Objectives: The purpose of this study was to examine the curriculum of the medical humanities and social medicine at 11 Colleges of Korean Medicine (CKM) based on the Korean Medicine Education Accreditation Standards 2021 (KAS2021) and suggest ways to improve the quality of Korean Medical education in the future. Methods: The curricula for each grade were collected from the websites of 11 CKM. Based on KAS2021, medical humanities and social medicine courses were extracted and compiled. Courses offered, frequency of course offerings, time of offerings, credits, and course hours were investigated. Results: Courses in languages and literature were most frequently offered in CKM. Most medical humanities and social medicine courses were offered in the pre-medical program and the fourth year of the medical program and were conducted as individual courses. Developing a curriculum that integrates conceptual definitions of the medical humanities and social medicine with basic and clinical studies is necessary. Conclusion: Eleven CKM should reorganize and operate their medical humanities and social medicine curricula based on each college's circumstances. This will allow each college to improve the quality of its educational offerings, creating a foundation for fostering excellent korean medicine doctors with professional medical skills and communication skills.

The United States (CS2013) and Japan (J07-CS) constitute a standard informatics curriculum that reflects a changing society at the level of higher education. This study analyzed the change of standard curriculum in the United States in order to provide implications for the standard composition of higher education curriculum in Korea. The subjects were composed based on the analysis of current status of university curriculum and content knowledge in Korea. As a result of the research, the Informatics curriculum in the United States has evolved into a curriculum reflecting the changing computing environment. The information curriculum of domestic colleges included only 52% of the knowledge area of CS2013. The purpose of this study is to provide an example of the composition of subjects based on the curriculum composition policy of Japan and to provide a basis for the curriculum composition without the standard informatics education course of the college in korea.

Objectives: The aim of this study was to investigate the curriculum of Chuna manual medicine (CMM)-related subjects in oriental medicine college and to let CMM have opportunities to develope current curriculum and basic circumstance for CMM. Methods: Questionnaire was obtained from 11 oriental medicine college and 1 school of Korean medicine, Pusan National University, bye-mail. If there was any insufficient information from response, we asked more information by direct call. Results and Conclusions: The findings from our study can be summarized as follows: 1. There are three CMM-related subjects, CMM, Oriental Rehabilitation Medicine (ORM) and Neuromusculoskeletology(NMS). All curriculums of 8 colleges belonged to classification I have CMM and DRM courses. Curriculums of 4 colleges belonged to classification II, have ORM or NMS course without CMM course. 2. 10 colleges of 11 ones which have ORM course, have major compulsory courses, 1 college has a major optional course. 5 colleges of 8 ones which have CMM course, have major compulsory courses, 3 colleges have major optional courses. 2 colleges have only part-time lecturers for CMM course, other 2 college have cooperation of specialized professors and part-time lecturers, another 8 colleges have only specialized professors. 3. Most CMM-related subjects is teached at 3 or 4 grade of medical course. The units taken for CMM-related subjects is minimum 4 units to maximum 8 units in total about 160 units. 4. Total class hour for CMM-related subjects is minimum 120 hours to maximum 225 hours, and practice hours is about minimum 30 hours to maximum 75 hours. 5. The systematic regulation and financial support is needed for patients to get the best CMM treatment, because the present curriculum of CMM is insufficient for carrying out the best manual therapy for patients.

Recently, the importance of information security has become greater. For this reason, the number of departments related to information security at universities and professional educational institutions is increasing. It is analyzed that the curriculum of such educational institutions has a lot to do with the job competency mentioned in NCS in relation to major subjects. This has the advantage of providing a standardized level of education for each job competency. However from the perspective of students there may be limitations on duplicate curriculum quality of education according to the level of teachers and timely acquisition of necessary elemental skills. In this paper we analyze the curriculum of universities and professional educational institutions and propose a cell-based three-dimensional education model to address the limitations of students. We verified based on the college curriculum that the proposed model can effectively improve its limitations.
Purpose: The 'learning cycle' proposed by Guilbert in 1981 has been accredited as an effective and useful model for curriculum design. Three components of learning cycle, learning objective, instructional method, and assessment are connected organically and form basic structure of curriculum. In this study, we intend to analyze how the learning cycle and its three components are applied to present medical curriculum and examine the points at issue of the learning cycle in medical education. Also, we try to identify the educational significance of the leaning cycle in medical education. Results: First, concerning the learning objective, it was identified that impractical and abstract expressions are major controversial points. Also, there is a need to make learning objectives covering entire medical curriculum. Second, because of various structural problems, it is hard to practice new and various instructional methods. Third, even though there is a growing need for medical curriculum to develop and utilize more various and detailed assessment and evaluation, it was revealed that only are standardized and traditional assessments mainly used. Conclusion: Synthetically, we have some suggestions as follows. First, it is necessary to specify and actualize the learning objectives. Also, instructional methods and assessments should be diversified. And finally, there is a need to build organic and delicate medical curriculum by applying the learning cycle to medical education more actively.
Actor-network theory (ANT) pays attention to the relational effect between human and non-human actors, and transforms numerous networks between these actors by treating non-humans as human-like actors. This paper investigated various non-human actors related to the context before and after the introduction of NCS-based curriculum through ANT. This approach is because as a new system is introduced, the impact on the existing network and conflict situations can be looked at more closely. To this end, the researcher reviewed data from October 2014, when S College discussed whether to introduce an NCS-based curriculum, to February 2017, when practical operation was carried out and graduates were produced. In order to understand ANT theory, we analyzed based on the four stages of translation as claimed by Callon in the ANT theory. As a result, some meanings were confirmed in the case of reforming the curriculum of S College where the NCS-based curriculum was introduced. First, it is an in-depth analysis of the situation surrounding the curriculum, which has been overlooked by research on the existing curriculum. Second, it contributed to interpreting the 'hidden meaning' beyond the 'superficial meaning' of the curriculum within the university. Third, it was possible to indirectly check the conflicts and conflicts with the existing system that appeared in the process of introducing the new system to the College.

Content of subject of engineering exploration was developed newly for engineering college freshmen. And, effect of a sustainable energy design project on academic achievement for engineering freshmen at Virginia Tech in 2006 was researched. The project was performed throughout a 6 weeks period with one by 50 minutes lecture by professor and one 90 minutes workshop by TAs (Teaching Assistants) every week. To analyze the data, statistical package SPSS (ver. 15.0) was used. In responses to an open-ended question about freshmen students' perceptions of their improvement in design skills, the 3 most identified skills were teamwork, design process, knowledge. In, Korea, an innovation relating to engineering curriculum, facility, instructional strategy and so on will be required.
The purpose of this study was to study on radiologic technologist's license system and primary pathway education curriculum in the United States American (USA), focused on one case of college in Texas. We were collected and analyzed through class participation at a community college in Tarrant, interviews with professors of radiologic science and clinical radiographers, field trips, an internet search, and literature reviews. As a result, first, the American radiologic technologists license system is composed of fifteen chapters, and the professional education courses for each field are being carried out through three courses of a primary pathway, a post primary pathway and a physician extender. Second, the primary pathway courses consisted the radiography, the radiation therapy, the nuclear medicine, the magnetic resonance imaging, the sonography. Third, the USA had about 30 times more clinical practice time than Korea. In clinical practice, students had done actually examination through X-ray exposure on patients. Last radiographers in the USA was able to perform intravenous injection of radiopharmaceutical agents on patient, so that he could perform rapid examination and efficient manpower operation. This study could be used as basic data for the globalization of radiologic technologists license system in Korea.
