The fatigue crack propagation behaviors of Z3CN20.09M duplex stainless steel (DSS) were investigated by studying oxide films of specimens tested in $290^{\circ}C$ water and air. The results indicate that a full oxide film that consisted of oxides and hydroxides was formed in $290^{\circ}C$ water. By contrast, only a half-baked oxide film consisting of oxides was formed in $290^{\circ}C$ air. Both environments are able to deteriorate the elastic modulus and hardness of the oxide films, especially the $290^{\circ}C$ water. The fatigue lives of the specimens tested in $290^{\circ}C$ air were about twice of those tested in $290^{\circ}C$ water at all strain amplitudes. Moreover, the crack propagation rates of the specimen tested in $290^{\circ}C$ water were confirmed to be faster than those tested in $290^{\circ}C$ air, which was thought to be due to the deteriorative strength of the oxide films induced by the mutual promotion of oxidation and crack propagation at the crack tip. It is noteworthy that the crack propagation can be postponed by the ferrite phase in the DSS, especially when the specimens were tested in $290^{\circ}C$ water.
After conducting QRA(quantitative risk assessment) for the high pressure urban gas pipelines planned to be installed, RMMs(risk mitigation measures) when the societal risk is outside the acceptable region have been derived in this paper. Also risk reduction rates are calculated for each RMM. As a result of QRA, we find out that damaged distance caused by radiational heat is largely dependent upon the wind velocity and the atmospheric stability. The measure that has the highest risk reduction effect is No. 10 which includes pipeline corrosion monitoring, MOV(motor operated valve) installation and the method to protect pipeline damage caused by third-party mechanical interference, and which shows 75 % of risk reduction effect.

Magnetic random access memory (MRAM) has made a prominent progress in memory performance and has brought a bright prospect for the next generation nonvolatile memory technologies due to its excellent advantages. Dry etching process of magnetic thin films is one of the important issues for the magnetic devices such as magnetic tunneling junctions (MTJs) based MRAM. CoFeB is a well-known soft ferromagnetic material, of particular interest for magnetic tunnel junctions (MTJs) and other devices based on tunneling magneto-resistance (TMR), such as spin-transfer-torque MRAM. One particular example is the CoFeB - MgO - CoFeB system, which has already been integrated in MRAM. In all of these applications, knowledge of control over the etching properties of CoFeB is crucial. Recently, transferring the pattern by using milling is a commonly used, although the redeposition of back-sputtered etch products on the sidewalls and the low etch rate of this method are main disadvantages. So the other method which has reported about much higher etch rates of >$50{\AA}/s$ for magnetic multi-layer structures using $Cl_2$/Ar plasmas is proposed. However, the chlorinated etch residues on the sidewalls of the etched features tend to severely corrode the magnetic material. Besides avoiding corrosion, during etching facets format the sidewalls of the mask due to physical sputtering of the mask material. Therefore, in this work, magnetic material such as CoFeB was etched in an ICP etching system using the gases which can be expected to form volatile metallo-organic compounds. As the gases, carbon monoxide (CO) and ammonia ($NH_3$) were used as etching gases to form carbonyl volatiles, and the etched features of CoFeB thin films under by Ta masking material were observed with electron microscopy to confirm etched resolution. And the etch conditions such as bias power, gas combination flow, process pressure, and source power were varied to find out and control the properties of magnetic layer during the process.

This study was carried out to investigate the effects of various mix designs of concrete on the compressive strengths and corrosive rates when the concretes were immersed in sea water of the West Sea, as the part of study related to durated to durability of concrete by action of the sea water. Concrete mix designs used in this study were ordinary Concrete mix, Concrete mixes with different admixtures such as fly ash, pozzolith and vinsol resin, and pozzolan concrete mix. The concrete specimens were made and cured for 7 days and 28 days in the fresh water in accordance with the Korean Standard specification for concrete. Compressive strengths of the specimens were measured after immersing the specimens for one year in fresh water and sea water which were placed indoors. The sea water used in this test was taken from the Bay of Ahsan. Corrosive rate was also tested after immersing the specimens in the same sea water and placed indoors for one year. The results obtained from the tests are summarized as follows; 1. Compressive strength of an ordinary concrete was the lowest of the various mix desings of concrete immersed both in the fresh water and the sea water. Therefore, the uses of pozzolan cement, fly ash, pozoolith and vinsol resin in mix design of concrete had and effect on increasing compressive strength. 2. Pozzolan concrete was the most effective on compressive strength in the fresh water, but it had less effect than concrete with fly ash admixture immersed in the sea water. 3. The use of fly ash admixture in mix design of concrete showed higher strength as the immersing age is longer both in fresh water and sea water than the other concretes besides pozzolan concrete, but the concretewith fly ash admixture had lower strength than pozzolan concrete in the sea water. Therefore, concrete with fly ash admixture might be better than the pozzolan concrete as far as durability of concrete to sea water was concerned. 4. The use of pozzolith admixture in mix design of concrete had less compressive strength than the use of pozzolan cement for fly ash admixture both in fresh water and sea water. However, the concrete with pozzolith admixture was much stronger than one with vinsol resin admixture in fresh water, but somewhat stronger in the sea water. 5. Though the use of vinsol resin admixture was more effective than ordinary concrete on compressive strength both in fresh water and sea water, it was the least compressive strength among the other concretes. 6. Relation between compressive strengths and absorption rates of every kind of concrete besides concrete with fly ash admixture showed a linear regression line and the compressive strength is highee as the absorption rate is lower. Concrete with fly ash admixture had extremely high strength in comparison with corresponding adsorption rates of the other concretes. 7. Corrosive appearance on the surface of concretes was not occured significantly when exposed to the sea water for one year, However, the specimens of concretes besides ordinary concrete were a little heavier than those cured in fresh water for 28 days.

This study was attempted in order to search for phyosical properties on various mix designs of concrete as ne of studies relating top revention against corrosion by action of sea water in the West Sea. In this study, as concerete mix design, fly ash, pozzolith and vinsolresin were used as admixtures for normal portland cement respectively, and pozzolan cement and normal cement were also used for each plain concrete. Concrete specimens were made and cured in accordance with the Korean Standard Specifications for concrete. In thetest, compressive strengths of the specimens were measured at the following ages; 7-day, 28-days and 3-months. Absorption test was made by immersing the specimens in water kept at boiling temperature for 5 hours. The results obtained from the tests are summarized as follows; 1. The use of fly ash as an admixture in mix design of concrete, has an effect on compressive strength at each age. But it is actually not effective on absorption by concrete, as the result of the fly ash concrete is almost the same at that of ordinary plain concrete. 2. The use of pozzolith as an admixture in mix design of concrete, has an effect on both of compressive strength at each age and absorption rate. The pozzolith is more effective than vinsol resin, relating to improvement for physical proreties of concrete. 3. The use of vinsol resin as an admixture in mix design of concrete, has also an effect on both of compressive strength at each age and absorption rate. As the above fact, effectiveness of the vinsol resin is some what lower than pozzolith, as far as physical properties of the concrete are concerned. 4. Plain concrete used pozzolan cement only is the most effective on both of strength at each age and absorption rate in this study. The pozzolan cement is characteristic of higher strenth as the age is later. 5. Relationship between compreessive strengths and absorption rates of the concrete is shown by a different regression line dependingon ages. The gradient of the regression line is steeper as the age is later. 6. Throught physical test, it may be expected that the use of pozzolith and vinsol resinas asan admixture respectively will be better resistant than fly ash or ordinary plain concrete and that plain pozzolan concrete will also be the best resistant to action of sea water due to improvement of theirphysical properties.

The tubes in heat exchanger are typically made from copper alloy, stainless steel, carbon steel, titanium alloy material. type-439 ferritic stainless steel is ferromagnetic material, and furnish higher heat transfer rates than austenitic stainless steels and higher resistance to corrosion-induced flaws. Ferritic stainless steel can typically be found in low-pressure(LP) feedwater heaters and moisture separator reheaters(MSRs). LP feedwater heaters generally utilize thin wall type-439 stainless steel tubing, whereas MSRs typically employ a heavier wall tubing with integral fins. Service-induced damage can occur on the OD(outside diameter) surface of type-439 ferritic stainless steel tubing which is employed for MSRs tubing, and the most typical damage mechanism is vibration-induced tube-to-TSP(tube support plate) wear and fatigue cracking. The wear has been reported that occurs mainly on the OD surface. Accordingly, in this study, we have evaluated the flaw sizing capability of magnetic saturation eddy current technique using magnetic saturation probe and flawed specimen.
One of resins, V-Flon is useful as a coating material because YK-D80, which is a solvent for V-Flon, is not highly volatile. However, it can not completely harden and can flow out when metal artifacts are joined and restored in the process of the treatment. Therefore, after the impregnation process in order to accelerate the hardening speed of a coating material, usually a dry oven was adopted. This study focused on finding the problems on the dry oven which is employed to increase the speed and investigating the most effective solvent and its composition by checking any change occurred depending on the concentration of solvents. Six different types of solvents were selected and samples were prepared in a manner that they were impregnated with solvents in three concentrations respectively (10%, 20%, 30%). To determine the condition of the samples, the stability evaluation was performed by measuring the change of color and the gloss, the thickness of coated layers, the corrosion after coating, the water resistance by contact angles. Through the comparative experiments between the natural drying and the artificial drying using a dry oven, it was found that when the dry oven is used, some problems are identified on the point of forming a uniform and stable layer because of the unstable data collected from the forced artificial dry. The experiments performed using 3 different concentration rates (10%, 20%, 30%) presented that in the case of 10% V-Flon in Xylene (using as a solvent), its layer was thin as well as it showed the high water-barrier property, which allows it to form the stably coated layer with the lower gloss and color change.

The heat exchanger tube in nuclear power plants is mainly fabricated from nonferromagnetic material such as a copper, titanium, and inconel alloy, but the moisture separator & reheater tube in the turbine system is fabricated from ferromagnetic material such as a carbon steel or ferrite stainless steel which has a good mechanical properties in harsh environments of high pressure and temperature. Especially, the moisture separator & reheater tubes, which use steam as a heat transfer media, typically employ a tubing with integral fins to furnish higher heat transfer rates. The ferromagnetic tube typically shows superior properties in high pressure and temperature environments than a nonferromagnetic material, but can make a trouble during the normal operation of power plants because the ferrous tube has service-induced damage forms including a steam cutting, erosion, mechanical wear, stress corrosion cracking, etc. Therefore, nondestructive examination is periodically performed to evaluate the tube integrity. Now, the remote field testing(RFT) technique is one of the solution for examination of ferromagnetic tube because the conventional eddy current technique typically can not be applied to ferromagnetic tube such as a ferrite stainless steel due to the high electrical permeability of ferrous tube. In this study, we have designed RFT probes, calibration standards, artificial flaw specimen, and probe pusher-puller necessary for field application, and have successfully carry out RFT examination of the moisture separator & reheater tube of nuclear power plants.

A study has been carried out on metal materials in order to identify the quantitative relation between the concentration and damage characteristics after evaluation of the damage characteristics according to the $SO_2$ concentration. The prepared metal samples, which were categorized according to the material (silver, copper, iron, lead, brass) were exposed to 0.01, 0.12, 1, 10, 100, 1,000, and 5,000ppm of $SO_2$ for 24 hours and the optical, physical, chemical deterioration rates both before and after testing were evaluated. The results showed optical deterioration, a loss of gloss on silver specimen with $SO_2$ 100ppm, an increase of color difference on brass, iron, copper and lead specimens with $SO_2$ 5,000ppm, as well as physical changes such as an increase of thickness and corrosion rate on iron sample with $SO_2$ 5,000ppm. In the case of chemical changes such as an increase sulfate ion ($SO{_4}^{2-}$) concentration and decrease of pH on iron and brass specimens were identified. These results suggest that $SO_2$ 100ppm caused clear optical deterioration on some metals such as silver and physicochemical and optical deterioration were identified at $SO_2$ 5,000ppm regardless of metal type. Also, It was concluded that iron and brass are the most susceptible of the metal specimens to $SO_2$.

An important business-field of world-wide steel-industry is the coating of thin metal-sheets with zinc, zinc-aluminum and aluminum based materials. These products mostly go into automotive industry. in particular for the car-body. into building and construction industry as well as household appliances. Due to mass-production, the processing is done in large continuously operating plants where the mostly cold-rolled metal-strip as the substrate is handled in coils up to 40 tons unwind before and rolled up again after passing the processing plant which includes cleaning, annealing, hot-dip galvanizing / aluminizing and chemical treatment. In the liquid Zn, Zn-AI, AI-Zn and AI-Si bathes a combined action of corrosion and wear under high temperature and high stress onto the transfer components (rolls) accounts for major economic losses. Most critical here are the bearing systems of these rolls operating in the liquid system. Rolls in liquid system can not be avoided as they are needed to transfer the steel-strip into and out of the crucible. Since several years, ceramic roller bearings are tested here [1.2], however, in particular due to uncontrollable Slag-impurities within the hot bath [3], slide bearings are still expected to be of a higher potential [4]. The today's state of the art is the application of slide bearings based on Stellite\ulcorneragainst Stellite which is in general a 50-60 wt% Co-matrix with incorporated Cr- and W-carbides and other composites. Indeed Stellite is used as the bearing-material as of it's chemical properties (does not go into solution), the physical properties in particular with poor lubricating properties are not satisfying at all. To increase the Sliding behavior in the bearing system, about 0.15-0.2 wt% of lead has been added into the hot-bath in the past. Due to environmental regulations. this had to be reduced dramatically_ This together with the heavily increasing production rates expressed by increased velocity of the substrate-steel-band up to 200 m/min and increased tractate power up to 10 tons in modern plants. leads to life times of the bearings of a few up to several days only. To improve this situation. the Mechanical Alloying (MA) TeChnique [5.6.7.8] is used to prOduce advanced Stellite-based bearing materials. A lubricating phase is introduced into Stellite-powder-material by MA, the composite-powder-particles are coated by High Energy Milling (HEM) in order to produce bearing-bushes of approximately 12 kg by Sintering, Liquid Phase Sintering (LPS) and Hot Isostatic Pressing (HIP). The chemical and physical behavior of samples as well as the bearing systems in the hot galvanizing / aluminizing plant are discussed. DependenCies like lubricant material and composite, LPS-binder and composite, particle shape and PM-route with respect to achievable density. (temperature--) shock-reSistibility and corrosive-wear behavior will be described. The materials are characterized by particle size analysis (laser diffraction), scanning electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction. corrosive-wear behavior is determined using a special cylinder-in-bush apparatus (CIBA) as well as field-test in real production condition. Part I of this work describes the initial testing phase where different sample materials are produced, characterized, consolidated and tested in the CIBA under a common AI-Zn-system. The results are discussed and the material-system for the large components to be produced for the field test in real production condition is decided. Outlook: Part II of this work will describe the field test in a hot-dip-galvanizing/aluminizing plant of the mechanically alloyed bearing bushes under aluminum-rich liquid metal. Alter testing, the bushes will be characterized and obtained results with respect to wear. expected lifetime, surface roughness and infiltration will be discussed. Part III of this project will describe a second initial testing phase where the won results of part 1+11 will be transferred to the AI-Si system. Part IV of this project will describe the field test in a hot-dip-aluminizing plant of the mechanically alloyed bearing bushes under aluminum liquid metal. After testing. the bushes will be characterized and obtained results with respect to wear. expected lifetime, surface roughness and infiltration will be discussed.

제 6 장 손해배상 및 기타사항
제 18 조 (손해배상)
당 사이트는 무료로 제공되는 서비스와 관련하여 회원에게 어떠한 손해가 발생하더라도 당 사이트가 고의 또는 과실로 인한 손해발생을 제외하고는 이에 대하여 책임을 부담하지 아니합니다.
제 19 조 (관할 법원)
서비스 이용으로 발생한 분쟁에 대해 소송이 제기되는 경우 민사 소송법상의 관할 법원에 제기합니다.

1. (시행일) 이 약관은 2016년 9월 5일부터 적용되며, 종전 약관은 본 약관으로 대체되며, 개정된 약관의 적용일 이전 가입자도 개정된 약관의 적용을 받습니다.
