In this Analysis using the evaluation data of public libraries located in Chungcheongnam-do, we compared and analyzed whether there was a difference in the average between the evaluation groups according to the size and institution of the public library, and analyzed the factors influencing the number of visitors to public libraries. The research data used public library evaluation data conducted in Chungcheongnam-do in 2020, and four areas of quantitative evaluation and nine detailed items were set as independent variables. Statistical analysis methods were T-test, ANOVA, and Regreesion. As a result of the analysis, it was found that there was a significant difference in the average of the evaluation group according to the affiliated organization and size. In addition, the factors affecting the number of visitors to public libraries were analyzed and presented. Implications were derived based on the analysis results, and can be used as a basis for establishing public library policies in the future.

In this study, we suggested a data structure for the management of human libraries based on the analysis of the significant components for systematically managing and operating the human library service. At first, we proposed the components of human library metadata set which are 'Human Resource', 'Human Resource', 'Librarian', 'Volunteer', and 'User'. And this study verified the meta concepts of metadata set such as 'Human Library', 'Human Book' and 'User', developed the metadata set for human library using the meta concepts. To check the validity of the metadata set and to improve its usability, we created and published a XML document including the metadata structure and link between the meta concepts. In conclusion, this study provided the possibility that the library could develop the service recommended human book to user through user profile.

Currently, collections with public libraries are evaluated only on the basis of simple data, such as the use volume of collections with individual libraries, and interlibrary lending (ILL) results. To promote the ILL of regional libraries and raise the use of collections, however, the evaluation of collections should be expanded from individual libraries to regional libraries. This study aims to propose user-oriented methods for evaluating the library collections within a regional library system by using four kinds of data: collection, acquisition, circulation, and ILL application data. The results of this study show that the proposed method can reveal the positions of each library within a regional library system, and also the characteristics of a library's collections and users' needs more precisely.

The purpose of this study is to discuss the application of the Latent Growth Model to measure the outcomes of public library. For outcome measurements, library circulation data were collected to identify longitudinal changes of library users' reading habit. The latent growth model was applied to statistically test the changes over time. The circulation data of 95,962 users registered in some public libraries in Seoul, ranged between 2010 and 2015, were analyzed using unconditional model, conditional model, and growth mixture model which all are called the latent growth model. The results show that the intercept of the model is 4.19 and the slop is 0.24 in the linear growth model. The gender difference in two latent variables including intercept and slop was a shade difference. The result from the growth mixture model analysis, additionally indicates that the number of books checked out by children under age 10 is rapidly increased. The application of the latent growth model in library fields is expected to widely spread out for the longitudinal data analysis.

The books and circulation-related data in the Online Public Access Catalog System of the H-Public library were collected and analyzed in this paper. The methods which may be applied to the Customer Relationship Management in a public library based on the results were also suggested here. Collected data were 57,927 bibliographic data of books, 11,871 patron data and 27,145 circulation records. The type of collections. circulation frequencies, total number of circulated books, publication year, and use factor as relation factor from the analyzed data of circulation records were extracted. They were also analyzed, and verified by various statistical methods such as correlation coefficient, non-parametric method, etc.

The purpose of this study is to understand the changes in human information behavior brought about by the pandemic situation. This study also examines the social context of data literacy as lifelong education. In addition, it was attempted to understand the changed environment and propose library services in the post-pandemic era based on predicted trends. In order to do this, two phenomena that are currently striking our society, datafication and the pandemic, were reviewed in general, and studies related to library information services in response to the pandemic were examined. Based on this, the social meaning of data literacy in the pandemic era was reconfirmed and the environmental changes faced by libraries were examined based on 20 trends suggested by IFLA. Through this process, the study was concluded by suggesting the implementation of data literacy and the direction of library services.

Optical library system consists of disc magazines, cabinets, transfer robot and drive. Transfer robot delivers desired disc or magazine in cabinet to drive which reads data of disc. Conventional archive system stores discs in a line and transfer robot moves in one dimension. However, to store more discs, new optical archive system, optical library system, is developed which stores discs in two dimension like bookcase. Transfer robot should know the position and stored data of desired magazine to get correct data. In this paper, addressing algorithm using optical character recognition is proposed. Proposed algorithm is evaluated by experiments with implemented system.

The writer obtained a Conclusion through this thesis as follows: First : There a n.0, ppeared that users, Cognition degree for librarian's Social status is very high. This study purpose to investigate the information needs of researcher necessary for portal service development in the science and technical library analyze the present status of information service and present the fundamental data. We collected the question survey targeted to member of science and technical library and the statistics data about information service and analyzed it for study method. This paper confers about the implementation of Knowledge Management (KM) in the National Library of Bangladesh (NLB). The main aim of this study was to investigate how the NLB goes about creating, implementing, disseminating, and applying knowledge within the organization. The other objectives of this paper were to identify the current status of KM in NLB and the understanding of different facets of KM by the staff of the National Library. The paper revealed that the situation of KM in NLB is not satisfactory. The paper also described the fact that the working environment supports the implementation but there needs to be some changes in the policies. Finally the research disclosed that NLB is a great place for implementing KM and has a large amount of possibilities for the adoption of KM. This qualitative research used the questionnaire as the main instrument for data collection. Finally, data has been processed and analyzed using SPSS and MS Excel.
