  • This research used a survey of 350 staff members working at Korail with the purpose of analyzing influence factors for the railway tourism policy for job satisfaction; results were presented for the proposed factor. First, we selected the influence factor through precedent research related to the railway tourism policy. Second, the selected influence factor and the extent of satisfaction were used to determine whether or not any kind of difference existed according to individual attributes of the railway employees. Finally, we analyzed what the influence factor was between the category factor and the sub-category factor. In conclusion, it was found that government subsidy had a meaningful correlation with infrastructure expansion and the improvement of the railway business as it is connected to tourism efficiency. Human resources have a meaningful correlation with the needs of educational institutions and the retaining of talent. Railway tourism production has a meaningful correlation with railway tour production as it is conducted to satisfy tourists and the consortium. The shift of viewpoint has a meaningful correlation with the escape from the peace-at-any price principle and demand forecasting.

  • The purpose of this research is to offer a method to derive the body shapes and pose factors with resets from analyzing factors by using the measurement values of human body. 297 male subjects in their twenties participated in this study. 54 anthropometric and 35 photographic measurements were taken from each subject. Data is the several typical items selected among items and you have to make an index value by using these typical items and convert it. The index has high correlation with each item, is easy to be measured and is to be used after selecting an important item in designing prototype. With results of analyzing reliability level by each item, correlation and items that factor loading is low, the item that the correlation is high is to be removed within the range that maintains the reliability level. Five factors of the front part and seven factors of the profile came to be derived from this kind of process.

  • In the reversed-phase chromatography, the retention time of sample was investigated based on the molecular structure of compound. Several descriptors that were related to retention factors were selected, and then the values of descriptors were calculated with several softwares. The effect of retention factor was measured with calculated values, and the results were obtained that each descriptors of molecular structure of compound have different effect on the retention factor. Therefore, the empirical equation for seven types of descriptors considered was obtained, and it has high values of correlation coefficient. Furthermore, the experimental data and calculated values have good agreement.

  • Objective : The purpose of this study was to analyze the correlation between physical factors (X-factor, X-factor stretch) and club factors (club speed, ball speed, club path, smash factor, vertical launch angle, spin rate, flight time, total length) during impact and it affect on the total distance of the ball during a golf driver swing. Background : There were not enough studies that analyzed the correlation between physical factors(X-factor, X-factor stretch) and club factors(club speed, ball speed, club path, smash factor, launch angle, spin rate, flight time, total length) during a purpose swing to increase total distance. Method : For this study, 9 right handed professional male golfers (KPGA) were chosen. The test subject group used their own drivers and each took a total of 10 swings. These swings consisted of 5 purpose swings to increase total distance and 5 normal swings. Results : The purpose swing to increase total distance showed larger physical factors(X-factor, X-factor stretch) compared to a normal swing however the results were not statistically significant. Total distance increased during a purpose swing as a result of ball and club speed. Conclusion : The results showed that club factors, ball speed and club speed contributed the most in affecting the total distance of the ball during a purpose swing.

  • In this paper, we consider a Bayesian model selection for the intraclass correlation coefficient in familiar data. In particular, we compare two nested models such as the independence and intraclass models using the reference prior. A criterion for testing is the Bayesian Reference Criterion by Bernardo (1999) and the Intrinsic Bayes Factor by Berger and Pericchi (1996). We provide numerical examples using simulation data sets for illustration.

  • In order to effectively manage the reservoir, reservoir water quality management should be based on physicochemical and configurational characteristics. In this research, correlation between factors affecting the reservoir water quality was examined. Chl-a and COD shows the highest positive correlation. Chl-a and T-P also has a high positive correlation, however Chl-a and T-N show lower correlation relatively. Even though T-N is an important factor for phytoplankton growth which increase Chl-a concentration, corelation of Ch1-a and T-N shows that enough nitrogen in the reservoir isn't no longer limiting factor. The age of reservoir can cause of increasing COD and SS. Embankment height and elevation of reservoirs shows strong negative correlation to water quality. That means reservoir which is higher embankment height and locate in higher elevations is less contaminated. Regression expression was derived with Chl-a and water quality parameters, and height of reservoir. Finally Chl-a was simulated using regression expression and it was a good approach to predict the Chl-a concentration.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the body type of children's, especially torso, and to provide the fundamental data for children's clothing construction which can reflect the characteristics of their bodies. The subjects for photographic measurements are 308 elementary school children aged from 6 to 8 living in Seoul and urban area. Anthropometric measurements were performed indirectly from the pictures of subjects. The data were analyzed statistically using SPSSWIN. The results obtained from this study are as follows: 1. Through one-way ANOVA, items for heights, breaths, weight reveals the significant differences according to ages and genders. 2. Through Pearson correlation, it turns out that there are high correlation between any items of heights, but there is no correlation for item of shoulder inclination with any other items. 3. Through factor analysis of principal component model, six factors were extracted which covers 83.6% of the whole information. The first factor represents the items of heights which relates with linearity. The second factor describes the items of breaths, depths, and weight in relation with laterality. The third factor were gathered with depths of front and back in relation with posture of side, which proves as important one to characterize the children's torso. The other factors represents the items of posture of neck, depths in neck, shoulder inclination, respectively. 4. Through one-way ANOVA in factor by group, and Scheffe multi comparison test for each group, the factor 1 that is related with linearity reveals the significant differences according to ages and genders.

  • This study was conducted to investigate the nurses' recognition extent of nursing power and related factors. It was performed in a private university hospital using questionaire papers from Jul. 11 to Jul. 20, 1993. The collected data were in number of 209, and they were handled and analyzed by computer program (SPSS). Through above process, we got meaningful results as follow. 1. The factor concerned with whether the nursing department show its independent power or not was 4.1 on an average. Consequently above results showed that the independent power roles as a important factor. The factor concerned with study and research was 3.9 on an average. So that the extension of learning was also a comparatively important nursing power. But ensuring good material environment was merely 1.6 on an average. So it was understood as less important nursing power. 2. Between the factor concerned with enforcement of independence of nursing department and the factor concerned with extension of learning, there was positive correlation of 0.32 Pearson's Correlation Coefficent. It can be interpreted as the effort of extension of learning go side by side with the showing of independent power of nursing department. As a result the power of nursing become strong. And between the factor concerned with enforcenment of independence of nursing department and the ensuring o(good material environment, there was negative correlation of -0.28 Pearson's Correaltion Coefficint. It can be interpreted as the stronger the independent power of nursing, the more overlooked the recognized of material environment of nurses.
