The goal of this study is to review and define the role of nurses' who are engaged in Korea Oriental medical treatments in oriental medical hospitals. We think this study can contribute to the development of 'Korea Oriental medical science & nursing science' and 'Public health care'. A large portion of nurses's role in Korea Oriental Medicine(KOM. 한방/한의학) is assistance to doctors treatment. But besides of these role, we think there are many things that are riskless for nurses to do alone. But in present situation, few nurses in KOM. have enough knowledge to treat these medical treatments alone. So we believe this study will provide a way for nurses to participate more actively in KOM. public health care. With the goal of this study, we checked all medical treatments that have been practiced in oriental medical hospitals, and classified these treatments with some groups. And we organized a inquiry. At this inquiry, we ask 'What is the adequate role of nurses in Korea Oriental medical treatment? & What kind of treatment can nurses do?' We got 58 responses from nationwide 121 hospitals. From these response, more than half of them said nurses can do following medical treatment in the oriental medical hospital: 1. starting and ending part of following treatments; External treatments by instrument, by hydrotheraphy, by herb, by suction, moxibustion, Manipulative therapies on soft structure, Living and mind-body therapies. 2. pulling out Acupuncture. 3. boiling herb, judgement on dosing temperature, assisting in dosing, 4. assisting Diet, 5. operating from Living and mind-body therapies. 6. leading Physical training However, these results are coming out from present situation. So, after well-oriented instructions for nurses, this study will be need to carry out again. From this study, we suggest a desirable curriculum for students who study 'Korea Oriental Nursing Science.' That is to say, at basic course students take 4 subject for 6 credits. And at as an expert course, it should be dividend into Clinical Nursing Specialist in KOM., Self-care Nursing Specialist, Regimen Nursing Specialist and take 17 credits per each course.

This paper reports a descriptive correlation to explore the relationships among core competencies, nursing professionalism, and employment strategies of nursing students. Data collection was conducted from November 1 to November 28, 2014. A structural questionnaire were completed by 107 nursing students of 4th year in B city and G city. The data was analyzed using the SPSS 22.0 program. The mean value of the study was as follows: core competencies, 3.57; nursing professionalism, 4.22; and employment strategies, 3.69. A positive relationship was observed between the core competencies and nursing professionalism (r=.401, p<.001), core competencies and employment strategies (r=.559, p<.001), and nursing professionalism and employment strategies (r=.465, p<.001). The factors affecting the employment strategies of the study participants were core competencies (${\beta}=.43$, p<.001), nursing professionalism (${\beta}=.28$, p=.001), school score (${\beta}=-.19$, p=.011), which explained approximately 42% (F=24.82, p<.001). Overall, this study indicates that the core competencies and nursing professionalism, employment strategies of Nursing students have a significant positive relationship. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the curriculum, program development and repeat research for improving the core competencies, nursing professionalism, and employment strategies.
Since no course is offered in the area of professional ICT(Information & Communication Technology) in the high school curriculum, high school students do not have the opportunity to learn about the ICT engineering area and the possible career paths in the field. Due to this problem, high school students are not motivated to choose ICT majors at university level, and in turn, the ICT departments are struggling to recruit qualified students. In this paper, we present an R&E (research and education) model to mitigate this problem. We also present a case study on the program following the model offered by "H" university in collaboration with a local high school. Through the program we provided high school students with design and development experiences to solve engineering problems related to the ICT area and tried to attract their attention to ICT majors. The participants of the R&E program were able to experience the systematic engineering design process, ICT tools, teamwork, and communication skills through problem solving procedures. Based on three years of observation and the survey, it was found that more than 76% of students were motivated highly by ICT and engineering majors via the program. The main contribution of the paper is that we have proposed and proved the R&E program model and applied the ICT R&E model to a program to attract qualified students to ICT majors.
This study is aimed for a scale of assessing the work performance, educational operations, and so on of preschool teachers by the peers. It has been previously discussed the studies of scale assesment of preschool teachers, however, the scale assesment had been a self-assesment or a transitory assesment by the senior teachers and principals only. This study is developed to assess the preschool teachers through the peer- teachers. Peer-assesment has strong points that to assess the teachers constantly can be more accurate, the assessment result can be used as the basic material for peer scholarship, and it can give the preschool teachers an opportunity to be recognised on tasks. There are 51 questions are developed to assess the peers. 9 sections total; 1) 6 questions on body human nature 2) 6 questions on view on career 3) 3 questions on self-development 4) 4 questions on curriculum planing 5) 12 questions on administering and managing 6) 6 questions on understanding children 7) 4 questions on managing a class 8) 7 questions on work performance 9) 3 questions on teaching practice. Each section is surveyed by 150 preschool teachers, and the all questions are analysed statistically appropriate of a scale(validity of contents, validity of surveyors, inter-item consistency) and appropriate of each section. It is known this peer assesment of preschool teachers is an appropriate scale.
The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship among image making education, self-esteem and education satisfaction using airline service department in the university. In this study, 2 hypotheses based on literature reviews were employed. Questionnaire was also developed based on previous studies. A convenience sample of 240 students was surveyed and 218 usable questionnaires were analyzed. According to the exploratory factor analysis, image making education was divided into 'external image education', 'basic character education' and 'manner education'. Self-esteem, on the other hand, was categorized into the following variables: 'sense of value' and 'esteem' accordingly. Then the data and hypotheses were examined using structural equation modeling (SEM) by AMOS. The results are as follows. Firstly, 'external image' and 'manner education' have positive effect on 'sense of value' while manner education has effect on 'esteem'. Secondly, 'sense of value' and 'esteem' factor have positive effects on education satisfaction. Hence continuous and systematic education should be conducted to administer 'image making curriculum'. Self-esteem should also be taught in schools to encourage student's satisfaction on education. The contribution and limitations of this research were discussed and the future possible researches were mentioned.
This study investigated the realities of information acquirements and its requirements in the overseas employment and domestic connected education for students at the department of radiation in order to provide basic information for developing the standard educational curriculum for future internationalization in the education of radiation and presenting its direction. The investigation implemented in this study was performed through a questionnaire with 688 students enrolled in the department of radiation. The conclusion of the investigation is summarized as follows : The answers for the question of 'No acquirements in the information of the overseas employment and connected education for radiological technologists' were 487 students (70.8%), and the reason that 'There are no chances in related education' was the highest rate, 424 students (61.6%), of the answers. In the education for the overseas employment, the answers for the question of 'Select a connected education program in school instead of study abroad' were the highest rate, 436 students (63.4%). The most concerned country for the overseas employment was 'Australia', 247 students (35.9%). As a result, answers for the interest, participation, need, and hope for the overseas employment showed high rates even though they demonstrated a low recognition level in the overseas employment. In addition, it is necessary to strategically plan an education program for this issue because all participants agree with the current stream.
This study is to suggest the current security education programs and improvement of industrial security curriculums in Korea. We live in a world of insecurity; the world is changing at an ever accelerating pace. Life, society, economics, international relations, and security risk are becoming more and more complex. The nature of work, travel, recreation, and communication is radically changing. We live in a world where, seemingly with each passing year, the past is less and less's guide to the future. Security is involved in on one way or another in virtually every decision we make and every activity we undertake. The global environment has never been more volatile, and societal expectations for industrial security and increasing if anything. The complexities of globalization, public expectation, regulatory requirements, transnational issues, jurisdictional risks, crime, terrorism, advances in information technology, cyber attacks, and pandemics have created a security risk environment that has never been more challenging. We had to educate industrial security professional to cope with new security risk. But, how relevant is a college education to the security professional? A college degree will not guarantee a job or advancement opportunities. But, with a college and professional training, a person has improved chances for obtaining a favored position. Commonly, Security education and experience are top considerations to find a job so far, also training is important. Today, Security is good source to gain competitive advantage in global business. The future of security education is prospect when one considers the growth evident in the field. Modern people are very security-conscious today, so now we had to set up close relevant industrial security programs to cope with new security risk being offered in colleges or several security professional educational courses.
The purpose of this research is to provide a desirable case of STEAM education utilizing 'Energy and Transportation Technology' unit on the subject of technology home economics. The middle school students learned with the integrated approach based on STEAM integrated education, and through production process they had the opportunity for application and expression in diverse forms. The results of this process to achieve the purpose are as follows. First, as the procedural model to develop STEAM program utilizing 'Energy and Transportation Technology' unit on the subject of technology home economics, the five stages: preparation, development, verification, practice, and evaluation, were presented. The preparation stage was composed of requirement analysis, the selection of program subject, and STEAM program curriculum analysis, the selection and organization of STEAM program lesson. The development stage was composed of the development of lesson plan, multimedia teaching materials, worksheet and worksheet answer key. In the verification stage, the verification of validity by experts was conducted, and in the practice stage, the developed program was applied to the middle school students in the educational field, and in the evaluation stage, based on the evaluations received from learners and teachers, it was revised and supplemented. Second, the STEAM program was developed into the program summary map, lesson plan, multimedia teaching materials, worksheet and worksheet answer, etc., and after the validity was secured through experts' verification, it was revised and supplemented and applied to actual classes. Third, the results of the learners' evaluation of the developed STEAM program showed that the degree of satisfaction with the program was high with the average score of the entire questions being 4.00 on a five-point scale. As the teachers also evaluated the developed STEAM program as very effective, the opinions of learners and teachers were collected and the program was finally improved and completed.
The purpose of this study was to develop an observation and analysis instrument for invention educational activities for monitoring and improving the educational activities of inventions. For this study, a draft of observation and analysis instrument was developed through review of literatures. It was validated through opinion gathering from 10 experts of invention educational expert opinion convergence based on the content validity index (CVI) of Fehring (1987). The results of the study were as follows: First, the frame of observation and analysis of the invention education activity consists of three dimensions of observation object, observation phase and observation contents. Second, the instrument for observing and analyzing invention education activities are composed of analysts, observation subjects, observation class contents, teacher observation and analysis, student observation and analysis, educational environment and task observation and analysis. Third, the developed tools were designed to describe opinions and general opinions about individual observation factors besides the 5 - point Likert scale. Through this, it is expected that educational activities will be improved in addition to qualitative evaluation through monitoring of future invention education activities.
The purpose of this study is to analyze job of management teacher of industry-academy cooperation of specialized high school using DACUM method. The contents of this study are to identify the duties, tasks and the level of importance, difficulty, frequency and entry level on each task. Finally, based on the job analysis results, the DACUM chart of management teacher of industry-academy cooperation of specialized high school was developed. The workshop for DACUM job analysis consisted of one DACUM facilitator who acquired Level-I license, eight members of DACUM who had more than five years experience, one clerk and one practitioner for two days. The results of the study are as follows. First, this study defines management teacher of industry-academy cooperation as 'a person who career teachers in charge of career guidance, NCS-based field practice, establishment of industry-academia-government relations, external business administration, industry-academia cooperation administration, teaching subject class'. Second, the job of management teacher of industry-academy cooperation were total 7 duties and 80 tasks. Third, the importance, difficulty, and frequency of each task are classified into high (A), normal (B), and low (C) according to degree. Finally, this study make out a DACUM chart of management teacher of industry-academy cooperation of specialized high school based on the results of DACUM job analysis. And knowledge, skills, tools, and positive behaviors, future trends/concerns about management teacher of industry-academy cooperation of specialized high school were presented.
