6시그마 DMADOV기반 아리즈와 브레인스토밍을 이용한 취부용 피스제거 시스템의 공학문제 해결에 관한연구 (A Study on Solving Engineering Problems of a Piece-removing System using 6-Sigma DMADOV Technique with ARIZ & Brainstorming)

  • This paper presents a new design algorithm for piece-removing dynamical system, based on 6-Sigma DMADOV technique using ARIZ and Brainstorming. Our design target is the piece-removing system installed on a mobile platform of bead-grinding equipment. The 6-Sigma DMADOV technique guides us design process according to 6 steps, i.e., Define - Measure - Analyze - Design - Optimize - Verify. A Design strategy to reduce the weight of piece-removing dynamical system will be explored by using ARIZ, i.e.,(the abbreviation of Algorithm for Inventive Problem Solving in Russian). The ARIZ will result in a final solution that the height and angle control parts for a cutting tool should be replaced by a kinematical approach, rather than complicated mechatronic approach(using motors). The Optimize step is composed of two sub-steps: (i) Generating process for obtaining several ideas of piece-removing system by using Brainstorming technique, satisfying the final solution derived from the Design step using ARIZ, and (ii) Optimizing process for selecting the most optimal idea of piece-removing system by using Pugh's matrix from the viewpoints of weight, cost and accuracy. The laststep of Verify has shown that the final design obtained by the 6-Sigma DMADOV technique with ARIZ & Brainstormingcan improve an initial design with design requirements satisfied. In this paper, we have shown that ARIZ and Brainstorming can be cooperatively merged into 6-Sigma DMADOV to give us both a formulatedproblem-solving approach and diverse candidate solutions(or ideas) without trial-and-error efforts.

연예인 헤어스타일에 근거한 헤어연출 분석 -변정수 헤어스타일을 중심으로- (An Analysis of Hair Renderings in Reference to Entertainers' Hair Styles - Focused on Byeon Jeong-su's Hair Styles-)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze entertainer Byeon Jeong-su's hair styles and thereby, apply the results to models. For the applications, models' hair styles were bisected into two sections, and thereby, the edges of the outsides were cut into solid points, and thereupon, into diverse bases by using vertical section, Perpendicular direction and square angles. On the other hand, the insides were cut in the same way of the outside bases by using radial section, varied combing and $45{\sim}90$ degree head angles. In addition, tops and sides were arranged in their corners, while a graduation technique was used to express a natural difference of levels. The fringes were cut by using free-hand and slicing techniques. furthermore, the quantity and mass of the hairs were treated with such techniques as thinning, swing, effect, rolling, slide and slicing, while a bridge product was used for coloring together with a highlight technique. The hair styles were rendered for straight and wave by using an magic iron machine. It was confirmed through this study that the same cutting techniques would result in different images depending on individuals' physical shapes, facial shapes, head skeletons and types of hairs. Thus, it is required of the hair designers to suggest their own custom hair designs adequate to individuals' images through continued image-wise hair design practices.

선반식 옹벽의 토압에 관한 모형시험 연구 (Model Test Study on the Earth Pressure of the Retaining Wall with the Relieving Platform)

  • 선반식 옹벽에서 선반은 옹벽에 작용하는 전체 수평토압의 크기를 줄여주며, 이로 인해 구조물의 전체적인 안정성이 향상된다. 이 연구에서는 아직 국내에서는 연구가 진행된 바 없는 선반식 옹벽에 작용하는 토압분포를 파악하고 캔틸레버식 옹벽에 작용하는 토압분포와 비교하기 위하여 모형시험을 실시하였다. 또한 흙 종류와 옹벽 배면의 굴착각도를 달리하여, 흙종류와 되메움 조건이 캔틸레버식 옹벽과 선반식 옹벽에 작용하는 토압의 변화에 미치는 영향을 파악하였다. 모형시험결과 선반의 설치로 인하여 발생하는 선반식 옹벽의 토압감소는 캔틸레버식 옹벽과 비교할 경우에 뚜렷하게 발생하였고, 옹벽에 발생하는 수평변위도 선반식 옹벽이 캔틸레버식 옹벽에 비해서 작게 발생하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 캔틸레버식 옹벽에 비해서 선반식 옹벽의 전도파괴에 대한 안정성이 상대적으로 높은 것으로 나타났다.

대형직접전단시험에 의한 뿌리말뚝의 거동 및 보강효과 (Reinforcing Effect and Behaviors of Root-Pile in Heavy-Duty Direct Shear Test)

  • In recently, using of steel reinforcements by reinforcing materials of the reinforced earth, micro-pile and root-pile etc,. is wide-spreading in the stabilizing control of cutting and embankment slopes, but the failure mechanism of reinforced earth as well as the effect of insert angles or types of reinforcement and others are not defined clearly. In this study, therefore heavy-duty direct shear tests were exercised on the reinforced soil and the non-reinforced soil, which was executed for research on the interaction of soil-reinforcement and theirs behavior. The hardness and softness and the standard sands were used for modeling of reinforced soil, the material constants for the computer simulation were estimated from the results of CD-Test. The effects of reinforcing and of friction increasing on the softness, area ratio of reinforcements is equal, were the better than them of the hardness, as well the reinforcing effects of shear strength without regard to the area ratio is much the same at $10^{\circ}$, insert angle of reinforced bar, differ from them of the existing study. Then, the results of numerical analysis showed that the behavior of reinforcements displayed bending resistance and shear resistance at $15^{\circ}$ and $30^{\circ}$, respectively. Also, the state of strain transfer was observed and the behavior of resistance mechanism on reinforcements presented almost the same them of landslides stabilizing pile.

5축 가공에 의한 SCM415 롤러 캠 개발과 표면조도 연구 (A Study on the Development and Surface Roughness of Roller Cam SCM415 by 5-Axis Machining)

  • In this study, we carried out the each lines of section, using GC (green silicon carbide) whetstone, the SCM415 material which separated by after and before heat treatments process, in 3+2 axis machining centers for integrated grinding after cutting end mill works, the spindle speed 8000 rpm and feed rate 150 mm/min. For the analysis of the centerline average roughness (Ra), we measured by 10 steps stages. Using Finite element analysis, we found the result of the load analysis effect of the assembly parts, when applied the 11 kg's load on both side of the ATC (Automatic tool change) arm. The result is as follows. For the centerline average roughness (Ra) in the non-heat treatment work pieces, are appeared the most favorable in the tenth section are $0.510{\mu}m$, that were shown in the near the straight line section which is the smallest deformation of curve. In addition, the bad surface roughness appears on the path is to long by changing angle, the more inclined depth of cut, because the chip discharging is not smoothly.

ITS를 이용한 대기오염 로니터링 시스템 개발 (Development of Emission Monitoring System Using ITS)

  • 대기오염 중 자동차에서 배출되는 오염물질이 차지하는 비중이 '92년 60.8%에서 '99년 85.2%로 점차 증가하고 있는 현실을 반영하여 자동차 배기가스로 인한 대기오염 문제는 최근 몇 년 동안 교통 및 환경분야에서 중요한 연구과제로 주목받고 있다. 본 연구에서는 ITS 검지정보를 입력하여 네트워크 상에서 개별 차량의 운행 패턴과 교통류 특성 변화를 모사하고 이러한 변화에 따라 도로에서 발생하는 자동차 배기가스 배출량을 추정하고 이를 시각적으로 표현할 수 있는 모니터링 시스템 개발을 목적으로 한다. 본 연구는 교통류 시뮬레이션 모형에 대한 고찰을 통해 국내 외 미시적 교통류 시뮬레이션 프로그램의 내부 알고리즘을 고찰하고, 모니터링 시스템에 탑재하기 위한 교통류 알고리즘을 구축하였다. 또한 배기가스 추정을 위해 배기가스 배출량 산정 및 확산에 관한 연구의 검토를 통해 기존 모형의 한계를 제시하면서 대안적 접근방향을 제시하였고 이러한 연구를 체계화하여 교통류 변화에 따른 대기오염 변화를 모니터링 할 수 있는 시스템을 개발하였다.

탄소나노튜브의 함량에 따른 항공기용 탄소나노튜브/폴리우레탄 탑코트의 접착 및 전기적 특성 평가 (Evaluation of Adhesion and Electrical Properties of CNT/PU Topcoat with Different CNT Weight Fraction for Aircraft)

  • 탄소나노튜브의 함량에 따라 폴리우레탄 타입 탑코트의 분산도 및 전기저항의 평가를 통해 탄소나노튜브의 최적함량을 찾기 위한 연구를 진행하였다. 초음파 분산을 통하여 탄소나노튜브를 폴리우레탄 탑코트 내에 분산하였고, 중력식 스프레이건을 이용하여 탄소섬유/에폭시 복합재 표면에 탄소나노튜브/폴리우레탄 탑코트의 코팅을 진행하였다. 4가지 용매를 이용하여 탄소섬유복합재와 탄소나노튜브/폴리우레탄 탑코트의 정적접촉각을 측정하였고, 이를 이용하여 접착일을 계산하였다. 탄소나노튜브/폴리우레탄 탑코트의 표면저항을 측정하였고 이를 통하여 탄소나노튜브의 최적 함량조건을 파악하였다. ASTM D3359를 기반으로 크로스 컷 시험을 진행하였고 이를 통하여 탄소나노튜브/폴리우레탄 탑코트의 부착특성을 평가하였다. 실험결과를 통해 탄소나노튜브의 최적 조건을 파악하였다.

초음속 동축제트의 유동특성에 관한 연구 (Study of the Flow Characteristics of Supersonic Coaxial Jets)

  • Supersonic coaxial jets are investigated numerically by using the axisymmetric, Wavier-Stokes equations which are solved using a fully implicit finite volume method. Three different kinds of coaxial nozzles are employed to understand the flow physics involved in the supersonic coaxial jets. Two convergent-divergent supersonic nozzles are designed to have the same Mach number 2.0, and used to compare the coaxial jet flows with those discharging from one constant-area nozzle. The impingement angle of the annular jets are varied. The primary pressure ratio is changed in the range from 2.0 to 10.0 and the assistant jet ratio from 1.0 to 3.0. The results obtained show that the fluctuations of the total pressure and Mach number along the jet axis are much higher in the constant-area nozzle than those in the convergent-divergent nozzles, and the constant-area nozzle lead to higher total pressure losses, compared with the convergent-divergent nozzles. The assistant jets from the annular nozzle affect the coaxial jet flows within the distance less than about ten times the nozzle throat diameter, but beyond it the coaxial jet is conical with self-similar velocity profiles. Increasing both the primary jet pressure ratio and the assistant jet pressure ratio produces a longer coaxial jet core.

외압을 받는 복합재 셸의 좌굴해석을 위한 실험 및 수치 해석 연구 (Study of numerical analysis and experiment for composite pressure hull on buckling pressure)

  • The results of an experimental and analytical study of composite pressure hull on buckling pressure are presented for LRN 300. Composite tensile test was done to know the composite material properties applied FE analysis for URN composite. We predicted the buckling and post buckling analysis of composite laminated cylindrical panels under external compression by using ABAQUS /Standard[Ver 6.4]. To obtain nonlinear static equilibrium solutions for unstable problems, where the load-displacement response can exhibit the type of nonlinear buckling behavior, during periods of the response, the load and/or the displacement may decrease as the solution evolves, used the modified Riks method. The modified Riks method is an algorithm that allows effective solution of such cases [7]. Experiments were conducted to verify the validation of present analysis for cross-ply laminated shells. The shells considered in the study have two different lamination patterns, $[{\pm}45/0/90]_{18s\;and}\;[/0/90]_{18s}$. Cylindrical panel of experiment and analysis have the radius of 200mm, length of 210mm and 60 degree of cutting angle. The critical load from experiment is $69\%$ of that of numerical analysis, because the fracture of matrix was generated before buckling. So URN 300 is not proper to use at the condition under high external pressue.

파인 블랭킹 금형의 V-링 위치 및 다이 챔퍼 형상이 다이 롤 높이에 미치는 영향에 관한 실험 연구 (An experimental study on the effect of V-ring position and die chamfer shape on the die roll height in fine blanking tool)

  • 기어의 파인 블랭킹에서 기능면으로 사용되는 전단면(잇 면)을 최대한 확보하기 위하여 다이 롤 높이(die roll height)의 최소화는 매우 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 파인 블랭킹 금형의 핵심 설계 요소인 V-링 위치와 다이 챔퍼(die chamfer) 형상에 따라 기어의 다이 롤 높이 변화를 고찰하기 위하여 V-링 거리와 다이 챔퍼 형상이 다른 여러가지 다이 편 및 가이드 플레이트 편으로 구성된 파인 블랭킹 금형 세트를 제작하여 실험하였다. 각 실험으로부터 시편을 채취하여 다이 롤 높이를 측정 분석한 결과 파인 블랭킹 기어의 다이 롤 높이는 각 모듈에서 다이 챔퍼 각도가 증가함에 따라 증가하고 V-링 거리가 증가함에 따라 증가됨을 알 수 있었다.
