Customizing a Pattern-based English-Korean MT System: From Written Style to Spoken Style (문어체에서 대화체 문장 패턴기반 영한 번역기로의 특화)

  • 본 논문은 지식경제부의 지원 하에 한국전자통신연구원 언어처리연구팀에서 2010년에 개발하고 있는 패턴기반 영한 메신저 대화체 문장 번역 시스템에 관한 것이다. 본 논문의 목표는 문어체 문장 위주의 패턴기반 영한 웹문서 자동번역 시스템을 대화체 문장 위주의 패턴기반 영한 메신저 자동번역 시스템으로 전환하고자 할 때, 특화하는 방법 및 모듈에 관해 기술하는 것이다. 영어권 Native speaker로부터 수집한 메신저 대화체 문장을 대상으로 번역률을 평가한 결과, 문어체 위주의 영한 웹 자동번역 시스템은 71.83%인 반면, 대화체 위주의 영한 메신저 자동번역 시스템은 76.88%였다. 대화체 문장을 대상으로 번역률을 5.05% 향상시킬 수 있었던 이유는 본 논문에서 제시한 특화 방법을 따른 결과라고 할 수 있다.

  • Recently, to satisfy the customer's requirements for glasses such as rating of glasses or choosing, glasses industry is supporting various types and tools for making one's appearance good. In this research, we study the strategy for implementing a site for glasses to customizing a person not to distinguish whether the customer is older or younger etc. For the purpose of implementing a site for glasses, first, we suggest a differentiated methodology through analysis of glasses industry service and features of existential representative glasses sites. Through the activation of the marketing strategies, marketing in a glasses market is expected to be competitive.

  • Recently, there are various reports on the case of using an Online Judge(OJ) system that enables students to develop problem solving abilities based on algorithms and programming. If informatics teachers and prospective informatics teachers have the ability to build and operate these systems for their school and students, they will be equipped with powerful instructional competencies related to computational thinking and problem solving ability. Therefore, this paper studied how to build and customize HUSTOJ-based open source online judge systems for school informatics education, and suggested the direction to apply it effectively at the school.

  • This paper showed how to apply BIM technology to customized interior design process(CIDP) in order to reduce the heavy workload of stakeholders who are involved in the customized house project. Recently the customers wanted their living space to make a different from others in the field of interior design in particular, therefore, this dissertation focused on the process of the determination of the interior plan through the communication between clients and workers. This thesis indicated the interior design process with IDEF${\emptyset}$ in order to show how many kinds of information workers and expected residents made and shared in the each step of CIDP. BIM in the customized interior design procss is useful to correct drawing errors, help customers' decision-making by showing the 3D model for their own house and decrease the heavy workload of workers concerned by using BIM estimating system.

  • Recently, the number of People who want to study by online has been gradually increased. In addition, people's desire is increasing that represents their special knowledge and personality with new paradigm of UCC(User Created Contents). Most of the educational web-sites offer currently boring and unified educational contents without interesting objects. Therefore I want to solve these problems of existing online educational web-sites and I strongly propose the method of design to make the place educational and useful that everyone can enjoy and manifest the user's dispositions. On this study, it's possible to make pleasant environment and improve educational effects on cyber space by designing it in accordance with the individual tastes which have various design elements, beauties and facilities by the customized design method. As a result, this study proposes the model of online educational web-site having various interfaces and focusing on the customized design.

  • Open source software allows revising and adding a new idea on them as well as debugging themselves. The open source software can be utilized as various educational programs as well as development of a commercial software products using them. MIT App Inventor, one of the block-based visual programming environments for education, supports building a local server and even revision of the platform itself by providing its own source codes. In this paper we implement App Inventor open sources on the local server. Especially we present how to revise and implement a new App Inventor platform reflecting their own requirements in schools or educational institutes and how to build a local server operating the revised App Inventor platform. They can provide more interactive educational environments to students and improve educational satisfaction through the active customizing of the platform itself such as adding new programming block components requested by students.

  • The market of mobile game is growing rapidly according to increasing trend of mobile market and dissemination of smart phone devices. Not only the number of male gamers, but also female gamers who are relatively playing casual games are increased and the mobile market is growing as well. Therefore, this study compared the tendencies in male and female gamers using "Link" which was based on customizing and life simulation. The results showed that female gamers had stronger affinity than male gamers in customization. Both male and female gamers showed similar interests in battle situation. This paper contributes to new perspective of mobile game developing and marketing opportunity.

Investigation of women's Innerwear Purchasing Behavior and Preference - For women aged between 20's and 60's - (여성의 내의류 구매 실태 및 디자인 선호도 연구 - 20-60대 여성을 중심으로 -)

  • The purpose of this study was to obtain and offer useful information on innerwear industry through an analysis of consumer purchasing behavior and preference of their between the 20's and 60's. From 310 questionnaires that were distributed, 310 with usable data were coded for further statistical analysis including descriptive statistics(frequency and chi-square test), by using SPSSWIN 10.0. The results were as follows: The results show that since the surveyed women's purchasing patterns were varied according to their ages it is necessary to develop new items and designs tailored for particular needs and wants of each age group. For those in their 20's, it is suggested that the innerwear design may consider reflecting the trend of the young women nowadays as characterized by a major fashion-led group who regard fashion as a way of expressing themselves and are not hesitant to wear clothing designed to be exposed their body. The innerwear products for women in their 30's and 40's should emphasize on the aspects of customizing and satisfying these women's different lifestyles. The study also reveal that for age groups of the 50's and 60's women these products should be developed in a way to intensify functions of thermal property and absorbency coupled with a classic design rather than daring styles. In conjunction with material developments it is necessary to establish a sizing system for the knitted innerwear products which reflect the specific characteristics of women's body type in their middle-and later years.
