시뮬레이션과 실험에 의한 산소절단기 절단시 철근의 수열온도 분포 (Heated temperature and Range of the Oxy-acetylene Cutting Reinforcing Bar by Simulation and Experiment)

  • 본 연구는 상온에서 산소절단기로 철근의 절단시 절단부위로 부터의 고온수열범위와 수열온도를 측정하고 시뮬레이션 결과와 비교함으로써 현장에서 산소절단기를 사용한 철근절단의 가능성을 파악하는 것을 목적으로 하며 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 산소절단기로 철근을 절단하는 경우 절단 부위로부터 1 cm 떨어진 위치의 수열온도는 $700^{\circ}C{\sim}1000^{\circ}C$의 범위에 있으나, 절단부위로부터 2cm떨어진 위치의 수열온도는 200$^{\circ}C$를 넘지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 2 각 직경, 종류별로 철근의 수열온도 분포를 시뮬레이션한 결과 산소 절단시험와 유사한 절단 거리에 따른 온도 분포를 보임으로서 철근 절단 거리에서 2cm 정도의 여유를 갖고 절단할 경우에는 고온 수열에 따른 취성변화가 발생되지 않는다.

기능성 포장재가 백합과 장미의 선도유지에 미치는 효과 (Effect of Functional Packing Materials on the Maintenance of Freshness of Cut Lily and Cut Rose)

  • 칼슘 및 왁스 코팅 포장재 처리가 절화백합과 장미의 절화수명 및 품질에 미치는 효과를 연구하였다. 공시재료는 Lilium Oriental hybrid 'Le Reve'와 Rosa hybrida 'Fire King'를 사용하였으며, 25% 칼슘 및 36% 왁스 코팅 포장재 처리구에 포장 후 $5^{\circ}C$$20^{\circ}C$ 저장고에 48시간동안 저장하였다. 절화 백합의 'Le Reve' 경우 36% 왁스 코팅 포장재 처리구에 포장 후 $5^{\circ}C$ 저장시 상품의 수명은 대조구에 비해 2일정도 증가되었다. 그러나 절화 장미 'Fire King'의 경우는 절화의 선도유지나 수명에는 효과가 크게 나타나지 않았다. 그러므로 절화 백합의 경우에는 상품의 수확 후 기능성 포장재가 저장성 및 선도유지에 유용함을 알 수 있었다

뇌졸중 환자 가족 간호자의 우울 및 영향 요인에 관한 연구 (Depression of Stroke Patient자s Family Caregivers and the Relating Factors)

  • In this paper, we examined the depression of stroke patient's caregivers and analyzed influencing factors of the depression. The subjects were 215 caregivers who have takencare of stroke survivors in their home. The conceptual model of this study consisted of the caregiver's depression, perceived burden, illness intrusiveness, and patient's ADL. Modified Korean CES-D, modified subjective and objective Burden Scale, Illness intrusiveness(II), and Instrumental Activity of Daily Living(IADL) were used to measure concepts. Path analysis was used to test the model of this study. The results were as follows: 1. The mean depression score was 11.6 which was below the cut-off score of the CES-D. This score indicates that the subjects were higher than normal adults' mean score but not depressive. Eighty-six out of 215 caregivers(40%) were above the cut-off score. This finding was different from previous research results, and the reason might be the patients' capability of ADL. In a group of low capability patient's activities of daily living, caregiver's depression score was 15.5. 2. Caregiver's depression was positively related to caregiver's burden and illness intrusiveness, but negatively related to patient's activities of daily living. 3. The caregiver's perceived burden and illness intrusiveness directly influenced on their depression. Furthermore, the and caregiver's illness intrusiveness led to depression indirectly through their burden. A patient's activities of daily living didn't influence directly on depression but indirectly through caregiver's illness intrusiveness and burden.

예취시기가 Sorghum류 품종의 건물 및 양분수량에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Different Defoliation on Dry and TDN yield of Sorghum Cultivars)

  • Yield and plant constituent responses of forage sorghum cultivars have usually been compared in uniform defoliation management test. However the influence of harvest time on differential response of cultivars needs more precise definition. Therefore this study with sorghum-sorgo-sudan hybrid cv. NC+Sweet Leaf, and Super Su 22 and Sorghum-Sorghum hybrid cv. Pioneer 931 was carried out under two defoliation regimes, namely defoliation at heading stage of each variety and defoliation on the same calendar date in response to heading stage of early variety. The results are summarized as follows; 1. Three harvests were taken by early variety with 80 days and two harvests by late variety with 94 days from sowing to heading. 2. Dry matter and TDN yield tend to be higher when the plants are cut at ear emergence stage of late variety. 3. Crude protein content was similar for the same growth growth stage of 1st growth and 1st regrowth, and rather big different between varieties. 4. Considering only dry matter and TDN yield, it is recommendable to cut two times at ear emergence stage of late variety and also three times at ear emergence stage of early variety in view point of utilization period extension and distribution of forage products.

정익과 동익의 상호작용을 고려한 익렬의 공력 형상 최적 설계 (Optimum Design of Aerodynamic Shape of Cascade with Rotor-Stator Interactions)

  • Since the previous cut-and-try design algorithm requires much cost and time, the automated design technique with the CFD and optimum design algorithm has recently been concerned. In this work, the Navier-Stokes equation was solved to gain more detailed viscous flow information of cascade with rotor-stator interactions. The H-grid embedded by O-grid was generated to obtain more accurate solution by eliminating the branch cut of H-grid near airfoil surface. To handle the relative motion of the rotor to the stationary stator, the sliding multiblock method was applied and the cubic-spline interpolation was used on the block interface boundary. To validate present procedure, the time-averaged aerodynamic loads were compared with experimeatal data. A good agreement was obtained. The Modified Method of Feasible Direction (MMFD) was used to carry out the sensitivity analysis of the change of aerodynamic performance by the changes of the cascade geometry. The present optimization of the cascade gave a dramatic reduction of the drag while the lift maintains at the value within the user-specified tolerance.

EPS foam의 선형 열선 절단시 절단 경사각의 영향에 관한 연구 (Investigation into effect of cutting angle on the thermal characteristics in the linear heat cutting of EPS foam)

  • During the hotwire cutting of EPS foam sheet, the dimensional accuracy and part quality of the cut par are highly dependent upon the thermal field in the EPS. The thermal field is determined by operating parameters such as heat input, cutting speed and cutting angle. The objective of this study is to investigate into the influence of cutting angle on the kerfwidth and part quality of the cut part in hotwire cutting of EPS foam using the experiments and the numerical analysis in the case of a single sloped cutting. In order to estimate an accurate temperature field, the transient thermal analysis using a moving coordinate system and the sloped heat flux model is carried out. From the results of the experiments and the analysis, it has been found that the effect of cutting angle on the kerfwidth and the melted area at the edge are 0.1 mm and 0.11 m$m^2$ respectively. The results of the experiments show that the surface roughness is not appreciably influenced by the cutting angle.

  • In this work, a practical separation performance was investigated on aqueous alcohol solutions, especially for iso-propyl alcohol (IPA), which is usually used during the semi- conductor rinsing process. The removal of various substances from waste aqueous IPA solutions was carried out by microfiltration with $0.1\~1{\mu}$m pore size of mean diameter as a pre-filter. Permeability and molecular weight cut-off of the functional polysulfone(PSf) ultrafiltration membrane to purify waste aqueous IPA solutions were measured through the ultrafiltration test. The solute rejection of PSf membrane had $92\%$ in 1,000ppm aqueous PEG solution with PEG molecular weight 10,000, the molecular weight cut-off had 10,000. The IPA concentration on the $CMPA-K^+$ membrane performance using pervaporation module system could be increased from $95.04 wt\%$ to more than $98.50wt\%$ in about 9hr at operation temperature of $70^{\circ}C$ using the pervaporation module system.

음허증 평가 설문지의 국내외 활용 현황조사 (A Survey on Utilization of Questionnaires for Assessing Statues of Yin Deficiency Syndrome)

  • Objectives The purpose of this study was to survey the current status of use of questionnaires for evaluating Yin Deficiency Syndrome and analyze the comparison with questionnaires. Methods We searched online medical databases to find domestic/international articles using questionnaires for evaluating intensity of Yin Deficiency Syndrome. Finally 18 articles were collected to be reviewed and they were classified according to their subjects and type of the Questionnaires. Results Out of 18 articles, 11 were based on the Yin-Deficiency Questionnaire (Yin-DQ) and the others used various questionnaires, except the Yin-DQ, for assessing Yin Deficiency Syndrome. In Korea the Yin-DQ was used widely but in foreign countries, for instance, China, Taiwan, a variety of questionnaires were used. Conclusion The Yin-DQ had a wider use in assessing Yin Deficiency Syndrome, but cut-off score for diagnostic criteria was not defined. Therefore, we decided that the YDS (Yin Deficiency Scale) with cut-off score was more suitable for screening patients with Yin Deficiency Syndrome. Moreover, we suggested that additional studies on using the YDS and developing more appropriate diagnostic tool should be conducted to improve diagnostic objectivity.

A Study on Comparison Analysis of the System Quality Factors between Korea and China Shopping mall Websites

  • This paper mainly focuses on the system quality factors of a website targeted at shopping mall websites in China and Korea. We categorized six system quality factors and formulated hypotheses regarding how those six factors are different. We also conducted an empirical study to verify hypotheses. Statistical data for an empirical study targeted at undergraduate students in Korea and China, having filled in a questionnaire. Reliability of the collected data was measured, and a T-test of the established hypotheses was carried out. The following describes the results that were found. While the shopping mall websites of two countries showed a difference in terms of quick transition of the web pages or images, ease of use, reliability, and accessibility, they did not show the difference in term of accuracy and the short cut function. We analyzed the causes of the verified results and suggested a strategy to implement the effective shopping mall web sites.

Probing Gamma-ray Emission of Geminga and Vela with Non-stationary Models

  • It is generally believed that the high energy emissions from isolated pulsars are emitted from relativistic electrons/positrons accelerated in outer magnetospheric accelerators (outergaps) via a curvature radiation mechanism, which has a simple exponential cut-off spectrum. However, many gamma-ray pulsars detected by the Fermi LAT (Large Area Telescope) cannot be fitted by simple exponential cut-off spectrum, and instead a sub-exponential is more appropriate. It is proposed that the realistic outergaps are non-stationary, and that the observed spectrum is a superposition of different stationary states that are controlled by the currents injected from the inner and outer boundaries. The Vela and Geminga pulsars have the largest fluxes among all targets observed, which allows us to carry out very detailed phase-resolved spectral analysis. We have divided the Vela and Geminga pulsars into 19 (the off pulse of Vela was not included) and 33 phase bins, respectively. We find that most phase resolved spectra still cannot be fitted by a simple exponential spectrum: in fact, a sub-exponential spectrum is necessary. We conclude that non-stationary states exist even down to the very fine phase bins.
