In this paper, the complete convergence and complete moment convergence for a class of random variables satisfying the Rosenthal type inequality are investigated. The sufficient and necessary conditions for the complete convergence and complete moment convergence are provided. As applications, the Baum-Katz type result and the Marcinkiewicz-Zygmund type strong law of large numbers for a class of random variables satisfying the Rosenthal type inequality are established. The results obtained in the paper extend the corresponding ones for some dependent random variables.

The paper is devoted to study local convergence of a continuation method under the assumption of majorant conditions. The method is used to approximate a zero of an operator in Banach space and is of third order. It is seen that the famous Kantorovich-type and Smale-type conditions are special cases of our majorant conditions. This infers that our result is a generalized one in comparison to results based on Kantorovich-type and Smale-type conditions. Finally a number of numerical examples have been computed to show applicability of the convergence analysis.

이 연구의 목적은 중등학생들의 융합인재에 대한 이미지는 어떤 유형으로 형성되어있는지 알아보고, 융합인재교육(STEAM)을 경험한 학생과 그렇지 못한 학생들 간에 융합인재 이미지 유형에 있어 어떠한 차이가 나타나는지 파악하는 것이다. 연구목적의 달성을 위하여 남부권 소재 중등학생 187명이 이 연구에 참여하였으며, 이들로 하여금 자신이 생각하는 융합인재에 대해 그림을 그리고 간략한 설명을 적도록 하였다. 이렇게 수집된 자료를 귀납적으로 범주화하여 중등학생들의 '융합' 및 '융합인재'에 대한 인식을 탐색적으로 알아보았다. 그 결과, 중등학생들의 융합에 대한 인식은 크게 '개인인지과정으로서의 융합', '집단인지과정으로서의 융합', '산물로서의 융합'으로 크게 범주화되었다. 융합인재에 대한 이미지는 '개인인지과정으로서의 융합'의 하위유형으로 '두뇌수준 사고융합형', '누구나 아는 유명 인사형', 생활의 달인형', '다양한 직업인형', '문제해결자형', '창조적 개발자형', '실존하지 않는 이상적 인간형'이 있었으며, '집단인지과정으로서의 융합'의 하위단계로는 '전문가 집단형'과 '학생 집단형'이 있었고, '산물로서의 융합'의 하위단계에는 '단순 융합체형'이 나타났다. 중등학생들은 융합인재교육의 경험유무에 따라서 서로 다른 유형의 이미지가 형성되고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다.

본 연구는 중소기업 융합개념과 융합유형을 명확히 정립하고 중소기업 융합 사례를 유형별로 파악하여 융합을 통한 중소기업 경쟁력 증대에 도움이 되고자 하였다. 중소기업 융합유형은 Deloitte(2009)에서 제시한 기술과 산업, 가치개선과 창출 2가지 차원을 수용하여 기술은 투입, 산업은 산출의 차원에서 정의하여 중소기업 융합을 기술개선-시장확대형, 기술개선-시장창출형, 기술창출-시장확대형, 기술창출-시장창출형 4가지로 나누고 중소기업 융복합기술개발사업 우수사례집('11년 8월)에 소개된 기업들을 중심으로 융합유형을 분류하였다. 그 결과, 전체 13개의 사례 중 기술개선-시장확대형 5개, 기술개선-시장창출형 4개, 기술창출-시장확대형 3개, 기술창출-시장창출형 1개 순으로 나타나 중소기업의 경우 기술창출 보다는 기술개선에, 시장창출보다는 시장확대에 초점을 두고 융합이 이루어지고 있었다. 이러한 중소기업 융합 유형별 사례분석을 통해 파악할 수 있는 것은 중소기업이 융합을 통한 신기술이나 신시장을 창출하는 것이 매우 어렵다는 것이다. 따라서 중소기업은 기술개선을 통한 시장확대를 융합의 목표와 결과로 생각하고 있는 것으로 추정된다. 국가의 신성장동력을 육성하기 위해서 신기술이나 신산업 창출도 중요하지만 중소기업의 현실을 고려한 정책지원도 함께 고려해야 한다.

본 연구는 두가지 형태로 진행되었다. 첫째는 융복합 기술과 융복합 기술이전의 선행연구 검토 및 조사분석틀 분석에 근거하여 융복합 기술이전이라는 개념화와 측정 방법의 틀을 제시하였다. 둘째, 융복합 기술이전의 분류에 근거하여 기존 기술이전 조사틀에서 최근 정책적으로 중요하게 부각되고 있는 중소기업 융복합 기술이전을 전체 중소기업 기술이전 현황과 비교하였다. 정책적으로 공공부문에서 중소기업 기술이전이 중요하며 특히 융복합 기술이전의 건수와 금액 비교를 통해 융복합 기술이전이 진행 형태를 비교할 수 있다. 비교분석을 종합하면 전반적으로 중소기업에 대한 기술이전이 증가하는 추세에도 불구하고, 융복합 기술이전은 4.4%에 불과하다. 대학 및 정출연이 보유한 융복합 기술에 대한 중소기업 기술이전은 상대적 낮은 수준이다. 산업별로 볼 때 중소기업 기술이전이 활성화된 분야는 전자부품, 기계장비, 화학, 음식료, 의료 등이며 이러한 특징은 융복합 기술이전에서도 유사한 경향을 보였다. 기술생산자별로 보면 중소기업 기술이전뿐 아니라 융복합 기술 모두에서 대학의 역할이 강조되고 있다. 기술이전 금액관점에서 1~5천만원의 건수 및 금액 비중이 높으며 5백만원 미만의 건수도 많아지는 추세이며 융복합 기술이전도 유사한 형태를 나타내고 있다. 마지막으로 지역별로 융복합 기술이전을 포함한 기술이전 전체 성과가 서울, 대전, 경기에 집중되어 있다.

We determine the radius of convergence for some Newton{type methods (NTM) for approximating a locally unique solution of an equation in a Banach space setting. A comparison is given between the radii of (NTM) and Newton's method (NM). Numerical examples further validating the theoretical results are also provided in this study.

We present a unified local and semilocal convergence analysis for secant-type methods in order to approximate a locally unique solution of a nonlinear equation in a Banach space setting. Our analysis includes the computation of the bounds on the limit points of the majorizing sequences involved. Under the same computational cost our semilocal convergence criteria can be weaker; the error bounds more precise and in the local case the convergence balls can be larger and the error bounds tighter than in earlier studies such as [1-3,7-14,16,20,21] at least for the cases of Newton's method and the secant method. Numerical examples are also presented to illustrate the theoretical results obtained in this study.

Delta sequences play an important role in convergence and approximation theory. Much of classical approximation theory is based on delta sequence. The rate of convergence of certain types of these sequences in Sobolev spaces has recently been studied. Here we estimate convergence rate of convolution type delta sequence in higher dimension.

In this paper, we consider general Beta operators, which is a general sequence of integral type operators including Beta function. We study the King type Beta operators which preserves the third test function $x^2$. We obtain some approximation properties, which include rate of convergence and statistical convergence. Finally, we show how to reach best estimation by these operators.
