문화권에 따라 상담자의 역할은 달라질 필요가 있다. 서구의 수평적인 개인주의 사회에서는 내담자의 자율성을 강조하는 편이지만, 동양권에 속하는 수직적 권위사회인 우리나라에서는 내담자의 사회성을 중요하게 여기기 때문이다. 뿐만 아니라 한국사회에서는 상담자가 치료자 역할 이외에 교육자 내지는 양육자로서 기능하기를 기대하는 편이다. 한국적 상담 모형으로 제기된 현실역동 상담에서는 '상담의 현재화'와 '상담자의 어른역할'을 양대 기본 골격으로 꼽고 있는데, 본 연구에서는 '상담자의 어른역할'이 실제 상담 사례에서 어떠한 상담성과를 이루는가 하는 것을 '이야기 방식'의 형태로 보여주고 있다. '이야기 방식'은 질적 연구의 한 방안으로서 내용을 축약할 수 있는 간결성과 진행에 대한 해설로 인해 상담 사례를 연구할 때 원자료를 제시하는 축어록 방식보다는 유용하다고 본다. 상담자가 어른으로서 역할을 하는 과정에는 한국적 상담모형으로 제안된 현실역동 상담의 특성들인 문제의 실체파악, 심정 헤아리기, 외부현실 강조, 역할 중시. 직면 활용하기, 부모-자녀관계 강조, 사회성 촉진 등이 반영되어 나타나고 있다.

This study aimed to examine how emotional experience, counselor activity self-efficacy, and job stress affect counselors' burnout. Participants comprising 321 counselors intotal were surveyed on burnout, emotional experience, counselor activity self-efficacy, and job stress. The collected data were analyzed through Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, Pearson's correlation, and stepwise multiple regression. The findings were as follows: 1) Emotional clarity, session management self-efficacy, the job stress of the working environment, counseling challenges self-efficacy and job stress related to interpersonal relationship were significant predictors of counselors' burnout. 2) Counselor activity self-efficacy partly played a mediating role between emotional experience and burnout.

Recently school counselors have begun to be employed to school and the office of local school districts. Now it is our challenging task to firmly establish school counseling system. The purpose of this study was to review the current status of school counseling in Korea and to suggest future directions of school counseling. For this purpose, characteristics of school counseling and school counselor's role were first reviewed. In lights of these criteria, several areas which need to be improved were identified. Authors suggest the four future directions of school counseling : introduction of school psychology-based service, establishment of comprehensive school counseling program, improvement of professional ability according to school counselor's role, establishment of support system.

Using an instrument validated in an antecedent study, this study explored the effect of counseling and working environment variables on burnout in child counselors. The 191 counselors of this study worked with children under 18 years of age. Data were analyzed by Cronbach's a, quantification methods I. Counseling and working environment variables have 33% of ad-$R^2$ over the total score of burnout in child counselors. Variables contributing to burnout were workload, position in an institution, income from counseling, theoretical approach, and job stress. Counselors with 1-5 cases per week, working independent of an institution and using a single theory of counseling experienced more burnout, and counselors without challenge on the job, excessive role conflict, role ambiguousness, and excessive workload experienced more burnout.

본 연구는 이직의도 철회 경험이 있는 상담원이 이직의도 철회시 어떠한 요인들이 중요한 역할을 했는지 알아보기 위해 모 통신사 고객센터 상담원을 대상으로 3개월에 걸쳐 인터뷰 설문조사 연구를 실시하였다. 연구결과 업무이동, 동기부여, 자기효능감, 정서조절이 상담원 이직의도 철회에 주요 영향 요인으로 나타났으며, 상사지원, 동료지원은 이직 의도 철회에 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 그중, 정서조절과 업무이동은 이직의도 철회에 있어 다른 요인보다 많은 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 기업에서 중요성이 점점 커지고 있는 고객센터 부서의 상담원 이직률을 낮춰 조직의 안정화를 극대화하고, 또한 고객센터 상담원의 이직의도 철회에 관련된 연구에 이론적 기반을 제공할 수 있을 것으로 생각된다.

본 연구는 하인즈 코헛의 자기(Self)이론을 기반으로, 자기대상(Selfobject) 기능을 상실한 내담자의 치료적 활성화를 위해 상담자의 전이대상 역할을 기술하였다. 본 연구에서 인간은 평생을 통해서 자기대상이 필요함을 확인하는 계기가 되었다고 할 수 있다. 다음으로는 변형적 내재화 과정을 언급하면 유아는 자기대상을 통한 최적의 좌절로 인하여 부모의 한계를 체험하면서 환상의 세계에서 현실로 돌아오게 된다. 전이대상으로 상담자 역할은 내담자가 응집적 자기를 확립하여, 적절한 자기대상을 선용하도록 하여야 한다. 그리고 내담자의 과대주의와 과시주의를 공감하고 상담자는 이상화 대상이 되어서 내담자가 인정받고 동일시할 수 있는 기회를 주어야 한다. 상담자는 상담 과정에서 내담자에게 최적의 좌절을 제공할 수 있다. 이때 상담자는 자신의 실수를 인정할 때 내담자는 상담자를 현실적으로 바라보게 되고 건강한 자기를 구축하여 변형적 내면화를 이룩하게 된다. 상담을 통해서 내담자에게 응집적 자기가 형성되면 타인을 공감하고 건강한 인간관계를 형성할 수 있다. 그러면 자신의 감정을 통제할 수 있고 비전을 가지게 된다. 그리고 내담자는 삶을 살아가면서 일생동안 적절한 대상과 관계를 맺으면서 살아갈 수밖에 없다고 인식하게 된다.

This short review was aimed to provide the information for the people who are interested in genetic counselor education and certification system in Korea. A large part of this study is indebted to HJ Kim's articles on the genetic counselor system, the global standards of genetic counseling curriculums, training program accreditation (TPA), and a certification process for genetic counselors (CPGC) in the US and Japan. The US and Japanese educational systems showed a high degree of similarities in curriculum, accreditation, and certification programs. Based upon this review, we hereby propose that the Korean Society for Medical Genetics should take a key role in providing the TPA and CPGC for non-MD genetic counselors. Requirement for the entrance to a Master's degree genetic counseling program should be open to successful four year undergraduate students for all areas, provided the candidates demonstrate the abilities to master the graduate level study in human genetics, statistics, psychology, and other required subjects. Besides accredited program graduates, eligibility for certification should also include the qualified candidates of genetic counseling with no formally approved education, but with a sufficient amount of clinical experience.

연구는 교육전문가로서 초 중 고 일반교사 및 대학교수가 담당해야 할 상담자 역할의 중요성에 주목하여 최근 10년간 이루어진 국내 연구 동향을 분석하고, 향후 연구의 방향을 제시하기 위해 수행되었다. 이를 위해 분석대상 80편의 논문에 대해 연도, 연구주제, 연구방법에 따라 분석하였다. 그 결과, 첫째, 2006년부터 2015년까지 꾸준히 연구가 진행되어 왔으나 초등학교(60.9%)에 편중되어 있었고, 중학교(15.8%), 고등학교(15.8%), 대학에서의 일반교수 상담(7.5%)은 매우 부족하였다. 둘째, 7개 연구주제별로 보았을 때, 상담에 대한 요구와 실태를 살펴보는 조사연구(73.8%)가 대부분이었고, 주로 석사학위논문(76.3%)으로 진행된 연구였다. 셋째, 대부분의 연구가 양적연구(91.3%)이고, 질적연구는 매우 미흡함을 알 수 있었다. 끝으로, 이러한 결과에 대한 논의, 연구의 제한점, 향후 연구에 대해 제언하였다.

The purpose of this study is to identify the appropriateness and validity of the HIV/AIDS nurse counselor's job, and to propose the job description. Mixed method was used: nominal group interview was used as a qualitative research and a survey was used as a quantitative research. Three of the nominal group members evaluated the appropriateness of the duties and tasks. To identify the validity of the evaluated duties and tasks, importance, difficulty and frequency were surveyed by 14 nurses who were working at the hospital as a HIV/AIDS nurse counselors. For the HIV/AIDS nurse counselor, 7 duties and 35 tasks - infection control of the HIV/AIDS, counseling, client advocacy, development of the educational material, referral to the resources, referral services at the hospital, and self-improvement - were identified. Proposed job description will be used as a reference for the role position and the training curriculum of the HIV/AIDS nurse counselors who are working at the hospital.

본 연구는 위니캇의 이론을 중심으로 상담자의 중간대상 역할을 문헌연구를 통하여 제시하였다. 발달과정에서 유아가 어머니와 절대적 의존에서 상대적 의존으로 넘어갈 때 불안을 겪는데 이때 중간대상인 인형, 손 빨기 등이 유아의 불안을 감소시킨다. 이처럼 상담자의 중간 대상 역할은 상실 경험에 대한 분리불안과 우울 불안을 완충시켜주고, 전능 환상에서 현실 세계로 매개하여준다. 중간대상은 새로운 대상으로 현실에서 적응하도록 이바지 하는 기능을 가지고 있다. 그리고 중간대상과 중간현상을 통하여 분리 개별화 단계로 이어진다. 전능한 창조와 파괴, 그리고 현실에 적응하기 위해 존재하는 실제적인 타자에 대한 감각을 체득한다고 할 수 있다. 충분히 좋은 어머니는 유아의 전능성을 의미 있게 만들어 준다. 이러할 때 참자기는 유아의 약한 자아를 성장하게 하여 자신의 삶을 살도록 이끌어 준다. 어머니가 유아의 욕구를 채워주지 못할 경우 환상과 자발적 충동이 결핍된다. 즉, 어머니가 유아의 욕구를 반영해 주지 못할 때 유아가 어머니의 기분을 살피게 되어 참자기를 포기하고 거짓 자기를 만들게 된다. 절대적 의존기의 병리는 충분히 좋은 어머니의 공감과 안아주는 환경의 실패로 인해 발생한다. 이때 아이는 전능 환상의 붕괴를 경험하고 멸절 불안을 경험하게 된다. 그러므로 상담현장에서 상담자의 중간대상 역할을 통해서 내담자의 분리불안과 우울 불안을 감소시켜서 편안하고 안정된 환경을 제공할 때 효율적인 상담을 진행할 수 있다.
