  • As the market becomes increasingly globalized and competition among companies increases in severity, various specialized organizations are participating across the process plant lifecycle, including the stages of design, construction, operation and maintenance, and dismantlement, in order to ensure efficiency and elevate competitiveness. In this regard, it is an important technical issue to develop services or information systems for sharing process plant data among participating organizations. ISO 15926 is an international standard for integration of lifecycle data for process plants including oil and gas facilities. ISO 15926 Part 7, a part of the ISO 15926 standard, specifies an implementation method called a facade that uses Web Services and ontology technologies for constructing plant data repositories and related services, with the aim of sharing lifecycle data of process plants. This paper discusses the ISO 15926-based prototype facade implemented for storing equipment data of nuclear power plants and servicing the data to interested organizations.

  • We proposed the method of avionics integrated architecture using high-speed fiber optic bus. Typically, data bus of aircraft consists of electronic and optic data transmission method. Avionics systems are difficult to operate the electronic data transmission method for the high speed data processing, synchronization and interconnection between flight control system and flight management system efficiently. In this paper, it is known to look into the problem of data bus and the advanced trend in avionics systems, and propose the appropriate data bus of the advanced avionics systems.

  • Useful data being distributed over several systems, we have a problem in accessing and utilizing them. Recognizing this problem, researchers have proposed two concepts as solutions to the problem, multidatabase and data warehouse. The one provides a virtual view over the distributed data, and the latter is a materialized view of it. Recently, more attention has been paid to the latter, which is a single of distributed database, collected along a time dimension. So, the major issues in building a data warehouse are 1) how to define a global schema for the data warehouse, 2) how to capture changes from local databases, and 3) how to represent time-varying values of data item. This paper presents an integrated approach to these issues, borrowing the research results from such areas as multidatabase, active databases and temporal databases.

  • With the explosive growth of information sources available under various information technology and business environment, it has become increasingly necessary for determining effective marketing strategies and optimizing the logical structure of the CRM data mining system. In this paper, we present an overview of the data mining for strategy focused CRM structure. This includes preprocessing, transaction identification and data integration components. We describe the main part of this paper to the discussion of processes and problems that characterize the mining tools and techniques, identify the CRM data mining, and provide a general architecture of a system to do focused CRM data mining that require further research and development.

  • Standardization for product data has not been well established and many different presentation methods are being used in CAD/CAM industry. In order to accomplish system integration or concurrent engineering in such situation, product data exchanges among heterogeneous system are needed. This paper presents a data exchange system between IGES and STEP (AP 202 and 203). The schemata of those standard data formats are represented in EXPRESS and the relationship between corresponding entities are written in EXPRESS-X. Relationships among Non-geometric entities (such as color and annotations) as well as geometric entities are examined. Because the system implemented in this research uses high-level schema language and mappign language, it can be easily extended to support new data formats.

  • Objectives: This study was performed to investigate the association between hopelessness, social support and community integration, and depression. Methods: We analyzed data from a questionnaire administered to subjects aged 65 years or older living alone for a 2015 community mental health project in Gyeongnam S city. We used a correlation analysis and a hierarchical regression analysis to identify factors that affect depression. Results: When controlling for socio-demographic factors, hopelessness and community integration had significant effects on depression. That is, the higher the hopelessness (B=0.768, p<.001) and the lower the community integration (B=-0.163, p=.012), the higher the depression in elderly living alone. Conclusions: There is a need for approaches at both the individual and social levels that consider and improve measures to prevent and reduce depression. Moreover, it is especially necessary to enhance community integration.

  • Objective : This study was conducted to determine effects of school-based occupational therapy through a systematic review Methods : We systematically reviewed studies published in PubMed and Ovid from 2000 to June 2014 using keyword 'school' or 'children' and 'occupational therapy'. Fourteen studies were selected. The level of evidence, participants, assessment, intervention area, method and effects were analyzed by reviewing full text. Results : The most group and age of participants were normal child with fine motor difficulties and 6~8 years old in selected studies. The most target area of intervention was handwriting, fine motor and visuo-motor integration (68.8%) and the most method was direct treatment (71.4%). The top on the assessment was Beery-Buktenica Test of Visual-Motor Integration (14.9%) and next was Bruininks-Oseretsky Test of Motor Proficiency (11.1%). Effects of school based occupational therapy were founded in the visual motor integration, learning skill, level of participation, fine motor, play and behavioral problem. Conclusion : This systematic review provides evidence concerning the participants, intervention, assessment and effects of school based occupational therapy. It should be used for basic data for the research and practice of school-based occupational therapy.

  • Objective : This study was to perform the education of the ASI$^{(R)}$ intervention for six occupational therapists and to know the delivery of ASI$^{(R)}$ core principle through a self-assessment, a peer-assessment, an expert-assessment. Methods : The study performed from November 2013 to June 2014 for six occupational therapists without completion of the education of ASI$^{(R)}$ intervention. The participants were educated about the ASI$^{(R)}$ intervention during 8 weeks and took and assessed films before and after education. The assessment was the self-assessment, the peer-assessment, the expert-assessment and the data of assessment was analyzed by Mann-Whitney and ICC. Results : The result of process factors before and after education according to methods of assessment, the self-assessment was significant in 'self-regulation,' 'collaboration,' 'ensures success,' 'play,' 'alliance,' and 'total item'. The peer-assessment was significant in all item exception 'safety'. The expert-assessment was significant in all items exception 'sensory opportunities'. The results of self-assessment and expert-assessment before and after the education of ASI$^{(R)}$ intervention were significant in 'safety'. Conclusion : The results of this study provide to need the education of ASI$^{(R)}$ intervention for accuracy sensory integrative intervention. The occupational therapists need to check the style of intervention.

  • Objective : The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of Ayres's sensory integration (ASI) intervention on the sensory processing ability and motor development in children with Developmental Delay. Methods : 9 children in the experimental group and 8 children in the control group participated in this study for Developmental Delay children aged 3-5 years. For research tool, the Short Sensory Profile (SSP), Peabody Developmental Motor Scale-2 (PDMS-2) are used. In the experimental group, individual sensory integration therapy according to principle of ASI was performed for twice a week, 40 minutes, and 16 times for 8 weeks. Methods for the data analysis included Mann Whitney U test, Chi-square test, Wilcoxon's signed rank test, Cohen's d test of SPSS 24.0. Results : In the ASI Intervention group, the sensory processing ability showed statistically significant difference in total score, movement sensitivity, auditory filtering and low energy/weak compared to the control group without ASI intervention (p<.05). In the ASI Intervention group, the motor development showed statistically significant difference in Gross Motor Quotient, Fine Motor Quotient and Total Motor Quotient compared to the control group without ASI intervention (p<.05). Conclusions : In this study, ASI intervention had a positive effect on the sensory processing and motor development in children with Developmental Delay.

  • The NGIS(National Geographic Information System) project is in its third phase currently. To put the produced data to practical use, central and local governments are trying to implement spatial data warehouse(SDW). In this study, status of local and international SDW(Spatial Data Warehouse) technology were investigated. It has been observed that in Korea it was necessary to shift the focus from management of spatial data to servicing of spatial data to information end users. To that end, the following tasks should be pursued : 1) standardization, 2) automatic ways of linking various legacy administrative information, 3) development of customized middleware for spatial data integration and 4) legal system infra structure.
