  • Dressmaking which is defined as the process of changing two-dimensional cloth into three-dime-nsional clothes needs a lot of joining parts. Particularly sleeve needs a more curved surface than other joining parts owing to shape of the top of arms. Easing is used to control the fullness along the seam-line to create the fullness curved shape of the sleeves and it plays an important role in increasing three-dimensional constru-ction power. unfortunately sufficient data regarding effective easing conditions to increase three-dimensional construction power of sleeve are not available. Therefore the author tried to investigate the effective easing conditions to increase three-dimensional construction power of sleeve by cap height. Easing construction power of sleeve by cap height. Easing contraction made by different angles on the sleeve cap curve line previous work were examined and the effective easing conditions according to the variation of angles were determined. This study contains the following objectives. Firstly to obtain the easing contraction ratio in sleeve according to the above easing conditions. Secondly to investigate the three-dimensional construction power or sleeve by the factors of easing contraction. Thirdly to determine for each sleeve the effective easing conditions on the basis of the calcuative easing contraction ratio in the sleeve patterns by cap heights.

Adobe CS5 (Photoshop, Illustrator) and TexPro, a design CAD program, were used for textile design. Motives were combined in a various ways. Two-directional, four-directional, set, rotating, toss layout techniques, which are frequently used in apparel design and able to reduce cloth use, were used in developing patterns. Coloring methods including tone-in-tone and Faux camaieu were used to deliver coherence and soft effects. Developed textile design symbolizes the desire for the conception of a child, birth, and health, so it is made on baby clothes. Five Italian fashion brands are chosen and the textile pattern design of their brand extensions, which were presented during the eight collection. Then their design style is compared with the design style of their main brands. The five main brands and their brand extensions are as fellows: Anna Molinari-Blumarine, Dolce & Gabbana-D&G, Girogio Armani-Emporio Armani, Gian Franco Ferre'-GFF, and Prada-MiuMiu. Their color, motive type, motive layout, motive expression, and pattern drawing technique are examined and compared. Results suggest that most brand extensions generally use color, motive type motive layout. and motive expression similar to their main brands. In particular, their pattern drawing technique is a painting style white their main brands use a graphic style. This result suggests that to create and develop new brand extensions, Italian fashion (main brand) firms in general employ color, motive type, motive layout, and motive expression technique similar to main brands, but different drawing technique to differentiate from their main brands. The results of this study suggest that textile pattern design plays an important role in developing new brand extensions and thus should be considered as a crucial part of the product.

Total of 302 questionnaires were distributed for measuring the constructs using the online survey website (www.sojump.com). All the questionnaires were validated and tested for further statistical analysis through exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and later a confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) using SPSS 22.0 and AMOS 22.0 statistical systems. In addition, structural equation modeling technique (SEM) was applied for testing the hypotheses. Among all variables, consumer ethnocentrism plays the most negatively significant role, followed by animosity toward buying Korean products. Fortunately, there is a positive variable, cosmopolitanism, that can help mitigate the impact of this hostility, and more interesting results are described in detail in the current paper. This study has been added value between theory and practice exploring ethnocentrism and animosity effects, and more theoretical and managerial implications are discussed.

  • The purpose of this study was to develop the Functional golf inner-wear by preventing the injuries and enhancing the performance of the Golf swing by checking the influence of the wearing of the functional golf inner-wear considering golf characteristics on the Swing trajectory and Shot distance. Functional inner-wear effective for golf swing was manufactured using the sports taping method. Changes in driver and iron swing before and after wearing the functional golf inner-wear manufactured in this way were measured using trackman equipment. Measurement variables were limited to Club Speed, Attack Angle, Club Path, Ball Speed, Smash Factor, and Priority. Before and after wearing functional golf inner-wear, there were statistically significant differences in driver club speed, iron club speed, driver etch angle, iron club pass, driver ball speed, driver smash factor, iron smash factor, driver carry, iron carry, and right shoulder joint proprioceptive sensory ability. As a result, functional golf inner-wear is effective for ball speed, impact, and carry by increasing club speed and efficient swing. Future research will focus on the development of functional golf that can improve the swing ability in a short game that plays an important role in the golf game through various sports taping grafting technique, textile, special material, film, Research on functional golf inner-wear.
