The purpose of this study was to find the characteristics of the foreign and domestic travels and to seek out the significance of the study, by grouping the geotweets users who moved abroad, according to the average and the standard deviation of moving distances. Geotweets which caused foreign and domestic travels occurred divided, after building a data mart and the moving distances of users were measured by using the Haversine formula. It has moved more often among groups of foreign travelers in countries that use the same language and have similar lifestyles. There has been a lot of movement in developed countries with well-established infrastructure in a group of domestic travelers. This study tried to draw common features, by calculating the travel distances by each user and grouped users according to the characteristics of user's moving distances. There are significant differences in national economic power, age, jobs, etc. among users from a total of 21 countries analyzed by this study, so a more precise analysis would be able to be conducted, only if the whole conditions are considered. A future study should additionally consider real factors.

The aim of this study is to present a practical teaching plan for liberal arts English classes that target foreign students. Foreign learners who do not have Korean language proficiency at the university level may struggle to understand the contents of liberal arts classes conducted by Korean language professors. In this study, six topics were selected (K-culture, Online game, Harry Potter, Disney, Marvel, DC) and topic-centered participatory class activities using various media were developed. A questionnaire was conducted to analyze learners' attitudes toward and perceptions regarding topic-oriented classes. It showed that learners' satisfaction with topic-based classes was high (75%), and the reasons for this high level of satisfaction were the instructors' caring attitudes, the comfortable class atmosphere, and the fun learners had in class. Learners also reported high satisfaction with various participatory class activities (81.9%), citing the learning benefits, their increased interest and motivation, and the efficiency of participatory classes. As globalization continues to increase the number of foreign students in South Korea, the need to develop realistic class plans and various class activities that are suitable for them is becoming more and more urgent.

Deep learning methods and attention mechanisms have been incorporated to improve facial emotion recognition, which has recently attracted much attention. The fusion approaches have improved accuracy by combining various types of information. This research proposes a fusion network with self-attention and local attention mechanisms. It uses a multi-layer perceptron network. The network extracts distinguishing characteristics from facial images using pre-trained models on RAF-DB dataset. We outperform the other fusion methods on RAD-DB dataset with impressive results.

I researched the acceptance attitude to the multiculturalism of Korean people and the relationship between language and society through two Korean films, and . And I researched the language form in the multicultural families in the way conducting the survey targeting international marriage immigrant women. The content and conclusion in shortly are as in the following. (1) The acceptance attitude to the multiculturalism of Korean people is somewhat positive in such a case having no interests among themselves. (2) It depends upon the society and the culture for the foreigners to come into contact and learn the language easily. It means well-adapted to the certain society for the foreign workers to use status-language such as slang and jargon in the society. And this is the good example to show us the relationship between the language and certain society. (3) The language form of the multicultural families in Korea is mainly Korean, but two languages are used in order to communicate well with monolingual. This is called 'bilingualism', and according to the result of my research I think it is 'listening comprehension type bilingualism'. From this time forward it is urgently needed to develop the contents in relation to multiculturalism and the 'bilingualism' education program for multicultural families instead of the education of Korean being limited to communication itself in order to improve adaptiveness to multiculturalism in Korean society.

This paper develops and builds an Integrated Assessment System for National Competency Standard Professional Basic. The integrated evaluation system for basic job competency in the National Competency Standards is developed to conduct examination by means of computers, smartphones and tablet PCs. The system can be used for the basic job competency test, examination for online cyber universities, job competency examination for enterprises, and the listening, reading, and speaking test in the foreign language proficiency examination and is even better in terms of facility investment and saved operating costs as well as efficient use of spaces in comparison with conventional evaluation schemes. Even greater synergy effects can be achieved by providing support for the integrated evaluation system for basic job competency in connection with the NCS qualification system. The evaluation system has been tested and practiced at a specialized high school and can be applied to the NCS education evaluation of the college and four-year college and to the selection examination of new employees of the company.

This study compared and analyzed the characteristics of new words by classifying 197 newly coined Korean and Chinese characters in 2017 and 2018 into single, compound, derivative, abbreviated, and hybrid words according to the coined method. In the case of a single language, Korean is all words borrowed from Chinese and English. However, no monolingual language appeared in Chinese. In the case of compound words, the format of the Chinese synthesis method was much more diverse and the generative power was stronger than that of Korea. In the case of derivatives, there are not many prefixes in both countries, and Korean suffixes have the strongest productivity of Chinese suffixes and weak productivity of foreign and native suffixes. Korean foreign language suffixes were characterized by relatively more appearance than Chinese. In the case of abbreviations, it can be seen that the productivity of dark syllables is stronger for Korean abbreviations, and the productivity of empty syllables is stronger for Chinese abbreviations. In the case of mixed languages, the hybrid form of Korean was much more diverse than that of Chinese. Through this study, it will be possible to help Chinese Korean learners understand the process of forming a new language, and to develop their ability to guess the meaning of Korean words while learning a new language.

In order to efficiently collect data, it is essential to locate the facilities and analyze the movement data. The current technology for location collection can collect data using a GPS sensor, but GPS has a strong straightness and low diffraction and reflectance, making it difficult for indoor positioning. In the case of indoor positioning, the location is determined by using wireless network technologies such as Wifi, but there is a problem with low accuracy as the error range reaches 20 to 30 m. In this paper, using BLE 4.2 built in Raspberry Pi, we implement Bluetooth Smart Ready. In detail, a beacon was produced for Advertise, and an experiment was conducted to support the serial port for data transmission/reception. In addition, advertise mode and connection mode were implemented at the same time, and a 3-count gradual algorithm and a quadrangular positioning algorithm were implemented for Bluetooth RSSI error correction. As a result of the experiment, the average error was improved compared to the first correction, and the error rate was also improved compared to before the correction, confirming that the error rate for position measurement was significantly improved.

This study is to propose a communication strengthening teaching model using action learning for Spanish learners, and to verify its effectiveness through a case study of Spanish lessons. This study was conducted under the same conditions by dividing 91 students from September 1 to December 20, 2019 into experiment and control classes. As a result of the experiment, both classes improved their writing ability to some extent, but the learners in the experimental class applying action learning showed more meaningful results in terms of the content, expressions, fluency of the text, and the affective domain test also showed a significant difference. The development of this teaching model, which is necessary for learner-centered convergence activities, is expected to be of academic significance as it can be used for other foreign language class activities as well as improving Spanish communication.

In an environment where English is a foreign language, English learners can use AI voice chatbots in English-speaking practice activities to enhance their speaking motivation, provide opportunities for communication practice, and improve their English speaking ability. In this study, we propose a teaching-style AI voice chatbot that can be easily utilized by lower elementary school students and enhance their learning. To apply the Teachable Agent system to language learning, which is an activity based on tense, context, and memory, we proposed a new method of TA by applying the Teachable Agent to reflect the learner's English pronunciation and level and generate the agent's answers according to the learner's errors and implemented a Teachable Agent AI chatbot prototype. We conducted usability evaluations with actual elementary English teachers and elementary school students to demonstrate learning effects. The results of this study can be applied to motivate students who are not interested in learning or elementary school students to voluntarily participate in learning through role-switching.

This paper discusses the possibility of enhancing the efficiency in Second Language Learning with the help of an educational information and content search system that utilizes a Cloud system based Big Data. The proposed system plays a role in tracing the exact information that user request considering the interest, level, and aptitude of each individual. Also, the system screen outs unnecessary learning materials if they do not correspond to the user level which in result is one of the key factor in the proposed system. Since it requires multiple steps of verification in providing the extracted results finding out a way to reduce the steps to shorten the time of process.
