This study is to find convergent effects of collaborative peer tutoring on communication ability and self-leadership of nursing students. According to the results of Mann-Whitney U and Kruskal-Wallis test using SPSS/WIN 19.0 for the survey of communication and self-leadership before and after experiments, there were significant differences of personality type, discussion preference and leadership in communication, and of motive of admission, leadership and school grades in self-leadership. There were positive correlations between communication and self-leadership before and after treatments. The results of Wilcoxon signed ranked test showed cooperative peer tutoring increased communication ability and self-leadership significantly each(p=.008, p<.001). These results could be used in developing intervention programs for enhancing communication and self-leadership of nursing students after further studies with wider range of subjects and setting control group.
The purpose of this study was to develop a Disaster Nursing Preparedness Response Competency(DNPRC) Scale in terms of convergence and to verify its validity and reliability. Based on ICN Framework of the Disaster Nursing Competencies, DNPRC was developed through literature review. Participants was 292 nurses. Content Validitys, Construct Validity, and Reliability was verified through the exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis, Convergent validity was tested by Pearson's coefficient correlation between DNPRC and DPQ-N. DNPRC was 5point likert scale with a total 34 item, consisting of 3 3 factosr, 16item of preparedness,4 factors, 18item of response. The reliability was Cronbach's ${\alpha}=.96$. This study may be useful to identify a disaster nursing competency and its related factors for nurse, and to develop nursing intervention to imprive nurses' disaster nursing competency.
This study investigates convergent influence on college life adaptation and its association with life stress, depression and ego resiliency among of nursing students. The data of life stress, depression and ego resiliency on college life adaptation was collected for the nursing students of G city from Dec. 5th 2015 to Feb. 8th 2016. There was a significant difference in life stress, college life adaptation according to club experience and grade level, depression according to best friend and ego resiliency according to satisfaction with major. Adaptation to college life was negatively correlated with life stress and it was positively correlated with ego resiliency. Life stress and ego resiliency is a significant predictor of college life adaptation in nursing students. Their explanatory power was 32.9%. In order to help nursing college students to adapt to college life well, it will be necessary to provide the intervention to decrease the degree of life stress and to the improvement convergence program on ego resiliency.

The major variables including hope, resilience, optimism, self-efficacy, academic adaptation, social adaptation, personal emotional adaptation, and university environment adaptation all showed significant positive correlations. Among the influential factors of positive psychological capital on college life adaptation, academic adaptation and social adaptation showed significant differences in optimism(p<.001) and self-efficacy(p<.001), while personal emotional adaptation and university environment adaptation showed significant differences in optimism(p<.001). Therefore, it is necessary to develop intervention programs that can improve positive psychological capital and apply them systematically to the educational field.
The purpose of this study was to identify socio-demographic variables, psychological variables and socio-relational variables influencing on suicide ideation of multicultural families. The participants were 186 multicultural adolescents. Data analysis was used descriptive statistics, correlation and multiple regression with the SPSS 23.0 program. In this study, the convergent relation between perception of patient safety culture and safety nursing activity was investigated to prevent safety accidents and prepare data of nursing intervention for patient safety. Nurses in B City who signed on the written consent participated in this study between February 16 and 28, 2015. A total of 266 copies were collected and were analyzed using the SPSS 20.0 program. The mean score of patient safety culture was 3.60 on a scale of 0 to 5, and safety nursing activity, 4.28. The subcategory of perception of patient safety culture, which included the accident report frequency and patient safety level positively (+) influenced safety nursing activity. Therefore, effective communications and report systems in hospitals may be necessary to enhance patient safety culture. Education programs of patient safety should be developed and provided to nurses in hospitals to enhance the levels of patient safety management and their services.
This study evaluates psychometric properties of the Revised Memory and Behavioral Problems Checklist(RMBPC) in Korean version. The sample includes 387 South Korean family caregivers who provide the majority of day to day tasks and emotional care for their older family members with physical and/or cognitive disabilities. The psychometric properties of the RMBPC are verified by item analysis, exploratory factor analysis(EFA) & confirmatory factor analysis(CFA). For cross-validity, the randomly divided two samples are used: one sample for EFA(n=193, 387/2) and the other sample for CFA(n=194, 387/2). The internal consistency of the K-RMBPC is excellent, and the convergent and criterion-related validity of the K-RMBPC with related variables is empirically confirmed. An EFA based on the Principal Component Analysis(PCA) method with varimax rotation explains 65.85% of variance accounted for by the three factors. A CFA also verifies that the model fit was acceptable. The shorter Korean version of the RMBPC is found reliable and valid. The translated checklist would be very useful for clinical and research settings by (a) focusing on observable, conceptually relevant, potentially modifiable behaviors and (b) using objective criteria within a self-administered framework, to enable clinicians and researchers to pinpoint areas of disturbance and target intervention goals for patients and caregivers in a cost-effective manner.
