On the contrary to the expansion of feasibility studies on public construction and development projects, there is few feasibility studies on S&T, especially large-scale basic research facilities. Based on this critical mind, we tried the first feasibility study on large-scale basic research facilities, that is, the 4th Generation Light Source. First, it is validated whether the construction of 4th Generation Light Source is economically feasible and second, if economically feasible, the optimal place and time for construction are analyzed by using Analytical Hierarchy Process. This research shows that the construction is economically feasible irregardless of scenarios on future bio-medicine industry growth and to construct at Pohang in 2006 is optimal strategy. On the basis of this analysis, the feasibility studies on large-scale basic research facilities are expected to be more expanded and developed.

The purpose of this study is to examine the current status of Quick Response adoption, and to recognize the implementation problems of QR system in the Korean fashion industry. We reviewed the theoretical background of QR system, analyzed the current status of QR adoption, and identified critical issues to implement the system in our fashion business environment. Previous literatures and information gained from communication service organizations were used for this study The major problems recognized are lack of inter-organizational information network, closed supply channels, non-standardization of QR implementation, and low level of information technology usage including KAN, POS, and EDI. Strong mutual partnership between streams for shared common goals and clear QR mind setting of top management with commitment to information sharing are considered needed for the successful adoption of QR system in domestic fashion industry.

Sleep plays a critical role in homeostasis of the body and mind. Insomnia is a disease that causes disturbances in the initiation and maintenance of sleep. Insomnia is known to affect not only the sleep process itself but also an individual's cognitive function and emotional regulation during the daytime. It increases the risk of various neuropsychiatric diseases such as depression, anxiety disorder, and dementia. Although it might appear that insomnia only affects the nervous system, it is also a systemic disease that affects several aspects of the body, such as the cardiovascular, endocrine, and immune systems; therefore, it increases the risk of various diseases such as hypertension, diabetes mellitus, and infection. Insomnia has a wide range of effects on our bodies because sleep is a complex and active process. However, a high proportion of patients with insomnia do not seek treatment, which results in high direct and indirect costs. This is attributed to the disregard of many of the negative effects of insomnia. Therefore, we expect that understanding insomnia as a systemic disease will provide an opportunity to understand the condition better and help prevent secondary impairment due to insomnia.

This essay addresses the missing conversation in Keats studies by showing how an enduring mystery of Romantic writing—the medium of poetic process and the physical conditions of enunciation—remains a central question in the Hyperion fragments. It is my argument that the tropes of material textuality prevalent in the Hyperions represent a bold cultural statement in which Keats reacts to the major premises underlying the Romantic culture's notion of poetry as abstraction: the Romantic notion of literary (re)production as a product of the activity of a mind. Keats's self-conscious, symbolic representation of the mechanics of poetry-making can be read as an investigation of the ways in which the Romantics were aware of and even eager to articulate the instabilities of their position on the relations between words and things. This essay does not focus exclusively on the physical embodiment of Keats's work as such, so much as the second-generation Romantic poet's contribution to the Romantics' self-conscious and critical understanding of the depiction, perception and ideologies of their poetry and its mediation.

건설교통부에서는 건설부문의 정보화를 선도하고자 건설CALS를 시작하였다. 건설CALS는 공공건설부문을 정보화하고 건설인의 정보화마인드 정착에 기여하였으며 투자대비 비용절감 효과도 큰 반면, 시스템의 노후와와 개발한 시스템의 확산전략 미수립 등의 이유로 효과가 반감되고 있다. 현 시점에서 건설CALS의 현주소를 정확히 파악하여 향후 나아갈 바를 정립하고 도입효과를 극대화시킬 필요가 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 전략을 수립하는데 효과가 있는 SWOT분석 기법을 이용하여 건설CALS가 지향해야 할 핵심성공요인을 제시하였다. 이를 위해 문헌조사를 통해 건설CALS를 둘러싼 내${\cdot}$외부환경을 고찰하여 25개의 강점, 약점, 기회 및 위협요인을 도출하였으며 SO, ST, WO, WT 기본전략을 수립하였다. 최종적으로 전략을 달성하기 위한 14개의 핵심성공요인을 제시하였으며, 제시한 요인의 타당성 확보를 위해 건설 각 분야의 전문가에게 검증하는 절차를 거쳤다. 이 연구에서 제시한 결과들은 향후 건설CALS가 나아갈 이정표를 제시하는데 의의가 있다. 성공요인 달성을 위한 중점 추진분야 선정, 세부연구과제 도출 등의 후속연구가 지속적으로 수행되어야 한다.

본 연구는 탈관습적인 '불륜' 을 주제로 하는 불륜 드라마의 공급과 소비의 증가에 주목하면서, 기혼 남녀의 성적 사회화에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 불륜 드라마에 대한 기혼 남녀의 문제의식과 관련요인을 밝힌 실증연구이다. 본 연구는 기혼 남녀의 '불륜 드라마 비판의식 유무' 에 부부간 성적 자기결정권, 개인 심리특성(정서적 성숙, 정서적 소외감, 자기지각), 주변의 환경적 특성(혼외관계 만연성), 그리고 인구사회학적 배경(성별, 연령, 학력, 경제수준) 등을 미치는 영향을 파악하였다. 기혼남녀(614명)를 대상으로 온라인 설문조사를 실시하여 얻은 자료를, SPSS를 이용하여 이항 로지스틱 분석(binary logistic analysis)을 실시하였다. 자료 분석 결과 밝혀진 내용은, 첫째, 불륜 드라마에 대해 비교적 양호한 수준의 비판의식을 가진 기혼 남녀는 46%이며, 전반적으로 불륜 드라마에 대한 기혼 남녀의 비판의식 수준은 다소 저조한 편이다. 둘째, '지나친 불륜미화', '불륜(외도)를 부추김', '가정의 가치훼손' 등의 문제점에 대한 인식에서는 성별 간에 유의한 차이가 없었지만, '노골적 성적묘사' 에 관해서는 남성보다 여성이 훨씬 비판적인 성별특성에 따른 차이점이 발견되었다. 셋째, 기혼 남성들은 '자기지각' 과 '부부간 성적 자기결정권' 이, 기혼 여성의 경우에는 '부부간 성적 자기결정권' 과 '정서적 소외' 가 각각 불륜 드라마 비판의식 유무에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 밝혀졌다.

마이클 폴라니의 암묵적 지식이라는 개념은 비판철학 전통 안에서 과학적 객관성이 철학적 사유를 제한하고 있다는 취지에서 나온 것으로, 사회 속에서 살아가는 사람들이 명시적으로 증명되어 학습한 지식 이외에도 의미의 영역에 묻혀 살고 있음을 강조한 개념이다. 특히, 한 사회 안에서 사람들이 공유하고 있고 증명의 대상으로 판단되지 않아서 언변으로 표면화하지 않는 지식을 그는 암묵적 지식이라고 규정하였다. 이 개념을 통해 폴라니는 비판철학 전통 안에서의 의심과 회의의 역할이 시공간적 맥락에 따라 변화함을 지적하고 비판철학을 극복한 포스트-비판철학을 구상하였다. 퍼스도 근본적인 회의가 가능하지 않음을 지적하면서 데카르트를 비판했으며, 의심과 믿음의 관계에 대한 고찰을 통해 인식의 확실성이 어디에서 오는지 탐구하였다. 이 논문은 퍼스와 폴라니의 반회의론적 입장을 비교하여 공통점과 차이점을 분석하고, 퍼스가 과학철학뿐만 아니라 과학사회학의 영역에서도 중요한 의미를 가짐을 강조한다. 폴라니의 철학적 사유는 자신의 경험에 대한 사회학적 분석에서 출발하는 것에 비해, 퍼스의 가추법은 논리학과 수학에 바탕을 두고 엄밀한 인식과 사유에 초점을 맞추고 있는 것으로 보인다. 그러나, 퍼스의 믿음과 습관에 대한 고찰을 세부적으로 살펴보면 믿음과 습관에 대한 설명에서 퍼스도 과학적 탐구의 과정을 사회적으로 파악하고 있다는 점을 발견할 수 있다. 폴라니는 과학적 인식이 명확한 원칙이나 엄밀함으로만 가능하지는 않다는 입장을 가지고 있으며, 자연과학 분야 과학자들의 공동체에 대한 구체적인 논의를 중심으로 자신의 이론을 펼친다는 점이 퍼스와의 가장 큰 차이점이다. 퍼스는 당시까지의 논리학과 수학에 대한 비판과 자신이 정의한 가추법을 지속적인 탐구의 과정과 과학자들의 공동체에 적용했으나, 폴라니는 현실 공동체에서 시작한 암묵적 지식의 개념을 충분히 발전시키지 못하고 개인적 지식이라는 영역 자체의 사회적 구조와 함의를 모호하게 남겨둔 한계를 가지고 있다.

본 논문은 중학교 평면 논증기하를 원론 교육적 입장에서 분석 고찰한 것이다. 이를 위하여 먼저 'Euclid 원론'에 따른 고전적 원론 교육을 목적, 내용, 방법의 측면에서 분석하고 그 역사를 개관하였다. 이어 고전적 원론 교육에 대한 비판적 논의를 고찰하고 Clairaut의 '기하학 원론'과 Branford의 역사-발생적 기하 교육론을 중심으로 역사-발생적 기하 원론 교육을 목적, 내용, 방법의 측면에서 분석하였다. 그리고 이러한 분석과 근세 이후 기하교과서의 변천과정에 비추어 현재의 중학교 논증기하 교재의 기본가정을 분석하고, 그 내용 및 체제를 가설적 작도, 정리의 제시순서, 증명진술 방법, 정의제시 방법, 연습문제로 나누어 분석하였다. 마지막으로 이러한 논의를 바탕으로, 현 중학교 기하교재의 기본적 관점을 탐색하고 두 원론의 상보적 통합 방안을 모색하였다.

The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of the rural community planning focusing on the stepwise empowerment system in Jinan-gun, Jeollabuk-do province. This paper also tries to examine how this system affect the awareness for community planning and empowerment of the residents. The satisfaction of the people who join this program were also investigated. The subjects of the research were divided into two groups. Group A consisted of the people who join the system from the first stage, and group B consisted of the people who joined the fourth stage directly. The differences of the recognition, capability changes and satisfaction between two groups were compared and analyzed by questionnaires. The results of this research can be summarized as follows. The first, group A recognized the community planning system in Jinan-gun more positively than group B. They thought that it's very useful and beneficial for their community and this system should be continued further. The second, group A considered that they achieved bigger advancement in community design capabilities in terms of personal, relational and social aspects than group B. In addition, group A also showed higher satisfaction for rural community planning than group B. Based on the results, alternatives for rural community planning were drawn as follows. The first, considering that group A showed more positive responses, starting from the first stage is more stable way to succeed in rural community planning. Which means the critical condition of community design is not the community business but the improving the public awareness and community mind. The second, it's considered that the number of participation is proportional to the advancement of capability in community project, so improving residents' opportunity to participation in community design might be effective. The third, community leader is another critical condition. It is needed to pay more attention to the education for the rural community leader with good experience and capability of community affairs.

This paper presents a critical analysis of the current application of big data in higher education and how Learning Analytics (LA), and Educational Data Mining (EDM) are helping to shape learning in higher education institutions that have applied the concepts successfully. An extensive literature review of Learning Analytics, Educational Data Mining, Learning Management Systems, Informal Learning and Online Social Networks are presented to understand their usage and trends in higher education pedagogy taking advantage of 21st century educational technologies and platforms. The roles of and benefits of these technologies in teaching and learning are critically examined. Imperatively, this study provides vital information for education stakeholders on the significance of establishing a teaching and learning agenda that takes advantage of today's educational relevant technologies to promote teaching and learning while also acknowledging the difficulties of 21st-century learning. Aside from the roles and benefits of these technologies, the review highlights major challenges and research needs apparent in the use and application of these technologies. It appears that there is lack of research understanding in the challenges and utilization of data effectively for learning analytics, despite the massive educational data generated by high institutions. Also due to the growing importance of LA, there appears to be a serious lack of academic research that explore the application and impact of LA in high institution, especially in the context of informal online social network learning. In addition, high institution managers seem not to understand the emerging trends of LA which could be useful in the running of higher education. Though LA is viewed as a complex and expensive technology that will culturally change the future of high institution, the question that comes to mind is whether the use of LA in relation to informal learning in online social network is really what is expected? A study to analyze and evaluate the elements that influence high usage of OSN is also needed in the African context. It is high time African Universities paid attention to the application and use of these technologies to create a simplified learning approach occasioned by the use of these technologies.
