  • The sketch technique is being researched as the method of expressing intentions in 3D virtual space for cooperative work. The annotation which is necessary in 3D virtual space 1) not only enables the quick, easy and intuitive delivery of contents" but 2) must enable the input of sketch even on diverse and complicated surfaces and 3) must be expressed to recognize this in various angles in case of having the significance of 3D. Even if the sketch technique settles the precondition of 1), if 2) and 3) are not considered, the annotation is unable to deliver the contents accurately to the participant of cooperative work. Accordingly, a sketch annotation technique which enables the input of annotation even on complicated surfaces and also considers the contents of 3D is proposed using sketch-box technique.

  • Computer Supported Cooperative Work(CSCW) systems for cooperaton in distributed computing environment are used in many fields such as on-line approval, co-authoring, co-decision making, and so on. There have been many researches on co-drawing tools of the CSCW system, because they can be used in communication, co-design, and education. However, the existing tools are not flexible in system architecture and concurrency control. In this paper, we present "autonomous object," which includes concurrency control policy and information about its view. And we developed a new CSCW system with flexible system architecture.

  • This study examined co-worker relationship on of life between employees of contract foodservice in general hospital. Contract foodservice managed general hospitals surveyed from 1 October 2015 to 31 October 2015. A total of 230 questionnaires (cook-30 questionnaires, nutritionist-50 questionnaires, cook's helper-150 questionnaires) were distributed, and 177 questionnaires were used for the study. As a result, the quality of life of employees contract foodservice general hospital was composed of sub-factors (employee engagement, stress at work, home-work interface, working condition, general well-being). co-worker relationship was composed of sub-factors (cooperative co-worker relationship, competitive co-worker relationship). Causal relationship between variables was through regression analysis, and significant results were shown. ooperative co-worker relationship had an effect on employee engagement, stress at work, working condition and general well-being. competitive co-worker relationship.

  • Research on the development of key technologies of social work protection and content mashup tools has been carried out as an R&D project granted by the Korea Copyright Commission from 2013. The research aims to provide efficiency of the production environment of the secondary work of the digital contents as well as a systematic solution to the regulation-related problems. The essential features of the distribution management system for cooperative works developed though this study are the decision of the selling prices reflecting various license fee factors and the transparent distribution of the license fees. This paper represents a model which can automatically calculate the amount of the license fee in each derivative stage, independently of the license fee policies on each of the subsidiary contents when N-th works are producted on the basis of a previously approved first work.

  • In this paper, we investigate physical layer security in a cooperative cognitive radio networks (CRN) with a relay selection in the presence of a primary user and an eavesdropper. To protect the CRN from wiretapping by the eavesdropper, we propose employing an opportunistic relay selection scheme and multiple antennas at the destination that work based on the availability of channel state information at the receivers. Under these configurations, we derive an exact closed-form expression for the secrecy outage probability of the CRN, and also derive an asymptotic probability. Numerical results will be presented to verify the analysis.

  • Companies have developed local database without purpose of cooperation with others in the same category. That's because the cooperative work would cause cost in standardization, management, and usage of overlapping data. Therefore this paper proposes a system supporting an dynamic user interface for the sake of convenience of meta-data transformation and its users. The cooperative system will be able to connect companies together and minimize overlapping data by standardizing them. Eventually, the system will have an effect on cost-cutting and improve efficiency of maintenance and management.

  • An energy detection based spectrum sensing is widely known to be susceptible to the noise power uncertainty. As one of the methods to resolve this problem, a cooperative spectrum sensing based on an energy detector with double thresholds has been published recently. However, its performance analysis under a fading channel has not been carried out yet. In this paper, we present a closed form of performance analysis of the scheme by extending our previous work on evaluating the performance of an energy detector in the presence of noise power uncertainty.

  • The objective of this paper is to analyze requirements of distributed applications which use the different type of information and support the cooperative work environment between a group of persons in interactive mode, and to provide useful common services for the development of this kind of applications. For this, Interactive Cooperative Application Service as a horizontal service on the application layer and Session Management Service as a support service on the infrastructure layer were defined and designed using the concepts and rules of the Open Distributed Processing system. Application designers may use these services for building those applications which demand the requirements we have characterized in this paper.

  • This work presents an illustration of Nagra's AMAC (Advanced Methodology for Activation Characterization) approach to the South Korean pressurized water reactor Kori-1 decommissioning. The results achieved are supported by the existing experience from the detailed AMAC applications to Swiss NPPs and are used not only for a demonstration of the applicability of AMAC to South Korean NPPs, but also for a first approximation of the activated waste volumes to be expected from Kori-1. A packaging concept based on the above activation characterization is also presented, using the AMAC algorithmic optimization software ALGOPACK leading to the minimum number of waste containers needed given the selected packaging constraints. Nagra's AMAC enables effective planning before and during NPP decommissioning, including recommendations for cutting profiles for diverse reactor components and building structures. Finally, it is expected to lead to significant cost savings by reducing the number of expensive waste containers, by optimizing a potential melting strategy for metallic waste as well as by significantly limiting the number of radiological measurements. All information about Kori-1 used for the purpose of this study was collected from publicly available sources.

  • The degree of contribution each sensor makes towards the total information gathered by all sensors is not uniform in spatially correlated sensor fields. Considering bit allocation problem in such a spatially correlated sensor field, the number of bits to be allocated to each sensor should be proportional to the degree of contribution the sensor makes. In this paper, we deploy Shapley value, a representative solution concept in cooperative game theory, and utilize it in order to quantify the degree of contribution each sensor makes. Shapley value is a system that determines the contribution of an individual player when two or more players work in collaboration with each other. To this end, we cast the bit allocation problem into a cooperative game called bit allocation game where sensors are regarded as the players, and a payoff function is given in the criteria of mutual information. We show that the Shapley value fairly quantifies an individual sensor's contribution to the total payoff achieved by all sensors following its desirable properties. By numerical experiments, we confirm that sensor that needs more bits to cover its area has larger Shapley value in spatially correlated sensor fields.
