공과대학생의 창의공학설계능력 교육요구도 분석 (An Analysis on Educational Needs of Creative Engineering Design Ability of Engineering Students)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop and implement engineering education program by drawing out the educational needs creative engineering design ability. The importance and current level of creative engineering ability were surveyed and analyzed by using 29 sub - factors of creative engineering design ability presented by Kim Dae young et al(2006). from 234 engineering students in 6 universities. As a result, students recognized that all items of creative engineering design ability were important, and their level was generally recognized. The educational needs for creative ability and creative problem solving ability was high and the educational needs for creative engineering design project was relatively low. Based on these results, it is necessary to develop an educational program to enhance creative engineering design ability by considering learner's perception and professional and industrial recognition.

유아의 학습준비도에 대한 창의적 특성과 성격 및 사회인구학적 변인 (Young Children's Creative Traits, Personality, and Demographic Variables to Their Learning Readiness)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships between the young children's creative trait and personality affecting their learning readiness. The participants were 131 young children in kindergartens or nursery schools and their mothers from Seoul, Gyeonggi and Chungnam province. The instruments were the Korea Learning Readiness Test, Young Children's Creative Traits Test, and Young Children's Personality Test. The data were analyzed by one-way ANOVA, t-test, Pearson's partial correlation, stepwise multiple regression, and Scheff$\'{e}$ test by SPSS PC(version17.0) program. The results were as follows. Firstly, there were no significant differences in young children's learning readiness, creative trait and personality by children's age, location, school type, father's age, mother's educational level and mother's job type, while there were significant differences in the creative trait and the subfactor scores of personality by children's sex, father's educational level and parents' job type. Secondly, there was a positive partial correlation(r = .20~.24) between young children's learning readiness and creative trait, while there were no correlations between their learning readiness and personality and between their personality and creative trait. Thirdly, cognitive factor of creative trait and father's educational level did not effectively explain the children's learning readiness.

Enhancing the Creative Problem Solving Skill by Using the CPS Learning Model for Seventh Grade Students with Different Prior Knowledge Levels

  • This study aimed to enhance creative problem solving skill by using the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) learning model which was developed based on creative problem solving approach and five essential features of inquiry. The key strategy of the CPS learning model is using real life problem situations to provide students opportunities to practice creative problem solving skill through 5 learning steps: engaging, problem exploring, solutions creating, plan executing, and concepts examining. The science content used for examining the CPS learning model was "matter and properties of matter" that consists of 3 learning units: Matter, Solution, and Acid-Base Solution. The process to assess the effectiveness of the learning model used the experimental design of the Pretest-Posttest Control-Group Design. Seventh grade-students in the experimental group learned by the CPS learning model. At the same time, students at the same grade level in the control group learned by conventional learning model. The learning models and students' prior knowledge levels were served as the independent variables. The creative problem solving skill was classified in to 4 aspects in: fluency, flexibility, originality, and reasoning. The results indicated that in all aspects, the students' mean scores of creative problem solving between students in experimental group and control group were significantly different at the .05 level. Also, the progression of students' creative problem solving skills was found highly progressed at the later instructional periods. When comparing the creative problem solving scores between groups of students with different levels of prior knowledge, the differences of their creative problem solving scores were founded at .05 level. The findings of this study confirmed that the CPS learning model is effective in enhancing the students' creative problem solving skill.

보육시설의 물리적 환경 및 교사의 창의적 역할수행과 유아 창의성간의 관계 (Relationships among Physical Environment of Childcare Centers, Teachers' Creative Teaching Approaches, and Young Children's Creativity Level)

  • 본 연구는 보육시설의 물리적인 환경 및 교사의 창의적인 역할수행과 유아창의성간의 관계에 대해 알아보고자 하였다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해, 유아 182명을 대상으로 Torrance(1981)가 개발한 창의적 사고 검사인 TCAM(Thinking Creativity in Action and Movement)을 실시하여 창의성을 측정하였다. 또한 해당 어린이집 담임교사 28명을 대상으로 보육시설의 물리적 환경 및 교사의 창의적 역할수행에 관한 질문지 조사를 실시하였다. 그에 따른 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 유아의 성별에 따른 유아의 창의성은 유의미한 차이가 없었으나, 유아의 연령에 따른 유아의 창의성은 창의성의 하위영역인 상상력에서 연령이 증가함에 따라 상상력이 유의미하게 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 물리적 환경의 질적 수준이 높을수록 유아의 창의성이 유의미하게 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 교사가 창의적인 역할을 유아에게 적극적으로 수행할수록 유아의 창의성은 유의미하게 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 보육시설의 물리적 환경 및 교사의 창의적 역할수행은 유아의 창의성과 유의미한 정적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 보육시설의 물리적 환경 및 교사의 창의적 역할수행은 유아의 창의성에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 보육시설의 물리적 환경의 질적 수준이 높고, 교사가 유아에게 창의적인 역할을 수행하기 위해 노력할수록 유아의 창의성이 더욱 성장하고 발달할 수 있음을 알 수 있다.

문화산업에서 창조인력, R&D 기술수준 및 관용성의 역동적인 관계성 (Dynamic Relationship in Creative Manpower, R&D Technology Level, and Tolerance in the Culture Industry)

  • Based on various employment and technology data in the cultural sector from the mid-1990s to the mid-2000s in Seoul, Korea, this research examines whether technology- and human resource-oriented programs exert significant impact on creative manpower, R&D technology level and tolerance. After briefly introducing Seoul's trends in the culture industry, it tries to explain major reinforcing and balancing loops. The stock-flow diagram of the culture industry in Seoul is applied to estimate relative effectiveness of technology- and human resource-oriented cultural programs cultural programs. Judging from a series of simulated experiments, technology-oriented cultural programs are essential to increase creative manpower and R&D technology level in the short term. For the first half of research period, this research finds that human resource-oriented cultural programs put forth minimal impact, if they even exist at all. The trends, however, are reversed in the long term: Both size of creative manpower and R&D technology level absolutely depend on human resource-oriented cultural programs in the second half.

  • Companies need to secure strong methods of new product development in a rapidly changing competitive environment. They overly focusing on the perception of consumers can not lead radical changes. They need to generate sufficient creative ideas in the early stages of new product development to make radical change. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of a creative method on the generation of creative ideas. An enhanced creativity method was designed considering existing methodology and cognitive elements. This study specifically focused on team rather than individual level creativity. This arrangement reflects the fact that companies in practice rely on team unit in NPD process. The contribution of the study is two fold : enhancing existing methodology, and testing the effect of conceptual distance on making of creative ideas. The experimental results showed that appropriate conceptual distance help to make best creative output and that ABIS attribute is proved to be more effective than traditional association.

창조 일자리 분류체계 및 추세분석 (Classifying and Analyzing the Creative Employment in Korea)

  • The objective of this study is developing a classification scheme of the creative employment and analyzing trends of the creative employment in Korea. Many countries have pursued the creative economy to generate new jobs and tried to estimate the creative employment as a way to measure the creative economy. However, the definition of the creative employment is still ambiguous partly because it depends on the characteristics of diverse industries and the direction of economic policies that each country has. Therefore, we propose a classification scheme of the creative employment, which reflects the creative economy in Korea. Then, we examine how the creative employment changes in Korea. Our results show that the jobs requiring the highest level of creative skills increase stably and steadily over the years.

  • 본 연구는 창의 노동자들의 업무에 대한 내재적 동기가 어떤 내용으로 구성되어 있으며, 창의적 생산과정에서 어떠한 역할을 하고 있는지에 대해 사례를 통해 분석하였다. 16명의 예능 방송 PD들을 대상으로 반구조적 심층 인터뷰를 진행하였으며, 연구 결과 창의 노동자들의 일에 대한 내재적 동기는 일을 통해 '재미'를 추구하고자 하는 욕구로 해석되었다. 이는 외부적 시각을 바탕으로 한 재미와 창의적 생산자로서 경험하는 재미의 두 가지로 분류되었다. 이어서 창의 노동자들의 내재적 동기는 창의적 업무 과정에서 맞닥뜨리는 여러 충돌과 갈등(시청률, 경제적 안정성, 일-삶의 균형)에 맞서 해당 직업을 유지하기 위한 강한 원동력 역할을 하는 것으로 관찰되었다. 이는 창의 노동자들이 창의 노동 과정에 산재해있는 자기 착취적 요소들까지도 자발적으로 감내하도록 이끄는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 연구 결과는 이상적이지 않은 창의 노동 조건과 환경을 받아들이고 창의 노동을 지속하고자 하는 창의 노동자들의 특수한 경향에는 일에 대한 강한 내재적 동기가 기초되어 있음을 시사한다.

과학 영재 아동과 일반 아동의 창의적 과학 문제 해결 과정에 대한 사례 연구 (A Case Study on the Scientifically-Gifted Students' and Average Student's Creative Science Problem Solving Processes and Skills)

  • The purposes of this study were to investigate the creative science problem solving (CSPS) process amongst scientifically-gifted students and average students through the qualitative think-aloud research method, and to compare the differences in their CSP, scientific knowledge, scientific process skills, creative thinking, and finally, the affective domain used in their CSPS. For the purposes of this study, two scientifically-gifted 6th grade students and one average student were selected. The results show that one gifted student with good creative thinking skills exhibited better performance in CSPS than the other gifted student, who had the highest level of scientific knowledge. In the case of the average student, in spite of her high level of factual knowledge, she had difficulty in proceeding in CSPS due to her shallow scientific knowledge along with her low level of understanding of the given problem. This study highlights the importance of considering the factors which influence successful CSPS and which can play an important role in the education of scientifically-gifted children. These factors were identified as scientific knowledge, understanding of the scientific process, creative thinking, the affective domain, and science problem solving skills.

  • The purpose of this study was to test the effects of Practical Problem-Based Home Economics Instruction (PPBHEI) on middle school students' creativity, focusing on the content on "clothing management and recycling." This study carried out quasi-experimental research with an independent variable of PPBHEI and a dependent variable of creativity. The experiment was based on a sample of 62 (31 in each group) second grade students in the Cheongju area over four class hours. ANCOVA was performed to examine pre-test and post-test differences between the experimental group and the control group. The results showed that PPBHEI did not improve the level of creativity but improved the level of creative motivation among the sub-elements of creativity (creative thinking, creative tendency, creative motivation). In particular, PPBHEI improved the level of independence in creative tendency, intrinsic motivation, and diligence in creative motivation. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that PPBHEI is effective in improving independence, intrinsic motivation, and diligence in respect of middle school students'creativity.
