움직임 물체 검출 기반 학원 통학차량 승하차 위험 경고 시스템 (Motion Object Detection Based Hagwon-Bus Boarding Danger Warning System)

  • In this paper, a hagwon-bus boarding danger warning system based on computer vision is proposed to protect children from an accident causing injuries or death. Three zones are defined and different algorithms are applied to detect moving objects. In zone 1, a block-based entropy value is calculated using the absolute difference image generated by the absolute differential estimation between background image and incoming video frame. In zone 2, an effective and robust motion object tracking algorithm is performed based on the particle filter. Experimental results demonstrate the efficient and effectively of the algorithm for moving object inspection in each zone.

  • The advanced computer network technology enables connectivity of computers through an open network environment. There has been growing numbers of security threat to the networks. Therefore, it requires intrusion detection and prevention technologies. In this paper, we propose a network based intrusion detection model using Fuzzy Cognitive Maps(FCM) that can detect intrusion by the Denial of Service(DoS) attack detection method adopting the packet analyses. A DoS attack appears in the form of the Probe and Syn Flooding attack which is a typical example. The Sp flooding Preventer using Fuzzy cognitive maps(SPuF) model captures and analyzes the packet information to detect Syn flooding attack. Using the result of analysis of decision module, which utilized FCM, the decision module measures the degree of danger of the DoS and trains the response module to deal with attacks. The result of simulating the "KDD ′99 Competition Data Set" in the SPuF model shows that the Probe detection rates were over 97 percentages.

  • Hearing impaired people are apt to be in danger because they can't detect danger with sound. Hearing impaired people have less risk-detection ability than non-disabled people because of lack of hearing. There are many devices to help the hearing impaired, such as hearing aids. A hearing aids can be helpful, but it may not be available depending on the degree or type of hearing loss for example, to the hearing-impaired people with little remaining hearing of high frequencies, ordinary hearing aids are not very useful for understanding the high frequency consonants and it requires a high cost, from thousands to tens of thousands of dollars. Also, it is difficult for the underprivileged, such as the low-income bracket and the elderly, to use them because they are difficult to manage. Therefore, this paper describes the development of low-cost wearable device to assistant a hearing-impaired people using Arduino. Also, it accepts values from switches or sensors and can control external electronic devices such as LEDs and motors to create objects that can interact with the environment. In this is paper, through sound sensors, the ambient sound was taken as an analogue value and transmitted to the aduino board, and the vibration motor was operated when the noise was generated, so that the user could be aware of the occurrence of danger.

딥러닝 기반의 운전자의 안전/위험 상태 인지 시스템 개발 (Development of Driver's Safety/Danger Status Cognitive Assistance System Based on Deep Learning)

  • In this paper, we propose Intelligent Driver Assistance System (I-DAS) for driver safety. The proposed system recognizes safety and danger status by analyzing blind spots that the driver cannot see because of a large angle of head movement from the front. Most studies use image pre-processing such as face detection for collecting information about the driver's head movement. This not only increases the computational complexity of the system, but also decreases the accuracy of the recognition because the image processing system dose not use the entire image of the driver's upper body while seated on the driver's seat and when the head moves at a large angle from the front. The proposed system uses a convolutional neural network to replace the face detection system and uses the entire image of the driver's upper body. Therefore, high accuracy can be maintained even when the driver performs head movement at a large angle from the frontal gaze position without image pre-processing. Experimental result shows that the proposed system can accurately recognize the dangerous conditions in the blind zone during operation and performs with 95% accuracy of recognition for five drivers.

지뢰탐지를 위한 궤도로봇의 설계와 가능성 연구 (Design and Feasibility Study of a Tracked Robot for Landmine Detection)

  • Millions of landmines still have been buried in various countries around the world. Unfortunately, landmines make the correct detection of humanitarian organizations very difficult. For this purpose, new technologies such as improved sensors, efficient manipulators and mobile robots are needed. Our effort is to develop a small mobile robot for landmine detection. The mobile robot consists of sensor module, GPS, RF communications equipment, IR camera, motors, and controllers, etc. This paper describes the current configuration of development in landmine detecting tracked robot. Specifically we are concerned with the sensor module of the mobile robot. Our results show that graphs have measured a small metal instead of a real landmine because of the big danger of students experiments on detection with real landmines.

  • 도보 위 위험 알림이란 사람이 지나다닐 수 있는 길을 파악하고 길 위에서 사용자에게 접근하는 위협적인 장애물들을 탐지하고 알려주는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 Computer Vision의 Semantic Segmentation을 이용하여 사람이 다닐 수 있는 길을 구분하고 YOLO 사물 인식 알고리즘을 이용하여 시각장애인에게 접근하는 위협적인 장애물들을 탐지하여 알려줄 수 있는 시스템을 제시한다. 해당 시스템은 실용성을 고려하여 모바일 환경에서 이용할 수 있도록 구현하였으며, 서버와의 연동을 통해 실시간으로 사용자에게 사물 인식의 결과를 알려준다.

  • 가까운 거리에서 상대선과의 마주치는 상황 또는 교차된 상황에서 상호 피항동작을 취하게 되는데, 상대선박의 변침의도를 정확히 파악하지 못해 서로 같은 방향으로 피항동작을 취함으로써 충돌위험에 처하게 되기도 한다. 항해사는 피항동작을 취함에 있어 시각에 의한 판단, 레이더 또는 AIS 벡터를 이용한 판단, 또는 VHF 통신을 활용하여 피항동작을 취하고 있으나, 레이더 및 AIS를 이용한 기존의 방식은 선박이 선회 후 선수방위가 표시되기 때문에 선회를 탐지하기까지는 상당한 시간이 요구된다. 따라서 조타기 작동 신호를 상대선박에 신속하게 전달하여 상대선의 선회의도를 보다 신속히 판단할 수 있는 선회조기감지 방안을 제안하였다. 이러한 방법은 상대선의 변침의도를 보다 신속하게 파악함으로써 선박 상호간 충돌예방에 효과적이며, VTS 시스템 및 해양사고 분석에서 활용이 가능하다.

Human Detection in Overhead View and Near-Field View Scene

  • Human detection techniques in outdoor scenes have been studied for a long time to watch suspicious movements or to keep someone from danger. However there are few methods of human detection in overhead or near-field view scenes, while lots of human detection methods in far-field view scenes have been developed. In this paper, a set of five features useful for human detection in overhead view scenes and another set of four useful features in near-field view scenes are suggested. Eight feature-candidates are first extracted by analyzing geometrically varying characteristics of moving objects in samples of video sequences. Then highly contributed features for each view scene to classifying human from other moving objects are selected among them by using a neural network learning technique. Through experiments with hundreds of moving objects, we found that each set of features is very useful for human detection and classification accuracy for overhead view and near-field view scenes was over 90%. The suggested sets of features can be used effectively in a PTZ camera based surveillance system where both the overhead and near-field view scenes appear.

  • Advancement in information technology have enabled applying vision sensor to railway, such as CCTV. CCTV has been widely used in railway application, however the CCTV is a passive system that provide limited capability to maintain safety from boarding platform. The station employee should monitor continuously CCTV monitors. Therefore immediate recognition and response to the situation is difficultin emergency situation. Recently, urban transit operators are pursuing applying an unattended station operation system for their cost reduction. Therefore, an intelligent monitoring system is need for passenger's safety in railway. The paper proposes a vision based monitoring system and object detection algorithm for passenger's safety in railway platform. The proposed system automatically detects accident in platform and analyzes level of danger using image processing technology. The system uses stereo vision technology with multi-sensors for minimizing detection error in various railway platform conditions.

  • 본 논문에서는 물체 탐지 알고리즘 중 하나인 Faster R-CNN과 컴퓨터 비전을 목적으로 한 프로그래밍 라이브러리인 OpenCV를 사용하여 차선 변경이 가능한 고속도로나 국도, 일반 도로 등의 블랙박스 영상에서 다른 차량이 자신의 차선으로 차선 변경을 시도할 때 위험을 감지 할 수 있는 시스템을 구현하였다. 또한, 구현한 시스템의 성능을 평가하여 성능이 나쁘지 않음을 증명하였다.
