'학교로 가는 생활과학교실' 프로그램이 참여자의 과학적 태도, 흥미도, 만족도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of 'Hands-on Science Class at School' Program on Participants' Scientific Attitudes, Interest and Satisfaction)

  • The purposes of the study were to examine the effect of 'Hands-on Science Class at School' program on students' scientific attitude and interest, and to investigate the satisfaction differences by students, lecturers, and local operating organizations respectively. For this study, 1,054 students from 1st to 6th grade participated in the national-wide survey, while they engaged in the program activities during 3 months. 496 students participated in scientific attitude test and 558 students answered to scientific interest test. For the program satisfaction survey, 689 out of 1,054 students, 363 lecturers and 55 local operating organizations also participated. The data show that 'Hands-on Science Class at School' program gave positive influences on students' scientific attitude improvement. The program also had considerable effects on increasing students' interest toward science as well. The satisfaction survey results showed that students' satisfaction with the program was significantly higher than lecturers'. The educational implications are discussed.

창의적 문제해결 학습 모형에 따른 초등학교 수학영재 프로그램 개발 (Program development according to the Mathematically Gifted- Creative Problem Solving (MG-CPS) model)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 초등학교 수학 영재들의 수학적 창의성 신장을 위한 교육 프로그램을 개발하고 그 효과를 살펴보는데 있다. 프로그램 개발을 위해 기존의 영재교육 자료 및 관련 문헌을 분석하였으며, 이를 바탕으로 초등수학에서 가장 큰 비중을 차지하고 있는 수와 연산영역의 내용과 관련된 '연산빙고게임'을 토대로 수학영재학급의 교육 프로그램 및 교수-학습 자료를 개발하였다. 프로그램의 효과는 '창의적 산출물 평가틀'의 요소 중 수행능력을 중심으로 살펴보았다. 개발된 프로그램의 창의적 문제해결력의 효과를 살펴본 결과 개인별로 속도의 차이는 있었으나 수행 능력에 있어서 모든 학생이 점차로 향상되는 모습을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • 현재의 컴퓨터교육은 지나치게 응용소프트웨어 활용 중심으로 되어 있다. 즉, 응용소프트웨어의 기능이나 단순한 조작법을 익히는데 많은 내용이 할당되어 있으며, 학생들의 사고의 과정은 생략한 채 응용 프로그램을 단순히 따라하거나, 기능 위주의 교육이 대부분이다. 따라서, 변화가 요구되는 환경에 부응하는 창의성과 문제 해결력을 신장시키는데 매우 미흡한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 초등학교 5, 6학년 수준에서 프로그램 언어를 통해 컴퓨터 자체를 학습 할 수 있고, 창의성과 문제 해결력을 신장 시킬 수 있도록 하는 프로그래밍 교육과정과 교재에 관하여 연구하였으며 이를 직접 적용하고 평가한 결과 매우 효과적으로 분석되었다.

  • 본 연구는 사원 개인을 분석단위로 사원제안제도의 활용에 영향을 미치는 요인을 살펴보았다. 또한 사원제안제도가 지금까지 제조업 중심으로 이루어져 왔지만 최근 서비스업을 중심으로 비제조업에도 사원제안제도가 확산됨에 따라 업종별 차이도 분석하였다. 연구 가설은 Unsworth(2001)의 개인 창의성 분류와 Frese et al.(1999)의 사원제안제도 일반 모형에서 도출하였다. 자동차 조립업체와 은행을 대상으로 자료를 수집하였고 PLS로 통계분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과를 보면 Frese et al.(1999)의 일반모형은 대체로 지지되었으며 업종간 유의한 차이를 발견하지는 못하였다. 그러나 모형 내부 변수들의 상관관계의 정도는 유의한 통계적 차이를 보였다. 이를 바탕으로 비제조업의 사원제안제도 활용에 대한 제언을 제시하였다.

관찰 및 추천에 의한 영재교육대상자 선발방식 분석 - 2011학년도 대학부설 과학영재교육원 입학전형을 중심으로 -

  • The methods of selection through observations and recommendations were introduced in the process of recruiting new students for the science education institutes for the gifted attached to 25 universities recently. This paper itemized the methods of screening through observations and recommendations. This paper also analyzed the problems with the methods and attempted to create plans for their improvement. The methods of selection through observations and recommendations led to the positive results that students' usual activities and attitudes in the classroom were reflected on the evaluation and that the cost of their private lessons was also reduced. However, the methods showed a few problems that need to be corrected. We point out problems occurring with examining their documents for submission and interviews. It was not easy to grade candidates' gifts, creativity, potential and development within the contents of the documents and the limited time of conducting interviews. On the plans for the developments of the implemented methods of selection through observations and recommendations, we have several suggestions. The chances for teachers' in-service training of learning the methods of selection through observations and recommendations need to be expanded. The interview needs to be enhanced and to have the same weight as the document screening. To secure the continuity of the education for the gifted, the clear guidelines from the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology along with the cooperation of the education institutes for the gifted are essential.

창의적 문제해결력 향상을 위한 정보 교육 프로그램 (An Informatics Education Program for Enhancing Creative Problem Solving Ability)

  • 지식 기반 사회에서 지식과 정보를 활용하여 문제를 해결하는 능력은 매우 중요하다. 또한 기존의 지식으로 해결할 수 없는 다양한 문제 상황이 증대되고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 정보의 체계적 수집 및 활용을 통한 창의적 아이디어 생성 및 이를 활용한 문제해결력 향상을 위한 정보 교육 프로그램을 개발하였다. 해당 프로그램은 발산적 사고와 수렴적 사고를 모두 다룰 수 있도록 조직하였으며, 문제 해결의 전체적인 경험을 제공하고 학습자 내부 지식 뿐 아니라 새로운 정보를 수집, 활용하여 문제를 해결하는 능력 향상에 초점을 두고 구성하였다. 또한 정보 활용 난이도에 따라 분리된 프로그램을 개발하였다.

우리나라 수학교육의 문제점 진단을 위한 조사 연구 (A Survey Research to Diagnose the Problems of Mathematics Education ID Korea)

  • The purpose of this study is to diagnose the problems of mathematics education in Korea by conducting an in-depth analysis of international comparative studies, a Delphi method, and a survey. Further analysis of TIMSS and PISA results also reveals several negative aspects of mathematics education practice in Korea. The mathematics education experts' opinions collected by Delphi method were classified into 12 categories: private education and test-driven education, curriculum and textbooks, lessons, evaluation, teacher, learner, teaching aid and facilities. affective aspects of mathematics, discrepancy between a theory and a practice, preservice/inservice teacher education and teacher employment test, education policy, and overall. Another survey was conducted to focus more on the development of curriculum which is a pending issue. Considering the fact that mathematics education should contribute to improve practical aspect as well as elaborate theoretical aspect, this study lays a foundation of improvement of mathematics education in Korea.

Measuring Performance to Engage the Extended Project Team in Construction

  • In construction, stakeholders of extended project team play a key role in the overall project performance. Successful integration of stakeholders demands for good management practices at strategic, operational and project levels. Targets and measures to improve the stakeholder performance encourage the creativity and willingness of stakeholders of extended project team to develop the better ways to achieve the project objectives. This paper presents a generic descriptive method, showing how stakeholder's ability and influence impacts on project performance in the construction sector. The findings of a series of interviews with key informants are presented and the following main conclusion is drawn: improving project performance through stakeholder's contribution and measuring their performance can strengthen the project performance. This innovative approach which redefines the process of improving the project performance in construction projects will be of interest to those who intend to manage the projects in practice as well as to those who interested in advancing theory.

학습자 중심 수업이 영어 학업 성취도와 자기 주도적 학습태도에 미치는 효과 (The effect of the student-centered instruction on English achievement and self-directed learning attitudes)

  • The purpose of this study is to verify the effect of the method of English teaching and learning through the student-centered environmental instruction. I've been skeptical about the traditional instruction, which is composed of the teachers-centered instruction, because of the lack of creativity. Until now, I've always wished to have an alternative method that can be substituted for routine's style. To achieve it, I selected 90 students from 2 classes, in the 3rd year at a girls' high school in Chungnam as the subject of study. I divided them into two groups, the student-centered environmental instruction and the teacher-centered traditional instruction. The tools used in this study are a preliminary English achievement test, a self-directed learning attitudes test and two teaching plans. For this test, a high school text book was assigned. I have treated 20 times of the test each for two groups using two types of teaching-learning plans which I made for this purpose. To verify the hypotheses after administrating the test, I selected t-verification for post test result. Based on this test result, I could conclude that there was a significant improvement of English proficiency and a change in the self-directed learning attitudes; also the student-centered environmental instruction is more effective than teachers-centered instruction.

국방무기체계 획득절차 발전방향 - 미국 국방획득절차 개선노력을 중심으로 - (A Study for Defense Acquisition System Improvement)

  • During the 'Cold War', DoD had focused on the high performance and timely acquisition which enabled quick field out the superior weapons than the enemy regardless of acquisition cost. But, after the cold war, the focus has been changed to the 'cost effective acquisition' of weapon systems because of tremendous investment cost & economic theory. The U.S. DoD has been tried to make 'the most effective acquisition system'(AR, Acquisition Reform) from mid-80's with their enough experienced program data, and as a result, they had launched the new acquisition procedure - DoD 5000 series - in 1996. DoD is continuously doing the study and making several improvements on the procedure after it had been once announced. On Oct 30. 2002, DoD noticed that they cancelled the DoD 5000 series documents(5000.1, 5000.2, 5000.2-R) and 5000.2-R will be reissued as a guide. The most recent version which focused on 1) evolutionary acquisition and spiral development, 2) procedure for future technology systems including software and IT, 3) supplement on the area of efficiency, flexibility, creativity and innovation of old system was issued by May 12. 2003. This article suggests a 'good idea' based on the reviewing of these DoD efforts for our defense acquisition regulation and procedure to go. It includes the CAIV concept application, IPT utilization, T&E method, cost or price based contract etc-all for the effective acquisition.
