Development and Verification of Smart Greenhouse Internal Temperature Prediction Model Using Machine Learning Algorithm (기계학습 알고리즘을 이용한 스마트 온실 내부온도 예측 모델 개발 및 검증)

  • This study developed simulation model for predicting the greenhouse interior environment using artificial intelligence machine learning techniques. Various methods have been studied to predict the internal environment of the greenhouse system. But the traditional simulation analysis method has a problem of low precision due to extraneous variables. In order to solve this problem, we developed a model for predicting the temperature inside the greenhouse using machine learning. Machine learning models are developed through data collection, characteristic analysis, and learning, and the accuracy of the model varies greatly depending on parameters and learning methods. Therefore, an optimal model derivation method according to data characteristics is required. As a result of the model development, the model accuracy increased as the parameters of the hidden unit increased. Optimal model was derived from the GRU algorithm and hidden unit 6 (r2 = 0.9848 and RMSE = 0.5857℃). Through this study, it was confirmed that it is possible to develop a predictive model for the temperature inside the greenhouse using data outside the greenhouse. In addition, it was confirmed that application and comparative analysis were necessary for various greenhouse data. It is necessary that research for development environmental control system by improving the developed model to the forecasting stage.

  • A concurrent computation model Doorae and its description language DL are developed to model problems of parallel and distributed systems. Doorae model has simple and uniform concepts of object and message passing for problem modeling and computation. A method for detecting parallelism implicitly. with no exact description of parallelism in program. is proposed. Furthermore, the method assures the maximum parallelism in dynamic environment by creating concurrent objects. Also a concept of Waiting Variable to insure maximum computation efficiency of objects is proposed.

  • 본 논문에서는 신경망 구조의 한 모델인 feed-forward multi-layered network에 역전파 학습(back-propagation learning) 기법을 이용하여 필기체 한글 숫자를 인식하고 그 가능성을 보였다. 문자 인식에 있어 입력 대상의 모양이 왜곡되거나, 대상의 크기 혹은 위치의 변화 등과 같은 잡음 (noise)에 대해서 정확히 대상을 인식하는 데는 대상의 구조 추출에 크게 관여되므로 한글의 구조 추출에 적합하다고 생각되는 bar mask 투사법을 제안하였다. 모델의 학습을 필기체 한글 숫자 16자의 입력 패턴과 타겟 ( target) 입력의 쌍을 이용해 학습시켰다. 또한, 모델의 인식 정도를 측정해 보기 위해 시험패턴을 적용하여 훈련된 패턴과 훈련되지 않은 패턴간의 인식률을 비교하여 보았다.

  • In this study, the numerical analysis of piezocone penetration and dissipation tests has been conducted using the Modified Cam-Clay model, which is generally used in soil mechanics. The Modified Cam-Clay model and related mathematical equations in finite element derivation have been formulated in the Updated Lagrangian reference frame to take the large displacement and finite strain nature of piezocone penetration into consideration. The cone tip resistance, the pore water pressure, and the dissipation curve obtained from the finite element analysis have been compared and investigated with the experimental results from piezocone penetration test performed in Yangsan site. The numerical results showed good agreement with the experimental results; however, the better numerical simulation of the continuous and deep penetration needs further research.

Model on the Elastic Deflection of Temple of the Spectacle Frame (안경테 다리의 탄성변형에 관한 모델)

  • Differential equations and their solutions were formulated to describe the deflection of the tapered, nonuniform thickness and width's temple, clamped at one end while the perpendicular force is acting on the other end which is freely suspended. The model was derived based on laws of continuity at every point inside the elastic medium that the deflection, tangent slope, bending moment, shearing force must be continuous within the medium. The model is found to be in good agreement with measurements on the beta titanium temple with the correlation 0.992 and p=0.999(Chi test). Therefore it is possible to predict the effect of various temple parameters such as elastic modulus, thickness, width on the deflection of the temples being considered.

  • In this paper, we present result of embedded system based H.264/SVC decoder circuit design and system implementation. To deal with the standardized H.264/SVC functionalities, the presented SVC decoder system is consist of hardware engine design and software with ARM core processor. In order to improve the feasibility and applicability, and reduce the decoder complexity, the implemented system is constructed with only the consideration of IPPP structure scalability without using the full B-picture architecture. Finally, we will show the decoding image result using the designed H.264/SVC decoder system.

  • Airborne separation assurance is a key requirement for Free Flight Airspace operations, This paper study the feasibility of airborne separation assurance for free flight Airspaces operations by evaluating the efficiency measurement models. Three qualitatively different methods are utilized; one based Ground and Air conflict probability model, other based Dynamic Density model. the other based Direct operating cost model. The evaluation is Direct Operating Cost model and Two metrics are utilized for the efficiency measurements; airborne separation assurance performed quite well in the Free Flight evaluation; (1) 2 scenario of the conflict situations are resolved; (2) The MD-80 flight peformed separation assurance and efficiency, Not only appling for geometric method algorithm is more efficiently than potential method, but also the most efficiently geometric combined method.

  • A new query model is required to match requirements of stream-based applications such as patient monitoring system, since traditional DBMSs are not designed to provide continuous queries over stream data. In the patient monitoring system, there are many types of biomedical signals such as blood pressure and temperature, and these signals gathered by biomedical sensors should be treated as a stream, that is an ordered set of signals. In this paper, we categorized all possible queries to be used in patient monitoring system by four types of queries. Then, we have proposed a new sliding window query model which is capable of expressing these four types of queries.

  • The extended Maxwell-Wagner polarization model is employed to describe the ER behavior of the conducting particle ER suspensions, and solutions to the equation of motion are obtained by dynamic simulation. The simulation results show the nonlinear ER behavior (Δτ∝En, n≈1.5) of the conducting particle ER suspensions. The response point, where shear stress reaches steady-state, is the point where stable break-up and rebuild of the chain-like structure of particles reaches. Also, it shows the minimum of shear stress, which corresponds the start-up of random particle configuration. The shear stress reaches plateau as particle volume fraction increases.

  • A numerical study for spray combustion of fluctuated fuel and oxidizer droplets injected into combustion chamber has been conducted for the analysis of spray combustion considering characteristics of injector. The 2 dimensional unsteady state flow fields have been calculated by using QUICK Scheme and SIMPLER Algorithm. As the spray model, DSF model and Euler-Lagrange Scheme have been used. The sine Auction has been used for droplet fluctuation model of fuel and oxidizer, while the coupling effects of the droplets between gas phase and evaporated vapor have been calculated by using PSIC model.
