  • In this paper, the cooperative curriculum between university and company according to the 'Type of IT Business(TIB)' is proposed for an IT manpower cultivation. The cooperative curriculum is established by the core technology from the matching table between 'Type of IT Business(TIB)' and 'Class of IT Techniques(CIT)'. The company participated in the cooperative curriculum gives a guarantee of the job position to the university students who took this cooperative curriculum. For the cooperative curriculum, the agreement is needed between university and company for the establishment and its operation of UCCCC(University and Company Cooperative Curriculum Council) after an exchange of the Memorandum of Understanding(MOU) including the supply-demand of IT manpower, the core technology, and the job conditions. The cooperative curriculum will be useful for employments of small and medium sized companies.

  • Although cooperative learning strategies in many subject areas have been found to be effective, the effect of cooperative learning on academic achievement in science laboratory setting is not clear. Reported results on the effects of the strategies for higher achieving students are not also consistent. In this study, the cooperative learning strategies emphasizing student-centered learning which included higher order thinking activities were used in a elementary school science course. The cooperative and traditional learning groups were selected from fifth-grade classes, and taught about dissolution and solution for 16 class periods. The effects of the cooperative learning strategies upon students' academic achievement, science process skill, the attitude toward science instruction, and the perceptions of classroom environment were investigated. Two-way ANCOVA results revealed that the test scores of academic achievement and science process skill for the cooperative learning group were significantly higher than those of the traditional learning group. No interaction between the instruction and the level of previous achievement was found. The perceptions of confliction were higher in cooperative learning group. In the attitude toward science instruction and the perceptions of participation, however, no significant difference between the two groups was found. Educational implications are discussed.

For this purpose, this study carried out tasks as follows: First, we design a problem posing teaching learning program based on structural approach cooperative learning. Second, we analyze how problem posing based on structural approach cooperative learning affects students' mathematical achievement. Third, we analyze how problem posing based on structural approach cooperative learning affects students' mathematical disposition. The results of this study are as follows: First, in the aspect of mathematical achievement, the experimental group who participated in the problem posing program based on structural approach cooperative teaming showed significantly higher improvement in mathematical achievement than the control group. Second, in the aspect of mathematical disposition, the experimental group who participated in the problem posing program based on structural approach cooperative teaming showed positive changes in their mathematical disposition. Summing up the results, through problem posing based on structural approach cooperative learning, students made active efforts to solve problems rather than fearing mathematics and, as a result, their mathematical achievement was improved. Furthermore, through mathematics classes enjoyable with classmates, their mathematical disposition was also changed in a positive way.

  • This paper aims to evaluate the regional development model related regional cooperative system, especially, with the governmental-educational-industrial mutual cooperative establishment plan for regional development to propose the basic direction pursued by engineering colleges, regional development policy and policy of science and technology. It proceeds through the analysis of the distinctive qualities of modern scientific technique and the system to pursue it's policy, and the study of the necessity and concepts of regional cooperative system. For this, the present condition and main issues regarding the cooperative research system among the government, education and industry complex such as the regional consortium projects and the regional cooperative research center etc, are analyzed and examined. Besides these, questionnaire survey method for experts on regional development is used concerning the regional cooperating system, their ongoing cooperative research, main issues and the roles of the mutual cooperative system. In conclusion, it proposed evaluating methods for solidifying cooperation and development of mutual relations between regional development and regional cooperative system.

  • This paper reports the clinical findings and surgical treatment of feline right patent ductus arteriosus (RPDA) with a left aortic arch. A two-month-old female Maine Coon was referred for an investigation of regurgitation after weaning. RPDA with a left aortic arch was diagnosed based on the echocardiographic and computed tomography (CT) findings. A right-fourth intercostal thoracotomy was found to be an appropriate approach to the duct. Preoperative diagnosis is crucial and diagnostic imaging, including radiography, echocardiography, and cardiac CT examination, is essential for determining if the aortic arch is right or left.

  • The purpose of this study was to suggest the most effective method of group formation necessary fro the cooperative learning of the home economics in the middle school. For this purpose, 12 classes students in the 3rd grade of a middle school in Inchon City have been divided as 3 groups: 4 classes were consisted of the groups by the records, 4 classes by close friend. and 4 classes by lot. The STAD method of the cooperative learning methods has been evenly introduced to all 12 classes for 10 hours in 10 weeks. After those sessions. some questionnaires asking . and were collected from all students, Data, which were analyzed by the method of group formation for male and female students groups, showed following results: 1. The most effective group forming method was the group consisted by lot. This group was more effective than the group by close or the group by records. 2. While male students were influenced by the group forming method in the cooperative learning. female students were not. 3. More activity of the groups resulted more effects of the cooperative learning and made more positive attitude to the study of the home economics, and thus. teachers should care for the activity of each to make the students cooperative and to activate in the class.

  • In this paper a new space-time diversity relaying strategy using cooperative communication technique is proposed. More than one relaying terminals are included in one cooperative group to share their state information, such as frame error rate and channel state information. The best terminals are selected to send bit information using space-time diversity relay system. An implementation for the proposed scheme is also presented using the TDMA cooperative protocol. The resulting receive signal to transmit signal ratio and computer simulation demonstrate that the proposed strategy outperforms the conventional cooperative system.

  • The fundamental aim of this paper is to present a solution algorithm to achieve cooperative contour controlling, under joint acceleration constraint with maximum cooperative speed. Usually, the specifications like maximum velocity of cooperative trajectory are determined by the application itself. In resolving the cooperative trajectory into two complementary trajectories, an optimum task resolving strategy is employed so that the task assignment for each robot is fair under the joint acceleration constraint. The proposed algorithm of being an off-line technique, this could be effectively and conveniently extended to the existing servo control systems irrespective of the computational power of the controller implemented. Further, neither a change in hardware setup nor considerable reconfiguration of the existing system is required in adopting this technique. A simulation study has been carried out to verify that the proposed method can be realized in the generation of complementary trajectories so that they could meet the stipulated constraints in simultaneous maneuvering.

  • Being different from traditional mobile communication networks or wireless LAN with access points, ad hoc network can provide direct communications between homogeneous stations. Thus, it can be considered as a much advanced network. Somehow, many researches have been done to enhance system performance of ad hoc networks up to now, one of which is cooperative communications. In this paper, a cooperative MAC protocol, called CO-MAC protocol, is proposed and its performance is evaluated with a mathematical approach. Numerical results show that this scheme provides more enhanced system throughput especially when frame transmission error probability is high than DCF scheme, which is the key protocol in IEEE 802.11 standard, and rDCF scheme.
