  • 블록암호 알고리듬 ARIA와 AES 그리고 해시 함수 Whirlpool을 단일 하드웨어로 통합 구현한 AAW(ARIA- AES-Whirlpool) 크립토 코어를 Cortex-M0 CPU에 슬레이브로 인터페이스한 보안 SoC(System-on-Chip) 설계에 대해 기술한다. AAW 크립토 코어는 ARIA, AES, Whirlpool의 알고리듬 특성을 이용한 하드웨어 공유를 통해 저면적으로 구현되었으며, 128-비트와 256-비트의 키 길이를 지원한다. 설계된 보안 SoC 프로토타입을 FPGA 디바이스에 구현하고, 하드웨어-소프트웨어 통합 검증을 하였다. AAW 크립토 코어는 5,911 슬라이스로 구현이 되었으며, AAW 크립토 코어가 포함된 AHB_Slave는 6,366 슬라이스로 구현되었다. AHB_Slave의 최대 동작 주파수는 36 MHz로 예측되었으며, ARIA-128, AES-128의 데이터 처리율은 각각 83 Mbps, 78 Mbps이고, Whirlpool 해시 함수의 512-비트 블록의 처리율은 156 Mbps로 평가되었다.

상지(桑枝)와 상백피(桑白皮)의 항산화효과 비교 연구 (Comparative Study on Antioxidative Effects of Mori Ramulus and Mori Cortex)

  • In recent year, We are concerned about anti-aging, disease-prevention, longevity, so many methods are used in solving this problem. And Those are related with antioxidative ability. Recently, We heard that Mori Cortex was known to reduce the hypertension and was helpful in promoting health, and Mori Ramulus was effective against obesity, etc. So, This study was performed to investigate the antioxidative effect of hot-water extracts of Mori Cortex and Mori Ramulus used for 3 methods, those are DPPH radical scavenging activity, Nitric oxide(NO) radical scavenging activity and Bovine serum albumin(BSA). And we compared Mori Cortex and Mori Ramulus on Antioxidative Effects. The results of this study were as follows: We measured levels of DPPH radical scavenging activity and Nitric oxide(NO) radical scavenging activity. And we obtained results that Mori Ramulus was most effective with the concentration of 5 $mg/m{\ell}$, and Mori Cortex was most effective with the concentration of 2.5 $mg/m{\ell}$, And we examined the antioxidative effects of Mori Ramulus and Mori Cortex with $CU^{2+}/H_20_2$-induced Bovine serum albumin(BSA). And we obtained that antioxidative ability was increased after 1.25 $mg/m{\ell}$ and that was most effective with the concentration of 5 $mg/m{\ell}$ on both of them. And antioxidative ability of Mori Cortex was better than Mori Ramulus(p<0.05). So I guess that hot-water extracts of Mori Ramulus and Mori Cortex have effects on antioxidative ability, but Mori Cortex is better than Mori Ramulus on antioxidation. Hereafter we need differential experimental methods of antioxidative effect on both of them.

호도약침액이 가토 뇌조직의 $Na^+-pump$활성 장애 개선에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Juglandis Semen Extract on Improvement of tBHT-induced $Na^+-pump$ Inactivity in Rabbit Cerebral Cortex)

  • This study was undertaken to determine whether Juglandis Semen (JAS) extract exerts protective effect against oxidant-induced inhibition of $Na^+-pump$ activity in cerebral cortex. $Na^+-pump$ activity was estimated by measuring ouabain-sensitive oxygen consumption. The oxygen consumption significantly inhibited by 1mM t-butylhydroperoxide (tBHP), which was prevented by addition of 2% JAS extract. The oxygen consumption was increased by an increase in $Na^+$ concentration from 5 to 100 mM, $K^+$ concentration from 0.5 to 10 mM, and $Mg^{2+}$ concentration from 0.2 to 5 mM. These changes in ion concentrations did not affect the inhibitory effect of tBHP and protective action of JAS on oxygen consumption. tBHP (l mM) produced a significant increase in lipid peroxidation in cerebral cortex, which was prevented by 2% JAS extraction. These results suggest that JAS exerts protective effect against tBHP-induced inhibition of $Na^+-pump$ activity in the cerebral cortex, probably through action as antioxidant.

풍화작용에 의한 정상모발의 형태학적 변화 (Morphological Change of Men's Hair Shaft by Weathering)

  • 성인 남성의 모발에서 정상 모간과 자연상태에서 손상된 모간의 외부형태와 미세구조적 변화를 광학현미경과 주사 및 투과전자현미경으로 관찰하였다. 정상 모간은 모소피층, 모피질, 모수질 등의 3부분으로 구성되어 있었다. 모소피층은 $5\sim7$개의 모소피세들이 중첩되어 모피질과 모수질을 둘러싸고 있고, 길게 신장되어 모피질을 둘러싸고 있는 소피세포의 두께는 약 $0.4{\mu}m$로 확인되었다. 또한, 이들 세포사이에는 약 $25{\mu}m$의 세포사이 막복합체가 관찰되었다. 모피질은 잘 발달되어 각질화세포(cornified cell)들로 치밀하게 채워져 있었고, 각질화세포는 직경이 약 $0.5\sim0.8{\mu}m$인 구형 또는 타원형의 macrofibril로 구성되어 있었으며, 이들은 약 8 nm 두께의 가는 microfibril이 동심원상의 규칙적인 형태로 배열되어 있었다. 그리고 macrofibril사이에는 약 $0.5{\mu}m$ 크기의 직경을 가진 구형의 melanin과립들이 고르게 산재되어 관찰되었다. 모수질은 공기가 채워져 있었고, 직경이 약 $16{\mu}m$의 구형의 형태로 모간의 전체 직경에 1/5정도를 차지하고 있었다. 풍화에 의해 손상된 모간은 모소피층이 박리되어 있었으며, 모피질세포의 세포질도 손상되어 melanin과립들이 표면에 노출되어 있는 것인 확인되었다. 조직표본상에서 모소피층의 박리과정은 모소피 사이에 공포가 형성되고, 이어서 모소피의 가장자리가 떨어져 나가고, 박리되지 많은 부위는 절단되었다. 모소피가 탈락되어 모피질이 노출된 부위에서는 각질화세포내에 존재하는 macrofibril이 각각 분리되고, 인접된 macrofibril사이에 공기가 채워지게 어 모간의 풍화과정은 더욱 촉진되었다. 그리고 노출된 macrofibril사이에서 탈락 직전의 melanin과립들이 산재되어 관찰되었다.

오가피순 추출물의 항산화 효과 및 아질산염 소거능 (Antioxidant Effects and Nitrite Scavenging Ability of Extract from Acanthopanax cortex Shoot)

  • 본 연구에서는 오가피순 추출물의 항산화 효과를 평가하였다. 오가피순 추출물의 총 페놀 함량과 플라보노이드 함량은 각각 $116.33{\pm}6.09mg\;GAE/g$, $65.07{\pm}4.10mg\;RE/g$으로 나타났다. 오가피순 추출물의 항산화능은 다양한 항산화 모델(DPPH, FRAP, Reducing power, ABTS, ORAC assay)을 이용하여 평가하였다. ORAC assay를 제외한 위의 항산화 모델에서는 0.1, 0.5 및 $1.0mg/m{\ell}$의 농도로 측정한 결과, DPPH 라디칼 소거능은 오가피순 추출물의 농도가 증가함에 따라 $23.3{\pm}0.8$, $28.8{\pm}1.3$$33.7{\pm}3.7%$로 평가되었고, ABTS 경우에는 6.42, 12.47 및 16.69%로 측정되었다. 또한, FRAP 활성은 0.081, 0.160 및 0.259로, Reducing power는 0.034, 0.097 및 0.180으로 나타나 추출물의 농도가 증가함에 따라 항산화활성도 증가하였다. 한편 $0.1mg/m{\ell}$에서의 ORAC value는 $103.4{\pm}3.6{\mu}M\;TE/g$으로 나타났고, 아질산염 소거능은 0.1, 0.5 및 $1.0mg/m{\ell}$의 농도에서 각각 3.6, 9.0 및 13.2%로 나타났다. 최근 건강기능 식품의 관심도가 증가하는 것을 고려해 볼 때, 오가피순 추출물은 기능성식품 또는 천연 항산화제의 소재로써의 이용 가능성을 보였다.

생쥐에서 오가피에 의한 싸이토카인 유도와 면역반응에 관한 효과 (Effects of Acanthopanacis cortex Extracts on the Cytokine-inducing and Immune response in Mice)

  • This experimental study was carried out to evaluate the effects of Acanthopanacis cortex on Cytokine-inducing and and immune response in Mice. In order to investigate the effect of Acanthopanacis cortex, the following was performed; Cytotoxicity, in vitro, the fraction of $CD4^+$, $CD8^+$, $B220^+$ in splenic cell, gene expression of IL-12(p35), IL-12(p40), IFN-${\gamma}$, and splenic cell proliferation by Acanthopanacis cortex. Analysis of cytokine gene expression was carried out by RT-PCR amplification. Amplified PCR products were electrophoresed on 1.2% agarose gel, and the analysis (Ht) was used to 1D-density program. The results were obtained as follows. Acanthpanacis cortex showed didn't have cell toxicity under $12{\mu}g/m{\ell}$ group on mouse lung fibroblast cells. In an in vitro model using mouse peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs), extract of Acanthpanacis cortex induced multiple cytokine, including interleukin-12 (p35), interleukin-12 (p40), interferon-gamma (IFN-${\gamma}$). The extract also enhanced the percentages of the $CD4^+$, and $CD8^+$ in the untreated control were $22.1{\pm}3.3$ to $38.4{\pm}2.1$, and $5.0{\pm}0.4$ to $10.7{\pm}0.3%$, respectively. From above findings, it is suggested that Acanthopanacis cortex is able to anti-cancer and activate immune response system.

상백피 분말 첨가 식빵의 품질특성 및 제조조건 최적화 (Quality Characteristics and Optimization of Bread with Mori Cortex Radicis Powder Using Response Surface Methodology)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the antioxidative effects of Mori Cortex Radicis powder and to determine the optimal mixing ratio of Mori Cortex Radicis powder and water in the preparation of bread. The optimal sensory composite recipe was determined by producing bread with different levels of Mori Cortex Radicis powder and water. The analysis was performed using response surface methodology and a sensory evaluation was performed with the data. Ten experimental recipes, including two with reference points in the composition, were selected. In terms of the antioxidative effects of Mori Cortex Radicis powder, the $IC_{50}$ for total phenolic content and DPPH free radical scavenging activity were 149.56 GAE/g dry powder and 137.77 /mL respectively. Measurement results of the mechanical properties showed differences in volume (p<0.05), baking loss (p<0.05), yellowness (p<0.01), lightness (p<0.01), redness (p<0.01), hardness (p<0.01) and springiness (p<0.05). The sensory measurements showed significant values for color (p<0.05), appearance (p<0.05), flavor (p<0.01), taste (p<0.01), and overall quality (p<0.01). Overall, based on numerical and graphical methods, the optimal formulation was determined to be 21.16 g of Mori Cortex Radicis powder and 372.47 g of water.

오가피 추출액 첨가 약주의 발효특성 (Fermentation Characteristics of Yakju Added with Acanthopanacis cortex Extract)

  • 오가피 추출액을 첨가하여 약주를 제조하고 발효 및 품질 특성을 조사하였다. 오가피 추출물 첨가 발효주는 대조구와 전체적으로 비슷한 발효 특성을 보였다. pH는 모든 처리구에서 발효 3일 만에 급격히 떨어졌고 발효 6일 이후로는 4.0 내외로 변화가 없었으며, 산도는 오가피 추출물 첨가구와 대조구 차이가 거의 없었다. 당도와 환원당은 모든 시험구에서 발효초기에 감소하다가 후기에는 완만하게 감소하였다. 발효주의 알코올 함량은 발효초기에는 대조구가 오가피 추출물 첨가구보다 높았으나 발효 6일째 이후로는 오가피 추출물 첨가구의 함량이 높았으며, 발효 종료일까지 점차적으로 증가하는 경향을 보였다. pH, 산도, 환원당 및 알코올 함량이 발효 $0{\sim}3$일 사이에 급격히 변화하는 것으로 나타나 담금 후 $0{\sim}3$일에 발효가 가장 왕성하게 일어나는 것으로 사료되었다. 유기산으로는 acetic acid, lactic acid, oxalic acid, malic acid 및 succinic acid가 검출되었으며, 전체 유기산 함량은 acetic acid의 함량이 가장 많았다. 오가피의 지표성분으로 알려져 있는 eleutheroside E와 chlorogenic acid는 2단 담금 후에는 두 유효성분의 함량 변화가 거의 없이 안정된 상태를 유지하였으며, 발효 종료일에는 발효주 중의 eleutheroside E 함량은 $7.61{\pm}0.39{\mu}g/mL$이었고, chlorogenic acid 함량은 $3.63{\pm}0.18{\mu}g/mL$이었다. Fusel oil 함량은 두 시험구에서 n-propyl alcohol, isobutyl alcohol 및 isoamyl alcohol 함량이 $0.08{\pm}0.001{\sim}0.86{\pm}0.03mg%$로 적은 양이 검출되었다. 관능검사 결과 오가피 추출물 첨가구는 전체적으로 모든 항목에서 대조구와 유사한 관능평점을 나타내었다.

전침(電鍼)이 amyloid-β에 의한 구심성 체감각 신경정보전달 변화에 미치는 영향 (Effect of electro-acupuncture ST36 on altered transmission of afferent somatosensory information caused by amyloid-β)

  • Objective : This study is to investigate the effect of electro-acupuncture ST36 on altered transmission of afferent somatosensory information caused by amyloid-${\beta}$(A-${\beta}$) that caused Alzheimer's disease. Methods : The effects of topical application of A-${\beta}$, A-${\beta}$ with ST36, aggregated A-${\beta}$(aA-${\beta}$), aA-${\beta}$ with ST36 and ST36 on the afferent sensory transmission to the neurons in the primary somatosensory(SI) cortex was observed in anesthetized rats. Quantitative determination of the effects of A-${\beta}$, A-${\beta}$ with ST36, aA-${\beta}$, aA-${\beta}$ with ST36 and ST36 was made by generating poststimulus time histogram of evoked response of individual cortical neuron by electrical stimulation of the receptive located in peripheral area(forepaw) Results : The results obtained in present study were summerized as follow : 1. Application of physiological concentrative 0.5 nM A-${\beta}$ caused afferent sensory transmission of SI cortex facilitated. 0.5 nM A-${\beta}$ with ST36 exerted much stronger effects than 0.5 nM A-${\beta}$ alone. 2. Application of $10{\mu}M$ A-${\beta}$ caused afferent sensory transmission of SI cortex unchangeable. But $10{\mu}M$ A-${\beta}$ with ST36 is facilitated at 30 min of post-drug period 3. Application of $10{\mu}M$ aA-${\beta}$ caused afferent sensory transmission of SI cortex diminished. $10{\mu}M$ aA-${\beta}$ with ST36 is diminished after 15min of post-drug period but is facilitated after 75min.
