The purpose of this study is to propose the standards for dimension system for unit space of the classroom in elementary school. The curriculum of elementary school has changed. It has been reflected the architectural plan of classroom of the nationwide elementary school. However the Ministry of Education repealed the statue about the facilities of the schools on September in 1997 and the new education curriculum -the 7th curriculum- demands various activities in the classroom. So we need to another size of unit space of the classroom in elementary school because the size of unit space will affect the quality of education. This study represents that the size of unit plan is based on the size of human body, education curriculum, established day, the number limit of classroom and teaching tools. In this study, regression analysis is used to find out a part of the body-size of Korean.

This study examined the curriculum deliberation in the home economics historical literature of United State. Out of 13 literature, 9 were carried by academic federation or association and 4 were carried by individual authors. Starting from Catharine Beacher's Treatise on Domestic Economy to NASAFACS's National Standards for Family and Consumer Standards, the background of each document was introduced, curriculum contents organization was examined, and its implication was discussed. The results showed that home economics curriculum has been suggested being organised around key concepts in typical home economics areas throughout the history until the practical problem-focused curriculum organization based on critical science suggested by Majorie M. Brown in 1978. Regardless of the patterns of organization of curriculum contents, home economics pursue the common mission and aims of home economics. Another finding was that curriculum deliberation on the integration of curriculum contents was sought throughout the history.

The goal of this study was to develop a curriculum based on practice and job competency, reflecting opinions on the required job competence of nail practitioners and professionals related to nail beauty. Through in-depth interviews with nail experts, the research focuses on developing nail beauty competency-based curriculum and curriculum profiles that reflect practitioners' needs of job competence in the field. In-depth interviews with 11 field experts and surveys of 154 people were conducted to develop a competency-based curriculum for beginner nail hairdressers. The results of this study show that the existing 38 National Competency Standards (NCS) job competencies were reduced to 21 job competencies. In addition, based on the common opinions of experts who reflect the current trend, two tasks on "eyelashes" and "waxing" were added, and they were modified and supplemented with 23 core competencies. The development of a competency-based curriculum and educational programs for nail beauty was performed based on the requirements of the core competencies investigated and the development of a systematic map for the core competencies of beginner nail technicians and hairdressers. In conclusion, the need for professional education and training for nail hairdressers is growing, and it can be seen that a curriculum building multi-faceted abilities is needed for their qualifications as experts. This study found that it is necessary to develop interpersonal communication skills that include marketing elements other than practical skills such as personality and customer response methods in the nail beauty curriculum.

Because of the development of the 4th industrial technology such as artificial intelligence and the corona situation, the recent university society is rapidly changing. As the college entrance exam environment is also getting seriously difficult, departments and majors are rapidly changing at the university. Therefore, the department of the university needs a curriculum for new majors or convergence majors according to the internal and external environment of the department. However, it is a very difficult and time-consuming task to develop such a curriculum accurately. This paper proposes a curriculum development method and an application case using the National Competency Standards(NCS). The curriculum development method proposed in this paper consists of the traditional three-step method, namely, analysis, design, and development, and NCS is used in each step. This proposed method focused on reducing the time of curriculum development, and an example of curriculum development is presented for the usefulness of the proposed method.

The purpose of this study is to examine in depth the personal experience of Instructor during National Competence Standards (NCS) Curriculum at Department of Library and Information Science. We conducted in depth interview (FGI) with participants who had recently experienced and data analysis was undertaken. We hope this study that an application of NCS would be activated fully in Library, educational institutes and qualifying examination institutes and that diverse feedbacks from related parties would makes leading to a better updated version of NCS development. As a result, First, The instructor had generally familiar with the background and purpose of the NCS. and they issued the inadequacies of job elements, non-reflection of the opinion on field education, the problems of classification of NCS. second, In the experience of NCS curriculum operating, There were the paperwork burden, Problems of methods of evaluation, evaluation period discrimination, the need to well communication with students. Third, In the problems on the NCS Curriculum operating, we found that there were The need on the proper Class size/hour, additional education, re-evaluation, Support system for NCS Curriculum operation, tools for practice, discrimination between relative evaluation and NCS evaluation, Enhancement for Competence/Standards. Fourth, On The ways of improving for NCS curriculum, We found that There were Class size, Support tools for practice, The improvement Competence/elements/standards based on LIS characteristic. The result of this study may contribute for improving the overall environment Based upon FGI analysis, several new directions for NCS education in the filed LIS curriculum are suggested.

We developed a framework of consisting of concept understanding and learning activities in the area of algorithm and programming for constructing SW curriculum that can be used in school field. Based on this, it is composed of five levels of achievement standards by area. The algorithm area consists of 18 achievement standards elements, and the programming area consists of 21 elements. To examine the importance of content about achievement standards and the appropriateness of the education time of each area, its validity was suggested through expert verification by delphi survey. The present study could be utilized as the research data of the standard model of information education curriculum and provides important implications for the development of SW curriculum in the school field.

The introduction and application of NCS(National Competency Standards) into college education seeks for competency-based human resource development and management, which targets what to do rather than what to know in terms of employees' performing jobs, duties and tasks in their work environments. The focus of the study is to redesign an educational curriculum of the field of Advertising Production for college students from a perspective of NCS. The field of Advertising Production related competency unit groups, competency units and competency elements were selected followed by the process of developing the curriculum. Using survey questionnaires and FGIs, data were collected from advertising industry experts, field practitioners and college students. The redesigned NCS-based curriculum is expected to link college education into industrial needs for human resources and thus to enhance the quality of college education.

In this study, analyzing class method, curriculum and demand performance of materials and user according to the 7th educational curriculum which, it is surveyed that materials design performance standards of floor and window suitable to future educational environment. This thesis progressed research on the improvements of NCS multimedia utilization for preliminary teachers. A national module has not been developed yet in terms of child education, so this thesis suggests a curriculum according to the courses taught for freshmen and sophomores of K University Child Education majors. To lessen the burden of tremendous work and classes, provide motivation and interest in learning and maximize the effect, this thesis provides NCS based curriculum. It expects to improve task performance of teachers and help them with better skills to make class materials using up-to-date multimedia, regardless of the computer literacy of preliminary teachers. This thesis does prior research on the abilities to make use of computers and understand the level of computer literacy. Then it suggests NCS based curriculum goals and its performance standards to utilize task-suitable software. It aims to enable efficient multimedia usage, and optimize the learning efficiency of education linked to Nuri precesses.

College students have a diverse educational background with the recent multiplicity in university admissions standards and procedures. As a result, their mathematical preparation and performance varies widely. Teaching calculus to such a diverse student group is a demanding task. Differentiated curriculum has been conducted for the university calculus course in Yonsei university for the past five years. A case study on the differentiated curriculum in Yonsei university is presented for the curriculum improvement. With its ideal purpose, the differentiated curriculum has created issues and problems in practice. As an alternative to the ideal differentiated curriculum, this study shows that a computer-based approach using a numerical software could give aids to overcoming the difficulty of inadequately prepared students in the learning process while mathematically sophisticated students could keep interested in the course. This study also presents the useful topics in calculus that can be implemented for computer-based calculus education and provides guidelines for the effective usage.
