Implementation of Digital Laser Doppler Flowmetry using DSP (DSP를 이용한 디지털 레이저 도플러 혈류계의 구현)

  • 본 연구에서는 FFT와 파라메트릭 방법에 의한 혈류 추정방법을 연구하고 디지털 신호처리 프로세서를 이용하여 레이저 도플러 혈률계를 구현하였다. 레이저 도플러 혈류계는 피부의 모세혈류의 흐름을 측정할수 있는 장비로서 다양한 분야에 활용이 가능하다. 구현된시스템은 TI사의 TMS320C32 DSP를 사용하였으며, 전력 스펙트럼의 모멘트값을 이용하여 혈류를 추정하였다. 혈류 추정 값은 매 0.5초마다 그래픽 사용자 인터페이스를 통해서 표시하도록 하였다. 시스템의 성능을 평가하기 위해서 혈류 시뮬레이터에 흐르는 혈류를 계단함수, 삼각함수, 사인함수로 제어하여 그 결과를 비교하였으며 인체 부위에 따른 혈류를 측정하였다. 실험결과 구현된시스템의 혈류 추정성 및 재현성이 보장되고있음을 확인할수 있었다.

  • In this paper, the design and the implementation of the controller for an articulate robot, which is developed in our Automatic Control Laboratory, are mainly discussed. The controller reduces software computational load via distributed processing method using multiple CPU's, and simplifies structures by the time-division control with TMS320C31 DSP chip. The method of control is based on the fuzzy-compensated PID control with scale factor, which compensates for the influence of load variation resulting from the various postures of the robot with conventional PID scheme. The application of the proposed controller to the robot system with DC servo-motors shows some excellent control capabilities. Also, the response characteristics of system for the various trajectory commands verify the superiority of the controller.

  • The realization for code domain analyzing system on WCDMA is presented. This system is realized with the RF, FPGA and DSP processor. The FPGA firgures out the scambling code, and DSP produces the power of code domain using OVSF. The experiment results allow the code domain power accuracy to keep $\pm$1dB low. This system leads to split the text, sound and image signal.

  • Recently, collision avoidance systems are under development to reduce the traffic accidents and driver comfort for automotive radar. Pulse radar can detect their range and velocities of moving vehicles using range gate and FFT(Fast Fourier Transform) of the doppler frequency. We designed the real time DSP(Digital Signal Processing) based automotive UWB(Ultra Wideband) radar, and implemented DSP to detect the range and velocity within 100ms for real time system of the automotive UWB radar. We also measured the range and velocity of a moving vehicle using designed automotive UWB radar in a real road environment.

  • In this paper, we studied the design and implementation of fading compensation systems at aspects of narrowband mobile communication using TTIB SSB. The mobile radio channel with multipath fading places fundamental limitations on the performance of wireless communication systems. The multipath fading is compensated using pilot tone in TTIB SSB. The TTIB transceiver was implemented using the prevailing digital signal processing (DSP) techniques and compensation for the multipath fading was incorporated in the receiver in the form of DSP algorithm. In order to evaluate fading compensation performance in TTIB transceiver, we first used computer simulation. In the simulation results, we found that the TTIB transceiver could compensate for the multipath fading as expected. Second, we carried out some experiments on TTIB transceiver implementation with DSP boards and later with hardwares including RF circuits with center frequency of 145MHz. Through these experiments, we found that fading compensation performance in TTIB transceiver was almost as good as that obtained from simulation.

  • We propose a remote controller for a SCARA typed direct drive manipulator with two degrees-of-freedom(DOF). A remote controller system for SCARA robot of DDA is designed using a 2 DSP (TMS320c31) board and Winsock(Internet program class library supplied by Microsoft). The design objective of the system is to implement real time dynamic control algorithms which have been tested only by simulations so far and remote control regardless of the distance between user and robot. Because this system runs on Win95, we developed a VxD program to communicate with DSP controller.

  • 자기 부유기는 전자력을 이용해서 자성 재료를 공중에 떠있게 할 수 있는 장치이다. 자기 부유기는 근본적으로 비선형이며 불안정한 시스템으로서 제어에 많은 어려움이 따른다. 본 논문에서는 비선형 시스템을 국부적으로 선형화해서 모델링하고, 위치가변제어를 수행할 수 있도록 비례미분 위치제어기를 설계하였다. 시뮬레이션과 DSP를 이용한 자기부유기 제작 및 실험으로 위치제어 응답성능을 검증하였다.

  • This paper describes development of a real-time voice dialing system which can recognize around one hundred word vocabularies in speaker independent mode. The voice recognition algorithm in this system is implemented on a DSP board with a telephone interface plugged in an IBM PC AT/486. In the DSP board, procedures for feature extraction, vector quantization(VQ), and end-point detection are performed simultaneously in every 10 msec frame interval to satisfy real-time constraints after detecting the word starting point. In addition, we optimize the VQ codebook size and the end-point detection procedure to reduce recognition time and memory requirement. The demonstration system has been displayed in MOBILAB of the Korean Mobile Telecom at the Taejon EXPO'93.

  • In this paper, the real time characteristics analyzing system is proposed to analyze characteristics of inverter. The system is consisted of DSP unit and personal computer. Conventionally, power conversion system is designed by the load and the use. And control characteristics for the designed power conversion system is evaluated by the control input. In order to study of control methods, power conversion system is required for a study of control methods and observed system is required for a analyzing of the inverter. Inverter system is consisted to evaluate for proposed real time characteristics analyzing system. And induction motor is driven by control input that is manufactured by personal computer. Output of inverter and control characteristics is variously analyzed.
