and the customized local disaster prevention plan, etc.
