Military Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) is utilized to search a mine under the sea. This paper presents design and performance verification of real-time hybrid navigation system for AUV. The navigation system uses Doppler Velocity Log (DVL) integration method to correct INS error in underwater. When the AUV is floated on the water, the accumulated error of navigation algorithm is corrected using position/velocity of GPS. The navigation algorithm is verified using 6 Degree Of Freedom (DOF) simulation, Program In the Loop Simulation (PILS). Finally, the experiments are performed in real sea environment to prove the reliability of real-time hybrid navigation algorithm.

This paper presents the evaluation of LPG (Liquefied petroleum gas) regulators for home use. For the evaluation, several properties of the regulators were experimentally analyzed, such as the operation of safety device, the adjusting and lock-up pressure, the adjusting spring and the diaphragm, with respect to the used time of the regulators. Experimental results showed that the initial operation performances of regulators were degraded with increase of the service time and also showed that the degradation of the performance and material property could become serious after about six-year-use of the regulators.

We present simulations and results to demonstrate the viability of stainless steel foil as a substrate for low power consumption, flexible AMOLED displays. Using organic planarization layers, we achieve very smooth surface properties, resulting in excellent TFT performance, that can be repetitively flexed without significantly affecting device performance. The use of phosphorescent OLEDs enables the design of low power consumption 40" AMOLED displays.

Electronic control systems adopted in water treatment facilities. And many water treatment facilities are operated by electrical and electronic devices or by remote control. So those are damaged by the surge which is generated by lightning inevitably. This study is intended to measure and analyze the SPD performance tests occurred at the electrical and electronic control devices and to show the methods of the reduction when the surge is occurred suddenly.

UHF method is very effective to diagnosis for partial discharge of GIS. In generally, inner UHF sensor can be attached on sheath cover of GIS under construction for periodic inspection. However, there is no inner UHF sensor for GIS of the domestic substation. We used the outer UHF sensor attached on spacer for GIS of existing substation. In this paper, we report the diagnosis result of partial discharge on 800kV GIS in domestic substation. From these results, we can find the quantity, reason and location of PD and certificate the performance of UHF method for partial discharge diagnosis of GIS.

In order to efficiently control boil-off rate of a liquefied hydrogen tank, the important thing is to maintain an appropriate vacuum level. however, compared to small and medium-sized storage tank, it is very difficult to create and maintain vacuum in large-capacity storage tanks. In this study, we aim to determine the target level of future large-capacity storage tank technology development and secure basic data on performance test methods by analyzing the corelation between evaporation gas and thermal conductivity of liquefied hydrogen storage tanks.

Augmented proportional navigation requires the information of a target acceleration, which must be estimated by a filtering logic. The process necessary accompanies a time lag, which degrades the guidance performance. A trade-off study between augmented and conventional proportional navigation is conducted with the time lag taken into consideration. The result shows that the conventional proportional navigation has better performance against a target maneuver in the missile-target coplane, while the augmented has better performance against out-of-coplane maneuver.

For the customer satisfaction, the inside customer satisfaction must be made by offering the service of a good quality to the inside customer. If the inside customer is not satisfied with own business, the achievement of customer's loyalty & customer satisfaction which have direct effects on the performance of a corporation, comes to be difficult. This study tries to analyze what effect the inside customer satisfaction has on the yield performance of a corporation on the subject of the salespersons of the direct-control store among the retail store business.

Chloride penetration into concrete is the main cause of the steel corrosion in concrete structures exposed to chloride-rich environments. Protective surface coatings are increasingly being applied to concrete structures to reduce chloride penetration. In this study, the performance of various surface coatings was evaluated. Most coatings showed good results for the various tests of the performance evaluation. Surface coatings can delay deterioration such as chloride-induced reinforcing bar corrosion effectively.

The steady state performance test for the digital protective relay using general relay test equipment has been main test methods. Because of the development of advanced power system testing equipments, dynamic performance test has been carried out additionally using a digital simulator such as RTDS(Real Time Digital Simulator). For the case of newly adopted digital protective relay with IEC 61850 and network, performance testing items need supplementing. This report displays testing items change according to newly protective relay.
