EPDM 고분자 애자에 대한 표면방전 및 누설전류파형의 고조파분석 (Harmonics Analysis of Leakage Current Waveforms and Surface Discharge for EPDM Polymer Insulator)

  • This paper presents the results of spectrum analysis of leakage current waveforms on contaminated polymer insulators under fog conditions. This is a basic study on development of a monitoring for aging degree and surface pollution state using distortion rate(%) of 3rd and 5th harmonics according fundamental frequency[60Hz] under environment conditions. Arcing on the surface was always associated with distortion in the leakage current ; hence the low frequency components of the leakage current can be used as a means to evaluate the surface degradation. The results indicate that the distortion rate by spectrum analysis is available for the monitoring of contamination condition of EPDM Polymer insulators.

파형 분석을 통한 대신호 전력증폭기의 설계 (The design of large-signal power amplifier using waveform analysis)

  • 본 논문에서는 출력측의 전류 및 전압 파형 분석을 통한 대신호 전력증폭기의 새로운 설계 방법을 제시하였다. 기존의 고효율 이론인 하모닉 로딩 이론을 좀더 실제 소자에 적합하도록 수정하여 적용하였으며, 전력증폭기의 대신호 동작시 발생하는 바이어스점의 변화를 고려하여 '대신호 입력시의 실제적인 바이어스점'의 개념을 제시하였다. 제시된 이론을 바탕으로 HEMT 소자를 사용하여 2GHz대의 전력증폭기를 제작하였으며, 제작된 증폭기는 2V의 바이어스 전압에 대해 14dBm의 출력과 46%의 드레인 효율, 38%의 전력부가효율 및 7.8dB의 전력이득의 특성을 나타냈다.

  • 공장전기설비에서 개인용 컴퓨터, 정류기, 전기로와 시험장치 등의 비선형 부하 사용 증가에 따른 고조파 발생으로 누전차단기가 오동작하거나 불필요 동작을 하고 있다. 따라서 공장전기설비의 안전관리자를 대상으로 누전차단기의 오동작 상태에 대한 조사를 실시하였다. 또한 누전차단기가 오동작하거나 불필요 동작을 하고 있다는 수용가에서 전압, 전류, 고조파와 불평형 등 전력품질을 측정하고 분석하였다. 본 연구결과는 왜형된 전류파형으로 누전차단기의 트립특성 시험과 누전차단기 오동작 원인분석시 자료로 활용하고자 한다.

  • This Paper proposes a novel sinusoidal converter which improves input power factor and input current waveform without any complicated switching modulation such as a pulse width modulation or a complicated feed-back control. It is composed of a full bridge diode, a pair of capacitors, a pair of inductors and a pair of switching devices. The configuration and control strategy are both simple however, the sinusoidal converter effectively reduces reactive power and hamonics included in a input line current. Excellent behavior of the proposed converter is verified by theoretical analysis and experimental results.

  • This paper presents a digital instrument for the power quality analysis in three phase power system where current waveform is non-sinusoidal. It is based on C31 DSP and on a special high-speed data acquisition system. Voltage and current waveforms are acquired and processed by using a simple average power algorithm, The paper also goes on to discuss the performance of an instrument prototype both in terms of accuracy and speed of measurement.

  • This paper presents a PFC(Power Factor Correction) system to control the power factor of input current of the converter system which is working in the propulsion system of KTX high speed train. In the KTX train system, initially introduced from ALSTOM, the thyristor converter with phase controlling technique is adopted in the current fed type powering system. The input current induces harmonic losses highly because the waveform becomes rectangular shapes according to the filter inductor current increased as the train speed increasing gradually. Especially the interference with the signalling systems is severe concerned due to high current harmonics on the catenary line. To protect this problem, a frequency trap filter(notch filter) is operating with the input converter system. In this paper, an analysis work and PC simulation have been done on the PFC system to upgrade its performance and maintenance efficiency.

  • The rectifier characteristics and the quality of the input current worsens with the increase of unbalances or harmonics of the supply voltages. Rectifier input current harmonics interfere with proper power system operation, reduce rectifier power factor, and limit the power available from a given source. It is of importance to select appropriately the rectifier's output filter inductance to determine the rectifier input current waveform, the input current harmonics, and the power factor. This paper presents a quantitative analysis of single and three phase rectifier input current harmonics, total harmonic distortion, and power factor as a function of the output filter inductance under balanced and unbalanced conditions. Also, its performance under the supply voltage including harmonics be investigated. These results provide a reference for selecting reasonable rectifier's output filter inductance for given harmonics or power factor criterion.

  • $85^{\circ}C$, 0.4 M $Ba(OH)_2$용액내에서 펄스전류파형을 이용하여 Ti전극위에 $BaTiO_3$박막을 전해 합성하였다. 환원전류 밀도 및 환원시간이 증가함에 따라 $BaTiO_3$의 결정성 및 페러데이 효율이 증가하였으며, 이는 표면 및 전기화학적특성 분석에 의하면 환원 전류 인가시에 $H_2O$의 환원에 의하여 전극표면의 pH가 증가함으로서 산화전류에 의하여 형성된 산화막의 구조변화가 빠르게 진행되기 때문으로 추측된다. 그리고 0.1M $H_2SO_4$용액하에서 산화막을 형성시킨 후 $BaTiO_3$형성에 미치는 영향을 분석한 결과, 산화막 두께가 증가함에 따라서 산화막을 통한 $Ti^{+4}$이온의 이동이 어려워지면서 $BaTiO_3$형성이 억제되며, 일정두께이상에서는 산화막 결함부위에서 결정이 형성됨을 알 수 있었다.

Salt fog에 의한 오손된 EPDM애자의 누설전류 파형 분석 (Analysis on Waveform of Leakage Current of Contaminated EPDM Insulators by Salt Fog)

  • This paper presents the results of power spectra using the fundamental and low frequency harmonic components of leakage current waveform to study aging on contaminated EPDM insulator(was serviced during 1997-2001, region Pohang, korea) under salt fog conditions. Experiments have been conducted in the chamber salt fog and at the 16KVrms. The salt contents adjusted as 0g,25g,50g and 75g per liter of deionized water. The onset of dry-band arcing on polymer insulators could be determined by signal processing the low frequency harmonics components. A correlation has been found between the fundamental and low harmonic components of power spectra on leakage current. Where aging could be associated with an increase in the level of both the fundamental and low frequency harmonics components of leakage current. Surface aging for contaminated EPDM insulators occurred when the fundamental component of leakage current was greater then some level On the other hand, when the polymer insulator approached failure, the fundamental component of leakage current reached relatively high values and low frequency harmonics components of the leakage current trended to decrease. The results suggest that both the fundamental and low frequency harmonics of leakage current can be used as a tool to determine both the beginning of aging and before flashover, end of life EPBM insulator in salt fog.

The Lightning Current Parameters that Impact on the Surge Analysis of the EHV Gas Insulated Substation by EMTP

  • This paper describes the lightning surge analysis model of extra high voltage GIS using EMTP. Various lightning current parameters were investigated in order to confirm the impact on the lightning surge analysis such as lightning current amplitude, waveform, size of GIS, tower footing resistance and surge arresters. The multi-story tower model and EMTP/TACS model were introduced for the simulation of dynamic arc characteristics. The margin between the maximum overvoltage and BIL of the GIS was about 10 percent and the margin between the maximum overvoltage and BIL of the transformer was 21 percent.
