기업특성이 연구개발 정부지원 수혜에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Firm Characteristics on Qualification for Government R&D Supports)

  • 이 논문에서는 2008년 한국제조업혁신조사를 이용하여 다양한 기업특성이 연구개발 정부지원의 수혜에 어떠한 영향을 끼치는가를 분석한다. 분석에는 정부지원 수혜 여부를 다양한 기업특성에 대해 회귀분석한 프로빗 모형이 이용되었다. 이 논문은 연구개발 정부지원의 수혜대상 선정 문제를 프로그램 단위가 아닌 국가 전체의 차원에서 본격적으로 다루었다는 점에서 의의를 지니며, 특히 지역 및 산업 변수의 영향을 분석한 것은 최초의 시도로 평가될 수 있다. 또한, 정부지원의 사전적 정책목표의 달성 여부를 실증분석 결과에 비추어 평가한다. 분석 결과, 기업규모와 수출이 정부지원 수혜에 긍정적인 영향을 끼치는 것으로 나타났으며, 혁신기업 지정, 연구소 보유, 연구인력 등 기업이 보유한 혁신 역량 또한 수혜확률을 높이는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 산업별로는 화학산업과 자동차 산업이, 지역별로는 대경권 및 부경권이 특히 유리한 것으로 나타났다.

Geographic homogeneity and high gene flow of the pear psylla, $Cacopsylla$ $pyricola$ (Hemiptera: Psyllidae), detected by mitochondrial COI gene and nuclear ribosomal internal transcribed spacer 2

  • The pear psylla, $Cacopsylla$ $pyricola$ (Hemiptera: Psyllidae), is a serious insect pest of commercial pear crops. The species, which resides on pear trees throughout its life cycle, is rapidly spreading in some regions of the world. The population genetic structure of the species collected from several pear orchards in Korea was studied to understand the nature of dispersal and field ecology of the species. The 658-bp region of mitochondrial COI gene and the 716-bp long complete internal transcribed spacer 2 (ITS2) of the nuclear ribosomal DNA were sequenced. Unlike other previously studied insect pests, the COI-based genetic diversity of the pear psylla was extremely low (maximum sequence divergence of 0.15%). This finding allowed us to conclude that the species may have been introduced in Korea relatively recently. ITS2 sequence-based analyses of phylogeny, population differentiation, gene flow, and hierarchical population structure all concordantly suggested that the pear psylla populations in Korea are neither genetically isolated nor hampered for gene flow. These genetic data are concordant with the dispersal of an overwintering winterform morph outside the non-pear habitat in the fall.

공개데이터 기반 화장품산업의 중국 수출규모 영향 요인 연구 (Identifying factors for Cosmetic Export to China based on Open Data Source)

  • 지속적으로 산업시장이 고도화되면서 산업시장분석 역시 빅데이터 수준의 데이터 증가에 따라 분석 업무의 효율성 재고가 더욱 요구되고 있으며, 분석 관점역시 차원이 증가하며 분석 방법론의 새로운 적용 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 활용 가능한 공개데이터베이스의 탐색, 공개데이터 베이스 기반의 산업분석 사례 연구의 분석, 이슈의 선정 및 이슈 관련 산업의 선정, 선정된 이슈와 선정된 산업의 시장분석 주요 주제 파악, 해당 산업의 선정된 분석주제 분석을 위한 영향요인 탐색을 수행하였다. 또한 비공개 데이터를 활용하여 실제 이슈와 관련된 산업의 영향요인을 심층적으로 분석하여 관련 결과를 비교하였다. 이러한 목적에 따라 최근 정치사회적으로 이슈가 되었던 국내 사드(THHAD, 종말고고도지역방어) 배치로 인한 중국의 정치경제적 보복조치로 국내 화장품 산업의 대(對) 중국 수출에 대한 영향을 파악하기 위해 공개 데이터베이스에 기반한 주요 요인을 탐색하고 관련 요인을 파악하였다. 분석 결과 중국의 GDP 대비 재화 및 서비스 수입 비중, 상품 수입액, 인구 15-64세 여성 비중, 도시인구 비중이 지표로써 유의한 것으로 확인되었으며, 이외에 상업서비스 수입 대비 여행서비스비율도 유의미한 지표로 추정되었다. 그러나 사드 보복에 따른 화장품 산업의 중국 수출 규모 심층 연구 결과 중국의 사드 보복에 따른 제도적 조치는 없었으며, 수출 실적 상에서 한국 화장품에 대한 일시적 기간에(2017년 4월, 5월) 수출이 급감하였으며, 이는 한국 화장품에 대한 중국 소비자의 구매의향 및 구매율이 실직적으로 낮아진 것으로 추정되나 6월 이후 중국 화장품 수출 실적은 전년대비 다시 10%이상 성장하면서 지속적인 성장을 이루고 있는 것으로 확인된다.

초정압 방전램프(UCD)를 적용한 안전조명 장치에 관한 연구 (An Experimental Study on the a Light Device which Adopt Safety Ultra Constant Dischange Lamp)

  • This paper describes the development of various lighting equipment adapting Ultra Constant Discharge Lamp that has newly been on commercial supply in the market. Meeting the required conditions of lighting equipment, various types of UCD Lamp equipment with excellent performances could be successfully developed. In order to provide a guideline for the economical lighting product selection, the analyzed data comparison between Hi-pressure Sodium Lamp which has been the most popular lamp for street lighting and UCD Lamp is provided. The conclusions of the study are made as follows; (1) The performance measurement result of UCD Lamp shows excellent Luminous Efficacy as 108Lm/W, daylight-like Color Rendering Index as 90Ra, and the best operating temperature range as $-50^{\circ}C{\sim}+85^{\circ}C$. Comparing to the Hi-pressure Sodium Lamp, UCD could be evaluated as much superior products. (2) In an assembled status with the lighting fixture (Type STB형-60W), UCD Lamp was tested OK for one hour duration at the temperature range form $-50^{\circ}C$ to $+85^{\circ}C$ and the humidity of 98%. The operation at the extremely low temperature can be an excellent feature to enable the export to the cold temperature regions such as Northern Europe and Russia and the specific applications for defense systems and special industry. (3) As UCD Lamp is a genuine Korea made product following Energy-saving and Eco-friendly policy, it should be appreciated as one of the best $CO^2$ reduction Green product.

중국인, 일본인 대상 가정식사 대용식 개발을 위한 한식섭취 현황 및 요구도 조사 (Survey on the Status and Needs of Korean Food Consumption for the Development of Home Meal Replacement for Chinese and Japanese)

  • This study investigated the status of Korean food consumption and the need for home meal replacement of Korean food for Chinese and Japanese in order to export Korean food to China and Japan. In total, 78.2% of Chinese and 33.0% of Japanese showed significant differences in their experiences of visiting Korea. The most common place to consume Korean food was a Korean restaurant for Chinese (55.8%), whereas Japanese (44.9%) consumed Korean food at Korean restaurants in Japan. In the purchasing experience of Korean home meal replacement, 59.2% of Chinese and 40.5% of Japanese responded that they had 'purchase experience', and the reason for purchasing was 'delicious' (32.5%) for Chinese and 'convenience' (34.8 %) for Japanese. The place to purchase Korean home meal replacement was large marts in both countries. Most Chinese (92.2%) and Japanese (62.1%) respondents said they were willing to buy Korean home meal replacement. Both Chinese (54.8 %) and Japanese (48.0%) said that 'taste' was the most important factor to consider when developing Korean home meal replacement. The favorite tastes were 'spicy' (35.3%) for Chinese and 'savory' (38.8%) for Japanese. For the taste of Korean home meal replacement, Chinese answered that the product should be developed by maintaining 'Korean traditional taste as it is' (57.7%), whereas Japanese responded 'change according to the taste of Japanese' (65.2%). For the preferred packaging form of home meal replacement, Chinese preferred 'vacuum' package while the Japanese preferred 'frozen'. The results of this study can be used as basic data for domestic food companies to establish marketing strategies to enter the Chinese and Japanese home meal replacement markets.

무역기업의 FTA 활용 애로사항 및 지원방안에 대한 연구 (A Study on difficulties and support measures of FTA utilization in Korean Trading Firms)

  • 현재 우리나라의 FTA 활용률은 선진국의 경우에 비해 전반적으로 활용률이 낮다. 특히 한-ASEAN FTA의 경우 30% 대에 그치는 등 FTA 활용 제고가 시급한 과제로 부상하고 있다. 또한 무역기업이 FTA 특혜관세를 적용받는 비율도 저조한 것으로 평가되고 있어 활용률 제고가 최대 정책현안으로 나타나고 있다. 본 연구는 무역기업의 FTA 활용률을 높이기 위하여 실태분석을 실시하였다. 무역기업의 FTA 애로사항을 파악하였고, 무역기업의 FTA 활용교육과 컨설팅의 개선방안도 검토하였다. 이는 정부의 FTA 활용제고 시책 마련에 유용한 자료를 제공하는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구결과로 FTA를 활용한 무역기업의 수출확대, FTA 정책의 내실화, FTA 정책지지 기반강화에 기여할 것을 기대한다.

김 산업의 산업적 분화가 가지는 경제적 의의와 문제점 (Economical Meaning and Problem concerning Industrial Differentiation of Laver Industry)

  • This study is aimed to analyze economical meaning and problems on the industrial differentiation of Korean laver industry. Based on the surveyed data, the export value of korean laver has increased over 28 times for last 20 years($10 million to $300 million) and the separation of farming and processing was an important success factor of rapid growth of korean laver industry. However, the result of the survey shows that the farming profit is 534.1 won out of the total price for a bunch of dried laver, 3,566.3 won. So, farming profit counts for just 15 percent of total price. In contrast, the processing profit is 1,143.5 won and it is 32.1 percent of total price. This means that laver farmers are not being guaranteed their profit properly. This phenomenon is occurred due to lower status of first-hand processors(which produce dried laver) to second-hand processors(which produce seasoned laver) due to advanced payment given by second-hand processors. So, fist-hand processors should provide their product in the price which was designated by second-hand processors. Besides, despite of many business risks caused from climate change and environmental pollution, the market price of raw laver has steadily decreased. For sustainable prosperity of korean laver industry, imbalance on korean laver industry concerning profit sharing is need to be changed. In future, self-processing of dried laver in fishery household and enhancing the role of The Fisheries Cooperative Union in laver industry can be considered.

Systems Biology and Emerging Technologies Will Catalyze the Transition from Reactive Medicine to Predictive, Personalized, Preventive and Participatory (P4) Medicine

  • We stand at the brink of a fundamental change in how medicine will be practiced. Over the next 5-20 years medicine will move from being largely reactive to being predictive, personalized, preventive and participatory (P4). Technology and new scientific strategies have always been the drivers of revolutions and this is certainly the case for P4 medicine, where a systems approach to disease, new and emerging technologies and powerful computational tools will open new windows for the investigation of disease. Systems approaches are driving the emergence of fascinating new technologies that will permit billions of measurements on each individual patient. The challenge for health information technology will be how to reduce this enormous amount of data to simple hypotheses about health and disease. We predict that emerging technologies, together with the systems approaches to diagnosis, therapy and prevention will lead to a down turn in the escalating costs of healthcare. In time we will be able to export P4 medicine to the developing world and it will become the foundation of global medicine. The "democratization" of healthcare will come from P4 medicine. Its first real emergence will require the unprecedented integration of biology, medicine, technology and computation. as well as societal issues of major importance: ethical, regulatory, public policy, economic, and others. In order to effectively move the P4 scientific agenda forward new strategic partnerships are now being created with the large-scale integration of complementary skills, technologies, computational tools, patient records and samples and analysis of societal issues. It is evident that the business plans of every sector of the healthcare industry will need to be entirely transformed over the next 10 years.and the extent to which this will be done by existing companies as opposed to newly created companies is a fascinating question.

국제여객터미널의 컨테이너화물 기종점 분석 - 인천항을 중심으로 - (The Origin/Destination Analysis of Container Cargo in International Passenger Terminals - Focused on Incheon Port -)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 인천항 국제여객터미널의 컨테이너화물 기종점 분석을 통해 향후 한중 카페리 컨테이너 화물유치를 위한 마케팅 자료와 인천 남항에 신축 예정인 국제여객터미널 개발에 필요한 정책적 제언을 하는데 있다. 인천항 국제여객터미널 화물 기종점 분석결과 컨테이너화물 처리량은 인천항 전체의 20%를 차지하고 있으며, 인천항 화물의 증가와 더불어 증가하고 있다. 화물의 국내이동 경로는 인천, 서울, 경기 등 수도권 지역에 집중화 되어 있다. 수출화물 물동량의 경우 전체화물의 71.4%가 수도권으로부터 유입되고 있으며, 수입화물은 전체화물의 87.7%가 수도권으로 이동하고 있다. 이에 수도권 화물의 편중현상이 강한 국제여객터미널 카페리 항로의 물동량을 늘리기 위해서 수도권 이외의 지역 물량을 유치하기 위한 마케팅 전략을 제시하였다. 또한 인천항은 남항에 신규 건설 예정인 국제여객터미널의 개발에 필요한 시사점과 세계적인 공항인 인천국제공항과 인접하여 있어 해륙간 육송(Sea & Air)화물의 신규창출을 위한 글로벌 마케팅전략을 제시하였다.

우리나라 수산업의 시기별 특징과 구조변화에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Periodic Characteristics and the Structural Change in Korean Fisheries)

  • The fisheries industry has been changed drastically during the so - called Golden Growth Era of Korea. Recently, WTO/DDA agenda drove industries out of their safe refuges toward infinite competitions in the world. This paper aims at finding out distinguished features in the structural changes of fisheries since 70s. Furthermore, policy implications are investigated in order for the fisheries to survive in the outdoors. The paper consists of the following sections. First, we consider why and for what the structural change of fisheries in historical perspective should be investigated. And we introduce how we can approach to the goal in various aspects in the second section. In the third section, we examine the historical change of Korean fisheries in respect of national economy, resource allocation mechanism, industrial structure, and fisheries society. In the fourth section, we extract the development steps in fisheries from the periodic characteristics, using various methods of the above approaches. And we deduce the next step for Korean fisheries in the future. Finally, we conclude that there needs some turning point of fisheries policies in Korea, striving to foster the fisheries industry in the future. As results of empirical analysis in this paper, we find that fisheries industry in Korea has experienced some momentous changes during 30 years, using I/O data of B.O.K. The weight of fisheries sector in the whole economy of Korea increased during early 70s, initially leading the national economy to export - oriented engine for growth. But fisheries sector has shrunk rapidly since late 70s. Almost resources in Korea were allocated to expanding manufacturing industries. Further, fisheries industry has encountered perfect international competitions since the late 90s. This paper draws that fisheries industry in Korea will jump across to next step of qualitative growth in the future. Therefore, we recommend that the policies should be focused on enhancing the industrial competitiveness, switching quantitative growth to qualitative advance in fisheries.
