직무특성과 임파워먼트가 창의성에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on Mediator Effect of Empowerment on Job Characteristics and Creativity)

  • The purpose of this study is to verify the mediating effect of empowerment on the relation between job characteristics and creativity. This study also examines the relationship job characteristics and creativity. As a result of this study, job characteristics had positive influence on empowerment. Empowerment had positive influence on creativity. Also job characteristics had positive effect on creativity at first, but it did not have a direct effect on creativity when empowerment was considered. These mean that empowerment is complete mediation variable because job characteristics no longer affects creativity after empowerment has been considered. Several implications, limitations and directions for future research were discussed.

  • The purpose of this study is to verify not only the impact of servant leadership affecting creativity but the mediating effect of empowerment. Creativity refers to the production of novel and useful ideas by an individual or by a group of individuals working together [2]. A survey was conducted by 301 employees. This study used the structure equation model which treated the servant leadership as independent variable and creativity as criterion variables. Empowerment was supposed as mediating variable of these relationships. As a result of this study, servant leadership had positive influence on empowerment. Empowerment had positive influence on creativity. Also servant leadership had positive effect on creativity at first, but it did not have a direct effect on creativity when empowerment was considered. These mean that empowerment is complete mediation variable because servant leadership no longer affects creativity after empowerment has been considered. Several implications, limitations and directions for future research were discussed.

공공연구조직의 창의성 수준과 연구성과 간 관계 (Relationship between Creativity and Performance in Government-funded Research Institute)

  • The objective of this study is to empirically examine the relationship between creativity and performance in 10 government- funded research institutes of industrial science and technology. In order to analyze the relationship, the institutes are categorized into the high performance group and the low performance group based on research paper and patents The study uses discriminant analysis to identify the factors causing the difference between the two groups. The results show that there is no significant difference of individual creativity between the two groups whereas there is significant difference of group creativity and organization creativity. The study suggests that performance of government-funded research institutes depends on group and organizational creativity.

  • 기술개발 프로젝트에서 성과를 높이기 위해서는 창의성이 필요하며, 창의성을 높이기 위해서는 업무지시에 대한 명확한 이해력이 필요하다. 본 연구는 팀효능감과 지식공유가 커뮤니케이션 역량에 미치는 영향과, 커뮤니케이션 역량이 개인창의성 및 제품개발성과에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 분석하였다. 본 연구의 목적은 기술개발 프로젝트에서 커뮤니케이션 역량과 개인창의성의 중요성을 검증하고, 커뮤니케이션 역량에 대한 향상 방안을 제언하기 위함이다. 기술 개발 참여자들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 요인간의 관계를 구조방정식 모형으로 확인하였다. 가설검증 결과, 팀효능감과 지식공유가 커뮤니케이션 역량에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤고, 팀리더의 확실한 업무지시 전달과 실무자의 명확한 업무지시 이해가 개인창의성에 주요한 요인임을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구결과는 첨단기술이 융복합되는 기술개발 프로젝트에서, 개인창의성 향상에 필요한 참여자의 커뮤니케이션 역량을 제고하는데 기여할 수 있을 것이다. 향후에는 조직 수준의 창의성에 대한 커뮤니케이션 역량의 효과에 대해 연구하고자 한다.

  • 최근 급속한 기술 환경의 변화와 글로벌 경쟁 하에서 조직의 핵심역량으로 창의성에 대한 관심이 증가하고 있다. 특히 창의성은 기술혁신의 시작이며 성공으로 이끄는 가장 중요한 동인이다. 복잡한 창의성이 도출되기 위해서는 창의성에 대한 체계적인 이해가 필요하다. 그러나 기존연구는 창의성에 대한 한두 가지 요인들의 관련성만 다루고 있어 전체적인 관련성을 파악하기가 힘들었으며 창의성을 측정할 수 있는 객관적인 도구도 부족한 설정이다. 따라서 본 연구는 창의성을 각 수준에서 분석하고 이를 통합적으로 측정할 수 있는 요소를 규명한다. 구체적으로 첫째, 창의성을 구성하는 3가지 수준을 제시한다. 둘째, 각 수준별 창의성에 영향을 미치는 요인을 규명하고, 이를 측정할 수 있는 지표를 개발한다. 본 연구에서 제시된 조직의 창의성 수준 평가모델은 현재 수준에서 조직의 창의적 역량과 잠재력을 평가하고 이를 증진시키기 위한 가이드라인을 제공할 수 있다.

Ability and Creativity : Their Role in Science and Technology

  • In addition to exceptional abilities and domain-specific aptitudes, frequently creativity potentials are used to explain high achievements in science and technology. In the Guilford tradition, research focuses increasingly on convergent versus divergent thinking, that is, a suspected dichotomy between intelligence and creativity. Despite important insights from this about relationship of ability and creativity, a number of important questions remain unanswered. These relate not only to conceptualization and measurement problems regarding the hypothetical constructs "scientific ability" and "creativity", but also their diagnosis and nurturance in childhood and adolescence. It would appear that, in view of current research paradigms, the role of ability and creativity needs to be redefinded in order to more reliably predict and explain excellent achievements in science and technology. Advances are mostly expected from synthetic approaches. Thus, I will be presenting new theoretical models and empirical research results. Finally, consequences for the prediction and promotion of mathematical-scientific and technical talents will be discussed including the consideration of sex-related problems.

A Study on the Research of Big Five Personality Factors Affecting Creativity - The Case of K Institute -

  • In this study, five personality types of employees have any impact on their creativity, a systematic and comprehensive study of literary research and demonstration studies were parallel. Results of the research employee of the extroversion, agreeableness of their creativity (+) showed the impact. In addition, sincerity, openness to experience, personality and creativity of employee creativity (+) for influencing said. Neuroticism to creativity, but nature does not affect any found. This study, five personality types that affect employee creativity of individuals by examining the relationship between personality type and creativity by presenting a model for the study, employees' personality types can have on creativity and offers a realistic alternative to the theory presented you can find the meaning in that. These theoretical and empirical validation of the results of employee productivity oriented organizations, including human resource management in a systematic and reasonable for the type of personality tests are being conducted on the administrative feasibility is expected to be able to provide. Finally, based on the results of these studies, management and administrative implications and future research directions presented.

Comparison of University Students' Creativity by Grade: Focusing on Korea and China

  • The 21st century is an era of knowledge innovation. Under the era background of knowledge explosion and information explosion, the competition among countries is ultimately talent competition. High-end talents are the core element of national competitiveness. Today, with the rapid development of science and technology and knowledge changing with each passing day, the cultivation of students' creativity is the requirement of social development and national progress. This paper makes a comparison between the creativity of business school students in China and Korea with questionnaire survey. Empirical study and comparative study with university students by grade in China and Korea are performed. The test results indicates that there are differences between Korean and Chinese students. Also, university students' creativity are different by grade. This study finds internal reasons for creativity differences and puts forward counter measures and methods for improving students'creativity.

A Study on the Development of Learning Model for Improving Collaborative Creativity Based on CPS

  • As the educational paradigm has shifted from the traditional knowledge oriented instruction learning to the knowledge product oriented instructional learning, the development of student's creativity becomes one of the most important educational goals, because the ability that can produce the knowledge creatively is required in the digital information knowledge based society. The purpose of this study is to make a basic direction and strategy for the instructional design to develop an on and off line blended instructional design which will help a learning community to be a more collaborative and creative learning community. This research has investigated the concept and the characteristics of collaborative creativity and creative problem solving as the theoretical basis of the design. After that, on the basis of the theories connected with the collaborative creativity theory, the direction and the strategies for the development of collaborative creativity was designed. The design was applied into the real learning community and finally proved the effectiveness of the learning model for the development of the collaborative creativity by the quantitative evaluation.

  • This study examines three factors - personal, academic features and governmental research environment - that influences the research of creative scientists based on a Systems Model of Creativity and tries to deprive policy implications. First, this study investigates the characteristics of creative scientists' research through a literature review. Next, it analyzes the features of academic characteristics, and creative research environments by the interviews of nine creative scientists in Korea. Lastly, it draws its implications and analyzes the limitations of this research.
