도시 환경은 인간 삶을 영위하기 위한 공동체 영역으로 도시 환경을 안전하고 쾌적하게 그리고 자연과 더불어 도시의 공간을 개선 발전시키고 있다. 도시의 궁극적 목적은 도시 내 기거하는 주민에 대해 창조적 환경을 조성해 주는 데 있으며, 이러한 창조적 환경은 공공 공간을 통해 주민과 환경사이에 최대한의 상호작용을 발생시켜주는 소통의 공간이라 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 부산지역 내의 구차치 공공문화회관 시설 현황과 구민의 활용도를 조사하고 자치구와의 정체성과 연계관계를 조사한다. 또한 공공문화회관간의 비교 분석을 통해 주민의 의식도를 조사한다. 이러한 연구는 주민자치에 따른 공공영역에 대한 자발적인 주민의사와 책임의식을 고취 시키며 질적으로 향상된 공공문화회관을 개선할 수 있는 방안을 마련할 수 있을 것이다.

This study explores Witi Ihimaera's The Whale Rider (1987) from ecological and postcolonial perspectives. Ihimaera is one of the prominent Maori writers who have critically voiced their concerns about the fragmentation of Maori tradition and the alienation of an environmentally friendly culture in New Zealand. Throughout the novel The Whale Rider, with his mythic imagination and cultural sensitivity, Ihimaera raises ecological awareness in terms of environmental justice and promotes critical consciousness regarding sociocultural and histo-political realities of the Maori people as alienated others in their ancestors' land. Revolving around the developmental process of a young Maori girl named after a mythical Maori ancestor Kahutia Te Rangi also known as the Whale Rider to inherit the Maori leadership, the novel describes the historical, cultural, emotional landscape of the Maori community in the white-centered society of New Zealand. In particular, this paper analyzes the leaving and homing process of narrator Rawiri which is deeply embedded in Maori myth and philosophy toward an eco-friendly culture and postcolonial reality. Indeed, Ihimaera skillfully juxtaposes young man Rawiri's experience outside the Maori community and young girl Kahu's life at the Maori home. In the end, while Kahu achieves her destiny in a mythical way to foster a new vision of harmonious co-existence that is rooted in Maori heritage and compatible with Western culture, Rawiri comes to understand the interrelatedness of all existence and embraces both the rational knowledge of scientific empiricism and the traditional knowledge of spiritual experiences. The novel The Whale Rider was also turned into a film by New Zealand's most influential female film director Niki Caro in 2002, and the film Whale Rider received international acclaim.

본 연구는 도심지에 위치한 명승과 그 주변지역을 보존하기 위해 성북동에 위치한 성락원 주변 필지의 면적을 분류한 후, 주변 거주민을 대상으로 명승 지정구역에 대한 의식조사, 만족도를 분석하였다. 연구 방법으로는 해당구역의 지적조사, 문헌조사, 현장조사, 설문조사를 각각 실시하였다. 설문조사에서 회수된 설문지는 문화재 인지도에 대한 빈도분석, 문화재 주변 만족도에 대한 신뢰도 분석, 필지 면적 별 만족도 분석, 전체만족도 관계에 대한 회귀분석, 필지 면적 별 차이검증을 위한 One-way ANOVA를 각각 실시하였다. 전체적인 문화재 인지도 분석 결과, 거주지 가까이에 위치한 서울선잠단지, 성락원, 만해한용운심우장, 상허이태준가옥, 서울한양도성 순으로 알고 있었으며 문화재에 대한 방문이 잘 이루어지지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 문화재 방문목적은 휴식과 산책이 가장 많았으며 문화재 보존관리의 수준은 보통 수준으로 응답하였고 문화재로 인한 불편도 크게 없는 것으로 나타났다. 문화재 보존을 위한 규제강도에 대한 인식은 보통수준이었고 문화재가 성북동 이미지에 미치는 영향에 대해 긍정적 반응이 대부분인 것으로 나타났다. 이는 문화재 자체가 마을 이미지에 긍정적 영향을 미치고 있으나, 문화재에 대한 접근이 쉽지 않고 생활에 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 판단된다. 문화재 주변 공간에 대한 전체만족도는 필지의 규모가 클수록 만족도가 높게 나타났으며 성북동 거주민 대부분의 만족도가 높게 나타났다. 소규모 필지($150m^2$ 미만) 거주자는 야간보행시 안전성, 재산 가치 상승, 사유재산권행사, 주변 환경과의 조화, 건축물 외관 상태, 문화 예술 정신 등 비물리적 고유성에 대해 만족도가 낮은 것으로 분석되었다. 이는 대규모 필지에 비해 소규모 필지의 주거환경의 질이 낮고, 성북동 일대의 재개발로 인한 타지역 주민의 유입, 자유롭지 못한 사유재산권 행사 등으로 해석할 수 있다. 또 시설물(가로등, 안내판 등)의 조화에 대해서 대체로 만족도가 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 도심지 내 명승 주변지역의 관리전략 수립 시, 문화재 안내판 시설 확충과 문화재 교육프로그램 도입 등 마을 문화재를 쉽게 접할 수 있도록 하여 문화재에 대한 이해를 높이고 마을 고유성을 유지하는 것이 요구된다.

본 연구는 지역의 경관관리를 위해 경관협정이 많이 이루어지고 있는 현 시점에 역사문화경관을 보전하기 위한 방안으로 경관협정을 제시하고자 하였으며, 경관협정의 내용이 포괄적이고 광범위한 내용으로 구성되어 있는 문제점 및 경관유형에 따른 경관관리 방법과 경관협정내용의 일반화가 필요하다는 문제에서 진행되었다. 이를 위해 역사문화경관 보전 관련 가이드라인 고찰 및 주민자치 및 참여에 의한 경관관리가 이루어지고 있는 국 내외 지역 사례 등을 고찰하여 도출된 항목들을 통해 지역민이 직접 참여하여 스스로 지킬 수 있는 지속적이고 실효성 있는 경관관리방법을 제안하고자 하였다. 역사문화경관 보존을 위해 지역 주민이 자발적으로 지키는 것이 바람직한 것으로 판단되는 경관협정 항목으로는 역사문화경관 주변의 조성에 있어 건축물 외형 및 외부공간 등이 역사문화경관을 모티브로 하여 접근성과 상징성이 나타나도록 조성할 것으로 고려해야 하며, 가로환경에서 보행 친화적인 환경을 유지하기 위해 옥외광고물 및 시설물의 유지관리에 주의를 기울이고, 기존의 역사문화경관과 조화로운 디자인을 추구하는 것을 제안하였다. 중요도가 낮아 필요시 포함될 수 있는 사항으로 제안할 수 있는 내용은 건축물의 규모를 제한하고, 건축설비시설의 은폐 및 집약화로 노출을 막는 세부 사항과 외부공간의 유지관리, 자연친화적인 재료의 사용 및 야간경관의 네온표지판관리 및 야간조명시간 운영에 대한 사항 등으로 나타났다. 연구 결과를 통해 전통성이 나타나는 역사문화경관의 경관관리를 위해 지역민이 스스로 추진하여 경관향상 및 지역민의 경관에 대한 의식의 전환을 기대할 수 있는 것으로 판단된다.

This dissertatioionstudied the relation between orientation of learning, marketing, entrepreneurs and organizational culture and organizational performance. This study tried to look out the factors that the peoples of an organization takes part in the organizational culture to be related to the cultural efficiency and organizational performance. Accordingly result of this study, orientation of learning, marketing, entrepreneurs is related to organizational culture and organizational performance. Customer orieatation of marketing orientation showed a positive effect for organizational non-finantial performance according to mission consciousness of organizational culture.

The purpose of this study is to explain the impact of hosting mega event using the system dynamics and to establish the model for analysis of the impact of hosting mega event. The results are as follows. First, the growth of inbound tourists have influenced long term effect. Second, the export has increased for a limited period only after the hosting mega event, but the increase in export returned to the previous state in terms of economic impact of mega event. Third, nation brand has been improved for a limited period only such as the economical impact in terms of socio-cultural impact of mega event. Last, citizenship consciousness has been improved after hosting mega event. Further researches have to be carried out to modify and reinforce the model.

This study was to investigate factors of risk perception on major environmental issues among general public and environmental experts in Korea. Structured questionnaire surveys were conducted to samples from general public and environmental experts during March and April, 2000. Total numbers of respondents were 773, general public and 353 experts. Analysis of the data showed that risk perception was correlated with health concern, environmental satisfaction, perception of environmental pollution, interest on the environmental issues, knowledge, experiences, and social-cultural consciousness, and so on. Overall environmental risk perception was affected by knowledge on environmental issues, experience of damage from environmental problems, sex and perception of environmental pollution. According to the results, environmental risk perception is not independent from social and psychological factors, and it may be desirable to consider the related factors in the process of risk communication for a more effective risk management or environmental policy.

We handed out questionaires to some high school students in order to find out the Environmental Consciousness, Knowledge, Values, and Attitudes of young people in Korea. The difference in such things of high school students between Korea and Australia was analyzed by comparison with aech other. It is revealed that the Environmental Knowledge of high school students in Korea is valued significantly high degree in most cases from this study. It is, however, not due to their Environment-Friendly Attitudes and besides the Environmental Terms are hardly understood to most of them. The Environmental concerns of young people in Korea and their view on the importance of Environment, which are not in accordance with those of young people in Australia on most issues, must have been mainly affected by differences in society, economy, education, and cultural background between the two countries.

Under the social conditions that an understanding of a men change socially and men's interests in their appearances are on the increase, this research intends to study and analyze the changes of people's sensibility of values on ads for men's cosmetics, which is said to be performed the social, cultural function reflecting the social consciousness, the value and the idea creating a new one. The documents for the research was sindonga. The documents were analyzed quantitatively in regard of contents of a linguistic expression and a visual expression showing on advertisements for man's cosmetics, a time series analysis. As a result of analyzing the consumption value through headline of an ad, the emotional value took the highest percentage extending whole periods. Beside emotional value, a time series analysis showed that social values appeared to the major themes in the 1970s, and functional values was important themes in 1980s, and the social values and functional values appeared equally during 1990-2002.

This paper studies on the user-interface design elements for the vehicle interior layout of the Korean AGT(Automated Guideway Transit). These are based on the cultural environment and space consciousness of both ethnic and class differences. This means human- oriented interface design. In order to apply the user-interface design, it is necessary to find the examples of lightrail at the foreign country, and research and analyze their design trend. Then try to combine into a concept of user interface design and interior layout. This study will be expected to apply the Korean AGT as a guide.
