In order to improve the housing culture, construction changes for the utilization of diverse and multifunctional spaces are appearing in response to the increasing diverse needs of consumers. Cellular Light-weight Concrete (CLC) is being developed for use in fire-resistant heat-insulating walls and non-bearing walls. However, manufacturing non-uniformity has become a problem as a drawback due to the use of foamed bubbles and normal temperature curing, and additional research is required. Therefore, in order to suppress cracks due to drying shrinkage, silica sand is mixed with CLC to try to understand its characteristics. In the experiment, the compressive strength from 7 to 28 days of age was measured via a constant temperature and humidity chamber, and the drying shrinkage was analyzed according to each condition using a strain gauge. The compressive strength of matrix tends to decrease as the substitution rate of silica sand increases. This is judged by the result derived from the fact that the specific surface area of silica sand is smaller than that of slag. Based on KS F 2701 (ALC block), the compressive strength of 0.6 products is 4.9 MPa or more as a guide, so the maximum replacement rate of silica sand that satisfies this can be seen at 60%. Looking at the change in drying shrinkage for just 7 days, the shrinkage due to temperature change and drying is 0.7 mm, and the possibility of cracking due to shrinkage can be seen, and it seems that continuous improvement and supplementation are needed in the future.

In this study, the wear characteristics of five different dental composite resins cured by conventional halogen light and LED light sources were investigated. Five different dental composite resins of Surefil, Z100, Dyract AP, Fuji II LC and Compoglass were worn against a zirconia ceramic ball using a pin-on-disk type wear tester with 15 N contact force in a reciprocal sliding motion of sliding distance of 10 mm/cycle at 1Hz under the room temperature dry condition. The wear variations of dental composite resins were linearly increased as the number of cycles increased. It was observed that the wear resistances of these specimens were in the order of Dyract AP > Surefil > Compoglass > Z100 > Fuji II LC. On the morphological observations by SEM, the large crack formation on the sliding track of Fuji ?LC specimen was the greatest among all resin composites. Dyract AP showed less wear with few surface damage. There is no significant difference in wear performance between conventional halogen light curing and light emitting diodes curing sources. It indicates that a light emitting diodes (LED) source can replace a halogen light source as curing unit for composite resin restorations.
In this paper, the Curing process for Epoxy Molding Compound (EMC) Package was developed by comparing the performance of the EMC/Cu Bi-layer package manufactured by the conventional Hot Press process system and Carbon Nanotubes (CNT) Heater process system of the surface heating system. The viscosity of EMC was measured by using a rheometer for the curing cycle of the CNT Heater. In the EMC/Cu Bi-layer Package manufactured through the two process methods by mentioned above, the voids inside the EMC was analyzed using an optical microscope. In addition, the interfacial void and warpage of the EMC/Cu Bi-layer Package were analyzed through C-Scanning Acoustic Microscope and 3D-Digital Image Correlation. According to these experimental results, it was confirmed that there was neither void in the EMC interior nor difference in the warpage at room temperature, the zero-warpage temperature and the change in warpage.

Damaged wind turbine blades are repaired conventionally using a hand lay-up method with epoxy, where the bonding strength is not high. Epoxy has poor curing characteristics at low temperatures. The infusion method with polyester was proposed. Infusion method is believed to distribute resin uniformly. Polyester is used because it hardens better than epoxy at low temperatures. At room temperature, the proposed method increased the bonding strength by 77.7% compared to the conventional method. Using the proposed method at 15 and $5^{\circ}C$, the bonding strength increased compared to the conventional method. This paper proposes a new method for repairing wind turbine blades, even at temperatures where the conventional method cannot be used because epoxy resin does not harden. The bonding strength of the proposed method at low temperatures is higher than that of the conventional method at room temperature.
Morphological changes of unsaturated polyester/polyvinylacetate semi-IPN were studied while the phase separation and the cure reaction occurred in a competing fashion. The light scattering and thermal analysis techniques were used to investigate the phase separation rates and mechanical properties resultantly induced by molecular diffusion of thermoplastic polymer during the curing process of thermosetting polymer. The reaction activation energy was calculated by using Flynn-Wall method and the semi-IPN structure exhibited various phase-separation morphological characteristics. When PVAc composition was 10 wt%, the phase separation was not observed during the curing reaction, but the phase separation occurred in a similar fashion to nucleation and growth(NG) mechanism at room temperature. On the other hand, when PVAc composition was over 11.65 wt%, the phase separation was generated in the middle of the curing process. Consequently, the phase separation seemed to influence the curing reaction rate, which was also supported by the changing activation energy with conversion and PVAc composition. Finally, the total scattered intensity was measured at various temperature, and subsequently the diffusion rates of phase separation R(${\beta}m$) were evaluated.
The purpose of this study was to prepare lightweight foamed concrete by mixing coal fly ash of circulating fluidized bed combustion(CFBC) with cement, and to develop uses for recycling by analyzing carbonation behavior resulting from a change in conditions for pressurized carbonation. For concrete, CFBC coal fly ash was mixed with Portland cement to the water-binder ratio of 0.5, and aging was applied at room temperature after 3 days of curing at $20^{\circ}C$, RH 60%. For carbonation, temperature was fixed at $60^{\circ}C$ and time at 1 h in the use of autoclave. Pressures were controlled to be $5kgf/cm^2$ and the supercritical condition of $80kgf/cm^2$, and gas compositions were employed as $CO_2$ 100% and $CO_2$ 15%+N2 85%. In the characteristics of produced lightweight concrete, the characteristics of lightweight foamed concrete resulting from carbonation reaction were affirmed through rate of weight change, carbonation depth test, air permeability, and processing analysis for the day 28 specimen. Based on these results, it is concluded that the present approach could provide a viable method for mass production of eco-friendly lightweight foamed concrete from CFBC coal fly ash stabilized by carbonation.
Geopolymer concrete (GPC), which is recognised as an environmentally friendly alternative to ordinary Portland cement (OPC) concrete, has been reported to possess high fire resistance. However, very limited research has been conducted to investigate the behaviour of geopolymer concrete-filled steel tubular (GCFST) columns at either ambient or elevated temperatures. This paper presents the compressive test results of a total of 15 circular concrete-filled steel tubular (CFST) stub columns, including 5 specimens tested at room temperature, 5 specimens tested at elevated temperatures and the remaining 5 specimens tested for residual strength after exposure to elevated temperatures. The main variables in the test program include: (a) concrete type; (b) concrete strength; and (c) curing condition of geopolymer concrete. The test results demonstrate that GCFST columns have similar ambient temperature behaviour compared with the conventional CFST counterparts. However, GCFST columns exhibit better fire resistance than the conventional CFST columns. Meanwhile, it is found that the GCFST column made with heat cured GPC has lower strength loss than other columns after exposure to elevated temperatures. The research results highlight the possibility of using geopolymer concrete to improve the fire resistance of CFST columns.

The high-solid coatings were prepared by blending the synthesized acrylic resin in the previous paper, and hexamethylene diisocyanate-trimer and curing it at room temperature. The characterization of the films of the prepared coatings was performed. The $60^{\circ}$ specular gloss, impact resistance, cross-hatch adhesion, and heat resistance of the films proved to be good, and the pencil hardness, drying time, and pot-life proved to be slightly poor. From a viscoelastic measurement using a rigid-body pendulum, curing was accelerated with the Tg value.

This study aims to develop a rapidly hardening type of concrete to achieve the removal of form intensity (more than 10MPa) using the method of curing at room temperature in order to solve some economic environmental problems by omitting the steam curing process involved in producing PC (Precast Concrete). Therefore, this study evaluated a rapidly hardening cement containing a high amunt of C3S, which is very responsive in expressing early intensity, and a rapidly hardening type of concrete which uses some hardening accelerator to increase thehydration reaction of $C_3S$. The results of the experiment on concrete using some hardening accelerator are asfollows. In the slump flow experiment for identifying the liquidity and the air test, the desired values were met. The compression strength showed rapid expression response by 12 hours, and met the desired value within 6~9 hours. Its drying shrinkage value and Autogenous shrinkage value were measured as below ($-754.5{\times}10^{-6}$),and satisfied the requirements. In addition, in the Semi-Adiabatic Temperature Test, it was found that the concrete rose to its peak temperature within 24 hours and then its temperature dropped.

In this paper, a new set of structural and sacrificial material that is diamond like carbon (DLC)/photoresist for high performance piezoelectric RF-MEMS switches which are actuated in d33 mode is suggested. To avoid curing problem of photoresist sacrificial layer, DLC structure layer is deposited at room temperature by radio frequency plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition (RF-PECVD) method. And lead zirconate titanate (PZT) piezoelectric layer is deposited on structure layer directly at room temperature by rf magnetron sputtering system and crystallized by rapid thermal annealing (RTA) equipment. Particular attention is paid to the annealing of PZT film in order to crystallize into perovskite and the variation of mechanical properties of DLC layer as a function of annealing temperature. The DLC layer shows good performance for structure layer in aspect to Young's modulus and hardness. The fabrication becomes much simpler and cheaper with use of a photoresist.
