윤리교육이 간호사의 도덕판단에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Ethics Education on Nurse덕s Moral Judgement)

  • This main purpose of this study was to assess the effects of two different types of ethics education on the moral judgement of clinical nurses. One type was free discussions among nurses with given specific moral issues and the other type was discussions guided by experts on specific moral issues. The study employed a quasi-experimental, nonequivalent pre test-post test design using two different control groups. The conceptual framework of the study was derived from the Kohlberg′s Moral Development Theory (1969) and the Greipp′s Ethical Decision-Making Model (1992). The data was collected during the period of October 14 through December 15, 1998. Sample consists of 32 nurses working in the ICU who met research criteria. 16 nurses were assigned to the free discussion group and 16 nurses to the group for the guided discussion with experts group. For the pre-test, the DIT which was developed by Rest (1984) and JAND by Ketefian (1998) were used with some modification by the author. After the education, only JAND was used to assess the changes in moral judgement. The collected data was analysed using SPSS PC program. The findings are as follows: 1. There was no significant difference between two groups in their general characteristics. Only difference which was statistically significant between two groups was that realistic score on Case 3/Medical Research and Autopsy was higher in the free discussion group. 2. Hypothesis 1: "There will be a difference on the moral judgement of nurses before and after they receive an ethics education". This hypothesis was supported partially. Those who had low scores on moral judgement before the education tended to have higher scores after the education on the same issues. And, after the education, the nurses tend to give lower scores on the dilemmas they had experienced frequently at work; while giving higher scores on those dilemmas they had no prior experience. 3. Hypothesis 2: "The effect of education may differ depended upon the moral development index [P(%)] score of nurses". The effect of education was different depend on moral development level. The group who′s P(%) scores was low at the pretest has higher scores in realistic moral judgement after the education, while the groups with middle or high P(%) scores went down after the education. These changes were statistically significant in some cases, thus, the Hypothesis 2 was partially supported 4. Hypothesis 3: "The method of ethics education will have different effects on the moral judgement of nurses". Even though several nurses attended the guided discussion stated that the education program broadend their perspectives the difference between two groups was not significant and this hypothesis was not supported. In conclusion, both types of ethics education had helped the nurses to acquire the skills to deal some nursing dilemmas. The effects of ethics education may differ according to the moral development index - P(%) score. However, because of some of the limitations of this study, mainly small sample size, short term education, unable to control other variables which may affect moral judgement of nurses, further research is warranted.er research is warranted.

간호대학생의 경제의식에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Consciousness of Economic Ethics in Nursing Students)

  • Purpose : The present study attempted to consider the degree of consciousness of economic ethics in nursing students and the factors affecting these perceptions. Method : A survey was conducted to a total of 874 nursing students from the freshmen and seniors of 11 depts of nursing science nationwide selected by convenience sampling (one for each province, and as for Gangwon-do, two schools were selected from Yeongdong area and Yeongseo area ; 13 male students were excluded). A structured questionnaire was used to collect data on their demographic characteristics and economic ethical perceptions. Collected data were analyzed using the SAS V8.1 statistical package. Result : (1) The score for the economic ethical consciousness of the subjects was $36.76{\pm}10.20$. As for each sub-categories, the score for industry was $7.67{\pm}2.77$; thrift, $7.42{\pm}2.37$; cooperation, $7.41{\pm}2.21$; occupational consciousness, $7.18{\pm}2.20$; and, for consumption, $7.02{\pm}1.90$. The score for the consciousness of consumption was the lowest. (2) Among the demographic characteristics of the subjects, age was found to have a statistically significant positive relation to the consciousness of economic ethics(r=.13, p<.001). The next significant factor was grade: seniors seemed to have a higher economic consciousness in all the sub-categories than freshmen(t=-4.32, p<.001). The number of in-home family has a statistically significant negative correlation with economic attitudes(r=-.15, p<.001). In addition, their economic ethical perceptions were significantly higher with no religion (t=2.14, p<.05); have an unemployed father (t=2.78, p<.05); have credit cards under their own names (t=3.04, p<.05); have ever had overdue card bills (t=4.25, p<.001); have ever had part time job(t=1.74, p<.1) and when they don't live with their parents (t=-2.01, p<.05). 3) A multiple regression analysis was conducted to examine the influential power of the factors affecting the consciousness of economic ethics of the subjects. The factors had more influence on the economic attitudes of the seniors than those of freshmen; in those who having credit cards under their own names than under others; and, in those who have ever experienced credit default than those haven't. Though these factors raised average 3.0 points of economic consciousness, their expository power for the consciousness were low. Conclusion : The nursing students had medium-high consciousness of economic ethics and they seemed to have low consciousness of the proper consumption practices. Their actual life experiences had an influence on their economic attitudes. Therefore, practical programs on economic knowledge should be developed and taught to students systematically at school so that they could have sound consciousness of economic ethics and appropriate knowledge closely related with their real life.

대학생의 인터넷 정보윤리 준수 실태 측정과 분석 (Measurement and Analysis of the Internet Ethics Observance among Undergraduate Students in Korea)

  • 우리나라의 정보화는 세계적으로 높은 수준을 기록하고 있으며 사회 전 영역에서 인터넷 이용이 일상화되었으나 매체적 특성으로 인한 역기능의 폐해가 심각한 사회문제로 대두되었다. 본 연구는 온라인 문화를 주도하는 대학생을 대상으로 설문조사를 수행하여(N=830) 정보윤리준수 실태를 파악하고 개선책을 제시하기 위한 것이다. 구체적으로 정보예절 인식, 정보규범 실태, 온라인신뢰 수준을 측정하고 분석하였으며, 개인적 배경과 관련 교육경험 등의 변인에 따른 차이를 검증하였다. 응답자들의 정보예절 인식 수준은 낮은 편이며, 6가지 범주의 정보규범에서 모두 일탈 정도가 크고, 온라인신뢰 수준은 일반대중보다 낮다. 정보예절 인식 수준은 성별과 학년에 따라, 정보규범 수준은 성별에 따라 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 나타났으며, 교육경험은 정보윤리에 영향을 미치지 못한 것으로 나타났다. 분석결과에 기초하여 윤리 수준을 제고시키기 위한 방안을 제언하였다.

The Research of Ethical Consciousness for Physical Therapy Student

  • PURPOSE: The aim of this study was to examine the ethical values of physical therapy. This study was launched to establish a foundation for this field of study by gathering data about current topic of ethical values in the field of physical therapy. METHODS: This investigation was conducted with 900 students from seven different universities in the Republic of Korea (three, four-year colleges. The methodology of this research was directed at revamping and supplementing ethical codes in the Korean Physical Therapy Association and establishing a set of ethics-related questions as inspired by the studies conducted by Youk and Choi. Each question was assigned a different point-value according to the standards of measurement that we established. RESULTS: The scores of participants and their sibling status, it appears that whether participants had siblings did significantly impact their ethical outlook. The scores based on sibling one and two siblings, more than three siblings, no sibling were 29.42, 29.03, 28.25, and 28.19, respectively (p<.05). But in examining the average ethics scores with regards to reported past experiences with ethics education, we can see that past experience significantly impacted the results of the study on medical ethics perceptions. The scores corresponding to responses that one did or did not have prior experience were 29.40 versus 28.99. CONCLUSION: It is crucial to assure that physical therapy students receive well-founded information and proper ethical value. We suggest that create an ethics education program to enhance physical therapists and physical therapy students.

생명의료윤리와 뇌사자 장기기증 교육이 간호대학생의 생명의료윤리 의식과 장기기증 지식에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Biomedical Ethics and Brain-Death Organ Donation Education on Biomedical Ethics Awareness and Brain-Death Organ Donation Knowledge of Nursing students)

  • 본 연구는 생명윤리의식과 뇌사자의 장기기증에 대한 교육을 받은 학생과 받지 않은 학생의 생명의료 윤리의식과 뇌사자 장기기증 지식을 측정하고 비교하기 위한 비동등성 대조군 유사 실험연구이다. 연구대상자는 C시에 소재한 1개 대학 간호학과에 재학 중인 2학년 학생 76명을 대상으로 하였으며, 실험군 37명에게는 생명윤리의식과 뇌사자 장기기증에 대한 교육을 제공하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 23.0프로그램을 이용하여 Fisher's exact test, t-test, ANCOVA로 분석하였다. 검증결과 뇌사자 장기기증에 관한 지식이 실험군과 대조군 두 집단간 유의한 차이(F=35.21, p=.000)가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이에 간호대학생의 생명의료윤리에 대한 교육과 생명의료윤리 의식에 영향을 미치는 변수를 고려한 교육과정 개발이 이루어져야 할 것이다.

간호대학생의 전공만족도, 생명의료윤리인식이 간호전문직관에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Nursing Students Satisfaction in Major and Consciousness of Biomedical Ethics on Nursing Professionalism)

  • Purpose : This study is a descriptive survey research that examines the effect of nursing students' satisfaction in major and consciousness of biomedical ethics on nursing professionalism. Methods : The research subjects consisted of junior and senior nursing students enrolled in four colleges located in City B, South Korea Structured questionnaires were distributed to the subject and a total of 262 copies of survey responses were analyzed. The collected data were analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation, t-test, and analysis of variance (ANOVA) using SPSS/WIN 22.0 program. The correlation relationship was investigated based on the Pearson correlation coefficient. Multiple regression was used to capture the effect on the nursing professionalism. Results : A positive correlation was observed between the nursing students satisfaction in major and consciousness of biomedical ethics (r=.280, p<.001), between satisfaction in major and nursing professionalism (r=.581, p<.001), and between consciousness of biomedical ethics and nursing professionalism (r=.290, p<.001). General satisfaction (β=.227, p=.001), and relationship satisfaction (β=.248, p=.000) among major satisfaction had the strongest prediction power for the nursing professionalism of nursing students, followed by right to life of fetus (β=.190, p=.000) among consciousness of biomedical ethics and motivation for admission (β=.137, p=.006). These predictors explained 36.9 % of the variable of nursing professionalism. Conclusion : Based on this study result, repeated studies are required that can confirm diverse influential factors on the nursing professionalism of nursing students. Operation of curriculums and development of programs that increase the nursing students' satisfaction in major and foster their nursing professionalism are required in the future.

간호대학생의 간호전문직관, 생명의료윤리의식 및 자기성찰지능 간 상관관계연구 (The Relationship between Nursing Professionalism, Consciousness of Biomedical Ethics and Intrapersonal Intelligence in the Nursing Students)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생의 간호전문직관, 생명의료윤리의식 및 자기성찰지능 간의 상관관계를 확인하여 간호전문직관의 긍정적인 정립을 위한 효과적인 교육전략의 기초자료를 얻기 위해 시도되었다. 대상자는 G시에 재학 중인 간호대학생 159명이며, 자료수집 기간은 2018년 12월 3일부터 12월 7일(5일간)이었다. 자료 분석은 SPSS 22.0 프로그램으로 분석하였다. 연구결과 간호대학생의 간호전문직관은 3.97로 사회적 인식이 낮았으며 생명의료윤리의식은 2.95로 신생아 생명권이 가장 높고 인공임신중절과 안락사가 낮았다. 자기성찰지능은 3.79로 자기반성과 자기이해는 높으나 자기설계가 낮았다. 간호전문직관은 생명의료윤리의식과 자기성찰지능과 정적 상관관계를 나타냈다. 결과적으로 간호대학생의 간호전문직관의 긍정적인 정립을 위한 간호교육 전략은 자기계발을 향상시킬 수 있는 자기성찰지능 증진 교육과 간호전문직관의 토대를 다루는 교육이 제공되어야 할 필요가 있겠다.

간호대학생의 생명의료윤리의식과 비판적 사고성향이 간호전문직관에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Biomedical Ethics and Critical Thinking Disposition on Nursing Professionalism in Nursing College Students)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생의 생명의료윤리의식과 비판적 사고성향이 간호전문직관에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 시도되었다. 본 연구는 2021년 5월부터 6월까지 충청남도 S대학의 간호대학생 144명을 대상으로 구조화된 설문을 통해 데이터를 수집하였다. 자료의 분석은 기술통계, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe test, Pearson's 상관관계 분석, 다중회귀분석을 이용하였다. 본 연구의 결과 간호대학생의 간호전문직관은 생명의료윤리의식과 비판적 사고성향에 유의한 양의 상관관계(r=.400, p<.001, r=.431, p<.001)가 있었다. 간호대학생의 간호전문직관에 영향을 미치는 요인은 학년(𝛽=0.303, p<.001), 생명의료윤리의식(𝛽=0.287, p<.001)과 비판적 사고성향(𝛽=0.294, p<.001)이었고, 설명력은 31.2%였다. 본 연구의 결과로 간호대학생의 간호전문직관을 높여주기 위해 생명의료윤리의식과 비판적 사고성향을 높여주는 것이 필요하며, 그 방안으로는 학생의 학년을 고려한 생명의료윤리의식과 비판적 사고성향 프로그램의 개발과 적용이 있다.

5G 정보환경 정보전문가를 위한 윤리 리터러시 교육과정 모형연구 (Ethics-Literacy Curriculum Modeling for Ethical Practice of 5G Information Professionals)

  • 본 연구는 5G 신기술에 가장 민감한 세대의 윤리 행태를 권장하는 일환으로 미래 정보전문가를 희망하는 주체를 위한 윤리 리터러시(Ethics-Literacy) 교육과정모형 개발을 목적으로 한다. 연구 범위의 핵심 주제인 5G 특성, 리터러시, 윤리 쟁점, 6C 역량기반 교육, 이용자 경험 등을 주제어로 최근 5년 이내(2022-2017) 출간된 국내외 학술 연구자료를 조사하고 내용분석으로 최종 86편을 연구대상으로 선정하여 문헌 연구가 진행되었다. 분석 결과가 제시하는 것은 첫째, 기존의 리터러시는 5G 환경에 대응된 네 영역으로 구분될 수 있고 둘째, 분석된 윤리 쟁점은 모든 리터러시 영역에서 보이는 공통 쟁점과 각 리터러시 영역별 특수 쟁점으로 비교 구분되었다. 분석된 결과와 4차 산업혁명 교육방식으로 제시된 6C 역량기반 교육을 바탕으로 대학 차원의 5G 정보환경 정보전문가를 위한 윤리 리터러시 교육과정모형을 개발하여 제시하였다.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 간호대학생을 대상으로 생명의료윤리 교육 이수에 따른 간호대학생의 생명의료윤리 의식, 관련지식, 인식 및 태도의 차이를 파악한 서술적 조사연구이다. 간호학과 112명을 대상으로 자가 보고식 설문지를 이용하여 자료를 수집하였고 t-test, Chi-Square test, Fisher's exact probability test, Pearson's correlation coefficient로 분석하였다. 두 그룹간에 생명의료윤리 의식의 하위 영역 중 인공수정, 안락사, 장기이식에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 나타내었다. 생명의료윤리 의식은 인체조직기증 및 이식에 관한 태도, 죽음에 대한 인식, 호스피스 완화의료 인식에서 유의한 양의 상관관계가 있었다. 본 연구결과 간호대학생은 생명의료윤리 교육에 참여한 후 인공수정, 안락사, 장기이식에 대한 의식이 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였고, 생명의료윤리 의식은 인체조직기증 및 이식에 관한 태도, 죽음에 대한 인식, 호스피스 완화의료 인식과 관련이 있으므로 이를 토대로 생명의료윤리 교육과정에 죽음, 호스피스 완화의료, 인체조직기증 및 이식 관련 다양한 교육과정의 개발 및 적용에 대한 연구가 필요함을 제언한다. 또한 본 연구의 대상자가 일개 대학교를 대상으로 한 연구여서 본 연구결과를 일반화하는데 무리가 있다고 보아 추후 반복연구를 제언하는 바이다.
