In today's rapidly changing environment, companies need to have proper strategies in place to meet the challenges that constant change presents. Being flexible, responding and adapting to changes can be valuable. However, they are essentially passive ways of dealing with situations. Creating new values and innovation are more active and effective strategies fora constantly changing environment. As such, most companies in e-business should focus on developing creativity across the board. Employees' creativity has become a critical factor in e-business. This paper explains how to increase workers' creativity through authentic leadership and psychological empowerment. As it is not machines or computers, but people, that are ultimately still responsible for creating novel outcomes, this study emphasizes the overriding importance of members' ability and leader's roles, which greatly influence followers' levels of motivation. Authentic leadership encourages members to reach and display their potential, and enhances their intrinsic motivation. Moreover, members' psychological empowerment is directly associated with both intrinsic motivation and autonomy, preconditions for creativity. Hence, these two dimensions- leadership and an individual's psychological state- will increase workers' creativity, which works to increase performance and create more opportunities not only at the individual level, but also at the team or organization level. The purpose of this paper is to explain the effects of authentic leadership on creativity and the moderating effects of psychological empowerment between authentic leadership and creativity in the e-business environment.
Art education in design has repeatedly stressed the importance of developing creativity. In the digital period, however, which shows rapid change in both forms and contents, it needs to be equipped with more flexible and systematic ways of approaching to the creativity development, especially involved with cultural diversity of the digital world. This paper primarily proposes a maximally efficient, productive creativity learning program in which the integration of expressive media and communication generates a comprehensive network of communicative information in the development of digital technologies, which, consequently, brings forth valuable cultural contents of art. The amalgamation of Won (2006)'s Prism Effect, with distinctive three devices, and the facilitator factors, with two different facilitators such as self-controlled and controlled plays, would function as a catalyst for cultural diversity in the digital forms and contents of art. And this will, consequently, result in producing a number of practices that can be classified and assorted for a later performance. This paper thus suggests a roadmap of how to develop the creativity learning program in which two categories of facilitators based on three thinking devices function to classify four activities. In addition, selected activities are shaped as a creativity learning program by generating learning practices with the formalizing instructional strategy that fit into a specialized educational environment and learners. The samples of loaming practice design show guidelines for practice and the results of learning activity. Therefore, the eventual goal of this paper would be to establish a creativity learning program that constitutes a highly systematized and modularized database to maximize the efficiency and productivity of the creativity development.
The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of father's characteristics on the creativity of gifted preschoolers and nongifted preschoolers. Father's personality, creative personality and parenting self-efficacy were included in father's characteristics. The study subjects were 96 gifted and 180 non-gifted preschoolers and their fathers. Instruments were the Torrance Test of Creative Thinking(Torrance, 1984: Kim et al., 2002), Revised NEO-Personality Inventory(Costa & MaCrae, 1992), What Kind of Person Are You Scale of the Khatena-Torrance Creative Perception Inventory(Khatena & Torrance, 1976: Kim et al., 2004), and Parenting Efficacy Scale(Choe et al., 2001). The results showed that extroversion, healthy ability and disciplined ability of the gifted preschoolers' fathers influenced the children's fluency of creativity, while the disciplined imagination of gifted preschoolers' fathers influenced children's elaborateness of creativity. Regarding non-gifted children, the intimacy of the non-gifted preschoolers' fathers influenced the children's fluency of creativity, the general parenting ability of non-gifted preschoolers' fathers influenced children's abstractness of titles of creativity, the general parenting ability of non-gifted preschoolers' fathers the influenced children's elaborateness of creativity, and general parenting ability and learning guidance ability of non-gifted preschoolers' fathers influenced the children's resistance to premature closure of creativity.
The purposes of this study were to design small group collaborative learning models for developing the creativity and to analyze the effects on applying the models in mathematics teaching and loaming. The meaning of open education in mathematics learning, the relation of creativity and inquiry learning, the relation of small group collaborative learning and creativity, and the relation of assessment and creativity were reviewed. And to investigate the relation small group collaborative learning and creativity, we developed three types of small group collaborative learning model- inquiry model, situation model, tradition model, and then conducted in elementary school and middle school. As a conclusion, this study suggested; (1) Small group collaborative learning can be conducted when the teacher understands the small group collaborative learning practice in the mathematics classroom and have desirable belief about mathematics instruction. (2) Students' mathematical anxiety can be reduced and students' involvement in mathematics learning can be facilitated, when mathematical tasks are provided through inquiry model and situation model. (3) Students' mathematical creativity can be enhanced when the teacher make classroom culture that students' thinking is valued and teacher's authority is reduced. (4) To develop students' mathematical creativity, the interaction between students in small group should be encouraged, and assessment of creativity development should be conduced systematically and continuously.

A new business venture faces intense competition in a dynamic environment. To survive, new business ventures and established companies both need to generate creativity and significant new ventures to be highly competitive and have high levels of performance. In this study, we examined new business ventures that determined their competitiveness and performance generated from entrepreneurial creativity and mediated by ambidextrous innovation. This research used survey data collected from 143 Indonesian's new business shipping agencies, which was collected using an online survey and analyzed through structural equation modeling. The results showed that entrepreneurial creativity in new business ventures is positively associated with competitive advantage but not significant to create a competitive advantage. In contrast, entrepreneurial creativity is positively associated with firm performance. This result indicates that efforts to generate entrepreneurial creativity are not sufficient to create a competitive advantage despite having a significant influence on firm performance. However, entrepreneurial creativity is significantly and positively associated with firm performance and competitive advantage when mediated by ambidextrous innovation. The findings of this study suggest that the competitive advantage of a new business venture in facing intense competition in a dynamic environment condition can be overcome by generating strategic action in the form of entrepreneurial creativity and ambidextrous innovation.
The goal of this study was to examine the relationship between general creativity and musical creativity of children, and utilize the results as the basic data to develope of children' music education. The subjects were 50 children of a kindergarten located in the Jeonlabukdo area. The instruments employed were general creativity and musical creativity scales. The data were analyzed with the SPSS program. They were analyzed by Pearson Correlation. The results of this study are as follows: First, creativity was correlated positively with 'making of the melody'. Second, fluency was correlated positively with 'making of the melody', abstraction of title was correlated positively with 'making of the song words', and elaboration was correlated positively with making of the melody and expression by rhythmic movement.

This study was designed to investigate whether applying mind mapping in a biology class had an effect on students' creativity. Participants of this study were 165 1st grade middle school students. The pretest-post test control group design was employed. A control group was instructed with a traditional method and an exerimental group was instructed using the mind-map applied method. The units "Digestion and Circulation" and "Respiration and Excretion" were selected for this study, and each group was treated for 24 class hours. To measure student creativity, the TTCT test was used. For assessing students' level of logical thinking, the compact version of GALT was used. Test results were analyzed by ANCOVA and correlation analysis by SPSS 12.0. The creativity of students in experimental group was significantly improved than the control group (p< .01). Fluency, flexibility, and originality of students in experimental group were improved (p< .01). Students did not show any differences on creativity according to their academic achievement level or gender (p> .05) in the experimental group. Students did not show any differences on creativity according to their logical thinking level (p> .05), either. However, the students of logical thinking level in the experimental group improved their flexibility (p< .05). There was no correlation between students' creativity and their achievement (p> .05), but the creativity shows a lower correlation to performance evaluation (p< .05).

The purpose of this study is to verify not only the impact of servant leadership affecting creativity but the mediating effect of empowerment. Creativity refers to the production of novel and useful ideas by an individual or by a group of individuals working together [2]. A survey was conducted by 301 employees. This study used the structure equation model which treated the servant leadership as independent variable and creativity as criterion variables. Empowerment was supposed as mediating variable of these relationships. As a result of this study, servant leadership had positive influence on empowerment. Empowerment had positive influence on creativity. Also servant leadership had positive effect on creativity at first, but it did not have a direct effect on creativity when empowerment was considered. These mean that empowerment is complete mediation variable because servant leadership no longer affects creativity after empowerment has been considered. Several implications, limitations and directions for future research were discussed.

Creativity is crucial in an ever-changing e-business environment. The creation of new value is essential for companies to gain the competitive edge and to pioneer new markets in e-business. Hence, many companies in e-business operate virtual teams as they are suitable to generate creativity. Even so, virtual teams possess the inherent weakness of a lack of cohesiveness. Hence, for a virtual team to be creative, team members should help each other and share information. This study emphasizes the importance of information sharing that is supposed to improve creativity and explains how to increase them for virtual teams. To explain these relationships, three dimensions are routinely examined in organizational behavior studies: leaders, teams, and members. As a consequence, and through empirical analysis, authentic leadership, sharing team climate, and psychological empowerment enhances information sharing and creativity through their respective roles, in addition to information sharing directly increasing creativity. To improve creativity and information sharing of virtual team members in e-business, this article has highlighted the importance of the three roles stated prior. Such factors can increase information sharing and creativity, and will help virtual teams and organizations to be more successful in e-business.

The study aims to investigate the nexus of between role identity, self-efficacy, feeling of energy, and employee creativity in the hotel industry of Korea. The employees' innovative behaviors like creativity have been many researchers' interest for decades in the hotel industry. The hypotheses depicting the relationship among the variables have been proposed based on a review of existing literature. The number of 215 cases was used for final analysis and the results were explained through structural equation modeling. The results indicate the hotel employees' role identity and creative self-efficacy positively influenced their feeling of energy. Further, both role identity and creative self-efficacy make significant impact on employee creativity. Feeling of energy also makes a positively significant impact on employee creativity. Feeling of energy partially mediates the relationship between the two independent variables and employee creativity. As a result, creative role identity, self-efficacy, and feeling of energy explain the variance of the hotel employees' creativity. The results present that hotel practitioners need to regard their employees' creative roles and build organizational culture to support creative activities so as to enhance employee creativity. Finally, theoretical and practical implications for the hotel industry and future studies have been discussed.
