동해 울릉 난수성 소용돌이의 물리적 특성 및 분류 (Physical Characteristics and Classification of the Ulleung Warm Eddy in the East Sea (Japan Sea))

  • 울릉 난수성 소용돌이의 물리적 특성 및 동한난류와의 관계를 울릉분지 주변 해역에서 1993년부터 2017년까지의 CMEMS (Copernicus Marine Environment Monitoring Service) 위성 고도계 자료 및 국립수산과학원(NIFS)의 CTD 자료를 사용하여 분석하였다. 울릉 난수성 소용돌이가 동한난류와 연결되어 있는 분포는 전체 소용돌이 숫자의 81%를 차지하며, 울릉 난수성 소용돌이가 동한난류로부터 완전히 분리되어 있는 형태는 7%에 불과하다. 울릉 난수성 소용돌이는 동한난류로부터 형성될 당시에는 그 내부에 고온, 고염의 대마난류의 해수특성을 보유하지만, 월동을 하는 경우에는 내부구조가 크게 변한다. 겨울에는 해수면 냉각에 의한 수직 대류에 의해 소용돌이의 내부에 $10^{\circ}C$, 34.2 psu의 표층 균질층이 만들어지며, 초봄에 최대 약 250 m 수심까지 깊어진다. 여름에는 소용돌이는 수심 100 m 이내의 상층에 성층구조, 하층에는 겨울철에 만들어진 균질층이 남아있는 구조로 변화한다. 1993년부터 25년 동안 62개의 울릉 난수성 소용돌이가 생성되었다. 매년 평균 2.5개의 울릉 난수성 소용돌이가 발생하였고, 평균 수명은 259일(약 8.6개월) 이었다. 울릉 난수성 소용돌이의 평균 크기는 동서방향으로 약 97 km, 남북방향으로 약 109 km 이다. 위성 고도계 자료를 사용한 경우의 울릉 난수성 소용돌이의 평균 크기가 CTD 수온 단면 자료를 사용한 경우보다 1~25 km 작게 산정된다.

Development and Testing of the Model of Health Promotion Behavior in Predicting Exercise Behavior

  • Introduction. Despite the fact that half of premature deaths are caused by unhealthy lifestyles such as smoking tobacco, sedentary lifestyle, alcohol and drug abuse and poor nutrition, there are no theoretical models which accurately explain these health promotion related behaviors. This study tests a new model of health behavior called the Model of Health Promotion Behavior. This model draws on elements and frameworks suggested by the Health Belief Model, Social Cognitive Theory, the Theory of Planned Action and the Health Promotion Model. This model is intended as a general model of behavior but this first test of the model uses amount of exercise as the outcome behavior. Design. This study utilized a cross sectional mail-out, mail-back survey design to determine the elements within the model that best explained intentions to exercise and those that best explained amount of exercise. A follow-up questionnaire was mailed to all respondents to the first questionnaire about 10 months after the initial survey. A pretest was conducted to refine the questionnaire and a pilot study to test the protocols and assumptions used to calculate the required sample size. Sample. The sample was drawn from 2000 eligible participants at two blue collar (utility company and part of a hospital) and two white collar (bank and pharmaceutical) companies located in Southeastern Michigan. Both white collar site had employee fitness centers and all four sites offered health promotion programs. In the first survey, 982 responses were received (49.1%) after two mailings to non-respondents and one additional mailing to secure answers to missing data, with 845 usable cases for the analyzing current intentions and 918 usable cases for the explaining of amount of current exercise analysis. In the follow-up survey, questionnaires were mailed to the 982 employees who responded to the initial survey. After one follow-up mailing to non-respondents, and one mailing to secure answers to missing data, 697 (71.0%) responses were received, with 627 (63.8%) usable cases to predict intentions and 673 (68.5%) usable cases to predict amount of exercise. Measures. The questionnaire in the initial survey had 15 scales and 134 items; these scales measured each of the variables in the model. Thirteen of the scales were drawn from the literature, all had Cronbach's alpha scores above .74 and all but three had scores above .80. The questionnaire in the second mailing had only 10 items, and measured only outcome variables. Analysis. The analysis included calculation of scale scores, Cronbach's alpha, zero order correlations, and factor analysis, ordinary least square analysis, hierarchical tests of interaction terms and path analysis, and comparisons of results based on a random split of the data and splits based on gender and employer site. The power of the regression analysis was .99 at the .01 significance level for the model as a whole. Results. Self efficacy and Non-Health Benefits emerged as the most powerful predictors of Intentions to exercise, together explaining approximately 19% of the variance in future Intentions. Intentions, and the interaction of Intentions with Barriers, with Support of Friends, and with Self Efficacy were the most consistent predictors of amount of future exercise, together explaining 38% of the variance. With the inclusion of Prior Exercise History the model explained 52% of the variance in amount of exercise 10 months later. There were very few differences in the variables that emerged as important predictors of intentions or exercise in the different employer sites or between males and females. Discussion. This new model is viable in predicting intentions to exercise and amount of exercise, both in absolute terms and when compared to existing models.

한국 대학생의 자기관과 감정표현불능증의 관계: 상호독립적 자기관 결핍에 따른 정서표현양가성 및 정서억제의 매개 효과 (The Relationship between Korean college students' Self-Construal and Alexithymia: Mediation Effects of Ambivalence over Emotional Expressiveness and Emotion Suppression according to the Deficiency of Independent Self-Construal)

  • 감정표현불능증은 자신의 감정을 인식하고 그것을 언어로 표현하는데 어려움을 느끼는 증상을 의미한다. 동양인들의 감정표현불능증 수준은 서양인들에 비해 일반적으로 높은 것으로 보고되어 왔다. 최근 미국에서 진행된 한 조사연구는 동양인의 높은 감정표현불능증 수준이 집단주의 문화에서 발달하는 상호협조적 자기관의 영향이라고 제안하였다. 이에 본 연구에서는 한국 대학생들의 상호독립적 및 상호협조적 자기관과 감정표현불능증 수준 및 정서표현양가성과 정서억제의 관계를 살펴보았다. 상관관계 분석 결과, 한국 대학생들의 감정표현불능증 수준은 상호협조적 자기관과 상관이 없었으며, 오히려 상호독립적 자기관과 뚜렷한 부적 상관을 보였다. 게다가 상호독립적 자기관은 정서표현양가성 및 정서억제와도 상관관계를 보였다. 따라서 상호독립적 자기관과 감정표현불능 수준의 부적 관계에 대한 정서표현양가성 및 정서억제의 이중 매개모형을 설정하고, Hayes와 Preacher (2014)의 Process 분석을 통해 매개효과를 추정하였다. 그 결과 상호독립적 자기관의 결핍은 감정표현불능증 수준을 높이는 직접효과도 유의하고, 정서표현양가성과 정서억제를 매개로 한 간접효과도 유의하였다. 추가적으로 간접효과를 분석하였을 때, 정서표현양가성의 단일 매개효과와 정서표현양가성을 경유한 정서억제의 이중매개효과가 유의하고, 정서억제에 의한 단일 매개효과는 유의하지 않았다. 이는 상호독립적 자기관 수준이 낮을수록, 정서표현양가성이 높아져서, 혹은 높아진 정서표현양가성이 정서억제 수준을 높여 감정표현불능수준에 영향을 줄 수 있음을 나타낸다. 본 연구의 결과는 현재 한국대학생들이 겪는 감정표현의 어려움이 전통적인 집단주의 문화의 상호협조적 자기관에서 기인한다기 보다, 상호독립적 자기관의 결핍에서 유발되며, 높은 정서표현갈등과 과도한 정서억제로 이어져 감정표현불능 수준을 높일 수 있음을 시사한다.

  • The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70$\pm$1.32mmHg/min)compared to CF dialyzers(4.32$\pm$0.55mmHg/min)(p<0.05). However, there was no observable difference in the UFR between the two dialyzers. Neither APD nor UFR showed any significant increase with an increasing number of reuses for up to more than 20reuses. A substantial number of failures observed in APD(larger than 20mmHe/min)on the reused dialyzers(2 out of 40 CP and S out 26 C-DAK) were attributed to the Possible damage on the fibers. The CF 15-11 HFDs which failed APD test did not show changes in the UFR compared to normal dialyzers indicating that APD is a more sensitive test than UFR test to evaluate the integrity of the fibers. 30527 T00401030527 ^x For quantitative measurement of reflected light from a clinical diagnostic strip, a prototype old reflectance photometer was designed. The strip loader and cassette were made to obtain more accurate reflectance parameters. The strip was illuminated at 45˚c through optical fiber and the intensity of reflected light was determined at rectanguLat angle using a photodiode. The kubelka-munk coefficient and reflection optical density were determined ar four different wavelengths(500, 550, 570 and 610nm) for blood glucose strip. For higher concentration than 300mg/41 about glucose, a saturation state of abforbance was observed at 500, 550 and 570nm. The mice were divided into two groups. One group was injected with Photofrin II, intravenously (2.5mg/kg body weight). The other group received no Photofrin II. Mice from both groups were irradialed for approximately 15 minutes at 100, 300, or 500 mW/cm2 with the argon (488nm/514.5 nm), dye(628nm) and gold vapor (pulsed 628 nm) laser light. A photosensitizer behaved as an added absorber. Under our experimental conditions, the presence of Photolfrin II increased surface temperature by at least 40% and the temperature rise due to 300 mW/cm2 irradiation exceeded values for hyperthermia. Light and temperature distributions with depth were estimated by a computer model. The model demonstrated the influence of wavelength on the thermal process and proved to be a valuable tool to investigate internal temperature rise. 30536 T00401030536 ^x We investigated the structural geometry of thirty-eight Korean femurs. The purpose of this study is to identify major geometrical differences between Korean femurs 3nd others that we believe belong to Caucasians so that we would be able to get insights into the femoral component design that fits Asians including Koreans. We utilized computerized tomography (CT) images of femurs extracted from cadavers. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm. The results suggested that the femoral component suitable for Asians should be different from the currently-used components designed and manufactured mostly by European or American companies. 30537 T00401030537 ^x It is well known that nonlinear propagation characteristics of the wave in the tissue may give very useful information for the medical diagnoisis. In this paper, a new method to detect nonlinear propagation characteristics of the internal vibration in the tissue for the low frequency mechanical vibration by using bispectral analysis is proposed. In the method, low frequency vibration of f0( = 100Hz) is applied on the surface of the object, and the waveform of the internal vibration x (t) is measured from Doppler frequency modulation of silmultaneously transmitted probing ultrasonic waves. Then, the bispectra of the signal x (t) at the frequencies (f0, f0) and (f0, 2f0) are calculated to estimate the nonlinear propagation characteristics as their magnitude ratio, w here since bispectrum is free from the gaussian additive noise we can get the value with high S/N. Basic experimental system is constructed by using 3.0 MHz probing ultrasonic waves and the several experiments are carried out for some phantoms. Our department has developed an information system for routine hematology using down-sized computer system. We have used an IBM 486 compatible PC with 16MB main memory, 210 MB hard disk drive, 9 RS-232C port and 24 pin dot printer. The operating system and database management system were SCO UNIX and SCO foxbase, respectively. For program development, we used Xbase language provided by SCO foxbase. The C language was used for interface purpose. To make the system use friendly, pull-down menu was used. The system connected to our hospital information system via application program interface (API), so the information related to patient and request details is automatically transmitted to our computer. Our system interfaced with fwd complete blood count analyzers(Sysmex NE-8000 and Coulter STKS) for unidirectional data tansmission from analyzer to computer. The frame and leaflet of the polymer valve were made from polyurethane, To evaluate the hemodynamic performance of the polymer valve a comparative study of flow dynamics past a polymer valve and a St. Jude Medical prosthetic valve under physiological pulsatile flow conditions in vitro was made. Comparisons between the valves were made on the transvalvular pressure drop, regurgitation volume and maximum valve opening area. The polymer valve showed smaller regurgitation volume and transvalvular pressure drop compared to the mechanical valve at higher heart rate. Because the point of maximun temperature of laser-irradiated gelatin exists below the surface due to surface cooling, evaporation at the boiling temperature is made explosively from below the surface. The important parameters of this process are the conduction loss to laser power absorption (defined as the conduction-to-laser power parameter, Nk), the convection heat transfer at the surface to conduction loss (defined as Bi), dimensionless extinction coefficient (defined as Br.), and dimensionless irradiation time (defined as Fo). Dependence of Fo on Nk and Bi has been observed by experiment, and the results have been compared with the numerical results obtained by solving a 2-dimensional conduction equation. Fo and explosion depth (from the surface to the point of maximun temperature) are increased when Nk and Bi are increased.To find out the minimum laser power for explosive evaporative removal process, steady state analysis has been also made. We propose a new image reconstruction method using internal current density data measured by NMR. We obtained a two-dimensional current density distribution within a phantom by processing the real and imaginary MR images from a 4.77 NMR machine. We implemented a resistivity mage reconstruction algorithm using the finite element method and sensitivity matrix. Optimal stimulus parameters, which can minimize muscle fatigue and can achieve effective muscle contraction were determined in slow and fast muscles in Sprague-Dawley rats. Stimulus patterns of our stimulator were designed to simulate electromyographic activity monitored during locomotion of normal subjects. Muscle types of the lower extremity were classified according to their mechanical property of contraction, which are slow muscle (msoleus m.) and fast muscle (medial gastrocneminus m., rectus femoris m., vastus lateralis m.). Optimal parameters of electrical stimulation for slow muscles were 20 Hz, 0.2 ms square pulse. For fast muscle, 40 Hz, 0.3 ms square pulse was optimal to produce repeated contraction. Higher stimulus intensity was required when synergistic muscles were stimulated simultaneously than when they were stimulated individually. Electrical stimulation for each muscle was designed to generate bipedal locomotion, so that individual muscles alternate contraction and relaxation to simulate stance and swing phases. Portable electrical stimulator with 16 channels built in microprocessor was constructed and applied to paraplegic patients due to lumbar cord injury. The Laplace partial differential equation which represents the fluid mechanics of the Cochlea has been transformed into two-dimensional electrical transmission line. This electrical modelling of the basilar membrane (BM) is clearly useful for the next approach to the further. This paper shows that two-dimension model is qualitatively better than one-dimensional model both in amplitude and phase responses of the BM displacement. The present model is only for frequency response.   • The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70${\pm}$1.32mmHg/min)compared to CF dialyzers(4.32${\pm}$0.55mmHg/min)(p<0.05). However, there was no observable difference in the UFR between the two dialyzers. Neither APD nor UFR showed any significant increase with an increasing number of reuses for up to more than 20reuses. A substantial number of failures observed in APD(larger than 20mmHe/min)on the reused dialyzers(2 out of 40 CP and S out 26 C-DAK) were attributed to the Possible damage on the fibers. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm.   • 목 적 : 결핵에 대한 국가결핵관리사업이 시작된 이후 결핵의 점차적으로 감소하고 있기는 하나 최근에 다제내성균결핵환자가 심각할 정도로 증가하고 있다. 다제내성균결핵은 기존의 항결핵제에 잘 반응하지 경향이 있으며 이는 낮은 치료순응도, 2차약제의 높은 부작용 그리고 사용할 수 있는 약제의 수가 많지않은 때문으로 생각된다. 본 연구의 목적은 일개 국립결핵병원에서 입원치료중인 결핵환자의 임상양태를 살펴보고 기존의 결핵치료의 문제점을 파악하여 궁극적으로 다제내성균결핵을 포함한 결핵의 치료효율을 개선시키고자 함이다. 방 법 : 1995년 12월 30일을 기준시점으로 국립마산결핵병원에 임원한 환자 336명을 대상으로 성별 및 나이, 처음결핵을 발견하게된 계기, 가족력, 환자의 생활근거지의 지역별 분포, 과거결핵치료력 등의 역학적 조사와 입원 당시의 주증상, 흉부 X-선 사진상의 병소별 분포, 동반질환 그리고 결핵치료중에 발생한 부작용등 임상양태에 대한 조사와 입원전 사용한 약제별 분류와 약제감수성검사의 결과 등에 대해 descriptive cross-sectional study를 시행하였다. 결 과 : 연령별 분포는 20대에서 50대까지 고른 분포를 보였으며 성별로는 남자가 269예로 압도적으로 많았다. 발견계기별 분포는 보건소가 64.6%로 가장 높았다. 입원당시 주증상으로는 체중감소가 가장 흔했으며 다음으로는 기침, 호흡곤란 등의 순서였다. 흉부 X-선 사진상 병소별 분포는 양측성 병소를 가진 예가 201예로 가장 많았다. 동반질환을 가진 경우가 130예 였는데 그 중 당뇨가 49예로 가장 많았으며 다음으로는 간질환, 정신질환 등의 순서였다. 95예에서 가족력이 있었는데 부모가 결핵을 앓았던 경우가 40예로 가장 많았으며 다음으로는 형제, 부부 등의 순서였다. 결핵을 처음 진단받은 시기별 분포에서 1980년 이전은 31예 였으나 이후 최근으로 오면서 약간씩 증가하는 추세였다. 지역별 분포로는 부산, 경남지역이 압도적으로 많았다. 과거치료력을 가진 258예중 1회의 치료력을 가진 경우는 86예, 2회가 60예 그리고 3회이상이 112예 였다. 과거치료력을 가진 환자의 약제순응도별 분포는 133예만이 규칙적으로 복약하였다. 입원전 사용한 약제별 분포는 INH, EMB, RFP, PZA 등을 사용한 경우가 82예, INH, EMB, RFP 등을 사용한 경우가 50예 였으며 INH, EMB, RFP, PZA 이외 1가지 약제를 더 사용한 경우는 20예, 3가지 이상의 약제를 더 사용한 경우는 97예 였다. 154예를 대상으로 약제감수성검사를 한 결과 5제 이상 내성이 생긴 경우가 77예 였다. 치료도중 발생한 부작용으로는 위장장애가 58예로 가장 많았으며 다음으로는 피부발진 및 소양감 그리고 관절통 등의 순서였다. 결 론 : 원인 모를 체중감소가 있을 때에는 결핵을 의심해 볼 수 있을 것으로 생각된다. 결핵을 치료할 때 환자에게 결핵의 치료과정에 대해 충분한 설명을 해 줌으로 치료의 순응도를 높일 수 있을 것으로 생각된다. 초치료시 균음전화시기가 늦다든지, 여러가지 상황으로 치료에 실패 할 가능성이 높다든지 환자의 여건상 지속적인 항결핵제 투여가 어렵다고 생각될 때는 수술요법이 고려되어야 할 것으로 생각된다. 초치료실패후 재치료약제를 선택할 때는 이전에 사용한 초치료약제와 혼용처방이 되지않도록 주의해야 할 것으로 생각된다.

이면교잡(二面交雜)에 의(依)한 고추과중(果重)의 구성요소(構成要素)에 대(對)한 유전분석(遺傳分析) (Diallel Analysis of Anatomical Components of the Fruit in Red Pepper)

  • 건과육중(乾果肉重)(또는 건과육율(乾果肉率)이 상대적(相對的)으로 많은 건과용(乾果用) 고추를 육성(育成)하는데 기초자료(基礎資料)를 얻고자 8개친(個親)과 이면교배(二面交配)한 $F_1$ 28조합(組合)을 공시(供試)하여 1건과중(乾果重)에 대(對)한 구성요소(構成要素)의 비율(此率)을 조사(調査)하고 과경중(果梗重), 태좌중(胎座重), 종자중(種子重) 및 과육중(果肉重)의 잡종강세(雜種强勢), 조합능력(組合能力) 및 유전(遺傳) 분석(分析)을 한바 얻어진 결과(結果)는 다음과 같다. 친(親)과 $F_1$에 있어서 1건과중(乾果重)과 구성요소(構成要素)들은 초기과(初期果)가 중기과(中期果)에서 보다 모두 무거웠다. 그리고 초(初), 중기과(中期果)에 있어서 이들은 모두 친간(親間), $F_1$간(間)에 1%의 유의(有意)를 나타내었고, $F_1$이 친(親)보다 무거웠으나 초기과(初期果)의 친(親)은 중기과(中期果)의 $F_1$보다 무거웠다. 1건과중(乾果重)에 대(對)한 구성요소(構成要素)들의 비율(比率)은 과육(果肉)이 가장 높고 다음은 종자(種子)였다. 과육율(果肉率)은 초기과(初期果)보다 중기과(中期果)에서 다소(多少) 증가(增加)되었고 종자율(種子率)은 상대적(相對的)으로 감소(減少)되었으며 과경(果梗)과 태좌(胎座)는 수확시기(收穫時期)에 따른 차이(差異)가 없었다. 무거운 친(親)을 초월(超越)하는 $F_1$조합(組合)이 상당(相當)히 있었으며 평균(平均)heterosis(%)는 모두 정(正)의 값을 나타내었고 평균(平均)heterosis(%)는 종자(種子)와 1건과중(乾果重) 외(外)는 모두 부식(負植)를 나타내었다. GCA는 SCA는 모두 1%의 유의성(有意性)을 나타내었으며 GCA가 SCA보다 컸다. 무거운 쪽이 모두 우성(優性)을 나타내었고 과경(果梗)은 부분우성(部分優性), 태좌(胎座), 과육(果肉) 및 1건과중(乾果重)은 완전우성(完全優性), 종자(種子)는 초우성(超優性)을 타나내었다. 유효유전자수(有效遺傳子數)는 과경(果梗)과 태좌(胎座)는 1개(個), 종자과육(種子果肉) 1건과중(乾果重)은 2개(個)로 추정(推定)되었으며 유전력(遺傳力)은 모두 높았다.

ADCP 정지법 측정 시 미계측 영역의 유량 산정 정확도 분석 (Accuracy Analysis of ADCP Stationary Discharge Measurement for Unmeasured Regions)

  • ADCP는 하천의 3차원 유속과 수심 자료를 매우 효율적이고 빠르게 측정할 수 있으며, 그 자료의 공간 및 시간적 해상도는 기존의 전통적인 유속 측정 방법들과 비교하여 매우 정밀하다는 장점이 있다. 하지만 ADCP는 하상 부근과 센서 근처에서의 미계측 영역이 발생하고 이 미계측 영역의 유속을 얼마나 정확하게 산정하느냐에 따라 ADCP 유량 측정의 정확도에 영향을 미친다. 본 연구에서는 ADCP 유량 산정 시 범용적으로 활용되고 있는 1/6 멱법칙(power law)을 활용한 미계측 영역의 유량 측정 결과의 정확도를 분석하였다. 이를 위해 실규모 직선수로에서 ADCP를 고정시킨 상태에서 측정한 유속 자료를 1/6 멱법칙과 대수 법칙(log law)을 적용하여 외삽 한 유속분포와 유량 산정 결과를 ADV를 이용하여 정밀하게 측정한 결과와 비교하였다. 비교 결과 전체적으로 대수 법칙으로 외삽한 경우가 높은 정확도를 나타냈으며, 수표면 근처 미계측 영역에서는 1/6 멱법칙은 유량을 작게 산정하는 경향을 나타냈고, 하상 근처의 미계측 영역에서는 유량을 크게 산정하는 경향을 나타냈다. 이 결과는 기존 1/6 멱법칙을 활용한 하상 및 수표면 부근 미계측 영역 유량 추정 방법이 오차를 수반함을 의미한다. 따라서 ADCP 정지법 측정 방식을 사용할 경우, 대수 법칙이 1/6 멱법칙보다 정확한 상하부 미계측 유량 추정 결과를 보여주었으므로 대안으로 고려되어야 할 것이다. 또한 제방 근처 미계측 영역의 유량 측정 정확도를 높이기 위해서는 수심이 0.6 m 이상을 확보한 측선을 기준으로 유량을 산정할 경우 신뢰도 높은 유량 측정 결과를 보였다. 향후, ADCP 정지법 측정 방식에 비해 보다 많이 활용되고 있는 보트탑재 이동식 ADCP의 경우도 이와 같은 검증이 필요하다고 하겠다.

Glass fiber 강화 복합레진을 사용한 3본 고정성 국소의치의 개념 설계 연구 (Conceptual Design of the Three Unit Fixed Partial Denture with Glass Fiber Reinforced Hybrid Composites)

  • 본 연구에서는 knitted glass fabric 강화 레진에 대한 치과보철소재로서의 적용가능성을 평가하기 위한 목적으로, 가장 높은 수준의 교합하중이 작용하게 되는 구치부 3본 고정성국소의치에 이 재료를 사용하는 경우에 대해 해석을 수행하였다. 우선 구치부3본 고정성국소의치에 대해 knitted glass fabric 강화 레진을 적용한 두 가지 설계 개념을 상정하였고, 각 설계형상에 대한 유한요소해석을 하였다. 강도 평가를 위해서75N의 생리적인 반복 수직 교합 하중 조건을 부여, 보철물에 유도되는 국소응력을 피로강도측면에서 고찰하였다. 각각의 설계에는 knitted glass fabric을 모재로 하고 보강재로 unidirectional 형의 glass 복합재가 사용되었다. 본 연구에서 개념설계 된 두 가지의 3본 고정성국소의치는 수직 교합 하중 75N 에 대해 충분한 강성과 강도를 가진 것으로 분석되었다. 가공치와 knitted caps사이의 연결 부위에서 국소적인 응력 집중이 관찰되었으나 그 크기는 재료의 피로강도 범위 이내였으며 국소적인 설계변경을 통하여 응력분포를 더욱 개선할 수 있을 것으로 추정하였다. 본 연구를 통해 knitted glass fabric 은 새로운 치과 보철 소재로서의 그 가능성이 기대된다.

강한 태양 및 지자기 활동 기간 중에 아리랑 위성 1호(KOMPSAT-1)의 궤도 변화 (DRAG EFFECT OF KOMPSAT-1 DURING STRONG SOLAR AND GEOMAGNETIC ACTIVITY)

  • 이 연구에서는 태양 및 지자기 활동에 의해 발생한 우주환경변화가 우리나라 위성인 아리랑위성1호(KOMPSAT-1)의 궤도에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 인공위성의 궤도변화는 정상적인 상태에서도 자연적인 섭동에 의해 지속적으로 발생하지만, 거대한 태양폭발에 의한 지구 주변 우주환경이 급격히 변화할 때 고층대기의 밀도변화로 인해 크게 발생한다. 특히 이러한 현상은 아리랑위성 1호와 같이 저궤도 상에서 운영되는 위성에 직접적인 영향을 미친다. 이 때, 태양활동에 의한 지구 주변 우주환경의 변화는 크게 두 가지로 구분할 수 있다. 하나는 태양 플레어 (Flare)가 폭발했을 때 고에너지 복사(Radiation)로 인해 지구 고층대기가 가열되어 팽창하고 이런 결과로 고층대기에 있는 중성입자밀도가 급격히 증가하는 것이다. 다른 하나는 코로나 물질 방출(Coronal Mass Ejections) 등에 의해 발생한 지자기폭풍기간 동안 플라즈마 대류와 입자들의 하강으로 전기장이 강해져 상당량의 줄가열(Joule heating)과 하강입자가열(precipitating particle heating)이 발생하고 이로 인해 중성입자밀도가 증가하는 것이다. 두 가지 원인에 대한 영향을 구분하여 알아보기 위해, 우리는 태양 및 지자기 자료를 면밀히 분석하여 2001년에서 2002년 동안 5개의 기간을 선정하였다. 그 결과 위성의 대기저항가속도는 태양의 극자외선(Extreme Ultra-Violet)의 증가와 함께 약 하루 정도의 시간 지연을 가지고 유사하게 변화하고 있음을 확인하였다(R=0.92). 그리고 지자기폭풍이 발생한 기간동안 대기저항가속도는 지자기폭풍에 의한 Dst 변화와 상당히 유사하게 그리고 거의 동시에 급격히 변화하는 것을 확인하였다. 마지막으로 우리는 위성의 대기저항가속도의 변화는 전반적으로는 오랜 기간 동안 고에너지 복사에 의한 효과로 나타나고 있으나 짧은 기간(하루 미만) 동안 크게 발생하는 대기저항가속도의 변화는 지자기폭풍에 의한 효과로 보고 있다.
