물질흐름분석을 이용한 국내 지속가능한 자원관리 시스템 모형 연구 (Modelling Study on Sustainable Resources Management System Using Material Flow Analysis(MFA) in Korea)

  • 지속가능한 자원관리모형(SRM)구축은 탈물질화 및 환경과 경제의 디커플링을 이루기 위한 핵심적 요소로 여겨지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 세계 각국의 지속가능한 자원관리 정책 및 연구방향을 살펴보고, decoupling factor를 이용하여 국내제조업의 경제활동과 에너지소비간의 디커플링현상을 살펴보았다. 마지막으로 이를 바탕으로 국내 실정에 맞는 SRM모형구축과 전략을 제시하였다. 자원관리 시스템은 수요전망, 물질흐름분석과 가치사슬분석, 시장구조분석 등의 분석과 조사 등을 바탕으로 구축된다. 이러한 분석들을 통해 환경적 문제 해결, 재활용시장관리방안 및 시장의 구조적 문제점 도출, 필요 재활용기술 도출, 1차자원과 2차자원의 최적 공급비율 등의 Hot-spot 도출 및 해결방안모색이 가능하다. 또한 지속가능한 자원 관리시스템과 국가단위, 권역단위의 물질흐름분석을 유기적으로 연계하고, 효과적인 이의 운영을 위해서는 국가차원의 법제화와 뒷받침이 이뤄져야 할 것이다.

  • Input-output decoupling is well-known to be effective in the control of the nonlinear systems. This paper points out some problems of this technique in applications, and obtains a new digital input-output decoupling feedback law by using the inherent structure of the system. The effectiveness (accuracy) of our new control technique are confirmed by simple computer simulations. Finally, a digital compensator is also designed. The problems we study are of importance in the field of nonlinear control of robots, aerospace navigation, and vehicular control. The methodology to be employed involves both algebraic and geometric aspects of the systems.

  • This paper investigates how the PCB power-bus structure's characteristics are influenced by the loading of decoupling capacitors that are placed close to vias, on purpose or not. It is worthwhile to see the correlated effects of the aforementioned lumped elements in that when they inevitably share one DC power-bus they will result in positive or negative changes in the PCB EMC design. The EM fields and impedance profiles are rigously calculated on the PCB power-bus cases loaded with the above components and their effects will be given to bring better PCB EMC countermeasures.

  • This study proposes a control method using a repetitive controller for a boost-type PFC rectifier with an APD circuit structure to improve the current distortion caused by DCM condition. Conventional proportional integral controllers have bandwidth limitations in DCM conditions. The performance improvement of the APD controller in the DCM region is verified through simulations and experiments on the compensation of harmonics by the repetitive controller.

Response spectrum analysis considering non-classical damping in the base-isolated benchmark building

  • An isolated building, composed of superstructure and isolation system which have very different damping properties, is typically non-classical damping system. This results in inapplicability of traditional response spectrum method for isolated buildings. A multidimensional response spectrum method based on complex mode superposition is herein introduced, which properly takes into account the non-classical damping feature in the structure and a new method is developed to estimate velocity spectra from the commonly used displacement or pseudo-acceleration spectra based on random vibration theory. The error of forced decoupling method, an approximated approach, is discussed in the viewpoint of energy transfer. From the base-isolated benchmark model, as a numerical example, application of the procedure is illustrated companying with comparison study of time-history method, forced decoupling method and the proposed method. The results show that the proposed method is valid, while forced decoupling approach can't reflect the characteristics of isolated buildings and may lead to insecurity of structures.

  • In this paper for an object grasped by a robot hand to work in stiffness control domain we first investigate the number of fingers for successful stiffness modulation in the object operational space. Next we propose a new compliance control method for robot hands which consist of two steps. RIFDS(Resolved Inter-Finger Decoupling Solver) is to decompose the desired compliance characteristic specified in the op-erational space into the compliance characteristic in the fingertip space without inter-finger coupling and RIJDS(Resolved Inter-Joint Decoupling Solver) is to decompose the fingertip space without inter-finger coupling and RIJDS(Resolved inter-Joint Decoupling Solver) is to decompose the compliance characteristic in the finger-tip space into the compliance characteristic given in the joint space without inter-joint coupling. Based on the analysis results the finger structure should be biominetic in the sense that either kniematic redundancy or force redundancy are required to implement the proposed compliance control scheme, Five-bar fingered robot hands are used as an illustrative example to implement the proposed compliance control method. To show the effectiveness of the proposed compliance control method simulations are performed for two-fingered and three-fingered robot hands.

Analysis and Design of Function Decoupling High Voltage Gain DC/DC Converter

  • Traditional boost converters have difficulty realizing high efficiency and high voltage gain conversion due to 1) extremely large duty cycles, 2) high voltage and current stresses on devices, and 3) low conversion efficiency. Therefore, a function decoupling high voltage gain DC/DC converter composed of a DC transformer (DCX) and an auxiliary converter is proposed. The role of DCX is to realize fixed gain conversion with high efficiency, whereas the role of the auxiliary converter is to regulate the output voltage. In this study, different forms of combined high voltage gain converters are compared and analyzed, and a structure is selected for the function decoupling high voltage gain converter. Then, topologies and control strategies for the DCX and auxiliary converter are discussed. On the basis of the discussion, an optimal design method for circuit parameters is proposed, and design procedures for the DCX are described in detail. Finally, a 400 W experimental prototype based on the proposed optimal design method is built to verify the accuracy of the theoretical analysis. The measured maximum conversion efficiency at rated power is 95.56%.

Partial EBG Structure with DeCap for Ultra-wideband Suppression of Simultaneous Switching Noise in a High-Speed System

  • To supply a power distribution network with stable power in a high-speed mixed mode system, simultaneous switching noise caused at the multilayer PCB and package structures needs to be sufficiently suppressed. The uni-planar compact electromagnetic bandgap (UC-EBG) structure is well known as a promising solution to suppress the power noise and isolate noise-sensitive analog/RF circuits from a noisy digital circuit. However, a typical UC-EBG structure has several severe problems, such as a limitation in the stop band's lower cutoff frequency and signal quality degradation. To make up for the defects of a conventional EBG structure, a partially located EBG structure with decoupling capacitors is proposed in this paper as a means of both suppressing the power noise propagation and minimizing the effects of the perforated reference plane on the signal quality. The proposed structure is validated and investigated through simulation and measurement in both frequency and time domains.

철강산업의 온실가스 배출 탈동조화 국제비교 (International Comparison of Decoupling of Greenhouse Gas Emissions in the Steel Industry)

  • 철강산업은 온실가스 배출량이 가장 많은 제조업이면서 핵심소재산업으로서 국민경제에 미치는 파급효과가 크다. 본 연구는 한국, 일본, 독일을 중심으로 1990~2019년 기간에 걸쳐 철강산업의 온실가스 배출 탈동조화 양상을 국제비교하였다. 특히, 연료연소 배출량만을 고려한 선행연구들과는 달리 본 연구에서는 연료연소 배출량, 산업공정 배출량, 전력 및 열 사용에 따른 간접 배출량을 모두 고려하였다. 분석결과, 한국은 확장적 동조화, 일본은 탈동조화, 독일은 불분명으로 해석된다. 따라서 한국 철강업이 나아가야 할 탈동조화 경로는 독일이 아니라, 일본과 유사하거나 일본보다 더 효과적인 탈동조화 방안을 모색하는 형태로 진행되어야 할 것이다. 또한, 본 연구는 철강업의 특성을 최대한 고려하고 일본 및 독일과의 비교를 통해 탈동조화 분석결과의 원인과 한국 철강업에의 시사점도 제시하였다. 특히, 일본의 탈동조화 촉진 요인으로 일본 철강재의 고부가가치화, 일본 철강산업의 에너지효율기술 개발, 일본 철강산업의 전략적 M&A, 일본 철강재의 폐쇄적 유통구조에 따른 경쟁력 유지, 4가지를 제시하였다. 한국 철강업도 일본의 사례를 벤치마크로 삼아 철강재의 품질 고도화 및 품목 다변화를 통해 부가가치를 더 높이는 동시에, 신기술 개발을 통해 온실가스를 근본적으로 줄이기 위해 노력해야 할 것이다.

다종의 가진방법을 이용한 비연성 경향을 가진 차실모형의 모우드 해석 (Modal analysis of a vehicle cabin model having high decoupling tendency)

  • Interior noise in a car is known to have an important influence on product acceptability. This noise is closely correlated with structural-acoustic vibration. When considering noise problem, the structural-acoustic relation of a vehicle cabin model needs to be identified. However, it is very difficult to get the modal parameters of this kind of cabin structure composed of thin plates: because it not only can be excited by the acoustic vibration of cavity, but also tends to have decoupling effects of one plate from another. In order to obtain modal parameters more precisely, various excitation techniques, i.e. impact, pure random, burst random, and swept sine testing are applied for the first step. In the case of the cabin model, impact and swept sine testing show good results. Next, the determination of the excitation point by trial- and-error and the accurate measurements of FRF's are performed with these methods. The modal parameter extraction is carried out for the final step. This paper proposes a new approach to find the modal parameters more reliably in the case of high decoupling effects. That is, the convergence of MIF and MCF in each panel, which provide some criteria for the validity of the obtained modal parameters, is observed. And from those results, the pretty accurate modal parameters can be determined. A comparative assessment between the modal testing and the FEM is also performed.
