저효율 혈액투석 불이행 측정 도구 개발 (A Study of Low Flux Hemodialysis Noncompliance Indicators and Discriminant Standards, Development of Hemodialysis Noncompliance Measurement - Brief Form(HNCM-BF))

  • Purpose: Purpose of the this study is to define the hemodialysis noncompliance Indicators and discriminant standards levels for low Flux Hemodialysis patients and development of Hemodialysis noncompliance measurement - brief form. Method: Data was collected from 269 hemodialysis patients. To establish the hemodialysis noncompliance Indicators and to discriminate standards, 13 hemodialysis nurses and 2 nephrology doctors are participated in professional group. To verify the indicators and discriminant standards, data was ananlyzed by the canonical discriminant analysis method using by SAS 8.3 program. Result: 4 Indicators- interdialysis weight gain(IWG); average of recent 4weeks, serum phophate level, skipping of hemodialysis and hemodialysis time shortening without permission- of hemodialysis noncompliance are established and discriminant standards are developed. Discriminant ability of these 4 noncompliance indicators is 99.7%(p=.000). Hemodialysis noncompliance measurement - brief form has 96.3% discriminant accuracy. Conclusion: Hemodialysis noncompliant patients have high risks. It means that special intervention to noncompliance is needed. Also continuous and objective assessment and standards of noncompliance are needed.

  • Recent engineering process requires fast development and manufacturing of the products. This paper mainly discusses the process of rapid product development (RPD) from the reverse engineering to the optimal design. A laser scanning system scans a product and the efficient data processing method reduces the scanned point data. The reduced (scanned) points model is transformed to a finite element model without the construction of a CAD model. Since CAD modeling is a time-consuming work, skipping this step can save much time. This FE model is updated from the result based on the structural characteristics from modal test of the real model. For FE model updating, Response Surface Method is adopted. Finally, the updated FE model is optimized using the reliability-based topology optimization, which is developed recently. All these processes are applied to the design of an upper part model of a cellular phone.

전북지역 일부 청소년의 아침식사대용 쌀 기반 가정간편식 인식 및 선호도 (Recognition and preference of rice-based home meal replacement for breakfast among adolescents in the Jeonbuk area)

  • 본 연구는 전라북도 일부 지역 중·고등학생을 대상으로 아침식사대용 쌀 기반 HMR 인식과 그 선호도를 조사하였으며, 요약하면 다음과 같다. 조사대상자의 아침식사 결식 여부 행태는 아침식사군 (주 4회 이상 섭취군)이 272명 (54.6%), 아침결식군 (주 3회 이하 섭취군)이 226명(45.4%)으로 조사되었다. 조사대상자의 HMR 섭취 만족도는 고등학생 (48.2%)이 중학생(39.1%)과 비교 시 유의적으로 HMR 만족도가 높았으며, 여학생이 남학생 보다 HMR 만족도가 높았다. 조사대상자의 아침식사 대용식의 필요성조사 결과는 남학생이 여학생보다 유의적으로 높은 비율로 응답하였다 (p < 0.01). 아침식사 대용식으로써 쌀 기반의 한식 식사 패턴의 선호도는 아침식사자가 58.9%로 아침결식자보다 높고, 고등학생이 중학생보다 유의적으로 높은 것으로 나타났다 (p < 0.01). 또한 조사대상자의 아침식사대용으로 쌀 기반 HMR 선호 식품은 '삼각김밥', '주먹밥', '김밥' 순으로 나타났다. 따라서 청소년들의 아침결식의 큰 이유인 '시간이 없어서'와 '입맛이 없어서'를 고려하여 손쉽게 섭취할 수 있는 아침식사대용 간편식 메뉴 개발 연구는 지속적으로 이루어져야 하고, 해당 메뉴의 조리교육 및 레시피 보급이 필요할 것으로 사료된다.

1989년도 국민영양조사에 따른 한국인의 식사양상 (Analysis of Meal Patterns from the Korean National Nutrition Survey in 1989)

  • In this report, we investigated meal patterns by area, age, profession from the data of the Korean National Nutrition Survey which had been carried out in 1989. The proportion of home prepared meal was about 90% at breakfast and dinner, and 46.3% at lunch. People had meals outside of home mainly at lunch(31.1%), and usually ate restaurant meal(17.7%). The proportion of meal skipped was 7.1% at breakfast, 3.9% at lunch, and 1.2% at dinner. At large city, 10.3% of people skipped breakfast, it was the highest proportion among three areas(large city, small city, and rural area). Also, the proportion of meal outside of homes was the highest among all areas. In rural area, home prepared meal was prevalent for all meals. Among all age groups, people between 20 and 49 ate out most frequently. For people between age 16 and 19, meal skipping was frequent for breakfast and dinner, especially, 20.5% of girl skipped breakfast. At lunch, the proportion of meal skipping was the highest in age higher than 50 groups. Among all professions, people in service job skipped lunch and dinner at the highest proportion. Manager and deskworker skipped breakfast by 12.9% and they ate out at lunch by 82.5%.

가족동반 아침식사에 따른 청소년의 영양섭취상태 평가 - 2013~2015년 국민건강영양조사 자료를 이용하여 - (Evaluation of Nutritional Status in Korean Adolescents according to Eating Breakfast together as a Family - Based on the 2013~2015 Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey -)

  • The objective of the this study was to identify the potential relationship between eating breakfast together as a family and the nutritional status among Korean adolescents based on the 2013~2015 Korean National Health and Nutritional Examination Survey data. This study investigated 1,300 adolescents ranging in agee from twelve to eighteen years-old. In this study, according to their eating breakfast together as a family or skipping breakfast, we classified the subjects into the eating breakfast together as a family (EBF group) (male=379, female=295), eating breakfast alone (EBA group) (male=177, female=169) and skipping breakfast (SB group) (male=152, female=128). Both male and female, age in the EBF group was lower than those of the EBA and SB group (p<0.0001, respectively). In the male, the EBF group exhibited significantly higher fiber (p=0.0168) and potassium density (p=0.0065) and lower beverage intake (% energy) (p=0.0040) than the EBA and SB groups. No difference was observed the proportion of subjects who practiced a healthy diet between three groups, however, the EBF and EBA groups had a smaller proportion of subjects who were in a condition of hypo-nutrition compared to the SB group (p<0.0001, respectively). The present findings suggest that the practice of eating breakfast together as a family in adolescents may bean important consideration in relation to micro-nutrient intake status.

한국과 중국 일부지역 여대생의 균형식 섭취 행동변화단계에 영향을 미치는 요인 비교 (Comparison of Factors Influencing Change Stages in Balanced Diet among Female University Students in Korea and China)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify differences in dietary behavior in Korean and Chinese female university students and investigate factors that influence dietary behavior. A total of 447 female university students in Korea and China were surveyed between June 27 and August 30, 2016. The data were analyzed using $x^2$ test, t-test, one way ANOVA, and multivariate logistic regression analysis. Among Korean female university students, those who skipped breakfast were 26.18 times (95% CI: 5.421-126.407) more likely to be at a low-level stage for balanced diets than those who did not skip breakfast. In addition, compared to Korean female university students who did not eat late-night meals, those who ate late-night meals were 3.15 times (95% CI: 1.28-7.768) more likely to be at a low-level stage for balanced diets. Compared to Chinese female university students who did not skip breakfast, those who skipped breakfast were 4.22 times (95% CI: 1.865-9.551) more likely to be at a low-level stage for balanced diets. Compared to the Chinese female university students who did not stay up all night, those who stayed up all night were 5.25 times (95% CI: 1.712-16.074) to be in the preparation stage. The study results show that some factors that influence stage changes in balanced diets in Korean female university students were skipping breakfast and eating late-night meals. Therefore, it is recommended that solutions for improving the behavior of late-night meals and skipping breakfast, which are factors influencing stage changes in balanced diets should be strategically performed according to dietary behavior stages.

Disparities in dietary quantity and quality between the two different types of Korean family of older adults living with spouses and living alone: using data from the 6th Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey

  • BACKGROUND/OBJECTIVES: This study was conducted to examine disparities in food and nutrient intakes based on family types identified among 1,856 participants who were the Korean elderly people in the 6th Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (KNHNES) excluding those who were currently practicing the diet therapy. SUBJECTS/METHODS: We separated the subjects into two groups: living alone (LA, n = 638) and living with a spouse (LS, n = 1,218). We also examined the disparities of dietary quantity and quality of those two groups using complex sampling design general linear regression analyses (CS GLM). RESULTS: In the LA group, there was a higher percentage of females and average age in LA group was higher than the participants in the LS group. Household income and education level were significantly lower in LA compared to those of LS. The frequencies of skipping meals were higher in LA. LA's food and nutrient intakes showed lower consumption of vegetables, fruits, seaweeds, and of most nutrients. Even after adjusting for the confounding factors, the consumption of vegetables, seaweeds, carbohydrates, potassium, riboflavin, and vitamin C showed lower in LA than LS. Moreover, LA's nutrient intake ratios compared to the KDRIs were lower which turned out to be similar to their nutrient intakes. CONCLUSIONS: These results show that dietary behavior and food intake of the elderly are associated with family types. Frequently skipping meals and less dietary variety are more common with elderly persons who were living alone. Therefore, it is necessary to integrate the supplementary food programs and nutrition education programs for the elderly living alone.

정점분할을 이용한 GPU 기반 볼륨 렌더링의 가속 기법 (Acceleration of GPU-based Volume Rendering Using Vertex Splitting)

  • 볼륨 광선 투사법은 볼륨 데이터를 가시화하는 기법 중 고화질 영상을 만들어내는 기법이다. 하지만 일반적으로 볼륨 데이터는 매우 크기 때문에 렌더링 시간이 오래 걸리는 문제가 있다. 이를 보완하기 위하여 최근에는 GPU를 이용하여 볼륨 광선 투사법을 가속화하는 많은 기법들이 연구되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 볼륨 광선 투사법을 가속화하기 위한 GPU 기반의 옥트리 탐색을 통한 효과적인 빈 공간 도약 기법을 제안한다. 여기서는 최대-최소 옥트리를 생성하고 옥트리의 루트 노드부터 정점분할을 이용하여 빈 공간을 식별한다. 찾아낸 빈 공간을 삭제함으로써 볼륨 데이터에서 의미 있는 객체를 둘러싸는 바운딩 다면체를 최소화 시킨다. 최소화 된 바운딩 다면체에 대해서만 렌더링을 진행함으로써 기존의 볼륨 광선 투사법과 비교하여 빠른 시간에 동일한 결과물을 생성한다.

저체중과 비만 청소년의 식습관, 운동, 체형인식과 체중조절 비교 (Comparison of Dietary Habits, Exercise, Recognized Body Shapes and Weight Control between Obesity and Underweight of Adolescents)

  • This study was conducted to determine major factors underweight and obesity by comparing and analyzing dietary habits, exercise and weight control of obesity and underweight of Adolescents. The subjects were 26,039 students and they were divided according Body Mass Index(BMI). The collected data was analyzed through frequency, percentage, chi-square test. The results were as follows. 1) Among the male students 67.3%, 32.7% and among the female ones 82.7% and 17.3% were included in the underweight and the obese groups, respectively. 2) For dietary habits, the rate of skipping breakfast(12.5%, 13.6%) was considerably higher than those of skipping lunch and dinner. 3) The females and the obese group received more stress, felt more unhappiness, grief, depression and thought more suicide than the males and the underweight group, respectively. 4) The underweight group had higher rate of strengthening exercise of males and females. 5) For self-recognized body shape, while in the underweight group had a wrong image of their body shape, while more males in the obese group had a distorted self body image. 6) Measures to control weight were regular exercise, reduced amount of diet, and the obese group controled their weight more actively than the underweight group of the male and the female students. 7) From these results, appropriate mental health programs and education programs about health knowledge, properly self-recognized body shape and measures to control weight were considered to be necessary.

전북 지역 한국 대학생과 중국 유학생의 식행동 및 생활 습관 비교 (Comparison of Dietary Behaviors and Lifestyles of Korean University Students and Chinese International Students in the Jeonbuk Area)

  • The study was conducted to investigate the dietary behaviors and lifestyles of Korean university students and Chinese international students in the Jeonbuk area. Self-administered questionnaires were collected from 241 Korean university students and 198 Chinese international students. Statistical data analysis was completed using SPSS v. 12.0. Breakfast-skipping among subjects was very common, and the most frequently given reason for skipping this meal was 'lack of time'. More than 85% of Korean male students and 75% of Korean female students reported regularly eating lunch in university canteens or restaurants around campus, whereas 86% of Chinese male students and 82% of Chinese female students regularly ate their lunches in university canteens or at home. About 62% of Korean male students, 72% of Korean female students, 48% of Chinese male students, and 70% of Chinese female students responded that they do not regularly eat dinner, the main reasons cited for this being 'irregularity of lifestyle' and 'part-time work'. Snack intake by the subjects was high. Beverages were the snack item most frequently consumed by Korean and Chinese male students, whereas cookies and fruits were most frequently consumed by Korean and Chinese female students. About 28% of Korean male students and 44% of Chinese male students were smokers, respectively. Half of Chinese female students drank alcohol once or twice a week. About 42% of Korean male students and 65% of Chinese male students played sports, respectively. Dietary behaviors and lifestyles of Korean and Chinese students tended to be very similar. Chinese students performed more health-oriented activities in comparison to Korean students. In conclusion, a practical and foreigner-friendly nutritional education program should be devised in order to correct the dietary behaviors and health-related lifestyles of Korean and Chinese students.
